"Hehehehe!"

This was quite the interesting development! Sam had gotten his jollies by almost seeing that teen boy narrowly avoid becoming lunch for a zombie. The latter of which was a favorite creature that Sam had under his thumb back home. These creatures seemed much smarter, tougher than his usual zombies however. Though they still had quite a number of kinks to work out. This was absolutely ridiculous with how quickly these guys were spreading undead viscera all over the place!

It was time for the thousand year old Halloween spirit to show them how it was done! Or well that's what Sam would have liked to do. As it stood however he was currently scooped off his feet and held with his face against Clarith's chest as the battle raged on. Had this woman still failed to see that there was more to him beyond appearing like a child?

Her actions said otherwise. But perhaps she was simply frightened, a normal enough human reaction! One that amused Sam and one that would he have liked to see more of! Which meant this woman couldn't get hurt or die!

"Heh..."

@Gummi Bunnies

The deadites were quickly mowed down by everyone's attacks. Kanade's arm blade cut through them like butter, Eleven's attacks sent them crumbling to their knees, Chun Li's Kikosho blew away a large group of them, and the efforts of everyone pretty much instantly cleared the deadites. The poor zombies hadn't stood a chance against the fancy bladework and assortment of powers, or even the power of handguns and baseball bats.

The large man that Eleven struck, however, seemed to hardly even register her attack. In fact, it was as if nothing had happened at all, but instead a nearby deadite that hadn't been attacked was sent flying around like a loose leaf in the wind. Even the knives thrown her way by DIO were blocked by the large being, yet no injuries were sustained. The same deadite that had been sent flying, however, suddenly suffered an incredibly large number of knife wounds.

The attacks all struck their target, yet the target was not the one to suffer the damage.

Meanwhile, the nearly countless copies of the man with the strange second head sprouting from his back began teleporting around the various attacks coming out. A few went down to the many slashes, knives, and other attacks thrown out towards them. Alexandria herself crushed many of their heads with her powerful hands, the other costumed teens in the room also attempting to fend them off. With things from a boy who was made of metal and a kid who shot them with a gatling gun on a flying skateboard, there seemed to be quite a number of tricks up the Protectorate's sleeve.

Yet still the remaining ones continued forward, swinging their axes in vain as they attempted to fend off all the attacks coming their way. The sheer presence of the one with the "Tyrant" tattoo on his chest seemed to slowly drain the power of everyone in the area, however. From Kanade's sonic blades to Dimaria's Age Seal, supernatural powers would begin to slowly weaken in power.

Fortunately for the group, that had minimal impact on those who relied on technological superiority or other non-supernatural means of combat.

"Ah, you don't appreciate my art? That's so mean!" A sing-song voice came from the girl called Bonesaw as Dimaria gave her derogatory remarks towards her creations. "People just never understand art until it punches them in the face! Hackjobs, Tyrant, spiders!"

She snapped, and mechanical limbs came bursting out of the collapsed deadites' remains, their diseased organs and skin flooding and raining from the air. Like newborns bursting from humanoid-shaped eggs, the mechanical spiders began to replace the easily felled zombies. In place of mandibles, each wielded some sort of tool one might associate with the medical field, from oversized scalpels to circular saws, and began to leap towards each of them!

Not only that, but the men with two heads began to teleport around, leaving afterimages in their wake as they did so. One might almost confuse it for high-speed movement, were it not for the fact the afterimages themselves could act for a short time before disappearing. Their numbers practically doubled for a second, twice the number of the abominations called Hackjob swinging down their axes!

Space twisted as Vista warped the area around her and her allies to prevent the axes from reaching, the ceiling itself swinging down to block the strikes in a surreal fashion.

"How many of these things are there?!" The kid flying about on a hovering skateboard of sorts complained as he blasted away at the spiders and horrific combination of bodies.

"Focus, Kid Win." Alexandria spoke calmly but strongly even as she moved about at high speeds, clobbering the creatures with one strike each. She alone seemed to be able to take care of at least half of the building, leaving the rest to deal with the other half.

"Hey!" Bonesaw called out, still sitting atop Tyrant as she twirled one of her ringlets. "If you guys just surrender here, I'll make your operations as painless as possible? How's that sound?"

"Piss off," a boy in a grey costume that covered his entire body with clock designs on it replied immediately.

"Watch your language!"

This was far more than Eleven could handle telekinetically, though she simply caused every personal attack on her to fail due to twisting whatever appendage attempted to deliver the blows in an unnatural direction. Her powers were psionic, created by science, so they weren't in the least effected.

If the big monster she rode was impervious to physical attack, perhaps she could trick it. She mimicked Bonesaw's voice from the nearest electronic device to where the monster stood. "Tyrant, put me down in front of the one with the hockey mask. I want to deal with him personally."

She wiped her nose of blood, and absently sent another attacker flying with a wave of her hand.

David had taken up a more... Stable stance now, after having gotten himself free from under ghost fast, as their enemies only grew in numbers and intensity; those zombie like creatures were mostly, gone, but in their place... Mechanical abberations rushed towards them, along with more horrific meshed together bodies, coming after them.

By now, he had drawn his fruit knife, dual wielding it with his pistol, as he aimed to at least hold back the hordes of creatures. He was waiting for an opening, which he would either use to deal some heavier damage by rushing straight in and perhaps popping a few shots at the bigger fish, but at the same time, that alone, might not be enough.

So that meant that he needed a backup plan... Fast, and that was when he remembered how he had managed to fight off the Crooked Man, even without a weapon; he used his environment to his advantage. He still had a lighter in his pocket, filled with some fuel incase he ever needed to start a fire. However, he decided to expand his options, and check his environment for anything he could use to his advantage, in the moments he could dare to divert his attention from the onslaught of creatures, usually for less than a second or so at a time.

It'll be alright soon... It'll all be alright...

Clarith repeated this thought in her head multiple times, trying to reinforce herself to stay calm in a time like this. She didn't want to put herself out there to be an easy target for threats to pick on, so she had to stay strong and well here. However, she couldn't bring herself to assist in the conflict, she didn't know how to bring harm to another person undesirable...

Not exactly taking to mind that Sam was letting out little giggles here and there, the Netsuma woman began to whisper her mental mantra to herself.

"It'll be alright soon... It'll all be alright... We're all going to be alright..."

Lowering his boomstick to blast one of the spiders, Ash's aim was suddenly unsteady as he pulled the trigger. The shot went wide and merely clipped the spider rather than outright destroying it as it scurried past Ash in order to get at his more powerful allies. Annoyed with how he'd missed the little bugger when he'd destroyed two of them back at his trailer, Ash glanced down at his feet. There was sure to be blood, yeah. In between cutting and shooting deadites up, Ash usually ended up coming out of it looking like he'd been working in a slaughterhouse all day.

