"...!"

Sam blinked as he felt Clarith's grip tighten. It seemed this human in particular had taken a liking to him! Not that Sam particularly minded. Halloween season was a great time to make friends! Sam only wished it didn't have to take something like this to bring people together! He'd lean over and hugged Clarith's waist however as he glanced up at her.

"Heh..."

@Gummi Bunnies
David Hoover

@The Wanderer @Ringmaster @C.T. @Kaykay @Chewy Rabbits @Michale CS

David managed to give Clarith a warm, reassuring smile... Despite him feeling a little, out of place in this crowd. Though there was an obvious dynamic here, it was at least obvious that the folks here were onboard. He cringed a little when he saw Ash er, get a very hands on experience of the "nutcracker", but quickly directed his thoughts towards something more productive.

It looks like he was taking transportation into consideration... He glanced around at Sam, then Clarith, then Ghostface, before clearing his throat a little.

"I... Have a car." He said quietly.

Though it was nothing special, he figured it would hold around four people, including himself. Well, five, if they were squeezed in, but, the latter seemed like an bad idea, considering that they would likely run into a situation where they might have to get out of the car, as fast as possible... And that sort of thing would be greatly hindered if the passengers in the back had to wiggle their way out of their seats.

Jacket looked between Ash and David.

Wondering who he should ride with. On one hand, Ash was experienced with this things. And Jacket could sense that Ash was retro. Something he liked. For, despite him liking most of the advancements in tech. He disliked most of the songs from the current generation. There were a few he liked, but they didn't have that 80s feel to them.

But on the other hand, Ash did say Tarman couldn't ride with, as due to his rotting flesh.

And, Jacket didn't exactly feel okay with just leaving Tarman alone with strangers. As, he didn't want any accidents to occur between with party.

That was when an idea popped into his head.

Gesturing for David and Ash to walk to him.

Once the two of them were close enough. He pressed a button on his tape recorder. "-vote-who-joins-your car!"

The idea came from vague memories of gym where people picked teams.

She wasn't expecting this, to see that Sam had warmed up to her and suddenly gave her a hug out of nowhere. Clarith wasn't exactly sure on what she did to garner his attention like this, but she supposed that her worry for him earlier had been taken as a friendly action towards him. Usually people had called her too worrisome and made herself more vulnerable when she worried for a single person too much, but to see that it was doing more good than annoyance as those other villagers had taken it to be, it warmed her empty heart a bit.

So, Clarith gave another smile over to Sam, and while it may seem strange to think of this to be another friendship of hers, she wouldn't be bothered by it too much. In a crowd full of different people all around, it wasn't too odd to think that way. It wasn't like they'll be similar or considered "normal" to have friendships.

However, she rose an eyebrow when one of them had suggested something in relation to how they would figure out transportation...

David blinked, for the moment, deciding to address Clarith's request... Well, how the heck was he supposed to explain a car? Well, without using very sciency stuff, he might be able to come up with something.

"It's like a... Carriage that moves without horses." He said... Well, that was a terrible explanation.

Hopefully Clarith would understand when she saw one in motion, but, for now... This was the best explanation he could manage for now. Though as soon as he saw Jacket signalling to him, he slowly inched towards him, fortunately not too far from Clarith or the others. The suggestion to vote for who rides in whos car seemed like a good idea, and so, David nodded a little, but then he paused, glancing over at Clarith, then Sam, then Ghost-face again.

He didn't say anything just yet, since he didn't want to just leave out others that may also want a ride, but it seemed he had a rough decision made already.

(But that doesn't mean that tar-man couldn't try riding on the roof or something, that and there was prooobably room for one more in the back.)

An army of the dead?

Didn't sound all that tough to Jacket.

The one thing that spooked him was, could this 'force' take over anyone? Especially Jason. After what had occurred between Jason and Ash. Jacket personally didn't want to go toe to toe with the slasher.

Suddenly a new thought came to mind. Well, new thoughts. One was: Was there a Mike's Pizzeria nearby? He loved their thin crust. Second thought was: What would be done for transport? Like Scooby Doo it, and hope into one vehicle? Or convoy?

