Alexa ain't Sloth-style though. She isn't about dash attacks, she's about attack-spam.
True lol, still slightly annoying. I almost want a completely different character now xD one that's extremely immobile xD

The Index has been updated. Go check the Astopol entry to see some tidbits about their religion.

WAIT
I was reading through the thread
Someone mentioned a quicksilver blade...

Quicksilver... is mercury

Mercury is a liquid, and highly toxic

It would not be used for luxury items it would be used for poison, and it damned well can't be a blade unless it's some magically frozen thing.

I'd find a different metal.

Quicksilver = Quicksilver
Mercury = Mercury

Commonly known =/= is. Because this is not real world, and non-existent materials are a thing.

Quicksilver is also just a name.

Perhaps it has a different meaning in this context, because there's a metric ton of weapons in RPGs named 'quicksilver'.

"Stand back, I’ve got this!"
Araki Seclair
Opposed Madness

Age: 15
Gender: Male
Race: Crystalla

Physical Characteristics: 5’4 (1.63m) and 156 lb. (71kg). Blue eyes and black hair. Rather fair skinned for one of his race, his skin is just like any other Crystallas’ and will eventually be comparable to stone. While appearing no different from humans’, his skin has a slightly rough texture to it.

His build doesn’t hint at his weight in the slightest, but that’s because a substantial portion of Araki’s weight comes from the fusion of Allis to his bones. What remains of the original structure are but small patches at the top of his back. However they constantly emit a dull blue glow that forces him to dress in heavy attire.

Personality: Energetic but not outspoken, movement seems to be in Araki’s blood. Despite his inability to stay completely still, he’s rather attentive and doesn’t have any problems absorbing lessons; it’s just that he’ll probably be drumming his fingers or tapping his feet the entire time. While his parents have basically beat the naivete out of his head at a young age, he remains cautiously optimistic for the most part and enjoys making acquaintances.

Fighting seems like it would be a great way to burn off his excess energy, and he does enjoy it. Actually hurting others is something that he shies away from though, as can be clearly seen through his fighting style. Doesn’t seem to like swimming much either and will go to great lengths to avoid the activity if possible.

Biography: An older warrior couple and their squad were tasked to search the village for survivors, after the battalion led by Knight Captain Raske razed it.

Araki still remembers that name as a young man, because he was watching when his parents were killed. EDGE LA EDGE.

Partway through the journey back to Astopol, they sheared off his crystals, and that’s where he ate it. Needless to say, they panicked a bit, before realizing that it was probably just like biting someone’s nails and eating that. So they went back to Astopol with the kiddo bundled up.

Though the warrior couple’s house was big, it was also super empty when the both of them locked him up in the house and went out. One day, Araki managed to wriggle into his father’s library, and found some very…interesting texts. They were on magic, and, as a child, that was when he started learning about it.

Though his endeavors were hidden at first, it eventually came to light when Araki began magically opening doors and floating around in mid-air. Instead of scold him though, it was decided that he should live with his mother’s side of the family. And that side of the family really encouraged him to go to Gael Ericsson’s boarding house/school, because it’s an amazingly educationally diverse place.

He furthered his magical skills, while being kewl and shit.

As he grew older, he began having trouble sleeping, and thus, has become a wanderer of the night. It was through those night time escapades that he found out about the Dansilan Fight Club, a place that Gael frequented. That was pretty much where he began to develop his defensive sword arts.

After getting a champion title in that Fight Club, Gael decided to splurge and get Araki a pair of bucklers, because they were cheaper than gauntlets.

Rift Beast attacks. Araki helps bring it down, and attends the party afterwards. Raela goes berserk. Araki helps take her down. Doesn’t want to kill her though, so gets brought in for questioning by the guard captain.

With Inquisitors about to descend on Cykes Araki’s family punts him out of the city for his own sake. Hops onto an airship to go perform a rescue or something.

Personal Skills: They're rusty, but he has a good foundation when it comes to surviving the wilderness. Beyond that, he's a decent cook given he's a bit of a glutton and doesn't like to inconvenience others. Quite an amazing sense of balance really; enough that if turbulence is upsetting his footing, then the airship's probably hitting the ground fairly soon.