But something about this sudden bloodflow didn't feel right. For one thing it was up to his ankles and making it difficult to step around in! No, he hadn't killed enough deadites to spill this much blood, he was sure of it! Something else had to be at work here! Glancing all around, Ash's attention finally glanced upward. Seemed somehow the sprinklers had been turned on and instead of a helpful doseage of water to deal with fires, these bad boys were pouring out the good ol red stuff!

"Alright, very funny, making it rain blood. The hell you call this huh? This is just a little trinkle! When I fought you in the cabin all those years ago, you had torrents of the stuff! Where's your A-Game, you evil piece of shit!"

Ash roared thinking it was little more than the Necronomicon messing with him once more, after it'd already taken away everything Ash cared for and his family/friends. But the demon killer would have soon learned that this wasn't the book's doing. Well, at least not entirely. Just as Ash was about to wreak havoc on the spiders, he paused as he heard something coming from the radio of his car. But it was wrecked beyond belief when that big oaf tossed it in here!

"...What?" Ash muttered as he turned to look at his Oldsmobile which no longer looked like the car he loved! In fact it looked like a completely different car! What the hell was going on here?!

V63Ijfq.jpg

"Rock'n Roll is here to stay! It will never die!"

"What the hell did you do to my car?!" Ash exclaimed as the car's headlights flickered to life and below the car? Pumpkinhead was finally coming to. The last thing the demon recalled was laughing at Ash being humiliated by that female human before something came through the wall and smashed into it's head. But now that it was awake, it was confused as to what this car was doing on top of it!

Continuing to 'stare' straight ahead at Williams, the car's front license place began to shift before his very ears. Into something that made Ash's blood run cold.

123FRD4U

"No...No I sent you to Hell!" Ash could only watch as the car suddenly began to spin it's wheels. Seemingly ignorant of the entity laying under it or simply not caring. Pumpkinhead's screeches rang out as the wheels tore into flesh and smashed bones into paste. But the car wasn't done there! Everything seemed to go quiet as the car went dead silent and smoke began to emit from all around the car. As it neared Ash, he waved it away as he leveled his boomstick towards the car.

"Alright, you can hurt these guys, you can hurt me, but you leave my car out of this."

But whatever entity may have been possessing Ash's car simply refused to listen. but then something happened and as if it took into account Ash's comments from earlier, a massive torrent of blood from Pumpkinhead gushed outward and sent the car rocketing in the air and towards Ash as the blood gushed outwards, coating whoever was close enough in the crimson liquid! Ash nearly slipped onto his rear as a result of the stuff but he had to keep moving! Because that demonically possessed car was coming in hot! Rolling off to the side, the car landed onto the ground with a splash as it sent a small wave of water towards Ash.

Sparing a brief glance over at what remained of Pumpkinhead after that ordeal, Ash winced. The chest had been torn open by the friction of the wheel grinding upon it and the arms and legs were twisted everywhich way with bones jutting out here and there. Ash may have despised demons for being the #1 source of frustration in his life but what a way to go. Still, dead demons and showers of blood aside? Ash loved that car and the fact that it was being used as a murder-killing machine and not by him but a certain demon asshole?

Well, that just pissed Ash right off. Revving up his chainsaw, Ash motioned for the car to come at him!

I7Oe8tZ.jpg

The car spun it's wheels and sent some of Pumpkinhead's guts and sinew flying through the air as the smoke from before began to emit from around the car and the song on the radio changed once more.

"You're mine! You beloooooong to meeeeeeee!"

Prepared as he was to dodge the car's next incoming charge, Ash didn't even flinch as a spider came leaping at him from the side. Raising the boomstick, Ash fired and this time? He made damn sure he didn't miss. As the bits of the spider fell to the ground, Ash kept his gaze focused on the car.

As Eleven twisted limbs, Jason was slicing and dicing. His machete cut through flesh and left a trail of bloody viscera in it's wake. Even as axes embedded themselves into the zombie's back/shoulder blades, he wasn't deterred! He wouldn't stop until all of these things were dead! Or well deader than they were currently. With axes sticking in him from every angle, Jason was already a blood sprinkler with his horrid smelling black blood oozing out onto the blood which was up to Jason's ankles. The resulting wave of blood kicked up by Ash's car made quite the disturbance in of itself.

Normally, Jason would have simply brushed it off as blood splashed into him. He wasn't a stranger to it obviously. But as the blood made contact, Jason idly wondered if it was messing with him as he could have sworn he had heard somebody, somebody too familiar for Jason to ever forget!

"Jason, my special special boy.."

The machete slipped from Jason's blood soaked hands and floated atop the blood as he froze up. That voice, that face, he could never forget...

latest

His mother!

But how had she gotten here? Jason knew she was strong, he knew that full well! She killed all those sinners who had been off doing awful things instead of watching him! But he'd seen her get her head cut off! How had she come here to see him in the midst of all this carnage? Holding her arms out, 'Pamela' smiled at her son and motioned for him to come closer. Jason briefly glanced over at Eleven who seemed to have her hands full. But she had proved to Jason that she could handle herself. How else could she take down all those deadites then?

Smashing any spiders that skittered towards him under his boot, Jason continued towards his mom as she wrapped her arms around her son.

"Oh Jason, I always knew you were a...FUCKING RETARD!"

Sharply confused as to why his own beloved mother would call him such a thing, Jason tried to pull back but it was that point he felt something puncture into his flesh. To everyone else it would have just seemed like a kindly old lady. But as the skin began to chip away and shattered like glass, Jason's eye went wide at what he saw. This wasn't his mother at all! It was a nightmarish mimicry of these spiders!

wUJe1Bh.jpg

Freddy Krueger, the Springwood Slasher himself! But how had he ended up here? The last time Jason saw him, he'd lost his powers to those strange looking demons. But now here he was again flaunting his ability to treat the world outside of dreams like his personal toybox. Not only that but he impersonated Jason's mother yet again! Struggling defiantly against the sharp bone like legs that the Fredspider had hooked into the zombie's flesh, it laughed in his face.

"Hahaahaha! Now isn't that a change of pace? When that discount Elvis, Ashley J Williams saw me? He damn near pissed his pants and here you are angrier than a retard who lost his seat on the short bus. Well, tell you what Hockey Puck? You won't have to see this nasty world or my mug ever again!"

The Fredspider proclaimed as it extended Freddy's trademark glove and positioned two of the blades right at Jason's eyesockets and plunged them in!

cBqira5.png

Blood gushed out from Jason's eyesockets at a rapid pace. Trails of the black liquid was coating the serial killer's mask as his vision had gone from only having one eye to work with to none! His remaining eye had easily been pierced by Krueger's claw while the other penetrated into Jason's grey matter though given Jason's current state of decomposition, that was more of a nuisance than anything else. Though given the violent jerks of Jason's head it was quite the painful nuisance!

