Character Quote: Half breed? You mean a new point of view. I can see things in ways pure breeds can never percieve.
Name: Eile Fon Lavin
Nation of Birth: Dedegear, Talze Utera
Height: 170cm
Race: Half breed Tanuki (Japanese Raccoon) and Succubus.
Personality: Eile stands confident with a charming down to earth personality that befits her Tanuki half of her bloodline. She can put people at ease by how relaxed she can be and through that, children loves to play with her. Her succubus side, however, gives her a flirtatious attitude that can make both men and women blush if she wanted them to. Regardless of sexual orientation, Eile's silver tongue can leave some hot under the collar. Both personality fades away in combat as it is replaced with a confident aura that helps eases others worry and boost morale.
Biography: Born into the family of Tanuki and Succubus, Eile's noted birth as a half breed sparked discrimination outside of her family within the area that would become the capitol of Dedegear in 13 years. Many called such births filthy while others simply did not care enough to bother themselves with such matters. Never the less, Eile's parents and extended family stood behind her as she learned quickly about the unique position she was literally born into.
Around the age of 13, Eile was brought into training in the ways of Ninjutsu through her father. It was during this time that a rift opened near the capitol. With the capitol in the early stages of setting up it's government and it's boarders, it fell upon the citizens to defend the capitol, many of which gladly took the opportunity to defend if only to fight. Eile was forced to safety with others of the same age near a weapon's shop. But the discrimination and fear of her led many of the citizen to deny her safety and forced her out of the shop with only the Talentium Shuriken to defend herself with. With no safe haven to hide from the rift monsters, Eile did the only thing she could do. She fought. She fought for her life as the rift monster's number slowly decreased until no rift monster were left alive. Many people that saw her fight were struck with fear.
That fear came to fruition one year later at the age of 14. It was then that Eile's wings has sprouted and grew. Taking one look at her, one of the elders declared that she was the person that brought the rift monsters to the capitol. Eile tried to allay the fear that was quickly spreading, but it was all in vain. A few days later, a decree came that called for Eile's immediate exile from the capitol. With no power to overturn the capitol ruling, Eile was forced out from her home. It was outside of the capitol that Eile swore vengeance upon those who exiled her.
Three years has passed since Eile's exile from Dedegear. Now at age 17, Eile came across a random succubus tribe under attack by rift monsters. Easily dispatching the rift monsters, Eile started to wander away when one of the tribe elders inquired about her bloodline. Eile answered that she was a Tanuki and succubus. That led to the next statement of an offer. The offer was that she could stay with the tribe and learn magic from them until she was ready to move on out in return of protection during her stay. Surprised, Eile accepted the offer since her current training with her father was cut short due to her exile. The tribe elder ushered her into her home where she stated that she knew Eile's mother. Holding out a letter, Eile took it and read up on how her mother asked the tribe elder to protect and train Eile.
Two years passed as Eile soon found herself preparing to leave the succubus tribe she quickly called home at the age of 19. The tribe elder called Eile over for a talk.
"People will always fear what they don't know. From fear stems anger and from anger sprouts hatred. Your lineage is proof of that. Often, it falls on people like you to show the errors of their hatred. Your father have taught you how to fight. Your mother and my tribe have taught you pride in yourself and your bloodline in the face of those who oppose half-breeds. It now falls onto you to change the perception of half-breeds."
