Premise:

Those stories that you watched as you grew up; like Friendship is Magic: My Little Pony, and Naruto, those were fables that were spun upon a wheel of lies. However; they weren't the only tales that were twisted. All stories you have heard have been lost in translation; and molded into false tales to fill the minds of anyone who would listen. But now; those tales are being unrivaled, for the truth is coming to our world.


Once a powerful and chaotic God; Discord ruled over Equestria. His intentions were unknown to all; for his rules were what he wanted, and no one could stop him. That was until Princess Celestia and Princess Luna arrived. Using the Elements of Harmony; the sisters were able to imprison Discord. Peace rained over Equestria for a short 75 years. When the sisters connection to the Elements were broken; Discord managed to break free from the prison and find his way to Princess Celestia, killing her. With her dead, and Discord on the run; Princess Luna recruited a team to use the Elements of Harmony to track the God. Not knowing why; Discord's magic was finally hitting its low point, causing the God to use a last resort tactic. Using the last of his magic; Discord ripped open a passageway to another Realm, fleeing to the human world.

Unknown to him, but the passageway opened up doors to hundreds of other Realms.

This Conflict was only just the beginning.


Rules:

1. Twisted Tales will be a seasonal roleoplay. This means each season will only last two weeks, and contain a arch. After the season ends the roleplay will be closed and a new sign up thread will be made for the next season. I have this system in place allowing for people to create, kill, and move, previous character(s). This also allows for me to move ahead time in large amounts.

2. If you have seen Once Upon a Time; this Roleplay will be similar to that. All stories and TV shows are allowed in this, but any character from it must have a altered past. Basically; you can add or subjects or alter details of a characters history.

3. Season One of Twisted Tales will be taking place in a medium sized town of "veel-los" in the human world. Just a mere 2 weeks after Discords arrival.

4. Whatever character you chooses to play has to be affiliated with one of the three sides; Discords Followers, Moonlight Royal Guard, or natural.

5. Discords Followers are believers of Discord; thinking that as a God, he should rule Equestria. Moonlight Royal Guard are followers of Princess Luna; believing that she is the rightful ruler of Equestria. The neutral affiliated are people who do not side with either of the sides; may it be for personal reasons or anything else.

6. All though I am the GM; I am not going to be the only one world building. I dont mind you creating NPCS(none important ones) to fiddle around with. I also dont mind you making locations(none important ones) to go to. This also includes organizations.

7. Please; if you have a idea for a major plot point, shoot me a message!

8. Characters may have their powers in the human world; but it must be connected to a object that rains from their home Realm.

9. No meta or god modding.

10. Please; if you have a idea for a major plot point, shoot me a message!

11. All characters must be in Veel-los for a reason. May it be what you choose; or due to what affiliation they have.

affiliation: moonlight royal guard

powers & abilities(optional): Swordsmanship, highly durable, able to come as soon as the sun sets and vanish with the first rays of dawn like the morning mist. Expert hand to hand combatant, extraordinary strength, able to sense who secretly desires to be punished for killing someone/ their desire to kill someone, can hide/travel through shadows, can transform his weapon which is made of solidified mist and shadows into another weapon. (I.e. sword, bladed chain, spear, scythe, etc.)

Bio: the apparition of someone's repressed desire to be punished for the crime of murder or their hidden desires to commit murder. A silent judge, jury and executioner that stalked the streets of silent hill and a guardian of ultimate justice that stands watch, waiting with his great knife, a spear or a scythe always close at hand. But is that all the figure known as pyramid head, named by those who unknowingly end up trapped in silent hill, is there for? Who knows what this ever present silent horror is thinking it what it wants? Now that he's among the other defenders, he stays hidden in the shadows. He doesn't like the task he's been shackled with, matter of fact that's why he waits until nightfall to come out and he's always dragging his sword and feet when he goes about his "duties".

Both the movies and from the games silent hill 2 on. Actually, it was more from the wiki page.

This RP is about how the TV shows and things are actually wrong; and that the people who come from them have different stories then we think they have. So you need to alter his story someway or another.

I'm thinking of popping up in the forest once the sun sets. Other than there, pyramid head could remain in his world of fog in silent hill, slaying the souls of the wicked in grim silence and making those fortunate enough not to meet him repent their evil ways.

Added a couple powers before I started working on my intro post.
 
Also thinking of bringing out another character. Maybe John wick.

powers & abilities(optional): combat expert, master marksman, highly skilled knife fighter, infiltration expert, master hitman, and master assassin.

Bio: after finishing his business with Viggo and getting a new dog, John came out of retirement. A master assassin and hitman, John is driven and was hired for a job. A job that was being offered by two opposing factions. The job was to stop the faction his two clients were fighting, which just so happened to be each other. Good thing his two clients didn't show up at the same time. Now he's stuck in the middle of a power struggle that will decide the fate of the multiverse.