If Michael was perturbed by the sudden splash of blood onto his coveralls or the axes being swung his way? He never made any kind of noise or suggested otherwise with his body language. Swinging the arm he'd ripped off a poor deadite seemed to work well enough. That was until he drew closer to the Tyrant. He could feel his unnatural strength fading from him and when he used to be able to crunch these mechanical spiders under his heel?

He could do no such thing now. The attempted stomp knocked the spider off it's footing for sure but the saw lashed out and tore into Michael's leg sending blood flying all over. But Michael still made no motion to indicate he was in pain as he swung the arm downwards and continued to do so until he had smashed the spider to pieces. Though his legs looked like hell in the process. Normally, that would have been a one hit kind of affair.

Yet, it seemed like something was tampering with his abilities. Turning a sharp glance towards the Tyrant, Michael ripped a scalpel off one of the spiders and started to make his way towards Tyrant, intent on stabbing the abomination.

However, hearing a pained cry from behind her caused the girl to momentarily trip from her efficient fighting and for one of the deadites to lift the petite girl up. Kanade hadn't been listening to their insane ramblings, and as the grip tightened around her waist with a painful creaking noise, she looked over her shoulder and relaxed slightly to see Charlie was mostly fine. She cut through the deadite holding her quickly after that, slicing through his arms and falling down into the floor, crouching.

Stepping back and staying on guard this time, Kanade made her way beside Charlie, ignoring the terrible pain in her middle. "I apologize if I wasn't able to make my way to you on time." She was somewhat concerned... But had no idea how to display it. "How severe is the damage to your hand?"
Cl1PNO7.jpg

"Stay back!"

Charlie exclaimed as he clutched at the bite wound upon his hand. It had darkened and a almost spider web-like structure had developed over it with a sickly looking yellow pus dripping from the wound. Normally, it would have frightened Charlie out of his mind. But he didn't have time to get scared here. He had seen one of these zombie things get a hold of this girl before she came to help him.

"It..It stings but otherwise I feel alright. I just..Look out!"

Gripping a stake tightly in his bitten hand, Charlie stepped forward and drove the stake downward towards an approaching spider. If Charlie had used his other hand, it's likely the stake would have splintered upon crashing against the spider's metal shell and Charlie would have been in deep trouble. But for some reason that Charlie couldn't quite understand, by using this hand the stake punctured through the spider's body and through the bottom.

The teen's eyes were as wide as dinner plates as he stumbled back and fell onto his rear at the sight. In his short time of being with this group, he had seen serial killers, zombies, and now even more zombies and mechanical spiders armed with all kinds of dangerous weaponry. He wasn't supposed to be here. He didn't even have a gun like that girl...guy...person in the Halloween costume! All he had was superficial garbage that worked well on a vampire but on anything else? He may as well have waved his hands back and forth for all the good it did him.

Clutching onto his hand, Charlie staggered to his feet and stared at it. It had to have been an influx of adrenaline right? He was caught up in the moment and didn't want to see this girl who had kicked so much ass to make sure he was okay get hurt. That made a hell of a lot more sense than one of these zombie things doing something freaky to his hand!

@Hana
After that, Jacket swung the baseball bat with full force. Knocking the deadite to the ground. After which, Jacket stood atop the creature. Before he raised the baseball bat, bringing it down several times until all he was doing was hitting deadite brain matter into the ground.

He looked over and saw David and Ghostface. It seemed David was holding them off, but would require assistance.

So Jacket went over, dispatching deadites along the way. Once he was next to them. He held up his tape recorder. "-need assistance?"
okFOwRj.jpg

The deadite was prepared to simply tear Tarman limb from limb before Jacket intervened. The bat caved in the monster's nose and sent it crashing to the ground. It's hands immediately shot up and the deadite shrieked as green blood began to coat Jacket's bat.

"WE LIVE! WE WILL ALWAAAAAAAAYS LIIIIIIVE!!" The deadite cried again and again until it's cries became little more than gurgles of blood as Tarman watched on from the sidelines. The zombie could feel himself decomposing and as far as he was concerned? That would hurt a hell of a lot more than anything this guy could have done to him.

But Jacket had come to his rescue! Just like he had expected a friend would do! Rising up to his feet, Tarman raced after Jacket. Or rather awkwardly shambled after him with a grin on his face. He may not have had guns or anything else but he'd still help Jacket however he could! "HOLD ON FRIEND, I'LL HELP YOU!"

dTuMbHo.jpg

"I have literally the worst headache..." Ghostface grumbled under their breath as they staggered to their feet. As it turned out, getting flung across the room by a demonically possessed corpse really did a number on you when you touched down. Not to mention that it hurt even more when you weren't supernaturally inclined like some of the other serial killers here. Nooooo, you had the misfortune of being the vanilla one of the bunch.

Though, at least you had a gun unlike that jackass who though he was a bigger horror buff than them. Standing side by side with David, Ghostface drew their pistol once more and continued to open fire on the incoming spiders. It wasn't as powerful as Ash's boomstick but hopefully it'd do the trick. This costume may have been great for scaring horny teens but it didn't stand up too well to scalpels or buzzsaws. But as it turned out? Ghostface actually had the perfect defense.

Looking over as Tarman came shambling over with cries of wanting to help, Ghostface gripped them around the neck. In a manner that you would use for a chokehold. Tarman of course was too caught up in his need to want to help Jacket and the others that he didn't think too much of the gesture. "I want braaaaaaaiiiins! I...I mean to help!" Tarman exclaimed as Ghostface nodded and watched as a ax came crashing down towards the two of them.

"Sure sure! Help all you want!"

Ghostface shoved Tarman in the way of the incoming ax. The ax cracked the top of Tarman's skull open and most certainly hit his brain. Though given how Trioxin Zombies worked? Tarman continued to go on as if nothing happened! Lashing out with his hands, he gripped onto his attacker! He may have had an axe in his head but he wouldn't let this stop him! He was going to be useful!

"Quaint? You're one to talk." Dimaria cast a glance over the legion of knives, just waiting there. "Put away your children's toys, and just observe...how a true master goes to work." With a click of her teeth, her own time stopping ability activated. Age Seal, given from the God of Time himself. And in a blur, she was racing off, her sword lashing out to deal death blows to a massive horde of the monstrous things. Once she felt satisfied, she swaggered right up to Dio.

"Yes, that's right. Time for time itself to resume. Just one thing...don't you dare sully my world with your presence again. If you do...not even the lord of death would accept your corpse once I'm through with you."