"How? How can I do that if I couldn't even do that within the capitol?"
"Change the person. If you change the person's view, you can change the perception. The first way to start is to change how people looks at you through your clothing."
The tribe elder pulled out a small package that contained her new clothing. Eile smiled a bit at the last portion of the message as Eile accepted the clothing. Soon enough, the next day, Eile found children and the parents of those children at the tribe entrance as they each gave Eile a little something to help her on her travels. With her head held high, Eile set off again. This time to change the perception that surrounds half-breeds.
Skills: Decent Cook, First Aid/CPR, knowledge of various poisons and paralytic agents.
Sword Skills/Arts/Magics/Other:
Fighting Style: Ninjutsu: This fighting style is based around the premise of deception through speed and illusions. As such, practitioners of the art are often never standing in one spot for very long and often lobbing various poisons and paralytic agents that laced their weapons while attacking with both range and melee attacks with and without their weapons if they are not blessed with magic. Those who are blessed with magic makes use of illusions and attack magic in junction with the poisons, paralytic agents, weapon training and hand to hand combat turning an already formidable warrior into a dangerous warrior that is not to be underestimated.
Magic: Shadows of Shadows: Whenever Eile attacks via weapons or magic, a shadow of herself attacks with the same attack a few milliseconds later. This allows her to 'chain' attacks together and changes depending on the sword art. This magic also allows the shuriken to return to the owner like a boomerang. This magic also slightly speeds Eile up. It's not a drastic speed up, but it is enough to make her look like a blur to the everyday warrior (aka any npc).
Sword Art: Blinding Strike (Linked with Shadows of Shadows) This ranged attacks sends the Shuriken out at the enemy. If it hits, the enemy will be blinded by a sudden burst of light. If Shadows of Shadows is active, the attack just needs to land near the enemy to trigger. In addition, a loud burst disrupts the enemy's hearing capabilities for a few seconds afterwards.
Sword Art: Shadow Strike: (Linked with Shadow of Shadows) This melee attack strikes the enemy and forces the enemy back a three yards. If Shadows of Shadows is active, the follow-up attack is a ranged attack that knocks the enemy back another three yards.
Sword Art: Dark Resent: (Linked with Shadow of Shadows) This ranged attack sends the shuriken into the air before the shuriken's shadow strikes the enemy's shadow. Damage dealt through the shadow appears on the enemy. If Shadow of Shadows is active, two shadows of the shuriken attacks instead of one. (Note: This Sword Art can't kill. At best, it leaves sizable wounds.)
Sword Art: Mirage Blast: (Linked with Shadow of Shadows) This melee attack strikes the enemy as the enemy is ensnared by an illusion of being hit with a powerful strike. If Shadow of Shadows is active, the illusion of being hit with a powerful strike becomes reality.
Sword Art: Shadow Illusion: (Linked with Shadow of Shadows) This attack turns the user's shadow into a doppelganger of the user that attacks. If it is struck, the enemy is bound in place for a few seconds. If Shadow of Shadows is active, the shadow blinds the attacker upon being struck before binding the attacker.
Equipment: Her clothing (specific color is that of the drawing).
One Talentium Shuriken.
One cleaning kit for the Taletium Shuriken.
One bag full of various poisons and paralytic agents.
Likes: Exploring the culture, tasting new foods, Pets, Fine Arts