Holding up his tape recorder. He decided to ask the second thought/question.

"-s what will-Be-Done-For-Transportation-" He hoped either Ash or Alexandria would understand his question.

The pizza would have to wait.

"If you do not possess adequate self-motorization, then arrangements shall be made. We can lend you a van of some sort. One that will fit the whole lot of you," she added as she looked over the size of the group. Over a dozen of them in all. Whether they ended up riding in Ash or David's cars or asked the Protectorate for vehicles, it would end up not mattering in the slightest.

Sirens began to wail and red lights flashed, drowning out any conversations and talking going on between people in the building. The building was state of the art protection in a city that had been assaulted by countless threats and had seen it through them all without crumbling.

So when alarms rang, something was going quite wrong.

"Alexandria!" A blonde girl, about 12 years old and wearing green body armor and a helmet, approached the second in command of the Protectorate.

"Vista, was it? What's going on here?"

"Some weird zombie things are banging at the front door!"

Though it wasn't apparent from the inside thanks to the aforementioned protections drowning out even the noise, there was a group of rather awful looking human-like creatures outside, banging on the door like Vista had said.

pit_deadite_2.jpg

A chorus of low-pitched groaning could be heard slightly even from inside as the things continued to advance, their numbers only increasing with every passing moment. It was like a gate had been opened, and these things were waiting on the other side. The young girl called Vista extended her hand out towards them, as if reaching for them.

Before everyone's eyes, space would begin to warp. The distance between the deadites and the building widened and widened, their slow gaits not nearly fast enough to make any notable distance. Despite their appearances, it seemed even the 12 year old could pretty much handle them. But then suddenly, someone was gripping the young girl's shoulder. His grip was so tight she shrieked loudly.

Grabbing the girl was a large, muscled man, covered with scars and holding a two-handed axe in his other hand. But from anyone who could see his backside, they'd also see what appeared to be a tumor-like growth sprouting from the back of his head. Except, upon closer inspection, it would seem to be a human head with prominently Asian features, its mouth perennially opening and closing ever so slightly, as if it were still breathing.

And with his appearance, the girl's warping of space completely vanished, the deadites once again close to the door. But it wasn't just them.

Behind the crazed zombies was an incredibly massive man, more neanderthal than modern human. A dark mop of hair swept over his eyes, his almost comically large hands and jaw making it look even more ridiculous. "Tyrant" was tattooed across his chest. But within those oversized hands were the remains of Ash's and David's cars.

The crushed heaps of metal flew straight through into the door of the building, exploding on contact. The assaulting forces seemed determined to break through with any method possible.

Alexandria sprung into action, only for one similar looking to the one gripping Vista to confront her, as well as the rest of the people in the building. In other words, quite a large number of the strange patchwork job of a man. One for each person there. An entire army of him.

Soon enough, even the building of the Protectorate couldn't whether the onslaught, the deadites, huge man, and other horrific shapes that one could just barely call human forced their way through. The safeguard of the city was completely under siege, and its walls had fallen. Pumpkinhead had suffered a direct hit by a thrown car, knocking the eight foot tall creature out.

And riding atop one of the ridiculously large men was a young girl.

Jacket looked at the assembled horde.

At first, if someone looked at him, they would think underneath the mask he was shocked and frozen with fear.

But in reality, Jacket was thinking of a way to help lessen the numbers of these "deadites."

Setting his duffle bag on the ground, he opened it up. Pulling out a handgun and a few clips. Holding up his tape recorder, he pressed. "-catch-" He threw the handgun to David, with the ammo, hoping he would catch the gun and ammo. And that he knew how to use it.

He reached back into his duffle bag once more. Pulling out a slim metal baseball bat. After which, he zipped up his duffle bag. Standing up, readying his bat. A certain soundtrack playing in his mind.

Charlie and the rest of the group didn't even get one word in about their travel arrangements when all hell broke loose. But considering they were brought here to fight those things, Kanade was nonplussed, and readied herself to tear into the horde. With only a look at her charge - as she had somehow started associating with Charlie - she muttered softly, "Please stay behind me."