With a click of teeth, she let time continue once more. She wore a smile on her face as she looked out over her handiwork, fully expecting a lot of them to just keel over.

psx-jojo-diosuper.gif

So, she too had the ability to move within his frozen time but manipulate it herself? All without any kind of aid from a Stand. At least not one that DIO could spot at any rate. That along with the child who could move her head to look at him aggravated the vampire! This was HIS world, HIS domain! Yet these heathens pranced about as if they had kind of right to this power like he did. He was DIO!

"Such bold threats, wench! When the time comes we shall see who will be standing and who will fall! But for now.."

DIO turned his attention to the various makeshift beasts this abomination of a girl had brought to stand before them. Such atrocious creatures weren't fit to stand in DIO's presence let alone lay a hand on them with their brutish weapons! The yellow aura from before flared around the stand-user as The World prepared for it's next move.

"Soon, you will all realize the folly of your actions. You'll see that they are USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, USELESS, UUUUUSLEEEEESSS!!!"

"It'll be alright soon... It'll all be alright... We're all going to be alright..."
"Ooh.."

Oh dear, it seemed like this girl was beginning to suffer some kind of breakdown. Or was at least close to suffering one due to the mantra chanting. Well, they couldn't have someone going crazy in their number could they? That'd risk slowing things down and the slower things got, the less time they had to set things right and save Halloween! Which is why Sam let out a snake-like hiss as he broke free from Clarith's hug.

Falling down onto his feet, Sam reached into his bag and pulled out what appeared to be a usual looking chocolate bar. But as with Sam, there was something more than what you saw on the first glance. Tearing open the top of the wrapper, Sam peeled it downwards and ripped off the top of the bar to reveal the razor blade hidden within.

Gently gripping onto Clarith's hand with his own free one, Sam watched as a spider skittered towards them with scalpel ready to strike! Without a care in the world, Sam waddled over and as the scalpel swung downward, it'd cut a wide swath across Sam's mask and pumpkin seeds fell onto the ground. Letting out a inhuman howl, Sam shoved the razor blade straight into the center of the spider. All the while, Clarith got a nice view of Sam's true face..

Eleven's attention was fully on Freddy. Thing is, when you've seen everything she has, fear isn't really an option in your brain anymore. She tore apart the creature she was afraid of piece by piece.

And this one was a lot smaller. She raised her hand, then tossed it to one side. As she did, the nightmarish creature dislodged itself from Jason.

Then she clapped her hands together, blood practically pouring from her nose at this point.

You can guess what happened then.

@Hana
Look out? Kanade was indeed looking out for herself, and stiffened as the spiders approached. What were these things? She found them... Creepier than the 'Deadites' earlier. Still, she couldn't let herself be scared, and the girl already had enough trouble displaying normal emotion anyway. Moving forward alongside Charlie, she attacked only to realize that her armblades felt... Duller than usual. The change was immediate in that the sonic blades didn't cut as easily through the spider, she could feel it in how she had to press down harder.

Oh. Her powers here were weakening, and with that came the weakening of Overdrive which had given her strength no little girl should have. What to do now? She was certainly capable of using hand-to-hand combat and she was experienced with close quarters, that wasn't something the Angel Player had given her artificially like her Guard Skills. Living through the 'life' she had in Afterlife had honed and sharpened her natural skill.

But how would it stand up against these things? Only one way to know. Not dismissing her Sonic Blades though she was keenly aware of their weakness, the girl blocked with the flats of them when it came to attacks from the spiders, deflecting them in a way similar to how the girl would have deflected bullets. If only she could use Distortion now, but she had a feeling even that wasn't going to be very helpful. Kanade narrowed her eyes, doing a similar move to Charlie and plunging a blade like a stake through the spider's mechanical bodies. "This is manageable," she muttered lowly, beginning a more tiresome way of finishing off these things.

After she had finished fending off most of the spiders close to herself, urging Charlie to do similarly, Kanade took a deep breathe, and one step forward... Only to feel her leg fold beneath her and bringing the girl down to the ground. In the heat of the battle the girl hadn't felt one of the spiders slice into her leg, behind her knee, and she stared at the blood dripping down and pooling beneath her. That was a lot of blood, though she usually go shot in the stomach, and not injured in the leg. Now this was going to trouble her movements. "Guard Skill: Distortion." An invisible barrier should help protect her from the spiders, but it could be weakened... She had to get up. If there was any pain at all, the girl certainly didn't show it, and moved to stand back up with difficulty. She tried to prop herself up with her arm, but now it left Charlie and her with one less fighter if she wasn't able to stand back up in time...

YoiQRB2.gif

What followed DIO's words was a rapid onslaught of punches thrown out by The World against Bonesaw's spiders and her patchwork grunts. This wretched girl's creations would fall before DIO!

"Right on both fronts. Impressive, for a blockhead. Yes we shall see what happens in the end. Now, however-" Her gaze hardened at the collection of monsters. "-the trash still needs to be disposed of." As she focused her magic...she came to the realization that it was being weakened. Slowly, bit by bit it was draining somehow. "Oh no you don't." Dimaria slowly shook her head, eyes blazing with anger. "You don't get to touch an ounce of my power. If you want it so bad, I will show it to you. I will scorch it right into whatever pathetic minds your decrepit brains grant you. The true power of one of the Emperor's twelve elite guards." The swordswoman closed her eyes and began to whisper softly to herself.

"Chronos...I have need of you."

The armor adorning one of her arms began to crack, fracturing wide open inch by inch...right up until the whole thing shattered into dust, fading in the gale force winds that projected outward as Dimaria's whole body began to glow blinding gold. When the light faded, she still stood there as straight as ever. But it really wasn't just Dimaria anymore.

QKfzRy0.png

"You thought to weaken the power of your superiors. That was a mistake." Two voices echoed as one. She, or rather, they counted on the massive boost in power to offset the weakening, throwing the scales back into equilibrium. Raising an outstretched palm, a ball of gold energy crackled to life. Once it grew large enough, a plethora of beams shot off from it, aimed at many of the abominations and intent to wipe them out completely.

David was still going, guns blazing, but he quickly realized that brute force wouldn't be enough... Seeing what those bigger, hulking creatures did to the vehicles they once had and well... How poor Ghostface had fared, being sent flying, he realized they'd need a strategy. Resisting the temptation to try and wrench that axe out of Tarman's head right now, David instead, tried to move within earshot of Ghostface, giving an effort to get their attention.

"We can't hold these things off forever... We have to... Figure out a way to take out their leaders..." He muttered, glancing towards the hulking creatures, then Bonesaw.

The bigger threats were pretty easily identified, but taking them out was another matter entirely... Hmm... Last time he was in a jam, he set the crooked man on fire thanks to some conveniently placed alcohol, and since he couldn't exactly push deadites off a ledge, an idea slowly began to form in his head.