Alright things to note.

Succubus are strictly spirits, which are summoned by witches to collect semen from men and deposit it to the witches themselves. They don't have the ability to reproduce by themselves. Change the half-succubus-ness into something else.

Talze Utera is a vicious, immoral, merciless place. Because of that though, they also don't give a fuck at all whether you're a half, a pure, or whatever. The issues with her hybrid nature would, at most, ONLY exist within the tanuki culture. No other race would care about her, unless they wanted to eat her.

The whole timeline in your backstory, by the way, doesn't make much sense at all. Here's basically how it went...

She was born 19 years ago.

Jeualian Empire attacked 15 years ago. She is four years old. On the same year, rift beasts appeared and Talentium was discovered.

For 12 years, there was relative peace, but rift beasts were still popping up. She is 16 years old. The short God Slayer war thing happened.

On the 13th year, when she was 17, the conference was held and concluded. Only THEN was there plans to start making Dedegear the capital of Talze Utera.

Two more years passed, and the RP begins.

See how your backstory clashes?

Now, onto Sword Arts. The everyday warrior, now, are Talentium wielders. She also is not a Sword Skills user, meaning that she won't 'start off' as superhumanly fast. So no, she won't be appearing as a blur to any NPCs.

If her Shadow of Shadows mimicks her attacks, note that it will double her energy/mana expenditure. Just keep that in mind.

For her illusions, I will make it so that it only effects humanoid eyes, and does not pervade any other senses. So it's less effective against someone who's blind, or who's gone berserk, or who isn't remotely human. Other than that, it's fine. How big's the Shuriken?

Elizabeth Getshiru

Character Quote: "The strong must prey on the weak."

Age: 103
Nation of Birth: Talze Utera
Height: 5'1"
Race: Vampire

Personality: She prefers to observe the world from afar, usually scanning for her next meal and has a tenancy to get extremely aggressive if she doesn't feed for a certain amount of time, often leading to her becoming unpredictable around humans. Once satisfied, she's more tolerable towards humans to the point where she will associate herself with them, though she still retains her cold, emotionless gaze.
Elizabeth prefers not to battle in fear of losing control, in which case she lashes out at anyone who gets in her way of killing whoever made her draw blood. Few things can break her out of her blood lust.

Biography: From a very young age she had been told not to trust humans, saying that they would turn on them, seeing them as monsters once again. Secretly she had been sneaking off to the outskirts of Talze Utera to meet her friend who happened to be human. They'd play for hours, running through the grasses and rolling down the hills until one day she was followed by one of her own. Upon seeing the human he immediately began stalking around him, practising what he had been taught. Elizabeth bared her fangs at her kin, defending her friend. It hurts her to remember how he accidentally cut her and how she pounced on him and began to shred his flesh. When she finally regained herself, her hands and face covered in blood, she noticed her friend face down behind her, his own blood pooling under his limp body. He had gotten in the way.

The Elders had noticed her disappearance and the fact she had returned covered in blood, human blood. They immediately assumed she had been out hunting and celebrated her first successful kill with offering her a human to feed on. It was a privileged to receive any gifts from the Elder Vampires and unable to deny the offering she fed. Before this time she had fed on only animal's blood, unable to bear the thought of killing a human. She was nothing more then a disappointment. Now, that had changed, she had changed. She felt the warm liquid run down her throat and she gulped down every last drop. On that night something awoke within her, something that craved blood.

As the Rift-Beasts began to appear and Talze Utera shut itself off from the rest of the world, the blood supplies dwindled. Elizabeth became more and more aggressive, often lashing out at her own kind and feeding on their blood instead, no matter how bitter it tasted. Having slaughtered a good handful of her own kin she left the safety of Talze Utera and stalked slowly towards the smell of new blood, shrouding herself with darkness to avoid confrontation with any Rift- beasts that might be lurking in the vicinity. The more she fed on the human corpses that were strewn over the countless battlefields, the more the feeling inside of her subsided and she regained what small piece of human she had left inside. With this she began to re-associate herself into human society, only ever feeding when she felt herself slipping away.

With the discovery of Talentium and the Rift-Beasts being kept at bay, society resumed as usual and Elizabeth, being accepted as a human and not a monster, came to be in Illiserev, where she helped to plant crops and revive the desolate battlefields. Going back to feeding on animals, she was back to how she had been when she was younger, not wishing harm upon them. Unfortunately the end of the Talentless Strife meant that Talze Utera's residents were able to hunt again and with the already unstable relationships between humans and vampires she was forced out of Illiserev when humans began to go missing. With nowhere else to go she returned home, devoting herself to mastering her affinity with darkness which she had been neglecting whilst she was 'playing human' as her kin called it. She was once again a disappointment and thus ignored, being seen as a lesser being. One vampire however, shared her affinity and took it upon himself to teach her how to use and control hers properly.

