Shirt

Guest
Hi, I'm Shirt. My passions include but are not limited to the performance and consumption of music, writing, any strange and weird concepts you might find anywhere, but especially in media. I'm not currently employed, so I possess vast amounts of free time and am a night owl. If you want a good read on my sense of humor, you should just tune into [adult swim] around midnight. My username was chosen because of my desire to be called "Shirt".

I've been roleplaying for 4 - 5 years. Most of my experience has come from sites that aren't particularly meant for roleplaying, or from small RP groups on Skype. Rarely ever do I do one-on-one RPs. I don't really believe that setting matters all that much to an RP, though I do enjoy ancient Egyptian, feudal far eastern, underwater, and space settings for the aesthetics. Roleplaying friends I've made include Black Dahlia, Almighty-Kuma, and Lethe. If you want to shoot me a message, don't be afraid to.

Every time I do it makes me laugh
How did our eyes get so red?
And what the hell is on Joey's head?

And this is where I grew up
I think the present owner fixed it up
I never knew we'd ever went without
The second floor is hard for sneaking out

And this is where I went to school
Most of the time had better things to do
Criminal record says I broke in twice
I must have done it half a dozen times

I wonder if it's too late
Should I go back and try to graduate?
Life's better now than it was back then
If I was them I wouldn't let me in

Oh, oh, oh
Oh, god, I

Every memory of looking out the back door
I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.
Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.

Remember the old arcade
Blew every dollar that we ever made
The cops hated us hangin' out
They say somebody went and burned it down

We used to listen to the radio
And sing along with every song we know
We said someday we'd find out how it feels
To sing to more than just the steering wheel

Kim's the first girl I kissed
I was so nervous that I nearly missed
She's had a couple of kids since then
I haven't seen her since god knows when

Oh, oh, oh

I miss that town
I miss the faces
You can't erase
You can't replace it
I miss it now
I can't believe it
So hard to stay
Too hard to leave it

If I could I relive those days
I know the one thing that would never change

Every memory of looking out the back door
I had the photo album spread out on my bedroom floor
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.
Every memory of walking out the front door
I found the photo of the friend that I was looking for
It's hard to say it, time to say it
Goodbye, goodbye.

Howdy-do there. I was wondering wear you were. Get it. Because shirt. Laugh, dammit

Hello Shirt! Welcome to Iwaku! I've never, myself, had the urge to be referred to as an article of clothing, but I do hope it's everything you hoped and imagined ;) Enjoy the site and have fun. If you have any questions just ask!

Hello there, Shirt! Your name sounds like a stroke of jean-ius to me, it's beyond satis-hat-ory. I hope you hang around, and have a fun tie-me on Iwaku.

Ohimgosh! It's a Shirt. What about the pants???

You flatter me.

I realized that I had forgotten to actually list genres of Roleplay that I enjoy.
  • Sci-fi horror. Stuff like System Shock, dig?
  • Absurdism and surrealism have always appealed to me, though most RPs take themselves too seriously to incorporate those. I'd like to attempt something with one of them.
  • Generic fantasy plots can be fun as well, as long as you attempt to do something new with them. Reverse the tropes.
  • I'm a large fan of city settings anywhere between the 1920s - 1980s. Industrial settings are rarely ever dreary, in my opinion.
  • Music related ideas can always be pitched to me, because there's nothing that I love more than music.