"Hey... You don't happen to know where some alcohol is... Do you?" He asked Ghostface.

He had a lighter, and he had a few extra layers of clothes he could use for some makeshift fuses... All he really needed, was a bottle or two of alcohol, and he might just be able to get a few molotovs going. They were certainly not as good as a more powerfull explosive, but perhaps the fire they created by itself, might just be able to help thin the horde of creatures coming for them.

ARQjRe3.jpg

Gently gripping onto Clarith's hand with his own free one, Sam watched as a spider skittered towards them with scalpel ready to strike! Without a care in the world, Sam waddled over and as the scalpel swung downward, it'd cut a wide swath across Sam's mask and pumpkin seeds fell onto the ground. Letting out a inhuman howl, Sam shoved the razor blade straight into the center of the spider. All the while, Clarith got a nice view of Sam's true face..

"W... What are you doing?"

Clarith snapped out of her mental mantra to see that Sam had something to show her. What seemed to be candy at first appeared to be... a razor blade? She had no idea where he had gotten this, because it was generally unsafe for people to even have in the first place. Before she could try to take the razor blade away, Clarith stopped herself as Sam had tore through his mask and had killed a spider.

"..."

She couldn't really find the words to describe what Sam turned out to truly be. Sure, she had her share of strange non-human entities over in Evillious, but she had no idea that Sam was such a thing. Just the surprise of this development had distracted the woman from the fighting that had startled her from before.

Unfortunately, the one branded Tyrant didn't even really seem to possess the intelligence required to process Eleven's command, the PA system making her mimicked voice resound throughout the building. Her powers blasted away the various lower level attackers rather effortlessly though, as well as succeeding at preventing any real attacks from landing on her.

David would be unable to find anything in the environment to use properly as a weapon, nor would he really see an opening to jump into the fray.

As Michael Myers moved forward to stab Tyrant, the abomination simply touched the hulking man as the knife sunk into him, unable to inflict any damage. Instead, a cut appeared on Michael's body, his efforts only serving to damage himself.

The others managed to blow away the various spiders and patchwork excuses for human beings, DIO and Dimaria's assault outright obliterating just about all of them, while Kanade's barrier prevented any sideliners from attacking the more vulnerable of the group. It seemed like the group would easily fend off Bonesaw's assault, despite the S-level threat that Alexandria had assigned to her. Her large forces were being quickly destroyed, and the weakening effect on powers was weakening.

However, their seeming victory was short-lived.

Straight through the building came a woman covered in black and white stripes, as if imitating a zebra. Her speed was such that even the likes of DIO and Dimaria couldn't react, allowing her to land a crippling blow to each of them. Her fists struck out, incapacitating the two time manipulators with strikes that cracked like thunder. With the combination of the weakening Tyrant exuded and the strange-looking woman's power, neither had the chance to strike back.

Without saying a word, she then set her sights on the rest of the party, slowing down as the ones who could potentially stop her were put out of commission.

"Oh, Siberian! You've come!" Bonesaw chattered excitedly, clapping her hands together as the strange woman finally slowed down enough for her to see her.

The Siberian wasted no time after Bonesaw's greeting, immediately rushing around the battlefield. Once again, she wasn't even a blur on the battlefield, her movements completely unable to be tracked. Lower powered strikes were doled out to the rest of the group, rendering them all unconscious but alive as a gas began to spread throughout the building.

In an instant, the tide had completely shifted in the opposition's favor, the combination of the Siberian and the potent gas shutting out just about everyone inside the building. A few heroes of the Protectorate managed to protect themselves from the gas with masks and the like, only for the Siberian to shove her hands into their chests, ripping them open as easily as one tore the stuffing out of dolls.

Even Alexandria wasn't capable of overcoming the Siberian. Though the gas failed to impact her in any way despite no obvious way to resist it, the Siberian took the fight to the hero, slamming her into the ground with such an impact that all others in the area were blown away, Tyrant and Bonesaw included. Alexandria retaliated with a strong uppercut of her own, though despite its mountain-moving power it hardly even phased the striped woman.

The two titans duked it out in an earth-shaking duel, but while the Siberian took all of the attention, Bonesaw quickly got to work. Picking up the unconscious group that the Protectorate had called in, she quickly ran off with them in tow using her remaining army of spiders.

"So long, heroes! Better luck next time~" With a taunting farewell, she quickly began her escape, the Protectorate unable to chase her down with the Siberian presenting such a ridiculously powerful immediate threat. It would have been suicide to ignore her, but without those whom they'd called, how would they ever find the Necronomicon? Those...strange beings were the key to it all, after all.

Thus, without the ability to resist, the group was taken elsewhere.

When they woke up, their hands would be handcuffed, their place of residence a rather dark and damp place that contained all of them in a single room. The handcuffs weren't made from metal, though. Chains and restraints made of meat that one could only hope wasn't human tied their hands together, the stench unmistakably that of a corpse. Worse still, they'd feel that their powers had pretty much completely disappeared, regardless of their origin. It was as if they'd all been reduced to the level of a normal human while in containment.

Whatever the source of this weakening was, the group would notice four others chained up with them as well.

There wasn't too much in the containment room, as one would likely expect from this kind of place. However, they could hear a disturbingly sweet voice humming a soft tune in the distance, even though the lighting was barely enough to allow them to see each other. Aside from their hands, they were also free enough to move about.

There was a dirty journal on the ground as well as what appeared to be a defunct radio. One could investigate these if they wished, or simply ignore them and plan an escape.

Oooooh, her head.

Chun Li woke up and immediately wished she had one of her grandfathers hot pots right about now.

Because she had worked up an appetite and it didn't look like any of them were going to go anywhere, anytime soon. The hand cuffs she experimentally tugged, but they didn't seem to do much and she left it alone. It wouldn't impede her style in any way, not too much. That said, they seemed to have gained a few more people. One with a douche haircut and the other who looked like a K-Pop star.

Oh, and two new monsters.

She was used to it by now and would decide to make good use of her time, going to assist Eleven first as she called out.

As it turns out, the white-haired 'angel' didn't even get a chance to do little else aside from pick herself up off the ground. Her Distortion held back the insidious spiders, but as soon as Kanade was back on her own unsteady feet, stumbling forward slightly on one leg - something hit the back of her head and the girl blacked out, falling forward. The last sight she had before everything suddenly blinked into nothing was Charlie's panicked expression.

The capture of the group hadn't done much of anything to help Angel. She was still unconscious even as the rest of the others started easing back into the world of the living bit by bit, her leg needing serious attention by that point in time. While her face showed little discomfort despite her injury, it was apparent that it had taken a lot out of her, only the steady rise and fall of her chest telling her partner that she was still alive, or what passed for alive for someone like her.