She was never one for words, and... While she understood and read English well, she wasn't very good at speaking it. Charlie must have noticed by now the accent lining her voice, and hopefully he knew that was why she didn't speak to him at all as she dashed forward.
kanade4.gif

The deceased girl would then charge right into the oncoming deadites bearing one arm blade, not about to give the one facing her first any chance to harm her or Charlie. If she successfully maimed that one, she would then go for the one going after Charlie. And so on.

"Hello, everyone! What do you guys think of my work?"
"First impressions?" Her eyes drifted from left to right among the massive horde. "Not great. Calling it trashy would be an insult to trash. An utter affront to the eyes. I suppose it falls to us to clear out some of this horde of abominations, doesn't it? Very well." She strode over to her blade resting in the ground and with one motion, pulled it free.

"This is going to be fun." She grinned widely, her teeth clicking together.

And from everyone else's perspective, monster and tenuous ally alike, Dimaria seemed to have vanished from sight. Until the next moment, where she greeted one of the large, patchwork men with a teasing "Hello there." from behind him. Right before she sought to drive her blade all the way through, intent on splitting him in two.

Deep breath. Inhale...Exhale.

This was what she was here for, why she had joined up in the first place. And while her allies seemed unbalanced, unsound of mind or just plain crazy, they were all here to help in one form or another. That was enough to prompt her to bring her fists and feet to their aide and shifting to a preparatory pose, her hands began to flow in the signature style of her grandfather and honed by her own experience. Electricity crackled around her limbs and with a wild cry, she charged right in the midst of the horde. Fists flying and legs swinging as she moved without mercy, kicking and punching without holding back.

And once in the center of them all....

David had a feeling something had gone terribly wrong when alarms started blaring... And then monsters began to attack, oh how he wished he had a ranged weapon with him right now, but he was dead out of luck in that category. All he was armed with was a puny little fruit knife, and to make matters worse, it would appear that there weren't just monsters about his size either... There were also much bigger, muscle bound creatures going after the heavier hitters in their group.

"I... I can't just let these things take this place over... Just like that..." He muttered, but then... What would he do?

After a moment of thinking, David caught the weapon Jacket had tossed him, he nodded a little... Silently thanking him, looks like with a little range between him and his foes, he would be able to do some more damage. Carefully raising his weapon, he aimed to take down as many of the creatures around him, for now, he was keeping tabs on the bigger creatures, trying to guage if they had any weaknesses he could exploit.

"Oh gods..."

Clarith couldn't really tell on how bad this was as deadites and other monsters charged into what she thought to be some form of safe haven. However, she was certain that this wasn't going to be good for any of them if not dealt with soon enough. Even so, Clarith strayed away from the conflict, not wishing to be face to face with any of these threats. Out of self defense, Clarith held Sam close to her, hoping that this would be over soon.

"What? Either you ride with me or you don't!"

Ash exclaimed at the idea of people picking between either him or David. Though much to Ash's horror, there would no longer be any debate on that matter! But not because the group had found alternative sources or anything like that. Rather his car was flung straight through the air, smashing Pumpkinhead right in the face. The demon screeched as he toppled onto his back with the car falling off to the side looking as wrecked as a car could look. Blood dripped from Pumpkinhead's upper torso/face but if one looked closely they'd be able to tell that the demon was still breathing!

"MY CAR! MY DELTA! I'VE HAD THAT BABY SINCE I WAS DOING LILLIAN PENDEGRASS BACK IN HIGH SCHOOL!!" Ash roared in fury as he turned towards the swarm of deadites that had poured in alongside Bonesaw's own creations. Although the Protectorate knew Bonesaw and the Slaughterhouse 9, Ash had more of a personal vendetta with the twisted girl. Not only had she stolen the book from him and gotten him all mixed up in this nonsense again, she'd just wrecked his prized possession!

Oh, she also murdered the whole of the trailer park that he lived in and turned them into some kind of abomination. One that he had to chop up bit by bit while she skipped and hopped off with the Necronomicon. But that wasn't enough! She had to attack everything Ash loved and cared about!

