HUMANITY FOUNDATION LEVEL: EX

Welcome to Shrouded Heir of the Seven Hills: Constantinople!

————————

The deadline is closing in on Humanity, and the Human Order Foundation is still unstable. The Chaldea Security Organization is deploying to the seventh Singularity - Absolute Frontline in the War Against the Demonic Beasts: Babylonia - with the hope of entirely fixing the Greater History of Man. It's the last Singularity detected, after all. Demon God Flauros - Lev Lainur - laughs from the grave. It wasn't hard to hide an eighth Singularity entirely from Chaldea's sensors - he did have direct access to Global Environment Model CHALDEAS and Near-Future Observation Lens SHEBA, after all.

All is not lost, however. Just as in the previous Singularities, Humanity as a whole can assist. The Counter Force has deployed more Servants than ever before into the Singularity. Good, evil, doesn't matter. The Singularity must be resolved by any means necessary, or the destruction of Humanity is an absolute.

An indefinite reality like a Singularity, cut off from the Greater History of Man, is like a shadowy legend even to the Counter Force itself. The information the Counter Force can provide is scarce. But this is known: the date is 545 of the Common Era. Khosrau "the Immortal Soul," is Shahanshah of Persia. Justinian I is Emperor of Rome - of Greece, really. Constantiople stands as a wall, letting the mighty armies of Persia go no further. And further they have gone - to the soft, blue shores of the Bosphorus. And like a shadow in the night stalks the Plague, in an Egypt ascendant once again. A misplaced breath, and Western Civilization will shatter, and the hopes of man will pass into night.

In this RP, the characters are all "Servants" - ancient (or not so ancient) heroes with mighty abilities. They can be basically anything; real individuals from history, mythological heroes, even characters from stories. If you've got an idea and you're not sure if it will work, just ask! Canonical servants are also perfectly fine, though some won't work (because they're too powerful, which is to say, Archer/Caster Gilgamesh). Below is a character sheet.

Some notes:
"Class" refers to one of Seven Classes (or EXTRA classes; if you'd like to play one, please ask): Saber, a master of swords; Archer, a hero skilled with bow and arrow; Lancer, a spear master; Rider, a hero defined by their steed (alive or mechanical); Caster, a master of Magecraft; Assassin, a master killer; or Berserker, a hero defined by rage.
Stats and Skills are ranked from E to EX ranks, with +/- for when they vary in certain edge cases. Generally, you should have about one stat of each rank A to E, with EX only when a character is defined by that stat. For skills, it really doesn't matter. Class skills are listed below. If you make up a skill - which you should do - describe it; if the skill already exists, a description is unneeded.
"Luck" is the ability of a character to defy destiny. Basically, if somebody led the hero around by the nose, particularly a god or "fate," they'll have a low Luck stat. If somebody rebelled against destiny, they tend to have a high one.
The "Noble Phantasm" is the core of somebody's legend in a physical form - eg. Excalibur for King Arthur.

Noble Phantasm(s):
Name: Rho Aias
Title/Alternative Reading: The Seven Rings that Cover the Fiery Heavens
Rank: A+

Description: The great shield of Ajax, made of seven bull hides covered in bronze. Manifests as seven great shields, capped with the seven-petaled purple flower that grew at the place of her suicide. Boasts a near-absolute defense against thrown weapons.

Background: A proud warrior and royal of the island of Salamis, eldest daughter and heir of King Telamon. According to legend, she was the greatest hero of the Greeks at Troy after Achilles. Her massive shield was made of seven layers of hide of a bull, with a covering of bronze, which she used to great effect in slaying many Trojan heroes, and fighting Hector to a standstill. When Achilles died, Ajax desired to take up his armor, as it was magically forged by Hephaestus. Odysseus, however, was far more eloquent, and was awarded the armor. Possessed by fury, Ajax attempted to slay those who had awarded the armor, but Athena sent an illusion to her, causing her to instead slay crowds of sheep. When her fury faded and she realized what she had done, the shame overcame her, and she committed suicide.

@Shiki I don't know if you're still accepting OC at this point but if you do, I need a little help.

True Name: Lyudmila Pavlichenko

Class: Assassin

Alignment: Lawful Good

Appearance:
Mosin-Nagant (GFL).png

Stats

Strength: B

Endurance: C

Agility: B

Magical Energy: D

Luck: B

Class Skills:

-Presence Concealment: A. hides one's presence as a Servant. Become almost impossible to detect. The rank drops considerably when preparing to attack.

Personal Skills:

-Battle Continuation: B. Capable of fighting even after sustaining serious injury

-Sniper: A. This skill is related to her ability as a sniper in particular, including baiting, counter-sniping, and even faking death. As someone who is among the snipers with highest kill count, Assassin had proven that she was a highly skilled sniper.

Noble Phantasm(s):

Name: Lady Death.

