You really shouldn't beat yourself up over it. I mean, sure I'm enjoying this because you're putting a lot of hard work into it, but at the same time the people that are actually in the rp won't judge you if things don't go according to plan.

Specialized Nano Stealth suit; this suit can completely hide the users body temperature and appearance by blending them into their backgrounds, otherwise known as Octo-Camo. This upgraded version includes the original upping of the strength, endurance, speed and weight problems with equipment but also adds a special mode that can flip out two short four foot long blades from the arms to use in combat if necessary. Along with imploying a type of emp bomb to shatter machinery and screw up other types of stealth suits in the area for a long period of time.

General Personality: Due to past she is very calm and almost emotionless. She tends to get the job done, no questions asked. One of the best snipers now days because of the nano machinary inside her body making her well past a super soldier, this very type of nano machinary warping her personality to not feel any regrets to each kill, no matter who or what she does kill.

General History: Vulture as she is so commonly known as has always been gifted with extreme sighting, she is so wise and talented that she earned her place in one of the branches of the ghost squad organization. Cold and always doing her mission to the utmost percent to the point of never failing so far she has become one of the best snipers in the world, rivaling the former legendary Sniper Wolf. Been on countless missions throughout her life so far that she knows many different types of terrains and warfare tactics, if she had the chance she could be a very dangerous assassin but chose to put her loyalties to the organization she now works for.

Special Abilities: The nano machinery inside of her makes her very unique. A practical super soldier without the ability to be hacked and forced to obey, her marksmanship is beyond normal, able to hit a pin from over a hundred yards away with dead on precision in the first shot. She can throw and use her knifes and hand to hand skills[CQC] to top notch performances if need be. Being skilled in both close range and afar tactics, she is a legend at far distance shooting.
 
Get in touch with Orion, intimately. He's running a rather tight operation and might interrogate your. Or something.

My advice: give your character more quirks and make her feel more natural, there's no need to be too exhaustive about combat abilities and specific things as long as you have something unique. We're all assumed to have that.
 
Due to being a Metal Gear fan I am surprised I miss this thread for so long, really hope I am the only one to practically reform the legendary Sniper Wolf but of course with a more advanced area of things since the time since that era has increased in technology.
 
If you had tried to join before the OverCast fiasco I wouldn't be so hesitant to let in new people, but I refuse to repeat my mistakes. If you don't know what I'm talking about just read through the past couple pages of the OOC. His character was Redwire. Part of the problem was that even though the bio looked OK the posts that followed tried to get everyone killed at every single turn. It would be like playing the section of MGS2 with Emma or the part of MGS3 with EVA if that escort character constantly yelled out your position and ran TOWARD the enemy.

Due to that problem I had made an entire bio for an NPC character named Dirty Skunk. He was going to be a member of the unit everyone could control. That way it was one less person to wait on posts from. I would be willing to put him aside if your character's bio measured up to what I want to see from someone joining this late in the RP. I really would like to see another actual MGS fan join. Especially since MAYBE THEN some of these other guys would realize you can't just remove a CODEC from your ear like a common ear-bud. Since it is equipment IMPLANTED INTO THE SMALL BONES OF YOUR EAR. It cannot be simply 'turned off'. Just pointing that out to certain other RPers that have been in this RP in case they are still keeping up with the OOC.

So, I'm going to point out everything I have a problem with in your bio in the hopes it reaches an acceptable state. I hate to act like this toward another MGS fan but I really cannot afford to take the risk of this RP getting any more messed up than it already is at this point. Mostly due to some of my own GMing mistakes whenit came to letting people join that perhaps should not have. IT IS NOTHING PERSONAL AGAINST YOU KILLERCLOVER. JUST AN OBSERVATIONAL CRITIQUE.

Bio Issues

-The Role. There is already a sniper in BLOODHOUND right now. So take a look at the bio for Zen's character Frostbite. Technically snipers do work in pairs, so maybe she would be okay with that. I can guess you are a Sniper Wolf fan and I hate denying people a chance to live out their MGS wishes in this RP. But I would need to hear from Zen, since her bio has already been accepted, cause I don't feel like upsetting someone whose bio I've already accepted long ago. - The nanomachines. Other than apparently being hack-proof, I need a bit more clarification before I would allow those. On one hand it seems like they only help her in the realm of sniping, but on the other you say that it turns her into a super soldier. Beyond a super soldier in fact. Does that mean she has advanced strength and speed as well? What is the extent of their abilities? How did she get them? US government? A guy in an alleyway with a trenchcoat full of them? Just flesh them out more since they are her special ability. If you intend to keep them anyway.