Well, he'd done enough running! With thirty years of experience behind him, he was going to take Bonesaw and her creepy lil cronies down and get that goddamn book back!

tBXIJ47.jpg

"Make em as big as you want. I'll bring em down to size! YAAAAAAAAH!"

Pulling the cord on his chainsaw, Ash charged forward into the horde of Deadites. Some of them wielding rather primitive weaponry and others straight up digging at Ash with their hands and teeth. Given the usual amount of strength a deadite possessed that was deadly enough. But when you dealt with them for as long as Ash had? This wasn't deadly baby, this was routine!

Jason hadn't been all that alarmed as the Deadites/Bonesaw's monsters came charging in. He was already well acquainted with Deadites, in fact he was one! Not that it really mattered one way or the other to the serial killer. Whether he was human, zombie, demon, cyborg, or whatever else, he knew he had one purpose and he'd see it through to it's end: To kill all sinners just like his mother wanted him too.

Which is why Jason drew his machete and stood by Eleven's side as a crowd of Deadites surrounded the two and one of them grinned at Jason with a demented look on their face. "WE REMEMBER YOU! YES, YES, YOU AND THE BURNT ONE! YOU WERE WITH US! YOU'RE ONE OF US! WE WERE GOING TO MAKE THE TWO OF YOU SUFFER! HAHAHAAH!"

The deadite cackled before Jason finally stepped forward and swung his machete downward. Cleaving right through skull, grey matter and whatever else lay in the way of his blade before coming out at the deadite's chin.

Pushing the corpse over with a delicate poke from his index finger, Jason turned towards the remaining deadites. He did remember them talking quite a lot while he was trapped with them. But it never really bothered the killer too much. After all, he was used to his victims screaming their heads off before he went in for the kill.

What would a little insane ranting and raving really do? As another deadite lunged for Jason, the zombie gripped it by the leg and whipped it against the floor like a demonic ragdoll. Not stopping until the deadite's skull was a bloody paste on the floor, Jason let the corpse drop before turning towards the others who seemed much more hesitant in taking him on now.

"S-STAY BACK! YOU'RE ONE OF US, ONE OF US! WHY FIGHT US? JOOOOOOIN USSSS-URGK" The deadite was abrputly cut off as Jason smashed his fist right through the demon's head and out the back of his skull. With his fist still wedged in the other's skull, Jason turned towards the survivor with his machete raised.

Well, that was certainly quite the interesting sight. Michael didn't quite understand how Chun Li was capable of doing half of what she'd just done but he supposed it didn't really matter.

These creatures were upon them and they were in his way. Calmly stepping forward, Michael reached out and gripping a deadite by the head, he swiftly twisted it to the side. Tossing the body down beside him as he walked, he drew his kitchen knife and looked it over.

Wasn't exactly a weapon with much range on it and while his strength meant one-on-one these creatures stood no chance. But glancing at approaching deadites, an idea came to mind. Tucking his knife away, Michael grabbed a deadite's right arm and ripped it straight off the joint. There, now he could have all the reach he'd ever need as he swung the arm like a bat while trying to make his way towards Chun Li.

Tarman was at a loss of what to do! These seemed like his people! They had rotting flesh like him, gnarled and twisted teeth like him, wide and crazy eyes! Some of them might as well have been zombies if not by name! But then Tarman had his loyalties to his friends like Jacket! Clenching his hands into fists, Tarman shambled towards the nearest deadite and sunk his teeth into the skull. The deadite was rather confused and roughly shoved Tarman off even as rotting grey matter leaked out from the crack in it's skull.

"LITTLE ZOMBIE, LITTLE ZOMBIE! QUIT BITING MY HEAD! YOU CAN'T KILL WHAT'S ALREADY DEAD!"

"Oh..."

Well, Tarman supposed that made some kinda sense. But while he suffered through decomposition and could feel it eating away at him, didn't seem to be the same with these deadites!

@The Wanderer
"I... I can't just let these things take this place over... Just like that..." He muttered, but then... What would he do?

