Site Policies Update & New Warning/Infraction System!

  1. Just a friendly neighborhood notice about our SITE RULES UPDATE AND NEW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM!

    The Community Policies have been UPDATED!

    There are no major rule changes. All of the site policies are the same, however we reorganized the page, clarified some of the policies and added in some extra information that members might want to know. Such as how we archive threads, how and who to contact if you have a problem and how we handle issues when they come up.


    The most important update is the new way staff will be issuing notices, warnings and infractions. All of this information is detailed on the Site Policies page.

    Because Iwaku is so large and growing so quickly, we wanted to make sure that staff are handling all issues as effectively and professionally as possible. From now on, if staff has to contact you about a problem it will be done through the system with a special Private Message. Be it as simple as needing to change a graphic avatar, to a topic posted in the wrong place, to even more serious things like forum behavior or fights. This way we are able to keep track of who has been contacted for what (so a member isn't poked by 5 different people for the same thing) AND we can see through a points system which members are real actual problems.

    So please don't panic if you get a very official looking PM in the future. 8D Unless you actually did something douchey.


    If you have any comments, concerns, or suggestions - the discussion thread about our site policies is still open! Somethings things get missed or are not explained very well. D:
