I'm attempting to start a science-fiction RP based on the premise of Earth being taken over by aliens. The problem is, I know very little about real technology, let alone how to explain some kind of alien technology and make it sound real/plausible. So if there's anyone with experience in the realm of science fiction who'd like to help me run this, I'd really, really, REALLY appreciate it.
