This has, very likely, been done before. Yet, I'm new to Iwaku, so it's going to be all new to me.

Anywho, the prompt is simple: just post up a picture of your tattoo(s). And, if you feel so inclined, tell me the story behind the ink. I think tattoos such an interesting extension of one's being, and I love hearing the stories they tell.

[Twisted Dreamer]

It is the kanji symbol for strength. I know its not original, but its dear to my heart. I've been through a lot in my years of life and consider myself a strong person. And despite most of my family turning their noses down at my tat, I love it.
