Sister's love

Mrs. Perkins heard Jasmine shout and almost droped her cup with tea, but she was able to save it. She looked at Isabel wondering if she had taken offence of it, she hadn't been able to notice the second when Isabel showed the hurtened face so it didn't look for her that Isabel had cared about it. She wanted to sight in relief and tell her that Jasmine didn't mean it and would soon get used to have her there but she didn't get the chance because Isabel excused herself and went out of the room. Mrs. Perkins looked after her and thought that she needed to be alone for a while. She had no idea what Isabel really were going to do.

Jasmine laid down on her bed and the book she had held was thrown at the floor. Maybe she had said some unnecessary stuff to her father, but she wouldn't go down and apologise right away. That would be to embarrasing to regret it right after it happened, she could do it tomorrow or at dinner later tonight. Maybe she should apologise to her new... sister, to. It was hard just to think the word, but she had treated her a bit bad, it was her parents she was most angry at because they hadn't told her before today after all.

Just as her anger had left her body she heard the door to her room open, who the fuck went in to her room without knocking? She sat up in the bed and saw Isabel comming in to the room. How did she dare do that? It was her room, she should at least knock. She is comming in to her room without knocking and calls her baby. That bitch.

As fast as Jasmines anger had left her it came back, she rose from her place on the bed and glared angry at her. "Have no one teached you to knock" she screamed at her "if you don't talk to me then I wont bother you so just leave me alone. I will be happy if you disappear from this house." She throwed a pillow at Isabel and passed her to get out of the room, "no one wants you here, my parents just took you in out of pity. Don't think that they actually likes you" She said before she went to their small library, maybe they would leave her alone in there. Aparently she didn't get to be alone anywhere in that house today.

She slammed the door closed when she got to their library and placed herself in one of the chairs. Who did that girl think she was? She didn't belong there at all, she should have just waited untill she turned eighteen and then moved out of the orphanage. She wouldn't need a family in this age anyways. Jasmine didn't even think about reading a book at the moment, she was to furious to enjoy reading at the moment.

The first part of Jasmine's furious speech was only a blabbering of a child to Isis. Exactly what she had expected. Selfish and egoistic words of a neglected child. She wanted to laugh and almost did when Jasmine threw pillow at her...but she couldn't bring herself to laughing. Jasmine's next words cut deep into her soul. As Jasmine left, Isis stayed in the room. Eyes opened wide, her expression confused and hurt. Was that true? Had they really adopted her out of pity? If she thought about it better, it was the only sensible reason why they did it. Pulling her lips closer together, Isabel tried not to sob nor cry. She so wished to be back in the orphanage. No matter how hard life there was, it was still better than being in a family that was only feeling sorry for her. She never asked anyone to repent of her past life. She never wanted anyone to do so. Isabel looked at the window which led to the roof. If she used it, she could get out of the house unobserved and run back to where she came from. She didn't care how far it was. In that moment, it seemed like the only good solution.

I have to leave. They don't want me, she thought and made few steps toward the other wall. However, her wiser self stepped in her mind and started to argue with her. Jasmine was only angry and when people were angry they said things out of blue that might not be true. Maybe Jasmine just made that up only to hurt Isis...which she actually managed quite well. But how would she find out the truth? She couldn't talk to her new sister otherwise they would start to fight. That was for sure. Should she ask parents? She just got here - would it be alright then if she asked? Her wiser self knew that if she would run away, it would only bring up troubles and she wouldn't make a good picture about herself. Wiping the corners of her eyes, Isabel went to the window and closed it.

"No running away tonight," she told to the empty room and sighed. Only few more months and she would leave. After all, when her room would be done, she wouldn't have to spend that much time with Jasmine either. That would be just fabulous. Right after school, she would go to her own room, lock herself in there and she wouldn't have to care about the world. That made Isabel a little bit better. Anyways, she had questions that she had to ask. It was like when she was asking Jasmine what was bothering her. Now she had to ask her new parents about something that was delicate and uncomfortable for both sides. Leaving the room, Isabel went downstairs again and found Mrs. and Mr. Perkins where she had left them few minutes ago.