The fusion of Allis to his bones have not only made them more resilient, but also changed their function. While normally they function much like a rechargeable battery, in his case the Allis have formed superior pathways through his body. So while he lacks the "burst" or sudden surge of strength capabilities of his race, he's able to maintain a state of heightened performance for longer periods of time.

Equipment: One weeb Dansila outfit, a few inconspicuous sets of cltohing. For equipment he uses a pair of Talentium bucklers that can usually be found dangling from his waist. His hair tie is also a smooth Talentium weave meaning he's never completely without the material. Usually also carries a stress ball to play around with.

Magic: A fairly accomplished mage in his own right, Araki's a fairly decent telekinetic, capable of floating around and moving objects with his mind. His main specialty is based around water and ice magic though. He's skilled enough that he could qualify as a battlemage within an army, but he'd almost certainly be among the weaker individuals.

Sword Buckler Arts: The basis of Araki's arts are the unarmed techniques he learned when he was younger. An oddly fitting combination of martial and magical skill given the school he learnt was called the Flowing Water Stream Fist. The original principal involved establishing a zone around the user where they read the "flow" of anything that enters to respond and counter effectively. As one might expect it takes a great deal of focus and precision to do so, and thus users are generally stationary or heavily limited in movements.

As a "Sword Art" the principal hasn't really changed, but another layer has been added. While the zone created is much the same, Araki's fists are now enveloped in spheres of water. This creates a stream that flows behind each blow, reducing his openings, and the streams can lash out of his "zone" at will making his range harder to predict. If overwhelmed a quick rotation of his body can fill the zone with swirling water to shield him briefly.

Like a stream that gradually wears away the rock on that it flows, Araki's style is one that grows stronger the longer he's allowed to use it for. Though not in the way some people might expect. As he fights, the streams that follow his fists grow hazy and cold to the point where the water should long have frozen. The temperature around Araki quickly begins to drop, and a hit is enough to cover foes with frost and sap them of warmth.

Endless White Heaven: To those who manage to fight for so long, this Art is Araki's trump to try and end the battle without hurting his opponents too badly. By this point, the streams of water are more akin to tendrils of ice. Crashing the two together brings forth the deep cracking one might hear from a glacier before countless vines of ice burst forth and chase after the target. The slightest touch results in a burst of ice to form, and generally allows for additional vines to hit the target. This quickly freezes the target and their surroundings, and once fully frozen the targets slips into a form of stasis.

You'll start off with getting your asses off the Captain's glorious boat and arriving in Yuimas. Obvious shit.

@Psyker Landshark @Izurich @Voltin
You three are basically slaves. Izurich, Agatha would have been in captivity for four days now, while Ashe and Alexa, as well as their little friend, have just arrived.

More specifically, Agatha and her gang would have gotten outplayed by airship pirates, leading to Agatha's capture, her airship's loss of the ability to fly, as well as a host of injuries dealt to on her crewmates.

@Ehb @Wayward Killjoy
After separation with her mistress, Elaina, being the only member of the Lughanta that hadn't been injured in the scuffle, would have tracked down Agatha's kidnappers to Yuimas, having arrived a day or two prior to the start of the RP. If you think it's in-character for her, she may enlist the help of a bounty hunter/mercenary by the name of Jacts. If not, Jacts will be hired for another, less pleasant job.

@Asuras @Skyswimsky
You two are both Knight Errants currently undergoing the test of character that all Astopolian knights have to go through in order to officially be recognized by the Goddess and the Head Priestess. Because the mission you two have been given is basically 'do good and vanquish evil', you two decided to dive into a hive of scum and villainry (in this case, Yuimas) and do some heroism, like the attention-seeking whores you are.