Title/Alternative Reading: The One Who Hunts Down Soldiers of Evil Regime.

Rank: A

Type: Anti-Self.

Description: Lady Death is Assassin's achievement throughout her life as a sniper manifested as her Noble Phantasm. It took the form of the standard Mosin-Nagant used by Soviet snipers during World War II. A killing machine whose servitude was solely driven by her hatred toward Nazi regime that had brought strife and destruction toward her home country, Assassin was infamous for taking down 309 Axis soldiers, making her the sniper woman with the highest kill count in history. As her target were mostly German soldiers under the command of Nazi which she perceived as 'evil', this Noble Phantasm reflects this by allowing her to be more efficient at combat when hunting down a Heroic Spirit with 'Evil' alignment so long as this Noble Phantasm stays active. Normally, Assassin could only maintain this NP by 18 hours using her own mana pool and 24 hours if she pushes it, but she could also prolong it as long as 3 days with constant mana supply.

---

Name: Siege of Sevastopol.

Title/Alternative Reading: Final Battleground of the Beloved Lady Sniper.

Rank: EX

Type: Anti-Town.

Description: Supposedly a Reality Marble by itself, Assassin is unable to access the full extent of this Noble Phantasm as she was merely a name famously related to the siege rather than the original owner. Even then, as long as her true name and the nature of this Noble Phantasm are not revealed, she may deploy this NP as a pseudo-Reality Marble of sort. This Noble Phantasm allows her to materialize the concept of 'Sniper Battleground' into the entire city she was currently in. When active, the Noble Phantasm will form 'Blind Spots' throughout the zone it affected. If Assassin is within 'Blind Spots', it is impossible for anyone except for her Master to perceive her stats and skills, and the 'Blind Spots' would disturb any attempt of detecting her location, either via magecraft or through a much more normal means, by giving out false information through decoy detection. Any Magus outside the Noble Phantasm would perceive it as a Reality Marble. However, if her opponent successfully deduce the nature of this Noble Phantasm, its rank would be greatly decreased to a mere B-rank Noble Phantasm, allowing the revelation of her true name & her stats and the Noble Phantasm would no longer be perceived as a Reality Marble, although Assassin herself is still fully capable of deploying decoy while resting in the Blind Spot.

Personality: Assassin, a ruthless and effective killing machine she might be, is actually a rather nice person to hang around with. She is a good listener and a good teacher at heart. Assassin also enjoys the company of a man, whether it was out of her tomboyish nature or her instinct to love and be loved by someone of opposite sex. That being said, Assassin likes to talk about firearms, especially sniper rifles, and she is especially proud of her Mosin-Nagant. Aside for firearms, she is also surprisingly adept at history, and can be easily found strolling through the history section of any local library she was in. Even though she admits that it was entirely for 'academic purpose', Assassin is regardless still quite passionate about studying history, or even just studying in general. Speaking of which, though it brought her utmost joy, seeing people who enrolled into a university without any hindrance to their study also brings into her heart a sense of envy. Also, despite her love of discussing about firearms, she hates needless killing and actually despise war itself. She also greatly resents the Nazi, and would easily be triggered even at the slightest mention of it. Another rather unfortunate side of her is that she is an alcoholic, often sink herself in drunkenness while ranting about her misfortune in love and life.

Legend: Ever since her youth, Lyudmila Pavlichenko had proven herself to be a natural born sniper. Driven by her competitive nature, Pavlichenko followed various marksmanship activities, whether it was attending shooting clubs or entering shooting competitions, eventually earning her Voroshilov Sharpshooter badge. However, her true calling as a sniper began in 1942 in what she would later describe as "baptism of fire" where she killed the first two soldiers of her enemy.

Lyudmila's first real taste of war came in the form of Siege of Odessa, where she recorded as many as 187 kills. There is this one famous story where she was assigned to become a counter-sniper. She was on top of a tree's branch, observing her surrounding as she searched for her opponent, when suddenly she was shot by the enemy sniper. Though the bullet barely grazed her uniform, Lyudmila fell down from the tree as she pretended to be shot down. Then she waited until dark, and return to her camp safely. Her comrades, surprised that she was still alive, was utterly frightened. It was from there she would later be dubbed as 'Lady Death' due to her marksmanship skill.

Sevastopol would be the turning point of both her life and her legend. As the war went on, she would lose a lot of her friends and her health would deteriorate. Eventually the war took its toll on her when her lover and recently spouse Alexei Kitsenko died in war. From then on, her method of killing became more cruel and sadistic. She would often aim for the enemy soldier's feet, wounding them while baiting other would-be rescuer of the wounded soldier before killing both of them. And even when Sevastopol would later be overrun by the German, she continued fighting, only stopped when her body was ridden by shrapnel and unable to fight anymore.

Her legend as a sniper ends there, but life continues on for her, becoming a propagandist for Soviet throughout the rest of the war and finished her education in Kiev University after the war.