"I need to talk to you if you don't mind," she said when she entered and with a little hesitation she went inside and sat on the couch, on a place from where she could look at both of her new parents. It took her several moments to bring herself to speak again. At last, Isabel drew in a deep breath and then as evenly as she was able to, asked: "Why did you adopt me? Was it out of pity?"

Mr. and Mrs. Perkins were about to drop their jaw's, Isabel's questioned surprised them. They knew that they would have to tell her sometime but they didn't think she would ask them on the first day. Mr. Perkins cleared his throat, about to ask what Jasmine had said but Mrs. Perkins gave him a cautionary look because she suspected what he was going to do. He stopped himself immediately and took a sip on his tea. Mrs. Perkins looked excusingly at Isabel, like she wanted to apologise for something.

"My dear, we didn't adopt you out of pity." She said and looked at her husband "I confess that we felt sorry for you because you didn't have a family, but we felt sorry for everyone at the orphanage. But of everyone of the children there we thought you were the one that would be able to get along with Jasmine best, not only because of you age but your personality to. It was a mistake on our side to not tell her before today but we didn't know how to say it and then we got to hear that you would arrive earlier than we had expected. We adopted you because we thought about both the feelings of the one we adopted and of our own daughter, we tried to make it easier for both. I don't think it would have been any difference if we had adopted a ten year old child."

Mrs. Perkins stopped and hope let Isabel think over what she just had told her. "We want all the children at the orphanage to have a family and we would love to adopt every one of them but we can't. It will take some time for Jasmine to think of you as a family member but I'm certain she will accept you if you just give her some time."

In the library Jasmine sat in a chair, she held a book in her hand but she didn't see any of the words in it. Who would be the next person to walk threw the door to the library? Her father, her mother or maybe Isabel herself? She was certain someone would soon come in to scream at her for being so childish and not trying to understand the situation. Maybe even talk with her that she wouldn't want people to say things like that if she had lived in a orphanage her whole life. Maybe they would tell her that she must act like a sister, or at least a bit more mature. Maybe she would have, if they had told her about this earlier so she could prepare herself for Isabel's arrival.

She went to the next page in the book, even if she didn't read it she could make it look like she was reading. Even if no one was in the room she could at least fool herself for a moment that she was calm and didn't care. But this girl was bugging her, she didn't want her to be in this house. Couldn't someone else take her in instead? Why did they have to adopt someone in her age? Couldn't they have adopted someone younger, someone that wouldn't move out of the house within the next two years.

She sighted, her parents had probably lost their mind this time. But she would soon be out of the house anyways so she didn't need to worry about that girl for to long. And that girl would help her to get a car faster even if she didn't know it, she could probably act nice for a litle while, just so her parents didn't change their mind about paying her for showing Isabel arround.

Isabel listened carefully, taking in everything Mrs. Perkins told her. But was it really all? What was that concern in their faces? Definitely, this was an uncomfortable topic but they should be open with her. Were they open with her? Why did she doubt them all of a sudden? Isabel smiled just to mask her true feelings of confusion and something else. She didn't believe them for some reason. Maybe because as they said that they didn't inform Jasmine about her arrival...maybe they didn't want to inform her about something else. Should she ask for more details? No, that would only sound like she was doubting what they said and then they might regret adopting her.

"Thanks," she said simply, then excused herself that she was tired and wanted to relax for a little while. However, before she left the room, Isis turned around to add something: "I think that Jasmine plans to sleep in one of her friends house tonight. At least, that's what I think she told me." Was she actually telling on her new sister? Isabel thought that it would be good for her new parents to know and yes, she wanted to revenge on that little bitch. Walking out of the living room, Isabel went to the room that she shared with Jasmine still thinking about what she was told. Once inside, she sat down by the wall and took her laptop.

Tomorrow it would be her first day at school and Isabel started to think about it while she was listening to some music and writing an e-mail to Joe. She wanted to share with him how it was to be in new family. Isis was sure that Joe, the carer that brought her here, would understand anything she would write and maybe he would even give her some advices on how to get on with Jasmine. Not that Isabel wouldn't know how to do it, but she didn't want to use force neither wanted to talk her out of her mood. After all, Isabel was sure she wouldn't be able to talk Jasmine out of the way she felt about her. She just had to hope that it would change with time.