-The Suit. I don't have a problem with someone wanting to use octo-camo. Honestly I'm surprised at the lack of it in this RP really. But the twin blades to sound a lot like the ones The Widow has in her possession. On top of that your EMP bomb also sounds a lot like the EMP weapon The Widow has in the sense that it is part of the suit. If it were a type of grenade or perhaps some sort of short range gun it might be a different story. But right now it is not explained in much detail and sounds similar to another character's piece of technology. It does not mean only Ampoule's character can have EMP weaponry but I am trying to preserve uniqueness among members of the unit. Plus I'm pretty sure you are trying to be unique as well. Go look at her bio in the link above along with Frostbite's to see what I mean.

-The Knives. It says she has "a series of different knives in her possesion" but that hardly tells me anything. Asmo's character has 4 different pistols but he detailed each of them. My point is that if each knife is special I need to know each type. If she has multiple knives of the same type just say what the one type of knife is in her possession. Otherwise for all I know she has a laserknife and a butterknife.

-The Ghost Squad Organisation. What are they? Military black ops in the not-too-distant-future? A group that actually exists this very day & into the future? They are only mentioned once and not elaborated on at all. It would not matter too much to me except that you make a rather big deal out of the fact her wisdom & talent on the battlefield results in her getting accepted into them. Were they American even? I really feel like I know nothing about them. And I'm the guy running the RP. If you want to keep it a secret or something that's fine. Just PM me something about them. What I'm trying to avoid is accepting this bio & then having members of this GSO suddenly chasing after members of the BLOODHOUND unit. That puts the unit in danger and isn't part of the plot I had in mind.

-The History. This goes beyond just the whole GSO thing. I really feel like it is a bit too short for my liking. As an MGS fan I'm sure you understand what I mean. Take Sniper Wolf for instance, she has a long tragic past that shaped her entire life before ever joining the military. "I was born on a battlefield. Raised on a battlefield. Gunfire, sirens and screams... They were my lullabies..." Even a simple sentence like that says a lot about someone. I just want to know why. I want to feel some sort of attachment to Vulture so that when her life is in danger that I actually want her to survive. Why did Vulture join the military? Why did she LET them put the emotion draining nanomachines inside of her? What was she like BEFORE the nanomachines? Did she WANT to join BLOODHOUND or was she asked to join? Again, if you want to keep SOME things secret [Just PM the secret stuff to me.] so that it surprises others I can appreciate that. It's why no one really knows where the members of the Hellraiser Brigade came from. I intend to surprise everyone with their backstories & whatnot.

-The Codename. This is a major part of MGS characters. We both know that. Which is why when I saw you chose the name Vulture and then read the bio I felt sort of. . . let down. Right here is a quote from just Wikipedia on Vultures:
Vultures seldom attack healthy animals, but may kill the wounded or sick. When a carcass has too thick a hide for its beak to open, it waits for a larger scavenger to eat first. Vast numbers have been seen upon battlefields. They gorge themselves when prey is abundant, until their crop bulges, and sit, sleepy or half torpid, to digest their food. To me, personally, your character emulates hardly anything of the animal she is codenamed after. Not in her appearance, her weaponry, her history, her special ability, and only even potentially in her personality. If there were a sniper named Vulture in MGS, I think of a sharpshooter who picks off what the others do not kill right away. Or even 'steals kills' from others by shooting those already wounded and finishing them off. Plus there's the whole enhanced sense of smell angle. Maybe she can 'smell the battlefield' before getting any sort of intel way before anyone else in the unit would smell it? Anything to do with an enhanced sense of smell. This would make her an interesting total opposite of Dirty Skunk. Even more interesting is the whole corrosive stomach acid angle. I mean. . . a sniper who fires acid rounds? Now that's a living NIGHTMARE. Not only are you wounded, but your flesh is getting dissolved. Anything like that would make me more than happy to let your character into this RP.