"... Mapo tofu..." Sounds like someone was sleeptalking... Well, someone had to wake Kanade up at some point, right? And someone probably had to take a look at her leg considering the small puddles of red slowly building on the floor.

When Jacket awoke, the first thing he did was crack his neck.

After that, he tried to reach for his tape recorder, only to find that his hands were cuffed. Sighing, he stood up. Looking over his teammates. At Chun Li's question. He gave a thumbs up. That was until he noticed his surroundings shifted to his apartment. Or at least a version of it.

Infront of him sat someone very familiar.

A man that looked like Jacket in every way, including the Rooster Mask on his head. Only difference was that he was bloodied.

Jacket knew this man as Richard.

"From the looks of things. It seems you got your ass handed to you......Why is that? I'll tell you why. You haven't been embracing that inner beast within you completely. Infact, ever since you joined that gang of bank robbers, it seems like that part of you died and now you're just someone wearing a mask and robs banks."

"That's not who you are, and we both know it. You're someone who loves to inflict pain. To kill. You're a psychopath. So, in the near future. Rather than use none of your rage. Use all of it. It'll help. Trust me."

And like that, his surroundings changed back to where he was originally. He went over to Chun Li. Gesturing for her to reach into his jacket's inner pocket to find his tape recorder, as without it. He was essentially completely mute.

Meanwhile, he was thinking on Richard's words.

It had been years since he heard from him. Hell, Jacket thought that perhaps Richard had simply vanished from his mind. But now, it seemed that Richard has been watching everything. And he doesn't like what he sees.

He glanced around to see if his duffle bag was anywhere. Most likely stripped of weapons, but he hoped his masks were still there.

(Sort of like this but different given his hands are bound.)

Leaning up against one of the walls the male studied the group of people brought in. They were something else alright with quite a few looking like Halloween rejects. Needless to say, the male wasn't impressed at all. "Like the new digs...? Cause we'll all be bunking here for a long time..." the male spoke while still studying the group themselves. Some of them did seem capable, but given the situation it'd be difficult to mount any sort of escape.

"Hopefully this band of misfits makes for better company then the three that I got stuck in here with before hand..." He simply commented to himself before looking down at the ground. Normally he would simply try and kick his way out of a bad situation but something didn't feel right about all of this. He felt weaker for some reason and couldn't quite explain it.

82Fwqqs.png

At the sound of the others speaking and walking about, Yurick shifted slightly with a grunt. His head lifted as his singular eye opened and took a glance around the room at those present. So, there were more prisoners present it seemed. Great.

How many times has he been held captive now in his lifetime? Two? Three? Man, that sucked.

With a huff he turned his head to look at his partner to see if they were relatively unharmed.

If she had her powers, that radio could have been very valuable. As it stood, El was nearly completely out of her depth. She was clever, but she also was almost totally socially withdrawn.

Eleven sat there considering her next move. She finally decided that the journal was the best move. She had no illusions that a captor would be so sloppy as to leave behind clues to defeat them, but that's what she looked for anyway.

Snapping awake in a sudden blur of motion, Dimaria took several heaving breaths before her pulse calmed down, adrenaline fading. The fight was long over, from the looks of their current predicament. Blankly she stared over at the handcuffs binding her, the clear stench of rotting flesh wafting into her nose...but she barely reacted. Not even a flinch. Just an empty thousand-yard stare, utterly unfocused on the room they were in.

"What...what kind of monster..." She murmured to herself. A flurry of strikes that impacted with enough force to defeat a god. And not just any god, the god of time. Unlike the god of death, time had no limitations. Death could kill anything with life but could do nothing to things that have no life. Time, however, affects all things. Living, dead, inanimate objects. Even when she was fused with Chronos, still she could not even react to the blows. And now it was just her, drained completely of magic power with all the bruises to show for it. Bleeding and battered.

"She...knocked the god right out of me." Dimaria exhaled slowly, lost in her thoughts. The very idea of it sent shivers up her spine.

"Not again... "

Clarith had recovered to see that she was within a holding cell of some kind. Just like how the village had treated her, thinking her to be a terrible demon living amongst them. When it came to seeing what was binding her hands together, the Netsuma woman gagged at the sight... and fainted right on the spot.

Clearly she didn't take any of this too well.

Fortunately for him, his duffel bag was laying around in a corner, apparently with all of its contents intact if he managed to open it without using his hands. It seemed Bonesaw hadn't cared enough to remove its contents. Either she was stupid, overconfident, or perhaps she'd actually tinkered with them?

As one might have expected, there weren't exactly any directions for something like "Beat Bonesaw in 5 easy steps" but what she would read in there were a few anatomical sketches and sketches of what seemed to be the basis of her mechanical spiders. The drawings were rather detailed, probably more detailed than one might have wanted to see. The anatomy sketches didn't seem to match anything they'd seen from her, the details seeming to describe that of the human brain.

The sketches of the spiders showed that they were entirely mechanical unlike many of her other, more abominable creations. They were outfitted with various medical tools, seeming to be more suited to being medical assistants than combatants despite their usage in the previous fight.

It didn't seem pertinent to escaping or fighting really, but if Eleven turned to the very end, she'd see a message written on the last page in handwriting different from the rest of it.

"Hang tight, and don't forget, what do you chew meat with?"

What could that mean?

Meanwhile, the incessant humming took a brief pause to chuckle as Dimaria despaired.

Seeming to ignore or not care about the look Yurick gave him Mercury himself while looking at the ground had looked over to his own legs. Perhaps since they were prosthetic then maybe.... Just then his train of thought was interrupted by hearing the voice that was once humming chuckle for a moment. "Wish that damn thing would just shut up already." Mercury spoke not directed to anyone in particular as he went back to thinking.

"YAH!"

Ash cried as he swung his chainsaw and sparks were sent flying as the teeth of the saw scratched against Christine's passenger door. The aging demon hunter had narrowly avoided becoming roadkill but things weren't looking any easier. Freddy Krueger had shifted his car into some kind of demonically possessed monstrosity. Sooner or later, he'd run out of energy and he wouldn't be able to dodge anymore. Which is why Ash had another idea up his sleeve.

As Christine revved up it's wheels, it charged at Ash who aimed his boomstick and fired! The shots punctured one of Christine's tires as she skidded past Ash. The smoke that had been continuously ebbing out from Christine's grill finally came to a stop. The headlights flicked off and it seemed like Ash's strategy had won him the day. Keeping his boomstick at the ready, Ash slowly stepped over towards the car and nudged the passenger door with his gun.

The gun brushed up against the door without any trouble. Grinning at his perceived success, Ash sheathed the boomstick and pulled open the door. This still wasn't his car. But nothing a little sprucing up couldn't fix. Plus, they'd have a ride that didn't belong to any of these superpowered weirdos. As Ash pulled the door open however, he slipped his left arm in-chainsaw first.