Mr. and Mrs. Perkins watched as Isabel left the room, the worry in Mrs. Perkins facial expression was clearly visible. Mr. Perkins didn't show any signs of worry on his face but on the inside he maybe was even more worried than his wife were.

In the library Jasmine sat and tried to read the book she held, she were able to read one sentence before her mind started to think about other things. Then she heard how someone was walking in the stairs, it couldn't have been her mother because she was like a ninja. Jasmine never heard when she walked in the stairs even if they always sounded even if you walked as carefully as you could. Her mother was the only one that could walk in the stairs without them sounding at all. It couldn't be her father either because when he walked in the stairs it sounded much more.

That must mean it was Isabel that was on her way up again, but jasmine hadn't heard her go down. Was she so occupied in her thoughts so she had missed that? Jasmine picked up her cellphone and called a friend, she needed to get out of the house before dinner, if not then she would need to eat with that girl. The first person she called told her she was bussy and couldn't have anyone come over, the second wasn't in town and the third didn't answer the phone. Jasmine sighted loudly, for the most everyone called her asking her if she could come and she would be bussy with stuff at those times, but now all of a sudden everyone else was bussy.

She tested to call a fourth person, Gabriel answered the phone in a few second, it was like he were keeping watch over the phone 24/7 or something like that. Once she had asked him if she could come over he wanted to know why. She tried to tell him that there were no real reason for it but he didn't believe her, he always were able to hear or see when something was wrong with Jasmine. Jasmine sighted and told him what had happened, without leaving out any details. Gabriel thought for a moment and tried to give her advises of what she should do, but he said that it was best for her to stay home tonight, or else she would probably keep running away from the house because that girl was there.

After Jasmine was done with the call she sighted for the third time, she knew he was right in everything he had told her. For example she should treat Isabel better, but it was hard when she was so irritating.

For the rest of those hours when Isis was chatting with her friends and her boyfriend, nothing extraordinary happened. Jasmine didn't come to the room and Isabel quietly prayed that she was gone to one of her damn friends. Oh, how sad that was that in such a short time she almost disliked her sister as much as she disliked doctors. However, she still had the strength to shook off that feeling and try to start from zero. True enough, the introduction wasn't the best one but still...everyone was telling her basically the same thing - give it some time. And so Isabel decided to give it some time even though she doubted that anything would change. Jasmine didn't sound like a girl who would change throughout the night. After all those thoughts, messages and few calls, her new mother knocked on the door that the dinner was ready. Isabel smiled and replied in negative when she was asked if she knew were Jasmine was. Why would she care anyway? That girl was way too unpleasant to have around.

The dinner was quiet, way too quiet for Isabel's liking. From the orphanage she was used to screaming and shouting and helpless tries of the carers to get the crowd under control. After so many long years, she was suddenly sitting by the table with three other people. No loud noises, no spitting at each other...she almost felt uncomfortable but Isabel knew that at the end she would get used to it. After all, hadn't this been on of her dreams? Having a nice dinner time with a family. At the thought of family, she looked at Jasmine from the corner of her eye. Well, family...

Screw you Jasmine! Isabel thought and carried on eating without leting anyone notice the change in her mind. She resumed back to her calm and careless state. No, she wouldn't change because of her new sister. There was no point in doing so until her new 'lovely' sister would be willing to do the same. During the dinner, Isabel was told that Mr. Perkins would place a mattress in Jasmine's room which Isabel could use instead of bed till her room would be ready. Exactly as she expected and she didn't mind at all. Isabel thought that such a mattress would be way more comfortable that her bed in the orphanage. After dinner, Isis helped Mrs. Perkins to clean the table. However, afterwards she was really feeling tired, so she excused herself again that she was going to have a shower, which was true.

Being told where it was, Isis found it easily. It was nice, way nicer than the one she was used to. Well, everything in the house was way nicer than she was used to, so what was the big deal? She should stop being so excited about all this stuff and start living. Isabel took a quick shower and when she returned to the room, the mattress was there. With a happy smily she laid down on it, covering herself with a blanket. The sensation was so warming that Isis fell asleep almost immediately.