Post rounds, currently, will be set to five days, with two extra days of Mercy. Every person can invoke Mercy three times. After that, said Mercy disappears, and I'll just move on without you. Chances are that I'd be more lenient to those who haven't needed my Mercy than those who had. XD

“’Tis a foolish action, to believe otherwise…”
Lyra Mauritania

Age:
20

Gender:
Female

Race:
Human

Physical Characteristics:
-5’5”
-120lbs
-Purple Hair
-Purple Eyes

  • Lyra is an eccentric girl. She maintains a cool, whimsical, almost aloof demeanor, and is often seemingly detached from immediate reality. An exceptionally intelligent individual, she is inquisitive, studious, and overly logical to a fault. She has a fleeting attention that sways by the wind, but all the same often fixates on particular goals and objects, holding to them more steadfast than a sailor clinging to a sinking ship.

She is quite socially inept; despite a proper upbringing, Lyra never had a great desire to participate in the many social gatherings that her family would attend, instead preferring to box herself up in her room or a library to read books. She’s read so much that she can almost literally cite a quote from a book down to its page and line. While conversations at length are rare, it is not uncommon for her to engage in discourse well after the topics have worn out their welcome. Despite being well-read, her real-world experience and street smarts are akin to that of a hamster, and often brings her misfortune or a vapid appearance in negotiations or social settings. It is not uncommon for her to bring a conversation to a screeching, awkward halt as a result of her failures to understand colloquial language and jokes. Unfortunately, she makes little effort in rectifying her shortcomings.

Lyra is woefully self-important, carrying a great ego that she makes little effort to hide. She walks a fine line between pride and arrogance, much of which is centered on her intellect and ability and less out of rank and social standing. Perhaps disillusioned, she thinks of herself so highly that she greatly fears death and actively seeks out methods to defeat it.

  • Lyra was born the fifth child of the Mauretania family, the second-most influential noble house in Illiserev. A well-established name on the continent, the Mauretania family is well known for its near ubiquitous domestic and overseas shipping empire. Spanning across all three nations with well-established trading routes via land, sea, and air, the South Illiserev Company dwarfs even that of the third largest house, belonging to the recently elevated Lord Braxton.

All of this meant that Lyra grew up in an exceptional childhood environment. While she wasn’t the most sociable of the girls at the banquets, she nonetheless became involved and connected with other peers and would come to develop with Agatha Nightingale, the daughter of the Mauritania’s preeminent builder of vessels. As the youngest daughter, she had no hope in inheriting the family titles, but influences by friends such as Agatha, she indulged in her thirst for knowledge and took higher education in Dansila under the auspices of her family.

Excelling in all her studies, she graduated early from one of the great schools of the academic nation at the top of her class. It was here that she developed her penchant for magic, and after finishing school, continued to stay in the capital city to continue her studies. Becoming quite the academically accomplished mage by the time she turned twenty, she has more recently turned her sights to Talze Utera, in the hopes of investigating forbidden knowledge to aid her goal of finding a means to immortality.

As it happened, a hastily penned letter arrived par avion as she prepared to depart. Written within was a plea for aid from Charlotte, an old childhood friend of the fallen Covinghall family to escape enslavement. Taking this request as a test of skills, Lyra instead set out to aid this friend. Unbeknownst to her, she’d already escaped and was actively planning her own rescue of a certain mutual friend named Alexa in an ironically similar development.

  • Lyra is more of a utilitarian magic user, and often uses magic for the mundane in addition to the usual matters. She aims to be as efficient as possible when executing spells, using the least amount of mana when possible and aiming for more practical spells. She has had a penchant for stringing together spells on the fly to create single large ones, preferring those to smaller spells in combat. This can occasionally lead to cumbersomely long spell sequences that can leave her defenseless. Almost always, however, she is still protected. Lyra specializes in defensive magic, and at the sound of combat, she’ll already have some manner of passive defensive ward or spell already in action. It’s almost like she has some sort of complex going on.

Along with her magic, she carries around a light talentium staff. Well adorned and ornately decorated, it serves its role well in channeling and aiding the flow of mana. It can also be used as a weapon, but any respectable Illiserev insurance companies will not touch it with a ten-foot pole if its decorations become marred.

A few examples of her spells include:

Lance Battery. Similar to artillery, this spell takes an extended period of time to set up, but has magnificent range and accuracy of a sniper when fully executed. The only significant siege weapon in her arsenal, it is made up of several smaller spells. She can conjure and fire up to three of these projectiles in this manner, but the spell can be used purely and quickly as a “broadside” of conjured lances without guidance. This fire mode is very mana intensive and is not something that can be spammed for very long.