Years crept past and Elizabeth had become exceptionally good controlling her affinity and found a place back with her kin, no longer being seen as a human. Her master and her would wandered out daily to collect ingredients for his alchemy that he had recently taken up, searching through nearby forests on the edges of Illiserev for specific toadstools and truffles. One day, which she remembers vividly, there were some soldiers scouting the forest, no doubt looking for Empire spies. The commander of the squad spotted them, recognising Elizabeth as a vampire and him, reluctant to respect the decision that vampires weren't monsters, ordered his men to attack. The battle was short and the humans were no match for the two of them apart from the commander who wielded a Talentium sword. His strength was unbelievable, that of which she had never seen before. Talze Utera had nothing like this within its borders and if it did it was kept well away from her. Still in awe at his strength the commander easily cut through her master, his body slumping to the ground as the human turned his sights on her. Elizabeth began to feel a sensation within her, something she hadn't felt since she was young. The commander smirked, his skin red with his own blood that trickled from the shallow cuts her master had inflicted. She bared her fangs, her eyes turning from their usual ice blue colour to blood red. The beast once again woke.

In the end she was victorious, the human's flesh shredded and blood drained. With her human and vampire sides balanced, she grabbed the Talentium sword, stabbing it down into the chest of the corpse that lay at her feet. "Never again will I trust your kind. YOU are the true monsters."

Skills: A heightened sense of smell... For blood. Through this she gets a rough idea of who or what it belongs to.
She enjoys climbing trees and does it quite well though she usually gets stuck if she goes too high.
Has a basic knowledge on the flora that surrounds Illiserev, able to identify safe and toxic plants. Eventually.
Sword Skills/Magic: Upon becoming a vampire she has gained an affinity for manipulating darkness and shadows, often using it to shroud herself from the world. Through must practice she considers herself to be quite skilled in wielding it.
Equipment: The only thing she carries is her Talentium greatsword 'Soul', though she rarely uses it unless she is in serious trouble.

In regards to her history...Talze Utera is a scary-ass place. I doubt any human child would want to go near there, so she'd be going outside of Talze Utera entirely if she wanted to see the human boy. Also, vampires can sorta turn in bats and just fly away from a crazy, bloodthirsty enemy vampire...but I'll chalk it up as her stalker not knowing how to do that.

Interestingly enough, it's perfectly acceptable for vampires to drink the blood of non-humans. After all, Talze Utera itself doesn't have that many humans, so you should probably say something more along the lines of...she never drank the blood of a sentient, self-aware being. Basically, never killed something close to a human.

By the time the peace was announced, the majority of soldiers possessed Talentium. It was a commonplace thing, so yeah...you might want to change a few details in that last bit. It isn't uncommon for decommissioned soldiers to go rogue and search for a fight to die in. Was actually quite a bit of a problem.

Her hypocrisy is real though. Like, damn, what goes around comes around. XD

What was she doing when the God Slayer mustered up all the vamps to go to war? Can't really ignore someone who killed all the vampire Elders and crowned himself an absolute king, after all.

Go into detail about what you mean by shadow magic. Because there's a lot of different interpretations on what it is. Such as the super useless variation of manipulating shadows to create animal shapes during campfire games.

Note that, physically, it would be something like this...
Talentium buffed human = Talentium buffed vampire > Vampire > Human.

Also note that most vampires are turned at a very young age. As in, when a vampire couple wants a child, they will go and steal a baby, vampirize it, and then raise it as their own. Vampires lack the ability to reproduce sexually, which is either good or bad, depending on how you think it is.

"I think I'd kill myself before I start taking myself seriously."

Name:
Liese Lanoue

Nation of Birth:
Dansila

Height:
5' 6"

Race:
Witch

Personality:
Liese is generally mild mannered, even-minded, and respectable. It can be said in this regard that she does not have a particularly stand-out personality, but not so much that she appears reserved. She's pleasant and agreeable but that is not to say she isn't capable of her own brand of insults and snide remarks, and she can be prone to being rather blunt and frank in her opinions. She is unafraid to express such thoughts thoroughly, although Liese tends to know where the boundaries are and stop well before approaching them.

Liese is direct when spoken to, looks people in the eyes, and while amicable, still has an air that tells you not to mess with her.