The next morning, she woke up quite early and went to bathroom again to do the morning hygiene. It tempted her so much to go downstairs in her pyjamas and have breakfast, but she thought that it might not be a good idea, so she went back into her room to get changed. She wore the same grey trousers as yesterday, different shirt and the same black, leather jacket. Why would she care that much about her appearance when the only person who saw her once in this clothes was Jasmine? The others would see her like that for the first time. After applying some make up on as well, which didn't take long either, Isabel got down to have some breakfast.

Jasmine sat in the library untill she heard a knock on the door, her ninja mother had once again surprised her by sneaking on her. "Yes?" Jasmine said and got the answer that dinner was finnished. Her mother wouldn't have knocked if she knew that Jasmine was in there, in other words she had no idea that Jasmine had been there. It took some time before Jasmine decided to go down to eat, Isabel, her mother and her father was already there and had started to eat. Her parents were used to her comming down a litle later if she were in the middle of something, this time though she hadn't been up to anything special, she just didn't want to see her new 'sister'.

She sat down silently and except some comments from her parents now and then there was no one talking. For the most they always used to talk about what had happened during the day, what was going to happen during the week and stuff like that. Why did that change all of a sudden? Oh that's right, Isabel. Jasmine barely touched her food, she just ate a litle, she barely felt hungry at all at the moment. It wasn't like her at all, she was always hungry. Why did that change? Oh that's right, Isabel. Jasmine noticed that more and more things actually were isabel's fault, if she hadn't come there then her family wouldn't have become like this all of a sudden. Jasmine didn't like it at all.

When Isabel went to the shower Jasmine went to bed, it was really early but she didn't care, if she fell asleep then she wouldn't notice the irritating 'sister' of hers. How could they ever be able to get along?

the next day she woke up early, Isabel was still sleeping. So it wasn't a nightmare that she had gotten a new 'sister' after all, to bad. That meant that she would need to show her around in school today, Jasmine had better things to do than showing her around. She had a history test to study to and because she had the test the first thing in the morning she needed to study before the lesson started. She had studied for the whole week but the other day she hadn't been able to because she had forgotten about it when she got to know that they had adopted a new kid. And then she got to know that it was a teenager in her age. It was so ridiculous.

She went down to eat breakfast and after some time Isabel came down, she glarred at her sister for a second before turning back to her breakfast. Her parents had already gone to their jobs, her father always went early to the school to prepare things for the lessons. "If you aren't finnish to go to school within twenty minutes I will go without you." She commented as she finnished the breakfast, she wouldn't be late because that girl was lazy.

Isabel went downstairs relaxed and relatively positive...until her new sister spoke and overall got into her sight. Obviously that girl needed glasses or a brain operation. Walking towards the table, she gave Jasmine a careless smile: "If you haven't noticed I am already done. Lost your glasses?" She couldn't help but has to say aloud. With the same careless manner she sat down and made herself a bowl of cornflakes with milk. She didn't have much so it didn't take her long to finished. As Isabel took the bowl into the kitchen and put it in the sink, she wished to have this morning over and to be at school, possible sitting on the otherside of the classroom in the furtherest corner, away from Jasmine. Slapping her wouldn't be enough sometimes.

Going back upstair to get her school bag, with notepad and some pencils and pens in, Isis came downstair again holding her phone and writing a quick message to Zack with who she planned to meet in the afternoon. Oh, how she was looking forward to it. It would be like a balsam on her soul to be with someone who didn't try to drive her crazy. "Now tell me who's late," she told herself, not caring if Jasmine was around to hear her or not. She put the phone back in her bag and if Jasmine was around and about to leave, she followed not saying anything at all.

Jasmine didn't care about her new idiots comment, she would just ignore everything she said untill Jasmine moved out of the house, or maybe Isabel would move out of the house first if she were lucky. She walked from the table and prepared her things, walking down the stairs she heard Isabel talking to herself, or maybe it was her she was talking to. But she didn't even know she was there so it couldn't be her she was talking to. Jasmine hadn't heard what Isabel was saying anyways so it didn't matter.