Aegis. As the name suggests, this is a defensive spell. It is a quick-action spell that materializes a small translucent hexagonal plate of about similar size to a knight’s shield and has a mitigating power equal to a little over a knight’s shield. It can be cast multiple times to create up to six plates that can be locked together to form a single large shield, and moved around in a radius around the caster. The rigid structure of the shield, however, means that if one shield is broken, all the others are.

Manaward. This is an area of effect defensive spell. It creates a full invisible dome around a large area around the caster, in which incoming magical effects, hostile or otherwise, are significantly reduced or even mitigated completely. Unlike Aegis, the dome will form patches and holes if hit in the same spot repeatedly, and does not catastrophically collapse.

Areaward. This is also an area of effect spell. This spell must be created within a defined area, such as a house or room. It allows the caster to keep track of all individuals within the area of effect. It also alerts the caster and all individuals inside it if it is approached or significant mana expenditure has been detected.

Tulian.jpg

Well then, shall we get started?

Name: Tulian Reingard

The Deadly Rose

Age : Appears to be about 26 in human years.

Appearance :

Many have made the mistake of dismissing Tulian as a skilled fighter, a mistake that has often times proved deadly. What is most noticeable about Tulian, is not his battle prowess but his unnatural beauty. Even for an elf, one would expect such pleasing features to belong to a lovely young elven female, so you can imagine the shock of those who learn the truth. His royal blue hair is pulled into a long ponytail, reaching to his lower back with a swept bang that partially covers his unusual eyes. Like most elves, his eyes possess the heterochromia, however instead of having two eyes of different colors, the outer part of his iris's are blue while the inner is gold. Smooth facial features teeter on the small and delicate side, which merely add to his oddly feminine appearance. Even his long ears are somehow perfectly set. He is considered above average in height, standing at 6’ 1” and has a lithe and wiry frame.

In terms of dress, he is normally seen in a personalized garment that signifies his status as a Reingard slave. Because he is not one for fighting with heavy weapons and relies more on speed and agility, he wears little in the way of armor. More specifically, he can be seen sporting a high collard, faded crimson and gold embroidered vest. On the back of the vest is his master’s insignia. His lower half is clothed in fitted black trousers with gold trim, around his waist is a billowing gold sash and on his feet are a special pair of slippers infused with bits of Talentium.

Weapons : Being more of a hand to hand combatant, Tulian uses his hands and feet to deliver blows, however he does wear a pair of studded, fingerless gloves to impart more damage with his fists.

Magic Ability : Being an elf, he also has an affinity with nature and can use magic to communicate and to an extent, control certain aspects of it as well. Through the years, he has shown proficiency both in using magic alone and in conjunction with his arts.

Personality :

The trauma he has suffered combined with having lived as a slave for so many years, has withered part of his soul and it leaves him a little withdrawn. Although he’s suffered unspeakable persecution at the hands of others, surprisingly he has managed to maintain his humanity. But that doesn’t mean he isn’t bitter. He is soft spoken, poised, gentle, kind, and somewhat effeminate. He can also be callously blunt. It should be noted that contrary to his kind nature, he has no problems carrying out the duties assigned to him by his master. However, he takes no enjoyment in fighting and has been known to even apologize to his opponents before or after battle. He carries himself with both grace and elegance and utilizes these virtues on the battlefield as well. No one has ever seemed to make him angry, even after his enslavement but it is rumored that his wrath is unparalleled.

Biography :

Before the fall of Talze Utera, Tulian lived a relatively good life. Although the plight of the Rift Beasts caused problems for him and his people, at least they lived respectable lives. Some have told him he should count himself lucky that the elves survived the genocide but Tulian wonderes if that’s really such a good thing, especially when he sees what he and his people have to do in order to -survive-. The raid on his home had taken everyone by surprise and before his capture, Tulian found himself beaten and then, because of his desirable looks, passed around by a small group of soldiers. Once they were done having their way with him, he was locked up with the rest of his brethren. A year later, he was carted off to Illiserev, working in a brothel through no will of his own. After several failed escape attempts, which resulted in severe punishments, it finally sank in that his freedom was gone and there was no looking back.

