Sindy

Sindy loved being the one with the last word. She was never good at fighting back, sending retorts and comebacks smoothly with wit and sarcasm. Instead, she would make a face at the person she was fighting with and call it a draw, storming away from them. What she did to Aiden was close enough to storming away. Turning around and not facing him was the same thing as walking away in her eyes. Keeping her cheeks huffed in annoyance, she continued to keep her eyes shut, shuffling a bit so that the carpet rubbed against her skin through the dress. It was not the same thing as the sleeping arrangements back in Drixia, in which Sindy slept in her 'Bubble Ball.' Popular things, those were; white balls with pillows and padded tempurpedic comfort that morphed into the shape of the sleeper's body, heating up and cooling down depending on their body temperature.

A carpet with no pillow or no Bubble Ball was hell.

Before she could internally further complain about how max tura 2008 was, her body was suddenly whisked up by Aiden. Too in shock to function right, she put up a mild fight, flailing her hands and trying desperately to smack them away from her while he gave his order.

"...What?! No! I'm not going to make you sleep weird in your own roo-"

"You can sleep on one half of the bed and ill sleep on one half okay?" Sindy was surprised to find him absolutely sincere about the action but was too tired to argue. When Aiden found her a shirt, she shrugged out of her dress, not caring if he was in the room or not.

"Fine. It is your room. You make the rules, boss!"she exclaimed, letting her dress fall to the floor and revealing her flawless body before she slipped on the shirt, throwing the shorts somewhere because she simply didn't know what to do with them. Her cheek rested on the pillow once she snaked her body under the covers. Again, not as comfortable as the Bubble Ball, but it was way better than the floor.

"Ahh~ Thank you, Aiden...Thank you for helping me,"she whispered, cracking a small smile, her purple eyes twinkingling in a sliver of moonlight that seeped through the window.

Aiden didn't know what to do with Sindy. She was throwing a fit because she wanted to sleep on the floor and he wansn't going to let that happen. He had no idea on why someone would want to sleep on the hard and cold floor. Shaking his head he was relaxed when she had stopped her arguing on where she was sleeping. Once he gave her the clothes he was about to turn when she dropped her dress.

His face went completly red and he looked at her before turrning his body completly around. God she dosen't care who she undresses infront of. Counting in his head he slowly turrned around to find that she was in the shirt he gave her but not the shorts. Aiden glanced at her when she made a comment about him being the boss and making the rules and something like that.

Finally he turnned of the light and then crawled into the bed under the covers. Looking over at Sindy he nodded when she thanked him. " No problem, goodnight". Closing his eyes he slowly but surley drifted off to sleep.

It took her a while to get to sleep. While she was drained of energy from the trip, it was hard to close her eyes and drift off into unconsciousness. Without the soothing heat from the Bubble Ball, she was dealing with some different sleeping situations. There was no use complaining about it so she wasn't going to. She was going to do what she said and sleep the night away, resting her body up for the morning. The force field she had to do would have to be much stronger than all of the others, for not only was she shielding herself, she was also shielding Aiden. Was she even strong enough to do it?

"...Aiden?" The name went unheard. Aiden was out and wasn't waking up anytime soon. Sindy bit her lip, her back still facing his back. Their bodies were not touching, which was okay with her. When was the last time she slept with another human being. Wait...had she ever slept with one before? Her teeth sunk deeper into her bottom lip as she made the smallest of movements. Sindy peeked behind her to see his chest rise in fall in a peaceful rhythm. Odd. A human sleeping peacefully without a Bubble Ball. Interested, she turned around fully, looking at his back and leaning in closer to see if he was indeed sleeping soundly. She placed one hand on his back. He didn't budge.

Out like a light.

Sindy smiled to herself and removed her hand from his back. The second the heat of his body left her palm, a pillar of sleep dropped like a heavyweight on her eyes, slamming them shut as she drifted off into one of the most peculiar sleeps she had ever taken. Somehow, in the middle of the night, she managed to squeeze into Aiden's arm, taking in the warmth of his arms just like it was the Bubble Ball. Of course, she had no idea she was doing so, but Sindy was out, nuzzling her chin on the pillow while her nose tickled his.

Yes, an odd sleep, it was.