If the codec part was ever explained in the beginning I probably missed it... Otherwise I didn't know that it was implanted.

As for there being another sniper, I don't mind.

Don't mind me, I just had the simple hope people would actually know certain aspects of an MGS game. Or have played one at one point before joining this RP. Or asked what a CODEC frequency was if they did not quite know what a CODEC was at all.

A series of different knifes upon her possession in case she has to get up close an personal, each knife type is special in there own way and as followed give a good understanding of what they can do and how they do it.

Acid Knife; Seeming like a regular old knife, this knife type shows an light greenish tone to the blade. Almost invisible to the naked eye, it upon the merest of slices to the skin would cause a severe burning from the acid within the blade. This would cause the wound to get worse and worse as time went by. This is organic, unable to eat through metal, for if it did that there would be no knife. Once it touches skin its hell for the target. The making behind the knife was rather simple, the nanobot based substances inside the blades hilt serves a purpose of giving a steady flow of stabilizers to the blade of the knives, this keeps two things from happening, the acid eating the metal on the knives and preventing the acid from dripping unnecessarily. Also making sure the base of the type of acid stays the way the user wants in, in this case Vulture wants it to eat away at flesh mostly so the machinery always working in the hilt keeps putting pressure into the acid to make it change into an organic eater. This type of flesh eating liquid would keep going until stopped, mostly by taking off the arm, leg and or killing the person for a merciful death of how serious this is. Per knife it only takes two full hours for the acid to become an organic flesh killer then there is no more use for the nanobots and they can be taken out for future use.

Mind Warp knifes;
This knife once it hits is able to make a person go mad with rage, even sorrow in some cases. Different emotions would ensue once the user picks out the different types of knifes in this catagory, blue for depression, red for rage, purple for reasoning meaning the target would end up so screwed up in the end that they would attack the closest person to them, which tends to be an ally. A white for a blank state of mind, making the person believe their mind isn't there and going into a vegetable state. These knives are very spiritual, based on Psycho Mantis's way of mind warping victims with emotional change certain types of objects in the world are able to be implanted with a very similar type of thing. Being that Jeanne never heard of Psycho Mantis she didn't get to upgrade alot of her equipment to base things on the way he did things, else she could possibly start up a treak of mind warping people to form a army, but what fun is that when she prefers a silent approach, so instead this type of specialized nanobots with a 'memory' core inside to memorize the traits of Psycho Mantis's powers and give the blades the powers, this being very helpful for missions later on. So in all it is a mix of spiritual and machinery.

It holds around 18 sheaths for the knives to be stored into. Alot of knives but necessary just in case she does not have guns for awhile.

Her general state of mind has become so warped that she tends to get this thrill off of making her targets suffer, sometimes she doesn't do this, but then that spark shoots itself through her and she makes her enemies regret the day they became as such.

General History:
The Past; When she was around thirteen she started shooting guns. Her favorite being a bolt action sniper rifle, during the young age she heard about a sniper this sniper was quite something to her. The woman was code named Sniper Wolf, sniper stuck with Jeanne through her life from then on. She began shooting sniper rifles increasingly. When she reached eighteen she took countless VR Courses to perfect her fighting skills without ever fighting a real opponent, once her peers thought she was ready enough she set out and took more live training exercises begining to make herself more and more to the top edge soldier that she could possibly be. By the age of twenty two she heard of nano machines ruling the industries, her idol, someone she wanted to meet but knew she couldn't. Sniper Wolf was so calm but twisted in her missions, this made Jeanne decide to go through with that, upon hearing about Sniper Wolf's death it made her feel sad, then angered then understanding built in her, she wanted no needed to continue Sniper Wolf's legacy. She began training her mind until a week before her birthday, she offered herself to take the nano machine gene testing, get the machines inside of her she knew the risks but to be like her idol? She'd do anything to succeed in that area. Once the machines kicked in right on her birthday she took up the name Vulture, a animal wich picks off its prey once its at its weakest, much like the Wolf as it stalked its prey and taunted it until killing it off. Only her way was much more deadly...