He worked in the brothel for several years, earning himself a respectable clientele who praised not only his beauty but his natural grace and ability to perform even the most complicated dances. He was often put on stage in one of Astopol’s many theaters, to temporarily perform on behalf of his owner back in Illiserev. Although in many cases he was the star performer, any proceeds would go directly to the brothel, not towards his freedom. Eventually, a new patron by the name of Reingard decided he would purchase Tulian from the brothel to be his personal slave/servant. Things weren’t much different after he left the brothel, he still found himself having to -entertain- his new master and many times being offered to someone as payment in exchange for certain favors. Tulian’s master also took advantage of his other talents and had him trained as a sort of bodyguard, granting him a pair of Talentium infused shoes to help him in his new role.

Not a day goes by that Tulian doesn’t think about running away, but where would he go, and how far would he get before he was hunted down? Freedom, what a fanciful thing.

Magic: As an elf, Tulian has knowledge over a certain school of magic.

Nature Link – Allows Tulian to commune with the spirits of nature. A handy spell that can be used to track others or gather information. For example, if a stranger entered a forest, he would be able to obtain information on their direction or what said person did while there. The spell doesn’t work that well in densely populated areas, like cities or towns. He can also communicate with a wide range of wild animals and plant life. These lifeforms may or may not grant him assistance. Another example would be asking a tangled vine to recede from a structure or seeking the help of a falcon for spying.

Earth Elemental Magic – Without the use of Talentium, Tulian is able to manipulate small to moderate forms of earth such as rocks and boulders, and even the ground beneath his feet but with the Talentium boost, this power is magnified and becomes more precise.

Miasma – Tulian can release poisonous gasses from below the earth’s surface in small eruptions. This power also works anywhere where natural toxins are present, for example a swamp or in the midst of certain plant life. The gas usually affects people differently and rarely causes death unless someone is continuously exposed to it. Most times people inhale the "Poisonous gas" and suffer from blurred vision by tearing up uncontrollably or suffering from fatigue or lightheadedness.

Savage Heart – An effective spell when used against the right foe. The spell can be resisted but if it lands, it brings out the hidden feral nature inside all sentient things, reverting them to a berserker like rage for several minutes. The spell increases the targets natural strength, stamina and endurance. However, the target is unable to control themselves until the spell wears off. The spell is effective against mage type foes who are overcome with bloodlust and unable to fully concentrate on spells. It’s also useful against fighters who rely on precision and strategy as they are unable to fight intelligently. It’s not so good on targets who rely on brute strength as they become a living powerhouse.

Equipment: Besides the clothes on his back, Tulian wears light armor in the form of bracers and shin guards, which he uses to absorb some of the damage when he is forced to block an attack.

Combat Artes: Tulian is a hand to hand combatant and has little use for weapons, as such he excels at close ranged fighting and benefits from taking on opponents in close quarters. Being a naturally quick and agile dancer, his Talentium enhancement allows him to dodge and maneuver around attacks in a way that would seem impossible. Many times it looks as if he is dancing with his opponent, creating a beautiful yet deadly display.

Gravity Artes: This ability allows Tulian to change the mass of his body at will. He can make himself as light as a feather or as heavy as iron. The ability not only applies to his entire body, he can use it to only effect his limbs as well. For example, if a kick connects with his opponent, he can adjust its mass at just the right moment to deliver a devastating blow. Since he can also make himself lighter, he is just as comfortable fighting in the air, changing his mass at just the right moments to allow himself more altitude or maneuvering space. The key to this technique is timing, otherwise his ability would work against him and weigh him down or throw him off balance.

Endless Road: By combining his fighting style with his ability to manipulate earth, he can incorporate it into his attacks by shifting chunks of earth, hurling boulders at his opponents, causing tremors or erecting stone barriers. This ability only works if there is a significant amount of earth that he is in contact with. Useful for dealing with ranged attackers.