More often than not, she simply goes along with whatever life hits her with. She would be perfectly content with sitting idle at home for extended times, or with going out and actively performing duties. It is very rare for her to object to something outright, and if she does, it is usually on moral grounds or if something is patently ridiculous. She is always true to her word, and will always honor a promise, even should it end up harming her.

Biography:

Liese was born a single child to quite a normal family, or at least that was what it seemed to be for the first three quarters of her life. Her father was a retired military officer turned archivist, and her mother, an immigrant from a foreign land, worked at a prominent university as its head librarian. Her family never had any pressing financial concerns, and their modest lifestyle and abode placed them firmly in the middle class. They had a small house near the universities in Cykes, a convenient location for her entire family. For all intents and purposes, they were the very model of upstanding Dansilan citizens.

She had a normal education in Dansila, and made it to one of the great universities on her own merit. Interestingly enough, a certain student named Lyra Mauritania was in her year, and was one of a handful of students from that class alongside Liese to graduate early. Liese was a good student, but not a particularly or notably studious one. She would only study before exams and do the normal amount of practice for demonstrations, a tactic that seemed to have paid off in the end regardless, as she graduated early with honors.

Of course, all good things come to an end, and Liese's normal little world came crashing down mere months after finishing school. The recent graduate was still living at home, staying around to assist a friend to finish the last few weeks of an experiment when disaster struck at Cykes. The appearance of the rift beasts slaughtered thousands and destroyed hundreds of buildings. The entire family took to arms to defend home and country, but was forced to beat a swift retreat after her mother received a mortal wound combatting the monsters. By some ironic miracle, their humble abode was left untouched amidst a swath of destruction laid upon by the city's besiegers.

Unfortunately, such insidious luck turned against them in the aftermath of the calamity as a literal witch-hunt ensued within the city. Innocent people were accused of being witches, and in the rage of the hunt, many innocents were convicted and imprisoned. Soon enough, it was the Lanoue family's turn to come under scrutiny; their home was nearly the only structure intact for a good radius around it, and to a mob mentality, that was overtly suspicious. Liese had thought it would quickly blow over --they were respected and had the ear of several deans –and indeed it did, with a surviving member of the Sidosa board vouching for their innocence. Nonetheless, her parents felt it was time to reveal a long guarded secret, and at one somber night a few days after the attack, at the deathbed of her mother, she was told a damning truth.

One night many years ago in a foreign land, a young witch was romanced by a dashing army captain and fled with him to Dansila. She had cast aside her old identity and consummated a forbidden marriage. That young witch was her mother, who sacrificed her life for a country that would never accept her.

Liese was a witch.

Her mother passed away that night. The night after, Liese left Dansila, not out of spite or agony, but to find herself.

And so she travelled north, into Talz Utera, where the witches took her in with open arms.

---

Skills:

Drawing. She is good enough to reproduce a map or sketch a face.
Academia. Liese finished her education with honors.
Cooking. People won't flee at her culinarian endeavors.
Swordplay. She can lay down a good ass whooping.

Magics:

Liese has the unusual experience of Dansilan academia and an education endemic to that of the witches of Talz Utera. As thus, she has knowledge of a broad range of practices across the two disciplines. Although she is skilled in fields such as aspects of the elements, healing, and cursemaking, she specializes in enchantments, runes, and sometimes the more abstract.

Some notable favorites include:

Manipulation of Arms. Unlike a certain other individual who likes to spam conjured weapons, Liese likes to manipulate existing weapons with a sort of field enchantment. Weapons and objects she places under her purview can be controlled like a puppet or even made to be autonomous at her command.

Construction. Somewhat different from the more transient conjuration of objects, construction gathers matter from around the caster to create a tangible, persistent object. The more complex the object, the longer it takes to create the object. For a sense of scale, a piece of pencil graphite would take ten seconds. A crude sword, perhaps a minute. The costs for these methods are incredibly high, taking directly from life-force, so Liese uses it for only very small things and very rarely anything more.

