2626 A.D...Somewhere in the outer rim of Gamma Sector

"It's so strange to be standing here, on some unknown alien vessel, staring up at a twisted monstrosity of flesh and veins. My wrists sliced open, blood pouring out profusely. But here I am, ready to throw myself into a gaping chasm to potentially end all reality as we know it. If there's anyone listening out there, this will be my final sign off. I don't even know how to describe my current surroundings, but I'll try. A few days ago, my freight crew, along with our military escort, got lost in a vast nebula that by all rights, shouldn't have been there. What awaited us on the inside were horrors incomprehensible to the Human experience. I used to not believe in monsters, but in the last few days, that's all I believe in. But to go along with the nightmares, there's also a terrible truth out here. If you've ever wondered about the mysteries of reality and why we exist, trust me...I now have those answers and I wish I didn't. It's a laugh, a cosmic practical joke of universal proportion. Your life, my life...everything we've ever done, do and will ever do, is fucking , meaningless. But I have to go now, he's calling me. I think I'm the last one, the last pathetic survivor floating in a sea of infinite blackness with the knowledge that this so called existence is anything but. So what does any of it matter anymore? If you do receive this transmission, than consider it a dire warning. Lest you be exposed to the unfathomable nightmare, the absolute tragedy of horror that is...The Sky Dreamer. Well here goes nothing, or everything depending upon your point of view."

"Great Azathoth, accept this final sacrifice! For upon my death, I hope to release you from this prison! Awaken, and dream no more..."

**This will be a Lovecraft style science fiction/horror RP set in the far future. We will be the crew of a run down space freighter who encounter an eerie nebula that appears from out of nowhere. Looking for a short cut, we enter the nebula and bare witness to a horrific graveyard of spacecraft that all vanished many years before. On investigation we uncover a cosmic nightmare that will make us question the very nature of reality itself and whether life has any meaning to it at all. Is the truth worth knowing?

This sounds pretty cool. I'm not sure if it's quite my thing, but it's cool.

Potential interest-- what's the writing level/posting requirement going to be?

...nevermind. I think I'm a little too queer for this.