Spider’s Kiss: This arte allows him to combine his fighting style with the miasma spell. Each blow has the chance of “poisoning” his target. This ability is weaker than the miasma spell and its duration is significantly reduced but it does allow for temporarily disabling his opponent’s senses, long enough to try and turn the tides of battle.

Libra Strike: Basically a reversal of his Gravity Artes, which allows him to change the mass of his opponents by striking the desired area. Repeated strikes in the same area adds to the arte's effectiveness. This arte is useful for temporarily disrupting his opponent’s attacks and throwing them off balance.

Skills: His ultimate move meant to end a battle in his favor.

Perfect Harmony: Similar to the legendary 6 winged style but nowhere near as powerful, Tulian performs a beautiful dance that accelerates his movements to create a mirror image of himself. Both Tulians work in complete synchronization, delivering a flurry of coordinated punches and kicks to overwhelm his opponent. Tulian's offensive power is split between the two. The move ends differently depending on the circumstances but usually finishes with a shining fist or kick where both Tulian’s merge together again.

Whew! Ok, I tweaked what I had in mind for my character's abilities a bit. Please let me know what changes I need to make. Thanks! ^_^

"I can break through."
Ralfy, Slugger

Appearance
Dark black hair, and piercing green eyes, sit on a slim, muscular body. Her dress is nothing more than a piece of leather studded armor, and cloth pants. She is a young Crystalla at the age of 35, and appears like a 16 year old girl, save the fact that she stands approximately 6'3, and has the trademark Crystal structures of the Crystalla across her back. They are not fully developed yet, as she has only been alive a fraction of what most Crystallas have lived. She has a large scar across her left cheek under her eye.

Personality
Ralfy likes to keep things simple. She doesn't try too hard at anything, aside from when she trains. Her carefree attitude and lack of responsibility often lead to her being yelled at. Ralfy is an odd girl, as she loves to see things go smash. The reason for this is because she is not the brightest of people. Now she is not "Me smash" but she does enjoy doing what she's good at, and being a learned scholar is not one of those things. She can be crude at times, and often will punch someone for saying something even slightly offensive... Or even if she thinks they're funny. In combat, she is arrogant, cocky, and just plain brutal. She's not afraid to fight dirty in any way, and will often sucker punch an enemy or two, without any regards for "Honor."

Biography
She was only a young Crystalla around the age of only 23 at the time. This was twelve years ago, back when the Crystallas were being hunted by the Rift Beasts. Ralfia was on the run at her small age. Her entire village was nearly eradicated, and now they sought to kill her, for her Allis that sprouted from her back. She ran as fast as she could, hoping not to be caught by these hunters, who desperately sought her in order to kill the Rift-Beasts. She wouldn't stop running. Eventually the hunters gave up, as her Allis was still severely underdeveloped, but she didn't care. She just kept running.

Eventually she was too exhausted to continue and fell to her knees, out of breath, and gasping for water. It had been by chance that she had found herself staring into the face of a young woman who appeared the same age as her(In human years). The teen was just staring at her, completely awe-struck. Who was this strange girl that stood before her? Ralfy muttered a single word, "Help..." Then everything turned black.

She awoke some time later, wrapped up in a blanket with a towel across her head. She sat upright, completely confused. It was that girl from before who she had seen. Had she done this?... The girl asked how she was doing. All Ralfy could do was nod. The girl smiled, and said she was glad she could help.

A week later Ralfy was helping the girl, Syrina, around her little hut. Apparently Ralfy was only a day's walk from Astopol. That's why this girl was able to live here all alone. Her father had joined the army in hopes of defeating the rift beasts. This left his daughter at home, though she was quite capable of fending for herself. She was a mage, in training actually. So naturally she began teaching her new best friend magic. Of course Ralfy never really seemed to pick up on anything super complex, it always just went over her head. However, Ralfy was a natural with Telekinetic powers. So much so that she was able to fling this across the yard at high speeds and bring them back at the same speed, then stop them in their tracks.