After a moment of thinking, David drew his fruit knife, deciding to use the trusty tool to take a stand against the horde of monsters... There was one for each of them, and so, he figured he would aim to strike the one closest to him. His tactics were not unlike those he used against the Crooked Man... Fight evasively; get a few hits in, evade... Wait for the right moment to strike again, rinse and repeat. He just hoped that these creatures were at least somewhat susceptible to a similar strategy.

What the hell was that idiot doing? Ash had a chainsaw, Jason had a machete and while Michael's knife wasn't too impressive? At least he had the strength to rip off someone's arm if they needed it. This guy only seemed to have a pistol and a fruit knife. Well, not like they were packing much better. Drawing a pistol in their right hand and a hunting knife in the other, Ghostface opened fire. They knew that they certainly wouldn't do too well in a straight up fight against these things. But who ever said about horror villains needing to play fair?

"Having fun?"

Ghostface called out to David as they capped a deadite right in the noggin as it drew too close. Obviously, the costume also wasn't the best thing to fight in but wasn't like they could go for a costume change in the middle of combat. Swinging the knife full force, Ghostface drove it right into the chest of an approaching deadite.

Which didn't seem to do much beyond annoying the creature as it picked up Ghostface and hurled them towards David. "AAAAH!" Ghostface cried out as they sailed through the horde and through the air. Damn it, they were supposed to be the expert on dealing with this kinda shit!

@york
ImTS9jN.jpg

Was this seriously happening right now? Almost minutes after a possessed sentient zombie almost gulps down his brains, a whole horde of demonically possessed corpses burst in alongside the girl they were apparently all gathered to fight? On one hand Charlie appreciated the enemy being right there to take down. The only obstacle however-and it was a big one!-was that he couldn't do shit to help! Sure, Jason and Michael had their strength, Tarman had his durability, Ghostface may have been annoying but at least they had a gun. What the heck did Charlie have? Some stakes, holy water, and crosses!

"You can't just start fighting these..." Charlie stopped as he watched Angel cut into the Deadite Horde. This girl who had gone by Angel only continued to further surprise him. How was it that she moved so nimbly yet managed to deliver such death to these things? Charlie was so caught up in it that he almost didn't hear footsteps coming up behind him.

The key word there being almost.

"Not this time, bastard!" Charlie exclaimed as he turned and stabbed a stake right into a deadite's chest. Blinking as the stake entered it's sternum, the deadite kept coming with a grin on it's face. "WE'LL SWALLOW YOUR SOUL!"

"Swallow this!"

Opening up a vial of holy water, Ash shoved the vial into the deadite's mouth. If he didn't get every drop in there after all then this would have been pointless! In doing so however, Charlie left himself susceptible to being bitten by the creature. "Gah!"

Crying out in pain as he ripped his hand free of the creature's teeth, the deadite stumbled back and screeched to Hell and back as the holy water wreaked havoc on it's body, melting away the flesh until it was little more than a pile of bones in a goopy mess of gore.

@Hana
However, she was certain that this wasn't going to be good for any of them if not dealt with soon enough. Even so, Clarith strayed away from the conflict, not wishing to be face to face with any of these threats. Out of self defense, Clarith held Sam close to her, hoping that this would be over soon.
QDZIadW.jpg

"Hehehehe!"

This was quite the interesting development! Sam had gotten his jollies by almost seeing that teen boy narrowly avoid becoming lunch for a zombie. The latter of which was a favorite creature that Sam had under his thumb back home. These creatures seemed much smarter, tougher than his usual zombies however. Though they still had quite a number of kinks to work out. This was absolutely ridiculous with how quickly these guys were spreading undead viscera all over the place!

It was time for the thousand year old Halloween spirit to show them how it was done! Or well that's what Sam would have liked to do. As it stood however he was currently scooped off his feet and held with his face against Clarith's chest as the battle raged on. Had this woman still failed to see that there was more to him beyond appearing like a child?

Her actions said otherwise. But perhaps she was simply frightened, a normal enough human reaction! One that amused Sam and one that would he have liked to see more of! Which meant this woman couldn't get hurt or die!

"Heh..."