Chasm. This is more of an area-of-effect kind of deal. An example of one of Liese's runes, she can remotely etch a large circle on seemingly stable ground and upon completion, implodes the ground in a large radius around it. It takes time to complete, but the effects are devastating and can create a large open maw in the ground.

Vanishing Point. Another spell of runic nature. It is a small rune that requires direct contact with its subject, but also requires input of a significant expenditure of mana. When enough mana is focused into the circle, the circle literally falls in on itself, pulling in whatever is in its event horizon with a gravimetric pull. The gravity exponentially increases after time and towards the center of the circle, to the point where steel can be crushed into a speck of dust. Things durable enough can avoid this fate, however. The circle can then explode should it successfully complete and the mass is great enough.

Equipment:

A talentium sword-cane, gifted to her by her father to beat things with.
A soft leather journal, to write and sketch in.
A satchel, to hold things in.

"It's just good practice."

Name:

Lyra Bay Mauritania

Nation of Birth:

Illiserev

Height:

5' 7"

Race:

Human(?)

Personality:

The word that best describes Lyra is eccentric. She maintains a cool, aloof demeanor, but is not a person to refrain from getting down and dirty. Inquisitive, studious, and overly logical, Lyra is the type of person that you might find nose deep in a book in the deepest of Dansila's libraries. Indeed, if shown any non-fiction title, she has probably already read it and memorized its contents. In fact, her memory is nearly impeccable to point that she can repeat facts and immediately cite their sources down to the page of a book. This was often produced much to the irritation and ire of others, but she gradually has come to realize that she should tone things down.

With her great intelligence and memory comes a great ego, and she makes no effort to hide such fact. Lyra walks a fine line between pride and arrogance, but somehow manages to err on the side of char more than annoy. This pride is also a factor in why she remains human. With her marriage to a vampire, she could achieve immortality at any time, but desires to find her own way before settling on the aid of another.

Despite all of her intelligence, she is actually quite incompetent socially, and often makes little more than a fleeting effort to rectify her shortcomings. For all of her textbook experience, almost none of it translates to real-world experience. This often lends her a disadvantage in political or business situations, where she may not understand lingo or jokes and can sometimes bring conversations to a dead, awkward halt.

Lyra has an obsession for knowledge and research. She fears the day she dies like any other normal human would, but for a completely different set of reasons. She believes that she could accomplish and learn so much more were she not human with a short lifespan of a mere hundred years. Her thirst for knowledge, and perhaps power is insatiable. As such, she holds great respect towards the inhabitants of Talze Utera, namely to the witches and the pure blooded vampires that inhabit it. She formally kept such thoughts to herself, but after the peace and recognition of Talze Utera as a sovereign state, Lyra has been more vocal in her thoughts and opinions to the point that she openly sympathizes and works with its inhabitants.

Biography:

Lyra was born to the Mauretania family, an influential noble house in the kingdom of Illiserev. The Mauretania family was well known for its massive overseas and domestic trading operations. The Mauritania company was a massive organization that imported thousands of gross tons of product each week. Within the family, Lyra was regarded as a black sheep for most of her life. While any other noble family would leap at the opportunity to have such an intelligent and capable daughter, the Mauritania family was nearly indifferent to her skills. They only cared if their sons and daughters were good businesspeople or politicians, and Lyra seldom showed any interest in supporting family business.

Despite their disdain, her family was not so narrow sighted to spite her own indifference towards the family operations. While she was cast aside and out of relevance in the noble world, they saw her potential and allowed her to indulge in her addiction for knowledge. They still saw her education as a form of investment, and paid for her books and schooling in Dansila, where she graduated early from one of the great schools at the top of her class.

In Dansila, Lyra's penchant for magic grew even stronger. The scholarly nature of Dansila and their schools were a boon to the young mage, and as she learned more and more about magic and the arts, the more inquisitive she became about utilizing different ways to use magic. After graduating from Dansila, she returned not to the capital of Illiserev, where her family maintained the headquarters of their company, but to a small coastal city on the Illiserev named Wayford.