Distant present time and future; Vulture as she is so commonly known as has always been gifted with extreme sight of hand, known as sniping in most cases, she is so wise and talented that she earned her place in one of the branches of the ghost squad organization[Bloodhound]. Been on countless missions throughout her life so far that she knows many different types of terrains and warfare tactics, if she had the chance she could be a very dangerous assassin but chose to put her loyalties to the organization she now works for known as Bloodhound, something about the name of Blood made Jeanne fill the inner lust for torment build and release enough to seek out this organization through proving her skills to the world, once that happened they saw her talent and invited her in.

A practical super soldier without the ability to be hacked and forced to obey due to her warped mind, her marksmanship is beyond normal, able to hit a pin from over a hundred yards away with dead on precision in the first shot. She can throw and use her knifes and hand to hand skills[CQC] to top notch performances if need be. Being skilled in both close range and afar tactics, she is a legend at far distance shooting. She can see and practically smell the battlefield like a Vulture. As her codename says for her she is easily able to show instances of the Vulture, smelling the terrain and seeing threats before they arrive, at a cost though, she cannot see a camoflauged person as they sneak up, but she can smell them just like a Vulture could. The nano machines inside of her allow her to have a heightened sense of things making her able to adapt on emotions much easier and faster then would be thought possible, she has an uncanny act of torture upon her, making her able to sense the fear of her prey and spot them once that happens.
 
A say this is... A bit too much. The knives are ok, as well as the handgun, but the suit is just s bit much. The emp bit could be expanded on, as it would knock out the abilities of her suit for a while, meaning she is carrying around a lot of dead weight and visible to boot. Still, I don't know what the ghost people are. Not only that, we don't know why she is so screwed up.

In short, when I think vulture, I think eye sight, patience, and a bit of taunting. And clean up. All in all, it's kinda... Heavy.

And no, I am not ripping you apart because your using the Major's pic... Well... Maybe a little.
 
Not to backfire on you Raiu, but for one Orion told me to pretty much add those things and two, that is what the Octo-camo suit does, it ups the endurance, speed of movement, reflexes and strength of the user. Read back on the comments, you'll see, also I suggest playing the Metal Gear series before trying to judge something like her equipment. Fear from Metal Gear three could run on water, turn invisible due to a machine and shoot tons of poison needles at you. The End was over 300 years old and was a very gifted sniper, almost never missing. Fury had a flamthrower, flew around and when died turned into a flaming serpent and quickly vanished afterwards. Vulgan had power of electricty and could shoot bullets from his hand, getting to your head yet? Good, Vultures can smell their prey, sense the field of surroundings around them, pick apart weakened enemies. The ghost squad? Explained at the end, you could have easily read that before speaking, would have saved you this message. Bloodhound, generized as a ghost squad, barley exists in the world, you knew that so why did you ask? Yeah, weird. And there we have it, the finalization of my little speech.

Also, the emp discs, they weight nothing at all, and with the endurance thing inside the suit it is even more of nothing, she is very light weight in equipment and highly strong on her own.
 
I have no idea what's going on, but just from a practical sense, I don't see the need to carry so many different knives. Che .. er, chemically speaking, it'd be more realistic for the knives to be coated with hallucinogenics. Acids eat metal, so that's a bit antithetical. And it's hard to carry so many things on you.

I want to have fun, and I bet you want to have fun. You wouldn't have fun if your character was too aloof (essentially making you carry out a monologue) or if your abilities classed so high above ours we would have trouble keeping each other in the same RP.
 
Unanun; Vulture is just as human as anyone else, shoot her and she'll die. just like everyone else, also, there isn't very many knives upon her. Just a certain amount just like Vamp had a certain amount.

And i've been in plenty of group rps, I am not a first day rper. Three years is plenty of experience to know how things work, only thing I edited was a message to someone else because I needed to add something, just like this message. Please, ask someone how long they've been rping before assuming they don't know the rules, it'd be nice. I am only nice when someone is nice to me first, sometimes even nice whenever someone is hostile to me. This is unnecessary rambling so I am gonna stop, i am here to have fun and enjoy rp. If everyone wishes to downsize what I do when I am merely following what the Gm said then I just don't need to be in this rp.