Ah, how quickly things seemed to go to hell in a handbasket. But while others like Dimaria seemed more amused by the arrival than anything else, DIO was simply bored. This is what had been built up to be such a threat? Rotting creatures who fought with tooth and nail and little more? Bestial instincts could only get one so far. You had to have the power to back it up. Which is why even as deadites charged at him from either side, DIO paid them little mind as he started forward.

The deadites leaped and DIO smirked. These fools didn't have the slightest idea of who they were messing with.

"ZA WARUDO!"

DIO's stand The World which was visible only to him popped up beside him as a colorful distortion field extended outwards from the vampire. Everyone froze where they were, even the deadites who were stuck in the midst of their charge. Left completely unaware of what had happened! But as DIO glanced around, he knew exactly what he'd done. He'd given these fools a brief taste of his power! Only they'd die before they even knew what had hit them! Such was the indomitable power of THE WORLD!

"Such insignificant creatures. Barely even worth a flick to head."

Even the vampires who had served under DIO were champions compared to these weaklings! Cackling like a demented fool, fighting like a savage beast. It would have almost been a sign of respect if it weren't such a pathetic sight. But alas, trash they may have been, they still needed to be taken out. Casually flicking the frozen deadites in the head, their hands were knocked clean off but remained stuck in stasis. But they weren't what DIO was eyeing anyway. Just mere gnats before a storm that was on it's way.

tmxDsLu.png

"From this angle, the savagery you showed earlier seems to really shine. From the way you hold your sword to how you seem to enjoy bloodshed. It's quite quaint really.."

DIO quiped before turning towards the patchwork creatures that Dimaria hadn't taken a crack at yet. How could he deal with them? Tapping his foot in thought as seconds continued to click by, an idea finally came to DIO's mind. One that amused him quite a bit!

Watching as The World continued to throw knives out, DIO held up a hand to stop his Stand as he felt the number of knives was enough.

"And time will move once more."

Watching as The World continued to throw knives out, DIO held up a hand to stop his Stand as he felt the number of knives was enough.
Elle nodded, and punctuated her partner's strikes with small tweaks of her own, an overextended step there a twist here, nothing too strong yet, just enough to dislocate ankles, wrists and shoulders.

DIO noticed something odd, during that stasis...

Elle turned her head to look at him, briefly, before resuming her position before time 'started' again.

@Chewy Rabbits @Others?

Holy crap! Training be damned, he was just as good of a shot as he remembered being in his fights with the Crooked Man... His first time handling a gun, he had been dead worried he'd end up with a dead child, and alot of explaining to do on his hands when the Crooked Man went after them both. Though, he probably wouldn't make a habbit out of carrying a gun around with him after this was all over, it just... Didn't suit him, given his track record with these things.

When Ghost Face asked him if he was having fun, he couldn't exactly just get himself distracted reflecting on that statement, but he did realize that in a way, he was... Feeling a small rush. Not neccessarily from the thrill of the situation, not quite anyways... It was more of an rush of energy within him that kept him steady, and to some degree, even gave him some considerable strength. Perhaps not superhuman, but, he certainly had grown a pair, at least in the heat of the moment.

When he had a small opening, he turned to Ghost Face, about to say something, when he suddenly noticed them flying straight towards him. One of the deadites appeared to have quite literally hurled them across the area, and before he knew it, they both ended up in a small heap. He silently thanked himself, and perhaps even the powers that be that he hadn't decided to dual wield, the last thing he wanted was to accidentally stab his partner with a (admittedly dull) fruit knife.

"Ooof! Don't worry... I think I'm fine. How about you?" He grunted.

Well, it was a little difficult to talk with someone else ontop of him, but while he tried to at least maneuver himself out from under Ghost Face, and back on his feet, he took care not to let his guard down. Every few seconds or so, he kept a lookout for an incoming deadite, firing off a few rounds from his gun when he could.

Once he ran out of ammo, he would only be left with his trusty fruit knife, which meant more evasive action, less of the pop and drop routine... So far, in the heat of the moment, the andrenaline rush he was currently experiencing was serving him quite well, but... He just hoped that it would last him throughout the rest of the battle, for both his sake, and probably the others too.