At that very moment, the radio began to play once more.

"Here's my story, it's sad but true
It's about a girl that I once knew.
She took my love then ran around
With every single guy in town!"

The damn car had been playing possum to lure him in! But before Ash could pull his arm back, the door swung shut and closed right on Ash's wrist! Collapsing to a knee as he clawed desperately at the door to try and free his wrist, Ash noticed the smoke returning. Only this time it was there to be more than menacing. It was showing Ash exactly what he was dealing with!

YaZcvjo.jpg

The image the smoke had made didn't look like any deadite, Ash had ever encountered before. But that's what made this whole thing even scarier. What kind of beast had Krueger pulled from the pits of Hell to take over his car? More importantly, how did the sucker still have this much gas left in it!? Ash's face was contorted in agony as Christine raced around the place and dragged the hapless hero around like a ragdoll!

"I-I KNOW YOU'RE IN THERE SOMEWHERE, CAR! YOU CAN FIGHT OFF THIS DEMON SHITHEAD!" Ash yelped as the car briefly paused as if to consider this. Ash really didn't think his car had any kind of life to it before getting possessed by a demon. But hey if it stopped this thing from whipping him all over the goddamn place and getting him even further soaked in the blood of his enemies then sure, he'd take it.

...Until he revved up his chainsaw that is! The saw's teeth quickly tore into Christine's nice leather seats as the car's horn beeped. As if to indicate how angered the demon within the car's frame was by Ash's deceitful move! The car started once again and gave a sharp turn. Sending Ash flying while keeping the chainsaw within Christine.

kd8K3CG.png

"AAAAAAAGH! I NEED THAT!"

But Ash's pleas fell on deaf ears as nobody came to his rescue upon hm soaring through the air. Then the abrupt crash as he hit the ground and skidded across the floor. With his chainsaw in Christine, this meant Ash was down a weapon and an impromptu limb. Shakily rising to his feet, Ash held up his hands-or rather hand and stump.

He might have still had his boomstick but as Christine had moved to throw him away, Ash noticed that the damage to her tire had cleared up. So he could have fired as many times as he'd like, he would have only been wasting ammo.

0skiN61.jpg

"Okay, I took your seats and your tire. In return, you took my sweet-ass chainsaw. I can safely say that I think we're even. Now, how about you not run me over and we can talk this out? Car-to-man, man-to-car. I'm sure we could figure something out!" Ash stated as sweat rolled down his brow. He had already seen dear old Daddy Williams get struck by a car and not make it through. He didn't want to be dragged under the same road!

But Christine was in anything but a listening mood! The car charged forward and our hero's fate seemed to be sealed! Was this really how Ashley J. Williams would go down?!

*THUMP*

As it turns out it was! Ash flew over the front of the car as it crashed into him. Thankfully, unlike his dad however, Ash's grey matter was still right where it belonged. But his shotgun had been knocked away and he was in quite the amount of pain. Understandable coming from being struck by a demonic car but glancing over as Christine seemed to have stopped after the first hit, Ash cried out mockingly.

"WHAT? NOT GONNA FINISH THE JOB? I THINK YOU'VE ALREADY CRACKED MY DENTURES. C'MON, GO INTO REVERSE AND-" Ash was suddenly cut off as he felt something smash into his stomach. The demon killer's eyes widened before his head slumped against the ground. Ash had taken his fair share of low blows throughout this battle. But the worst had to have been losing his car to the demons.

wSG1dIu.jpg

Well, that and being knocked out by a walking zebra. Or whatever that'd been.

Waking up hadn't been the most pleasurable experience for Ash either. Waking up and seeing that his stump and other hand were shackled together by handcuffs made out of flesh, Ash couldn't help but think that maybe he'd have been better off getting crushed under Christine's wheels. Or well that's what Ash would have thought if Freddy hadn't popped up with his burnt mug.
"She...knocked the god right out of me." Dimaria exhaled slowly, lost in her thoughts. The very idea of it sent shivers up her spine.
fisI1hT.jpg

Ash could barely see what was in front of him, let alone see Dimaria in such a downer mood. She'd be the first woman to grab his balls in months! Granted, she damn near tore them off but it was the thought that counted. So, to see her down in the dumps was almost heart-wrenching. If they couldn't depend on their loudest and brass members to lead the charge against these evil assholes then who could they root for?

"Alright, alright. I'm not gonna pretend like I know jack or shit about what you're talking about. But 'God' isn't all it's cracked up to be. I don't know what the hell did us in and got us stuck here but it's certainly not strong enough to take on God and even if it is? Then we're still going to find a way to kick it's ass and send it crying home to Mama." Ash glanced around and squinted his eyes a little.

Nope, still couldn't make out shit.

"...Well, you guys will. I need to get my car back from the forces of darkness."

Black.

That's all Jason could see on account of a certain dream demon gouging out his eyes. As Eleven had gone to work on the FredSpider, it fell back screaming in agony. Agony that Jason wished he could have been causing! But Jason's ears worked just fine and he could hear the screams turn into laughter. With his free hand clutching at his eyes to try and stem the flow of blood oozing down the front of the mask, Jason managed to make out a blurry image of what he assumed was Freddy in person!

The dream demon wasn't unfamiliar with the book, no sir. Kruger had his eyes on the Necronomicon for some time! The more time he spent with it, the stronger he got! Until he reached the the point where he could use his dream powers in the real world and use them he did! From bringing Ash's car to life to morphing into one of Bonesaw's spiders, this was just a taste of what the demon offered.

UzzW3eb.jpg

"TIme's up, Hockey Puck!" The Fred-Spider proclaimed as it's mangled body shifted into the Springwood Slasher himself. This time he'd make sure Jason never pestered him again! Raising his claw, Freddy prepared to strike only to pause as he looked over his shoulder and saw Dimaria and DIO falling like flies. Welp, guess the time for fun was over if she was here. Lowering his claw, Freddy picked up Jason's machete and looked it over.

"You know we've been through an awful lot, Voorhees. You ripped my arm off and stabbed me with it, sliced my head in two, punched a hole through me. So much to give, yet so little to take. Why don't we fix that? Right...Now!"

Driving the machete deep into Jason's sternum, Freddy paused as he felt the blade rip into Jason's heart. Blood spurted from Jason's mouth and down his already soaked shirt as Freddy grinned at his handiwork. The undead behemoth was now a mess of blood and wounds! Turning his back to Jason, Freddy waved his claws at him. "Nighty night, Jason!~ Hahahahah!"

In truth the eye-gouging and stabbing hadn't been enough to bring Jason down. Ripping the machete out of his chest and his heart, the zombie swung blindly at where he thought Freddy was. But as Siberian cracked him across the head, Jason crashed to the ground in a pile of blood. There was always someone stronger after all.