It was in Wayford that the young mage was set on perhaps the most fateful voyage of her life. Chad Howard, a childhood friend and a merchant captain under the employ of her family, had recently returned from a voyage up the coast of Illiserev and was bound for the archipelagos of Illiserev. By chance, Lyra had received a letter from a noble on the archipelagos concerning magical artifacts of unusual nature, and the Mauritania girl found herself on the merchantman's vessel bound for the islands.

The voyage was an unusual one, with the discovery of a stowaway, and the subsequent interception of the vessel by a certain vampire by the name of Rilolia, in search of said stowaway and another certain individual… By the name of Vance. Lyra was persuaded to aid the vampire's cause in the pursuit of her own interests, taking them to the archipelagos and then to the mountains of Astopol by airship in their search for the imprisoned God Slayer.

It was on the mountain of Hanzen that Chad lead a party against Astopolian knights to rescue a man that he had never met, and fell, betrayed at the insane hands of the stowaway that had joined their party.
It was Lyra that rallied the remnants of their group and succeeded in aiding Rilolia in freeing Vance. But in her naïve attempts to aid a Talze Uteran, she had started the very machinations for all-out war between Talze Utera and the three nations.

Defeated and disillusioned, the mage returned to Wayford, where she shut herself in her house, second guessing her decisions as war raged on. The facts seemed clear: Chad was killed, war was started, and Vance, the man she had helped free, was destroying everything that stood in his way. Perhaps, she reasoned, she shouldn't have meddled with the affairs of Talze Utera.

But as suddenly as it had started, the war stopped at the death of Vance, and peace talks began with the aid of Rilolia. With the result of the peace talks having recognized Talze Utera as a nation and the political situation perhaps better than it ever was, Lyra began to believe that her actions were for the better, after all. The mage saw a field of opportunities open in Talze Utera. Using her experience and relation to Rilolia as leverage within her family, Lyra rose to relevance within her family as an advocate for business and education opportunities within Talze Utera. With the help of the young scholar, the Mauritania family expanded their operations into Talze Utera, opening a branch of their company in the recently founded Dedegear, with Lyra as the regional officer of the new station.

Not long after, the Mauritania family sought and secured a strategic marriage for Lyra with a noble vampire house.

She didn't object.

Her actions had produced more than she could ever have hoped for.

---

Skills:

Memory. Lyra has a photographic memory. She remembers almost everything she sees.
Academia. Get on her level. She'd kill for knowledge.
Business. Her whole family is experienced in whooping peasants' asses the matters of money, and Lyra is no exception.
Tactics. One of her closest acquaintances was the late Chad, a military officer and merchantman, and he imparted a good deal of practical and booksmart education.

Sword Skills/Arts/Magics/Other:

Lyra is more of a utilitarian magic user, and often uses magic for the mundane in addition to the usual matters. She aims to be as efficient as possible when executing spells, using the least amount of mana when possible and aiming for more practical spells. She has had a penchant for stringing together spells on the fly to create single large ones, preferring those to smaller spells in combat. This can occasionally lead to cumbersomely long spell sequences that can leave her defenseless. Almost always, however, she is still protected. Lyra specializes in defensive magic, and at the sound of combat, she'll already have some manner of passive defensive ward or spell already in action.

A few examples of her spells include:

Lance Battery. Similar to artillery, this spell takes an extended period of time to set up, but has magnificent range and accuracy of a sniper when fully executed. The only significant siege weapon in her arsenal, it is made up of several smaller spells. She can conjure and fire up to three of this projectiles in this manner, but the spell can be used purely and quickly as a "broadside" of conjured lances without guidance. This fire mode is very mana intensive and is not something that can be spammed for very long.