Jacket watched as Tarman attempted to munch on the deadite's brains.

After said deadite threw Tarman off. Jacket decided to teach the deadite some manners.

"What time is it?"

After that, Jacket swung the baseball bat with full force. Knocking the deadite to the ground. After which, Jacket stood atop the creature. Before he raised the baseball bat, bringing it down several times until all he was doing was hitting deadite brain matter into the ground.

He looked over and saw David and Ghostface. It seemed David was holding them off, but would require assistance.

So Jacket went over, dispatching deadites along the way. Once he was next to them. He held up his tape recorder. "-need assistance?"

"Would you look at that? I do believe that's something we can both agree on. And this colorful thing of yours, it's absolutely adorable too." She smirked, sauntering up to one of the many frozen patchwork men with an innocent look, hands clasped behind her back. "My my...you too can mess around with my world?" Her hand rose up, pinching the patchwork man's cheeks in a mocking manner before swiftly swiveling on her feet. "How...annoying."
"From this angle, the savagery you showed earlier seems to really shine. From the way you hold your sword to how you seem to enjoy bloodshed. It's quite quaint really.."
"Quaint? You're one to talk." Dimaria cast a glance over the legion of knives, just waiting there. "Put away your children's toys, and just observe...how a true master goes to work." With a click of her teeth, her own time stopping ability activated. Age Seal, given from the God of Time himself. And in a blur, she was racing off, her sword lashing out to deal death blows to a massive horde of the monstrous things. Once she felt satisfied, she swaggered right up to Dio.

"Yes, that's right. Time for time itself to resume. Just one thing...don't you dare sully my world with your presence again. If you do...not even the lord of death would accept your corpse once I'm through with you."

With a click of teeth, she let time continue once more. She wore a smile on her face as she looked out over her handiwork, fully expecting a lot of them to just keel over.

Fighting with only one Hand Sonic quickly proved to not be enough with the hulking masses of zombies. So Kanade had summoned up a second one on her other arm, and threw herself into the fight without hesitation even as Charlie cried out in concern for her. One of Kanade's advantages against these Deadites in close-quarters combat was how small she was, making her easily slash and stab at them, and duck under their swings. Delay, her ability to create distracting and misleading afterimages of her to confuse her enemies, also helped her avoid getting hit. Evade quickly before lunging in for another vicious stab, the girl had just quickly looked for the best ways to stop these things from moving and had stuck to it. Stabbity stab stab... Slice and dice.

Having monstrous strength packed into a waif of a girl had its advantages, after all. Her weapons cut through the deadites like a knife through hot butter with Overdrive in effect.

However, hearing a pained cry from behind her caused the girl to momentarily trip from her efficient fighting and for one of the deadites to lift the petite girl up. Kanade hadn't been listening to their insane ramblings, and as the grip tightened around her waist with a painful creaking noise, she looked over her shoulder and relaxed slightly to see Charlie was mostly fine. She cut through the deadite holding her quickly after that, slicing through his arms and falling down into the floor, crouching.

Stepping back and staying on guard this time, Kanade made her way beside Charlie, ignoring the terrible pain in her middle. "I apologize if I wasn't able to make my way to you on time." She was somewhat concerned... But had no idea how to display it. "How severe is the damage to your hand?"

@Chewy Rabbits

The deadites were quickly mowed down by everyone's attacks. Kanade's arm blade cut through them like butter, Eleven's attacks sent them crumbling to their knees, Chun Li's Kikosho blew away a large group of them, and the efforts of everyone pretty much instantly cleared the deadites. The poor zombies hadn't stood a chance against the fancy bladework and assortment of powers, or even the power of handguns and baseball bats.

The large man that Eleven struck, however, seemed to hardly even register her attack. In fact, it was as if nothing had happened at all, but instead a nearby deadite that hadn't been attacked was sent flying around like a loose leaf in the wind. Even the knives thrown her way by DIO were blocked by the large being, yet no injuries were sustained. The same deadite that had been sent flying, however, suddenly suffered an incredibly large number of knife wounds.

The attacks all struck their target, yet the target was not the one to suffer the damage.