"If you keep talking to yourself people will think you are nuts." She commented when she had walked halfway down the stairs. Her bag was hanging over her shoulder and she had sat up her hair in a curly ponny tail that went on her right shoulder. She had put on a baggy shirt and a pair of black jeans, she had one earring in her left ear but none in the right.

she passed her sister and fast took on her shoes before going out threw the door, she didn't really care if her so called sister was with her or not. If she got behind Jasmine didn't care about it. It was just better if she got behind because then she would get rid of her and wouldn't need to show her around, if she didn't find the way to school herself. But no one had told her the way there, that's the only reason she needed to show the way. Give the girl a map instead and let Jasmine have her freedome.

she walked faster than usual without even noticing it, her uncounciousness probably wanted to get rid of Isabel to. When she noticed how fast she was walking she didn't slow down, she almost felt tempted to walk even faster just to make it harder for Isabel. Why was she forced to take care of this damn weirdo, yeah right, she were going to get her driver licence payed. She wasn't certain if it was worth it but she really wanted her savings to go to a car. When she thought about the driver licence she started to slow down a bit, she didn't mind the high speed but she couldn't be certain of her new sister. Jasmine was in the running team so she was used to run really far, so that fast walk wasn't that bothersome.

She looked back to see if Isabel was still there, she would actually need to wait her in if she had come to far behind or else she could forget about that car.

"I don't care what anyone thinks about me. Judging the book by its cover is stupid," she said, grimaced and followed Jasmine. However, her new sister darted out of the door and didn't wait for her. At first, Isabel wanted to call after her but then she shrugged, closed the door, locked it and only after that began to walk in her own pace, keeping Jasmine in her sight. Well, if Jasmine would lose her and due to that Isabel would get lost in the town, it would only get Jasmine in trouble. Isis herself wasn't walking slowly and a lot of her friends from the orphanage always told her that she walked too fast but as she thought before - Why would she try to keep up with that spoilt brat? She sighed. Well, nothing got better yet so when would it? Watching Jasmine's back as she sped a little bit more, Isabel shook her head. Things never happened on their own. There always had to be some trigger. Maybe if Isabel would try to talk to Jasmine in more friendly way, Jasmine herself might see that there was no reason in being such a bitch as she was.

Not long after that consideration, Isabel noticed that Jasmine was waiting for her. She reached her in her normal speed and began to walk next to her sister. So what should she say? Was there anything to talk about with her new sister? To be honest, she didn't know because till now she really didn't have time or the mood to ask. Then there was the part how she should treat Jasmine. Definitely, not as an enemy because that wouldn't do any good at all. But should she treat her as a sister? That might make Jasmine angry considering how much she hated the fact that Isabel was her new sister. So at the end, Isabel ended up with that friendly, careless tone, she was thinking about earlier.

"Looks like you are quite well trained that you walk that fast. Do you do athletics or anything else?" Isabel asked and suriprisingly her voice sounded friendly but not intrusively. She was just trying to start a conversation and if it wouldn't end up in conversation and Jasmine would answer in the matter like Isis didn't have to care about what Jasmine was doing, then Isabel might reply or might not but certainly she would not try to talk to Jasmine again because she would know that it would be a loss of her own time and will.

Suddenly she walked in that slow tempo Isabel was walking, it wasn't really slow, it was probably because Jasmine didn't want to walk with her that she thought it was slow at the moment. Well, they would get to school in time anyways, they didn't even have to walk this fast. There was a lot of time left. But then she remembered that she needed to show Isabel around and then she needed to study for her test before the lesson started, how would she be able to do both before her lesson started?

If she would get a bad grade then she would tell the teacher that she didn't have a chance to study because of her getting a new sister that she needed to show around and that she couldn't help it. It would probably not help but she would probably do it anyway because she was furious of her bad grade. Then it would end with her screaming at Isabel and saying it was all her fault. Now she knew what they were going to do next week when the test results would be given to them.

They walked silently for awhile before Isabel broke the silence, it surprised Jasmine a lot, she didn't think that Isabel would start to talk with her now. What surprised her more was that Isabel actually had a friendly tone in her voice, why was she like that all of a sudden? Jasmine knew that Isabel liked her as litle as Jasmine did to her.

"I have trained in the running team for four years" She admitted without showing emotions about it, she were almost going to tell her about how she won first place in the school champion ship for four years in a row, it was a competition where all schools in the country competed with eachother. The only reason she didn't tell her was that it felt a bit like braging and she didn't want to do that. Then there was the reason she didn't like Isabel at all so she didn't have a reason to tell her anything and it almost surprised her that she even had said one sentence to Isabel.

