Swag is one that's lost it's meaning.

I'm pretty sure it at a time meant "Secretly we are gay" and was prison slang.
But... You know, kids had to go and make it a "cool" thing. XD

I don't know about that, I know before the more recent and vague use of it started, swag was 'stuff we all get', and referred to grab bags and other mass-distributed freebies at an event.

Swag is a bit of a mysterious one, I'll admit.
It probably meant "to hang" or "to sway" or something like that before all of those derogatory meanings came about. Sway? Sway...g? Swag? Swagger about?

No. Swag comes from swagger, Swagger is a old as shit word. Swagger means to carry yourself with confidence. Often considered cocky and insolent behavior.

I could have sworn it had an older meaning behind it though.
 
That is the old meaning. Its from the 16th centure. Its Old middle english, related to old scandinavian.