6 years went by, and the two became the best of friends. The two were drastically different though, as Syrina was a Well-Learned mage, and Ralfy, a brute force brawler. They spent every moment they could together, until one day, Syrina received a message from Astopol. She was being summoned to begin work on Runic Magic Technology. Runetech. This was the opportunity that she had been waiting for. But what of her friend? What of Ralfy? It was time for Syrina to go. After all, she didn't have as much time as the Crystalla. She was already a grown woman, and Ralfy, well Ralfy was still growing up. Of course Ralfy knew that Syrina would never leave her.

It was late that night, and Ralfy was slipping out the front door, leaving only a note telling her friend to go to Astopol, and succeed. Ralfy was a different person than what she was the day she had arrived. Now she was much stronger, more capable of handling herself. She walked for days before encountering a village. Upon entering, everyone was in awe of the being that stood before them. A Crystalla. They had been hunted to nearly extinction over the past six years, and once the first Rift-Beast was slain, the hunt slowly began to die down. Now, Talentium was everywhere, allowing the Rift-Beasts to be slain effectively.

When Ralfy heard the story of why her race was hunted, she was angry. Anyone would be angry, of course, and though she was angry at the Hunters, she was more angry at these beasts that were terrorizing the land. It was their existence that lead to the hunt. The hunt might have never happened had they never appeared. So what did Ralfy decide to do? She began working as a miner for several years, trying to earn enough money to become a Rift-Slayer. Once she had accumulated enough, she payed for a massive blade, taller than herself to be constructed. In that remaining time, she trained, and hunted the beasts responsible for her race's disappearance.

Magic
Ralfy has never been one for super complicated and intricate fighting styles. Her choice of magic also represents this, specializing only in Telekinesis, and what she likes to call "Force." Force is a sub-magic of telekinesis essentially involving two things: Push and Pull. However, due to the simplicity of this magic, it can prove to be quite powerful as it doesn't require as much thought, focus and energy that say, channeling lightning would.

The spells she uses in combat would be something along the lines of:

Repel: A strong force pushes the object away from the user. Can be used on a singular object, or in a burst in order to stop advancing projectiles or charging enemies.
Attract: A strong pull that sends something flying her direction, often used to bring an enemy closer for a strike
Telekinesis: Combining her telekinetic powers with her other two spells, Ralfy can turn nearly anything into a powerful projectile.

Sword Arts
Really these should be called axe arts, as her sword is just so incredibly massive that it might as well be an axe. In any case, she uses her Magic to pull enemies towards her, send them flying, and other more badass things. And while they are technically "Arts" they are of her own design, due to the simplicity of her techniques, it was not too difficult to come up with them, and are not nearly as pretty as most Arts.

Essentially her Arts boil down to sudden, high impact blows that cause massive damage. She has dubbed her technique, Force Cleave, using the push and pull that she has to draw in enemies, send them flying, increase the force of her own swings, and . She personally is a stationary fighter, usually not one to chase the enemy though she will on occasionally.

Examples of her Arts would be like pulling an opponent into a swing, or sending them flying on hit. They are also not limited to ground attacks, and can result in some devastating aerials.

Pinwheel Force
Sometimes it's just too many for her to take on in physical combat, so when that moment arises, she calls forth the power of Talentium, to allow her the strength and magical know-how to accomplish this feat. First, her strength is heightened, allowing for her to hurl her massive blade. But it doesn't stop there. Her telekinesis is combined with her push and pull, creating an ever-spinning blade which has enough force to clear cut a forest. This blade can hover in one stationary spot as she forces people into it, or she can move it with her telekinesis, and force.
Hey I finished. Have a Wall who uses the Force.

Just pointing out that it wasn't the Rift Beasts who hunted the Crystallas down, at least not intentionally since they sort of just killed everything and anything. They were mostly killed off by the other nations when they went through Talze Utera on their monster purge, and if Ralfy has the defining crystals of a Crystalla? Yeah, don't expect her life expectancy to be very long.
While the continent still reeled from this invasion, Astopol’s crusaders gained the allegiance of Illiserev and Dansila.
They attacked Talze Utera, enacting a genocide that wiped out almost the entire population. For only a nest of monsters could bring forth a new generation of them.