Abilities: State of the art cloaking technology allows Vector to turn near invisible, to the point he can evade thermals. But, fast movement causes the battery to drain faster, which causes disruption in the cloak and making it easier to spot him. Exceptional skill in hand to hand combat and stealth, expert marksman, and reconnaissance. Additionally, his suit/gas mask allow him to immune to contagions and airborne pathogens. Even if they're non-lethal.
Bio: Vector's past is partially unknown. All that is known is that he was trained by an agent of Umbrella. Known as HUNK. Otherwise known as "Mr Death." Who later molded Vector into a star pupil, of whom was rumored to one day replace HUNK. Anyways, Vector was placed into Delta team, led by Lupo. Delta team was later sent on a mission to destroy evidence in Raccoon City. And do whatever Command told them to do. But, as they completed their last mission and was about to receive evac. A police officer by the name of Leon S. Kennedy put that on hold. And when they failed to kill him, they were abandoned by Umbrella. And when hope was about to be lost, they found salvation. That being a tunnel system that led out of the city. And to a forest. Soon after that, they all went out to bring down Umbrella by any means....Save for Vector, who merely went into hiding. Knowing full well what'd happen to someone if they went after Umbrella. Months later, he was contacted by a blue princess horse with wings and a horn for a job....

Abilities: Military training and extensive exercise allows Jacket to bash in people's skulls with his bare hands. And handling firearms with ease. He also wields a 'sense' that allows him to sense where people are. Even if there is a wall between him and whoever is unlucky enough to be on his kill list.
Bio: Jacket was your typical war vet who was kicked out of action by a injury that left him in a coma. And after learning he was no longer fit for redeployment. He resigned to just being a courier. One that had the misfortune to be witness to a mob execution of a family man who just wanted to do some good. Thankfully, Jacket managed to get away from the mob, but it only delayed the inevitable. His loved ones were attacked and killed. This action caused Jacket to snap. And after donning a rooster mask and his letterman jacket. He went on a rampage through Miami. Killing anyone who was in the Mob or had relations with the mob. Soon invading a skyscraper and blowing it to smithereens. As he was falling to his death. He was brought to a castle, seemingly out of a fairy tale. It was there, he was offered a chance to be not only survive, but to perhaps be sent back in time to prevent the death of his loved ones. He doubts that will ever happen. At the same time, he kinda likes being a psychopath.....Who wears animal masks...And uses a tape recorder to speak...


Venom Snake/Punished Snake. [Don't read the bio if you haven't played MGS V, but intend to. But if you care less about the game and such. Read on.]

Affiliation: Neutral {Currently being talked to, in order to convince him to join.}
Abilities: Exceptional skill in the fighting style known as "CQC", as well as being a expert marksman, natural leader, also being skilled in stealth. He also has a small army at his disposal.
Bio: Venom Snake was the medic under the command of Big Boss, infact he was an amazing medic who later saved Big Boss during the XOF attack on Mother Base in 1972. At the cost of losing his arm, and his right eye as a piece of shrapnel implanted itself in his head. Venom later on underwent plastic surgery and hypnotherapy to transform himself into Big Boss. To the point, he actually thought he was Big Boss. After killing Skull Face, and taking revenge. He learned that the real Big Boss was hidden somewhere. Building Outer Heaven. In order to battle Cipher, aka. The Patriots. It was this that left Venom confused. Afterall, his former leader had lied to him, and molded him into his image. Then ran off while Venom was rebuilding Big Boss' legend. Though, he couldn't hate him. He was Big Boss....They were Big Boss, not to mention, the real Big Boss needed him to free himself, his cloned sons from The Patriots. Anyways, a few months later, he learned that Big Boss succeeded. Somehow, he managed to undo Zero's plans and dreams. But at the cost of his own life. So, now Venom is the only Big Boss.....Soon after holding a funeral for him, Venom went on. Making sure that the legend of Big Boss continued. That is until he was contacted by a blue horse princess with wings and a horn. She offered him a job to be apart of the Moonlight Royal Guard, perhaps even train the ones who didn't boast inhuman strength or abilities. And even some of the regular guards. So, with a small escort of Diamond Dog Soldiers, Venom went to talk with this princess to negotiate...

powers & abilities(optional): Sword skills, intelligent and the ability to shapeshift into a dog

Bio: Everything you know about Scooby Doo is wrong. Scooby Doo is not simply a dog that can talk, but a human shapeshifter and one of the two siblings of Shaggy Rodgers ( The other being Beth) and one of the many shapeshifters born into the family. ( All dogs on the show are actually shapeshifters unbeknownest to the viewers) . Most of the mysteries they solved were real, but happened out of order. The reason he has been in dog form most of the time is that they have been on the run from the governemnt who want to know why he could shapesift.