Meanwhile, the nearly countless copies of the man with the strange second head sprouting from his back began teleporting around the various attacks coming out. A few went down to the many slashes, knives, and other attacks thrown out towards them. Alexandria herself crushed many of their heads with her powerful hands, the other costumed teens in the room also attempting to fend them off. With things from a boy who was made of metal and a kid who shot them with a gatling gun on a flying skateboard, there seemed to be quite a number of tricks up the Protectorate's sleeve.

Yet still the remaining ones continued forward, swinging their axes in vain as they attempted to fend off all the attacks coming their way. The sheer presence of the one with the "Tyrant" tattoo on his chest seemed to slowly drain the power of everyone in the area, however. From Kanade's sonic blades to Dimaria's Age Seal, supernatural powers would begin to slowly weaken in power.

Fortunately for the group, that had minimal impact on those who relied on technological superiority or other non-supernatural means of combat.

"Ah, you don't appreciate my art? That's so mean!" A sing-song voice came from the girl called Bonesaw as Dimaria gave her derogatory remarks towards her creations. "People just never understand art until it punches them in the face! Hackjobs, Tyrant, spiders!"

She snapped, and mechanical limbs came bursting out of the collapsed deadites' remains, their diseased organs and skin flooding and raining from the air. Like newborns bursting from humanoid-shaped eggs, the mechanical spiders began to replace the easily felled zombies. In place of mandibles, each wielded some sort of tool one might associate with the medical field, from oversized scalpels to circular saws, and began to leap towards each of them!

Not only that, but the men with two heads began to teleport around, leaving afterimages in their wake as they did so. One might almost confuse it for high-speed movement, were it not for the fact the afterimages themselves could act for a short time before disappearing. Their numbers practically doubled for a second, twice the number of the abominations called Hackjob swinging down their axes!

Space twisted as Vista warped the area around her and her allies to prevent the axes from reaching, the ceiling itself swinging down to block the strikes in a surreal fashion.

"How many of these things are there?!" The kid flying about on a hovering skateboard of sorts complained as he blasted away at the spiders and horrific combination of bodies.

"Focus, Kid Win." Alexandria spoke calmly but strongly even as she moved about at high speeds, clobbering the creatures with one strike each. She alone seemed to be able to take care of at least half of the building, leaving the rest to deal with the other half.

"Hey!" Bonesaw called out, still sitting atop Tyrant as she twirled one of her ringlets. "If you guys just surrender here, I'll make your operations as painless as possible? How's that sound?"

"Piss off," a boy in a grey costume that covered his entire body with clock designs on it replied immediately.

This was far more than Eleven could handle telekinetically, though she simply caused every personal attack on her to fail due to twisting whatever appendage attempted to deliver the blows in an unnatural direction. Her powers were psionic, created by science, so they weren't in the least effected.

If the big monster she rode was impervious to physical attack, perhaps she could trick it. She mimicked Bonesaw's voice from the nearest electronic device to where the monster stood. "Tyrant, put me down in front of the one with the hockey mask. I want to deal with him personally."

She wiped her nose of blood, and absently sent another attacker flying with a wave of her hand.

It was a voice all Shanghai street fighters learned to fear. David had taken up a more... Stable stance now, after having gotten himself free from under ghost fast, as their enemies only grew in numbers and intensity; those zombie like creatures were mostly, gone, but in their place... Mechanical abberations rushed towards them, along with more horrific meshed together bodies, coming after them.

By now, he had drawn his fruit knife, dual wielding it with his pistol, as he aimed to at least hold back the hordes of creatures. He was waiting for an opening, which he would either use to deal some heavier damage by rushing straight in and perhaps popping a few shots at the bigger fish, but at the same time, that alone, might not be enough.

So that meant that he needed a backup plan... Fast, and that was when he remembered how he had managed to fight off the Crooked Man, even without a weapon; he used his environment to his advantage. He still had a lighter in his pocket, filled with some fuel incase he ever needed to start a fire. However, he decided to expand his options, and check his environment for anything he could use to his advantage, in the moments he could dare to divert his attention from the onslaught of creatures, usually for less than a second or so at a time.
