Hello, I was wondering if this topic is closed because I would be interested in joining. If you guys need a character slot filled or anything, let me know. I know, I haven't done anything with my roleplaying profile yet so I probably look like a newb. >.> I just wanted to get involved first before anything filled up.
 
It's not neccesarily filled up. One of the original guys went MIA.

I have to hijack him for now due to the fact him just VANISH would be a bit of a PIME TARADOX. But I have a feeling that, despite how good his character was. . . he won't be around forever. Especially if there's an ACTUAL PERSON wanting to join.

It'd be easy for you to join between "missions" though.

I wasn't counting on the website being down and I was hoping to read everything in the thread before posting but unfortunately that didn't happen. But I promise I'll get it done tomorrow so long as fate doesn't frown upon me.

You wouldn't really even need to have it ready until the end of this mission anyway. You've got time. Just take your time with it and make it something you're proud of rather than frantically trying to finish it.

General Appearance: Frostbite.jpg This is her general appearance. When not in combat, Frostbite is wearing a black hoodie but instead of zippers, she has white laces. It is also cut off at her midriff. Her top resembles something like a corset. She wears camo cargo pants and black combat boots. Frostbite has the typical hourglass shape although she is very well endowed.

All of her guns have silencers and her sniper has a flash suppressor.

General Personality: Frostbite, despite being in the Special Ops forces in the United States, has retained most of her humanity. She is still disturbed by seeing carnage and blood, however she has developed a barrier or shield against most of the horrors of war. She has a very cold personality, seemingly very detached and aloof at times. Frostbite does have a soft and compassionate side but the chances of that coming out are very slim because she knows she becomes vulnerable.

General History: Frostbite joined the military when she turned 18. She was barely just out of high school at the time. The reason for this was simply because she is an orphan. She didn't have a home, family or any money and the military was a guaranteed job. Instead of enrolling into a branch that wouldn't surely kill her, Frostbite joined the Navy Seals. The reason is not clear, even though her fellow soldiers and commanding officers have asked her why. Frostbite has purposefully avoided this question. However she took to the work and the training rather well, soon becoming a squad leader in her fire team.
When Frostbite turned 20, she was sent on a mission with the rest of her squad to infiltrate a facility responsible for the smuggling of weapons in Africa. Their orders were to assassinate the leaders of the smuggling band. They had engaged properly and accomplished their mission but in the escape, she was separated from the rest of her squad. While they were able to get to the rendezvous point along the cliff edge, Frostbite was not able to make it. The helicopter filled with her squad had taken off because they were being fired upon. Frostbite had to jump off the cliff into the rough waters. While still being shot at, Frostbite swam against the strong currents for god knows how long, but she soon her body wasn't able to take strain... She drowned and washed ashore some miles away... She was declared clinically dead for a minute before being resuscitated by an African civilian. Frostbite returned but after that traumatic experience Frostbite cannot stop seeing ghosts or spirits lurking about...

Frostbite continued with her career, although some of her squad mates and her commanding officers seem to believe they got out alive because Frostbite instinctively was able to tell them where to go and where to avoid. However they have also noticed that Frostbite stares off into the distance, talks or mutters to thin air as if having a conversation, and refuses to sleep by herself. She also refused to see a doctor about her mental health...

She still does not understand why BLOODHOUND recruited her, especially after seeing the files on the rest of the team. If anything Frostbite believes that her mental health, while still not as disturbing as her other team mates, may end up with a soldier killed... After much debating with herself and the ones in charge of recruiting her, Frostbite decided to join.

After drowning, Frostbite now drowns herself with alcohol. She does not drink around a mission, whether before or right after the mission. She typically drinks when she isn't busy because she starts to think and talk to the dead.

Special Abilities: Frostbite, whether it be because of her pure talents, or because she was dead before being brought back, is incredibly insightful and can almost tell if something is about to happen. These insights can be based on her gut feelings/instincts or a whisper in her ear. Frostbite also has the ability to see ghosts and spirits, although the further she seems to get into her military career, the worst the apparitions appear. Because Frostbite has retained most of her humanity and compassion, she is very talented at keeping a group together and motivated. This does not mean she is motherly in the aspect that she hugs everyone and gives them kisses on the cheek. She will listen to people, albeit gruffly, and tries her best to ensure no one fights.

Aside from her some what rough people skills, Frostbite is also talented as a run and gun soldier, a sniper, and close quarters combat. She is a strong swimmer, a born leader but she will step down if need be to a follower.

General Personality: James "Redwire" Hargreave is the son of a general. He is very demanding, considering he is a Brigadier General himself. Though he has a high rank, he is almost always on missions, as he is one of a kind. Inside, he just wants to please his father.
General History: Seeing that Jame's father was a general, he was raised in a military enviroment, and decided to join, as he didn't know much else.