They finally reached the school, she just needed to show Isabel around and then she could ignore her for the rest of the day. "This is the school" She said as they walked on to the schoolground. "What do you wanna see first? Library? Classrooms? Corridors?" She asked trying to be a bit nice giving Isabel the right to choose instead of just dragging her along to different places.

Isis nodded her head. So that was the reason why she was so quick. For the rest of the journey none of them had spoken which Isabel half expected. After all, they probably unconsciously didn't want to talk to one another and firstly had to get used to the presence of the other person before talking about some stuff. Not long after their very short conversation the school appeared in front of them. Isabel drew in a deep breath of surprise. This was something she didn't expect. It was huge and looked so modern. She fell in love with the building from the first sight. She almost said aloud how the building looked amazing but held herself back. There wasn't anyone who would be interested in her talking. There were some people around and Isabel gave them quick look guessing who knew Jasmine and who didn't. It could be told easily just by the expression in people's faces but so far she hadn't seen anyon who would act friendly towards her new sister.

"I think that at first the classrooms and we can leave the rest for the big break or after school if you want," Isabel replied and gave Jasmine a light smile. After all, she was happy that she came into this town and came into a new family. The whole place looked like from a fairytale. Not exactly the fairytale with white horses, princes and pixies but the core was the same. It was all dream-like and amazing.

(OOC: Sumimasen ^^ Have no more to write about)

Jasmine just nodded to her request and walked towards the entrance, before she entered she remembered that there was one thing that she should mention about the outside first. "The PE lessons aren't done here at school, there are a building about five minutes walk away from here where the PE lessons are held. It's just when we are going to run when we use the backyard of the school, but we will still need to go to the other building to get changed and take showers." She told her pointing in the directions to where the PE building where. Then she opened the door and walked in to the school. "PE is on fridays, athlethic club activities are held in the same building."

She walked towards the stairs and stopped just before she were going to walk up. "On the first floor there are the reception, cafeteria and library. You can also find places to sit around and study or talk with people, the most people goes here during their breaks." She informed Isabel without showing her where it all were, after all Isabel had told her to do that later. Before showing her the classrooms Jasmine went to her own locker and put her bag in to it. "You will get your locker number from the receptionist, but she isn't here before ten on thursdays so you should go there during lunch break instead."

She went to the classroom that were right beside her locker and started to talk again. "This school is built as two buildings and there is a way to walk to the other building from the inside on the second floor as you probably saw when we came to the school. In this building the most classes have computers so that the students can use them during the lesson. We have most of our lessons in these classrooms. In the other building there are mostly music, theatre and dance rooms, we have some classes there to. The principal that bought this school four years ago decided that even people that didn't study music, theatre and dance should have some classes with it so that they could learn colture better."

Jasmine showed Isabel around the school so she got to see where the classrooms where, it was hard to find them because they hadn't numbers, instead they just had names and you needed to learn where every classroom where by heart. When she were finnished showing Isabel around she went back to the classroom that were at her locker. "This is were our first class are, but I bet you wont even have it. We have a test today so the teacher will probably tell you that you can do it some other time." She said, the students had already come in to the classroom, there was no time for her to study after all.

Isabel listened to Jasmine. She didn't mind that she would have to carry her back around. She did it in her previous school so it didn't bother her at all. When she was told that she would get her number of the locker during the lunch break, Isis just nodded her head and then let Jasmine to take her around the school and tell her some thing about it. What troubled Isabel was that the classrooms had names. That was pretty annoying and unpractical. She might ask the receptionist if she had a map because Isabel thought that she might need it first few weeks before she would get used to it, or before she would remember where the classes she was studying in were. She could then forget about the rest. Isabel also liked the fact about the computers. It was all so modern that it conjured a tiny smile on her face.

When they returned back to the place where they had started from Isabel nodded. "Thanks Jasmine," she said casually and walked into the classroom. She wondered where she could sit and when she saw that one of the chairs wasn't being taken by anyone, she went towards there and sat down. Some people gave her a curious look but Isis ignored most of them. It was the same as before. Isabel was loner, she really didn't feel the urge to talk to anyone. If someone wanted to talk to her, she wouldn't send the person away though but she rarely did the first move. Putting down her back, Isabel took out a notepad and pen. Yes, there were computers, but Isabel prefered to write notes by hand. She remembered it way easily when she did things that way.

