Hi friends! My name is Monroe and I have a few ideas I need partners for! If you take an interest in any of the below ideas I will PM you sheets for my characters.
My requirements:
-Please don't join the RP, and then drop it right in the middle. It bugs me when people only post once, or post a few times and then just leave.
-Please be advanced. At least four paragraphs per post with good spelling, grammar, and detail. I can make exceptions at times. This is a big thing for me. I get annoyed when people can't do this. I don't mind a few screw ups, but if you 'typ LIek diss' and don't use decent capitalization and punctuation, or use long run on sentences I'll most likely drop the thread or ignore the request to RP with me. Everyone makes mistakes, and I understand that, but if you can't manage basic grammar then please don't ask to RP with me. If you can't think of what to reply with, PM me and I can add a bit more. I would prefer you to match my length.

Now, onto the ideas!
My character (Eva) is a transgender woman. You would play her mother. When Eva was a teenager her mother, an army nurse, contracted a strange illness after she accidentally pricked herself with a used needle. During this time she grew extremely weak and wouldn't allow Eva (who she then knew as Eric) to touch her for fear that she might contract the same illness. A few months later, she was sent to a specialist far from her family in hopes that they might be able to do something for her.
Eva was told that her mother had died near the end of the year, when in reality the woman had slowly begun to recover. Eva's father, a military man of high rank, took his son and fled the house, giving the excuse that it reminded him too much of his wife. In reality, Eva's mother had recovered, and her father had decided to abandon her along with their only child. Her mother attempted to contact Eva through letters, none of which she ever received.
After receiving no response for nearly fifteen years, she began to suspect that something was up and search for her son before turning up on Eva's doorstep in the start of the RP. The pair haven't seen one another since just after Eva's mother got sick, long before Eva's transition. She had no idea that Eva was transgender, as Eva never even hinted at it and by the time she came out she was under the impression that her mother was dead. In the period of time since then Eva got married and she and her wife took in 3 queer teenagers who were rejected by their families. I don't have much that's already set for Eva's mother aside from what I mentioned in the description, the fact that her name is Halle, she worked as a military nurse for at least the first fifteen years of Eva's life and some time before that, attempted to teach Eva piano at one point, and she probably looks somewhat similar to Eva Everything else is up to you.

Two transgender women who performed as drag queens in a local bar, Kennedy had fled home to get away from her abusive brother, and Eva was kicked out by a father who didn't support her transition. They fell in love, and several years later, took in three queer teenagers who had been abandoned by their families, Jupiter, Hugo, and Ronan.
Deciding that they wanted to adopt again through a more traditional route, and a few weeks later they visited with a social worker at a foster home. The couple took a seat, and explained to the agent that they were looking to adopt a young child so they could enjoy the experience of raising a child. The agent had pulled out the files of multiple children and was discussing which one they thought would fit the best in their household when the door to the woman's office opened, revealing two children.
Approximately twelve years old, they appeared to be twins, mangy and dressed in flimsy clothing that was barely suitable for the cold winter winds blowing outside. While the agent quickly moved to talk with them (it appeared that they'd been left with a new home a month or so prior and had ran away to come back to the facility), and Eva and Kennedy knew immediately that they needed to take these children, whose timid demeanor reminded them so much of Hugo, their youngest son.
The social worker explained that the pair had been rescued from an abusing household many years ago, and not a single household they'd been placed in since had been suitable. They were close to needing to be separated to find homes. She warned that the twins might be difficult to care for due to all of their issues, but Eva and Kennedy signed the papers anyway.
The next week, the twins arrived at their large house, looking just as ragged and dirty as the last time the couple had seen them. The children were timid and wary. The couple were determined to help the children work through their trauma and provide them with a good proper home where they could finally be safe and loved.

My character (Caitlyn) is a fire eater and cook in a traveling circus, as well as a single mother to Ryan, who is intersex, and adopted daughters Ivy and Lacey, who are conjoined twins. My idea is that your character and Caitlyn had a short romance almost eighteen years ago. The pair fell in love quickly, and both were crushed when the circus finally moved on after a week. They kept in touch for a while, but shortly after leaving, Caitlyn found that she was pregnant with your characters child (Ryan). She cut off all contact with him, not wanting to worry or inconvenience him with the news, but to allow him to move on with his life without her. Your character was crushed when he stopped hearing from her, but never really forgot about her. Now the circus she performed in is back near him again and he goes to watch the show in hopes of seeing her again, with no knowledge of the fact that she is now raising his child. When they meet up again, he is overjoyed, but anxious once she tells him about their child, even more so when he learns that Ryan has no distinguishable gender, neither physically or in terms of identity. He makes up his mind that he wants to stay with Caitlyn, and makes himself useful by helping her with kitchen duties. He feels guilty for missing so much of Ryan's life, but is mostly unsure how to treat them due to the fact that he knows he would treat a son differently than a daughter, and Ryan is a mix of both. This would be both a romance and family drama plot. I was also thinking that at some point Caitlyn would eventually die and our characters would have to cope with that.
My main character (Marilyn) is a transgender prostitute who was kicked out by her family at eighteen and used prostitution to support herself. Most of her clients were men with the occasional woman here or there. Your character would be a girl of around 12 who was the result of one of Marilyn's one night stands with a woman. My character is–biologically–her father. Your character stayed with her mother and mother's husband, with the deal being that Marilyn could send letters, but not see the girl, as they were both afraid of what would happen if she grew too attached to Marilyn and something happened to Marilyn. Your character's stepfather knew he wasn't her father, even though he was never told. He was abusive to his wife as well as your character. As a result, your character's mother left the family, and left your character with her stepfather, never contacting her again. He confiscated every letter Marilyn sent, and has been doing so since your character's birth. Before she left, your character's mother told your character about Marilyn, and where to find her. One night, after a particularly brutal assault by her stepfather, she runs away and appears at the door to Marilyn's motel room.