Aegis. As the name suggests, this is a defensive spell. It is a quick-action spell that materializes a small translucent hexagonal plate of about similar size to a knight's shield and has a mitigating power equal to a little over a knight's shield. It can be cast multiple times to create up to six plates that can be locked together to form a single large shield, and moved around in a radius around the caster. The rigid structure of the shield, however, means that if one shield is broken while in formation, all the others are.

Manaward. This is an area of effect defensive spell. It creates a full invisible dome around a large area around the caster, in which incoming magical effects, hostile or otherwise, are significantly reduced or even mitigated completely. Unlike Aegis, the dome will form patches and holes if hit in the same spot repeatedly, and does not catastrophically collapse.

Areaward. This is also an area of effect spell. This spell must be created within a defined area, such as a house or room. It allows the caster to keep track of all individuals within the area of effect. It also alerts the caster and all individuals inside it if it is approached or significant mana expenditure has been detected.

Equipment:

A tome bound with talentium. It is thick and leatherbound, and full of useful verses, incantations, and notes. The spine is bound with talentium, and excellent for its amplification effects and use as a makeshift bludgeoning weapon.

@ERode I need a break from staring at it blankly and having nothing to write so I will come back to it tomorrow, take what you have said into consideration and let you know when I have edited it.

Where are all the characters yo?
Well I had my sheet nearly done but then Rodey decided to use waifu punch on it and the way he told me it could work didn't go with what I wanted. So I scrapped it and got something new (done in my head except a Picture and a Theme) by now which I don't know if I can get up early enough because starting from tomorrow after I came from work I am pretty much busy with german world-championship(is that even called world then?) of a tabletop game over the weekend and a friend visiting me/attending it too, he is staying overnights at my place. So yeah if I don't get it done today... :/

>There is only one male PC so far.
Eyyyyyy, at least my character won't be alone when I get it up later at home.

Verek was almost the luckiest dude in RP history with all these hot babes around XD

Too bad half of them are Talz Uteran.

Hmm, say @ERode, in the rp, has the demons been around before the demon child Musphelheim was born?

It's not the demon child Musphelheim, but the demon child OF Musphelheim, which is essentially 'hell'.

In the past (think a thousand years ago), demons derped around and caused natural disasters every time they farted. Currently, they're god-knows-where, and the demon child of Musphelheim is the only proof that they actually exist (or still exist).

Succubi, Incubi, or basically any sort of thing that one would normally associate 'demons' with are spirits summoned by witches, who take on such forms.

And with all these females going about, I guess I can just go and make them have their periods on the same day while a super-dramatic, important fight occurs.

But in terms of actually living in the physical world without witches in countries say like Talze or Dansila, would there be any or that? Basically, the baseline question I'm asking is outside of the Demons that are summoned by witches from the alternate realm, are there any demons that are physically living in the current rp world.

A few more questions to ask.
1. Dragons. Are they able to morph into a human like shape or they are stuck as the huge winged reptile that we now know them as?
2. So anything that would normally come out of hell (in any iteration) would be classified as a demon? i.e (Incubus, Succubus, Ghost, Oni, Cerberus, etc)
3. Is it possible to place a curse on someone that last beyond the caster's death?

Sorry if I'm asking alot of questions. I just need to have more things clarified.

No, there's no demons that have a physical form and walk the earth. The Demon Child of Musphelheim is the sole exception to this, which is why everyone was shitting themselves for a moment.

They're pretty much stuck as huge, winged reptiles unless SOMEONE ELSE casts magic upon them to give them a temporary human form, most likely from a witch in the form of a 'curse'.

Ghosts are just spirits, so that's sorta redundant. Oni are ogres, so they physically exist. Cerberus is the name of a three-headed dog. There are probably three-headed dog monsters on ze surface of the planet.

It isn't possible to place a curse on someone that lasts long after one's death UNLESS said curse is maintained by source of mana that isn't linked to the caster. Such as if the curse is first cast by a witch, and then the witch links the curse to a person other than themselves. Such as, I don't know, an immortal vampire.