At last, when she was ready, Isabel looked up and looked around, somehow examining her new classmates. Some of them were still looking at her curiously and some minded their own business. For a while she looked at Jasmine but that didn't last for more then 10 seconds and then Isabel looked out of the window to pass the time somehow.

That Isabel thanked Jasmine shouldn't have been such a big shock, but of some reason Jasmine still got surprised of it. It wasn't like she wanted to do it or anything, it was just that her driving licence would get payed if she was a bit nice to her. But Isabel didn't know this, if she knew then she would probably be pissed like hell. But she probably knew that Jasmine's parents had forced or bribed Jasmine, if she didn't even suspect it then her knew sister was more stupid than she thought from the beginning. The way Jasmine had acted towards her showed that if no one had forced or bribed her then she would never even save her if she were dying.

Jasmine walked in to the classroom, noticing how her classmates, her friends was starring at Isabel. It almost hurt a bit that they payed so much attention to Isabel but didn't even say hello to a childhood friend. As she sat down at her usual seat Hampus started to talk to her immediately, he wanted to know about the knew girl. Why was he interested in her? Probably just because she was new and that interested everyone. She didn't tell him that they lived together or that Isabel was her new sister. She only said that it was some new girl she had to show around the school.

After all, what would people think if her parents had adopted a girl that was in her age and soon would be ready to move away from home, it was ridiculous that they even cared about someone that barely would stay even a year with them. As long as they didn't know that she and Isabel lived together then it would be fine, but she probably should make Isabel shut up about it to.

Diana turned around and asked about saturdays party, for example if she would invite the new girl to the party. Jasmine almost wanted to scream at the question, she didn't want Isabel to come but if she hadn't anywhere to go during saturday then Jasmine would be forced to have her there. What a nightmare, her birthday party and she would need to have her new 'litle' sister there. She told Diana that she were going to invite her because she were a classmate, even if the last part wasn't true. They lived in the same house so she needed to be there even if she weren't invited. As long as she wouldn't be in the way then it shouldn't be any problem.

Then the teacher came in and the test started, ofcourse Isabel didn't have to do it, she was new after all. He gave her a book and showed her what she should read and then she could tell her when she felt ready for the test. When she felt ready? Everyone else had a deadline, couldn't he just tell her that she were going to read this and that and she were going to do the test on this date. It was so unfair.

Even if she hadn't had time to study in the morning it still felt like she were doing pretty good, he had only taken the easy questions this time. Jasmine was one of the first one to finnish the test and walk out from the classroom.

Isabel sat on her place and when the teacher came in she regarded him with a careless look. It wasn't rude one though. She looked at everyone as they started to write their exam. The topic sounded familiar to her and when she was told what to read in a book, information began to fled her mind. Actually, they had been talking about this in her previous school so she knew a lot about it. On of her new classmates next to her seemed to strugle with the test. Isis looked at the profesor who wasn't obviously paying attention to him, so Isabel secretly helped the boy complete the exam with most of the questions right. He seemed grateful and Isabel regarded him with a supportive smile which was rare but she felt good herself. After all, the classmate next to her was differen than Jasmine who would just tell her to shut up if she would try to help her. Well, Jasmine obviously didn't need any help at all as she was the first one to leave the classroom.

Isabel herself stayed at the classroom till the bell rang and announced a break. Isis didn't how long that break would be and as she checked her watches the receptionist probably wouldn't be in yet so Isis decided to spend her time in the class. She thought that she would enjoy the piece if the boy hadn't come up to her.

"Hey! Thanks for much for your help. I am usually prepared for exams but this week was crazy for me and I didn't have time to study. You were like my saviour today," he said and gave her a broad smile. He looked a little bit girlish but there was something cute about him that made Isabel smile slightly. He was obviously into metal or rock but as she thought before, that boy looked cute. "Anyways, my name is Sebastian," he said and extended his hand. Isabel regarded him with the same smile. Her theory came true, people found her to be friends, she didn't have to do anything. She took his hand and shook it slightly. "I am Isabel, but everyone calls me Isis," she answered and then Sebastian sat next to her and the two of them began to talk.