General Personality: Considering the nature of his field of work, Lock is jovial and friendly. He gives up very little of himself and his history however, and everything with him is entirely "face value". He laughs a lot, even at things entirely inappropriate.

There is something entirely fake and disingenuous about him, whether it be the tone of voice or the lack of eye contact-- there's always something “off”. It doesn't help also that he never takes off his goggles.

General History
: Lock started his career in the U.S. Army at age 18 and earned his Combat Infantryman Badge before the age 19. By age 20, he earned his "Jump Wings" and fought actively with the 82nd Airborne Division before transferring over to the 75th Ranger Regiment. By age 25, Lock was pursued by 1-SFOD-D: Delta Force.

While his military career up to Delta Force is open to any superior ready to go through his combat record, his service in Delta Force is largely one long black strip of censored, top-secret material. Needless to say, Lock served above and beyond for his country and fellow soldiers. He is as combat ready as any soldier, and more than capable of secret and highly delicate missions.

At some point during or before his stint with the 75th Rangers, Lock was designated an interrogations expert. Additionally, he has fulfilled the role as a hand-to-hand combat instructor at numerous schools between deployments.

During a joint op with CIA and Delta Force, Lock and several other operatives infiltrated an east-African warlord's territory with orders to find rumoured weapons of mass destruction and an extensive drug network. They were ultimately captured and tortured for an extended length of time. When finally rescued, Lock was the only one left alive-- and was found laughing.

Special Abilities: Lock was later fitted with enhanced nanomachines that allowed his body to adapt to a specialized cyborg body-type that increased his combat performance at close range. With this new body, nearly every joint on his body was replaced with a "ball-lock" system that allows near 360-degree movement, making it impossible to trap him in any hand-to-hand maneuver. Additionally, his cyborg body sees increased performance through a reinforced skeletal structure and enhanced synthetic muscle tissue.

Some of Lock's military achievements include: certified marksman; highly competent in infiltration and small arms; cleared to handle high explosives; HALO and HAHO certified; cleared field medic, and he has earned an Army Aviation Badge.

General Appearance: A little more than five feet tall, athletic-build, dark brown hair, gray-brown eyes. Usually in casual attire. On missions, carries a cross-body backpack and dresses in a bullet proof vest over sleek, gently fitted full-sleeve shirt, finger-less gloves, pleated skirt, a belt with a small buckle, leather leggings, steel-toed-skate-style-boots (knee-high) and her hair in twin braids flipped and tucked under a ski cap.

Weapons/Equipment: Asthma Inhaler, Surveillance gear (tiny cameras, owvl transmission devices, video and audio recording devices), Explosive Material (a couple of mini pressurized aerosol cans, two grain-dust-bomb material sets and three impact-friction bomb material sets.), Guns (a
pair of silenced .45 92 FS Beretta with four extra magazines, a modified short-barrel shot-gun with explosive rounds), and an Electric Stun Baton (expandable and clipped to her belt.).

General Personality: Cunning and careful, Lucky Star tries her best not to let her vulnerable kindness and emotional weakness get in the way of her work. Impulsive, dramatic, at times childish, intelligent in her fields, but nonetheless, comparatively naive.

General History: Star was raised in a family working for a Chinese intelligence agency working to overthrow the communist party and their government for a more democratic rule. From a young age, she was trained in martial arts and counter-intelligence, leading a double life with the outside world. Despite the agency's attempts to mold her into a combat agent, Star was more interested in surveillance technologies and bomb creations. She originally started to stray away from the agency when she started college a year early, pursuing her degree in electrical engineering with a computer science minor, giving her the necessary knowledge to expand her interest in the field. It was after her graduation that the agency attempted to fully matriculate her into their ranks.

Following her instincts to run away, Star left the country on a fake passport and took refuge in America, where she was constantly on the run, creating identities and rotating through them for about four months time. She was unable to escape the agency's tracking due to the rfid chip that was implanted into her left shoulder at a young age. It allowed them to track her location, and within close range, send minor electric currents through her system, causing repeated short bits of respiratory paralysis, which developed into intermittent asthma. At the end of the fourth month, she was approached by BLOODHOUND agents. They offered protection from her agency in return for her enlistment. She accepted.

She was told it was impossible to completely remove the implant through surgery, but it's electrical signal and connectivity was rendered useless. The chip itself, however, poses electrical hazards: reaction to EMF radiation, a strong electric field, or magnetic disturbances results in possible internal/external burns or shock. In Star's particular case, a reaction might result in an asthma attack.

Still, she is more than happy to be recruited for BLOODHOUND as opposed to her espionage roots.

Special Abilities: Can build a make-shift, pressurized impact or friction bomb from scratch; her fascination with high-tech gadgets resulted in her improvised engineering. Small bodied and acrobatic, she's agile and suited to sneaking around small places. Undeniably a team player when it comes to communications, her sub-specialty being messenger.