Aiden had no problem falling asleep on his bed. He had a temperpedic so it made it even more comfortable for him and he was able to go to sleep alot faster than when he was on his old bed. He wondered what they were going to do in her planet besides save it. When he was a kid he always thought there was things out in space and other lifeforms, people and now that it was real it kind of shocked.

He heard a noise, a voice like but he was far to gone to even have the strength to open his eyes or open his mouth and speak. It was like the bed was some magical thing that drifted him off into a deep sleep and a good dream zone for th night. Even thought he was getting to his deep sleep he still felt when Sindy placed her hand on his back but he didn't move. He was too comfortable.

When morning came Aiden slowly opened his eyes and released a yawn before looking around and then down. Sindy was under his arm and her head on the pillow yet so close to his body. HE helt his bodt temp his heat up and then he sat up trying not to wake Sindy. Once he slipped out of bed he walked to his drawer and got some clothes before heading into the bathroom and taking a shower.

After soaping up and rinshing off he dried off and put on his boxers then head downstairs to start on breakfast.

Even when Aiden left from the bed, Sindy hadn't awakened. For such an uncomfortable device, his bed was actually quite warming to the touch. Then again, her body was shut down temporarily for hours, so there'd be no wonder why she didn't feel the strange texture of his mattress. On the other hand, she had found herself under the drape of his arms, making the rest of her night surprisingly well. Sindy did not have dreams. She hadn't had one for weeks to talk about and she feared if she did.

Drixia was in trouble...The Last Tree was in trouble...she had to help.

Sindy snapped awake, sweat pricking the side of her neck while the other damp areas moistened around the ring of Aiden's shirt. Her pink hair stuck in strands to her neck as well, a bit falling over her right eye. Sindy's breathing was ragged and sharp, remnants of the fear she felt when she thought of Drixia being destroyed from the inside. Her pleasant sleep was now over and she was wide awake.

And alone.

"Aiden...?"she called out in a frail whisper. There was no answer so she knew he wasn't in the room. He could have been anywhere, but Sindy wasn't going to venture out on her own to look for him. Even if she wanted to, it'd be nearly impossible with her body trembling so much from the thought. Her eyes swung to the empty mound in the bed beside her, blinking before she realized that there was a sound coming from downstairs. Sindy swung her feet over the bed, not yet ready to get up and moving yet. She still needed her energy for the travel.

"Aiden? Is that you?"

Aiden has just finished making breakfast when he placed the food on two seprate plates and then he brought them to the table. Nothing that he was doing could take his mind off the fact that he was going to venture off into another planet. Slowly he was getting used to the situation but even still he was having difficulty coping with the things that were going on and what he was supposed to do.

Taking a deep breath Aiden walked back into the kitchen and then opened the fridge and brought the juice to the table and then the glasses. Looking out the window he wondered when SIndy was so he started up the stairs when he heard her voice. SMiling to himself he walked up the stair and then peeked his head into the room. " Yeah its me, come downstairs for some breakfast".

Heading back downstairs he turned on the tv and then sat at the table and watched the news. Mostly nothing was on because it was early so he switched to cartoons.

"Aiden!"

Her heart did a somersault or two when Aiden's head peeked through the door. Nearly forgetting that she was wearing nothing but a shirt, Sindy snapped up with a smile, her hair falling around her shoulders the second her feet plopped on the ground.

"Oh! That's where you were! I was wondering what happened to...uh...how long was I asleep?"she asked, standing up nonchalantly as if she weren't wearing anything but a shirt. Sindy tucked a strand of hair behind her ear and flashed another smile before following him back down the stairs. The carpet slid between the crevices of each of her toes and her grinned widened at the feel. Carpet was a new thing for her, as was the cotton in his shirt. There wasn't time for her to nitpick about every single little difference in the things between 2008 and Drixia. The smell of eggs hit her like a bulldozer of bricks, widening the smile on her cheeks.

"Woah, man...That doesn't smell like vacuumed food! I don't think I remember the last time I had a meal...cooked. It was during some exam at school I believe! It was grossosa though. We had this max tura thing called...what...loaf? Something? I don't know, but it was really grossosa." Once they got to the table, Sindy squealed when she saw the plates and food. Even though she had no idea what was lying there, she was still anxious to dig in. Sliding herself into a chair, she tapped at the brim of her cup filled with orange juice, lowering her eyes to the cup's level with a smile.

"I am so not believing this..."