But as Jason finally came to however, his eyes still hadn't healed yet and more importantly, he heard new voices...

Michael was quite confused as blood began pouring out of a fresh stab wound on his chest. Hadn't he stabbed this creature for sure? Stumbling back, the scalpel fell from Michael's hand as he clutched at the wound and pulled his hand up. He wasn't one to cry out in pain or even acknowledge it for the most part. How this came to be no one quite understood. It's part of why Michael was referred to as 'The Bogeeyman.'

But he wouldn't fall like this! Nobody could stop the Shape. Clenching his hand into a fist, Michael reared it back to try and strike Tyrant.

Just then Michael felt something slug him right in the stomach. Never had Michael faced someone as strong as him. Or in this case in a league beyond his! The blow had been so strong that it sent Michael stumbling back as he collapsed onto his back. He'd been shot, stabbed, set ablaze, shot into a mine.

Yet it was when he had encountered this group, he'd finally met his match. Was this a sign of things to come? Michael didn't quite know for sure and his blurring vision didn't make it any easier. As the killer's eyes finally closed, he'd wake up to find himself stuck within the dark. Figures, he supposed. He had escaped one confined area meant to contain him. But that's where this girl was confused...

"BRAAAAAAAAAAINSSSSS!"

Taman hadn't wished to be a bother to anyone. Hell, he'd even tried helping by full-on taking an axe to the cranium. But even he had to deal with pain, which in his came in the form of decomposition. He had gone for so long without eating brains! How could he expected to sit back and relax while all this happened?! As he pulle his hands, Tarman noticed they were stuck together by some very grotesque looking handcuffs.

"Brains!" Biting into the cuffs, Tarman frowned as he pulled his teeth back.

"Eughhh....This tastes terrible.."

They may have enticed him like brains but it tasted like biting into another zombie. Disgusting and making Tarman wish he had a bottle of mouthwash. Maybe someone here would be nice enough to let him eat their brains. Like that person in the Halloween costume who used him as a shield. Shambling around, Tarman stopped once he appeared to bump into said person. They had the boots, the black robe. All he had to do now was dig in!

But a sharp elbow to the gut followed by a kick to the thigh shot the wind out of that plan. Tarman groaned as he fell onto his rear and scrambled away from Ghostface. Even after all he'd done for this person and they wouldn't even let him eat their brains. Well, he knew someone who would understand! His best friend, Jacket!

Having avoided falling into the same trap that Charlie had with Tarman not too long ago, Ghostface had removed their mask as it was simply getting to be a bit much. Wearing the mask for so long and having to smell all this rotting flesh? Wasn't exactly the most pleasurable of scents. But in doing so, those who could get a good look at Ghostface would have seen them for who they truly were:

It wasn't through peer pressure or anything of that nature that provoked Jill Roberts into adopting the Ghostface moniker. Having heard of the popularity her cousin Sidney got after dealing with the past Ghostface Killers, Jill wanted it all for herself! However, instead of winning fame and fortune, she ended up with a bunch of actual supernatural killers and some dick who thought he knew horror better than her.

"So, anyone got a plan for getting out of here? I'm all ears."

Charlie had been quiet since ending up with the others in this cell. His hand was still acting up and clenching when Charlie didn' want it to clench. Almost as if it had a mind of it's own or something but that'd be ridiculous even for this group's standards, right? Slumping up against a wall, Charlie combed his hands through his hair and immediately regretted it. The rancid smell of human flesh permeated his nostrils and the teen almost lost his lunch.

But before he could cough, he noticed blood from Kanade. The same girl who had made sure he didn't bite the big one when fighting the spiders or the deadites. Making his way over towards her, Charlie was in a panic. What was he supposed to do?! He didn't know the first thing about first aid!

"C'mon Angel! You're already dead, right?! You can't die again!"

Ripping off part of his pant leg which was surprisingly easy thanks to his 'other' hand, Charlie wrapped the fabric around Angel's wound. It wasn't anything fancy and he'd probably have to see about getting someone more experienced in this to look at it. But that's when Charlie heard someone approach from behind. Looking over his shoulder, Charlie's eyes widened.

"Are you the protector of this girl, boy? If so then stand aside. I wish to go ahead and take what is mine."

DIO proclaimed as Charlie stood his ground. What the hell was this guy talking about?! Annoyed by Charlie's seeming refusal to stand down, DIO gripped the boy by the collar of his shirt and lifted him off his feet.

"Have you seen the power that we face, boy? The power that's strong enough to bring down even I, DIO?? I along with the rest f you can feel myself growing weaker but I refuse to accept it! I heard from this girl that she was an angel! Who knows what I could gain from her blood? Perhaps, the power needed to bring down those who stand in my way! Now, stand aside!" DIO ordered but Charlie was adamant in his refusal! Drawing a cross, he held it out towards DIO who frowned at the gesture.

"Clever.." The vampire muttered sarcastically. DIO reached forward and the cross suddenly went ablaze in Charlie's hands. Gripping onto the cross, DIO snapped it in two before flinging the charred shards of wood aside as he dropped Charlie to the ground. Even in his weakened state, murdering this child would have been simple enough. But it'd likely mean he'd have to dispose of the others as well and with Dimaria, he'd prefer to do that one-on-one. So, for now he'd allow Charlie to keep living...For however long that lasted.

Charlie for his part was mortified at the idea of dealing with yet another vampire. Only this one brushed off Charlie's weapons as if they were nothing to him. But it was no matter. He may have been handcuffed and his hand may have been messed up. But he would protect Angel with his life!

@Hana

"Depends if they're the ones to get us outta this deep shit..."

A new voice broke into the room as the figure cloaked in a duster spoke up. His voice sounded slightly demonic with a hint of a Southern twang to it as he rose up to his full height. Not as tall as Pumpkinhead but still taller than Michael and Jason. Course he'd been around longer than all three of them. As far back as biblical times a matter of fact. He had plenty of times since then but the one that stuck the most?

The Creeper.

Nobody knew where he came from or how he ended up in his current state. But one thing was for sure, he was as pissed off as the rest about it. He'd been captured before, strung up like some kind of morbid attraction. Now, he traded being hung on a wall to sharing a cell with a bunch of strangers. Though, suppose it could have been worse. He could have been decomposing like the handcuffs that bound him.

"What about you, Cap'n?" The Creeper asked the man who seemed to be veiled in shadows as he stood next to Yurick. This figure was none other than Captain Blake! An illustrious pirate who hailed from what would eventually become California but who had met his end due to the greed of others. Now, it was thanks to Bonesaw's interest in the Book of the Dead that his spirit had risen up and had found himself locked up with all the rest...
