Alien Race: Nezumi
250px-Ysoki_envoy_scoundrel.jpg
The Nezumi are based heavily on Starfinder's Ysoki.

They are small humanoid rats who stand at most about 4 feet tall. They walk upright, have fur, long incisors, and partially prehensile tails that make them pretty good in zero gravity. Their hands are small, with long fingers good for dexterous work, and their noses are pretty sharp. They reach adulthood at about 10 years old.

They originate from a planet about half the size of Earth, with most of the planet's surface being arid deserts or more rocky mountains, called Akiton. The planet use to be a major mining planet, but the resources have pretty much run dry.

That doesn't seem to keep their culture from being chaotic at best, and the Nezumi have done a pretty good job of spreading themselves within other cultures, with Nezumi picking up roles and societal niches other races view as unpleasant.

(Will make this look nicer and expand upon things further in the future, just wanted to get the bare-bones up)

Located near the front of the ship while on the upper deck to allow access to view the exterior of the ship as well as getting a large view of the space outside, the S.S Destiny has a large lounge area for the crew to come and relax as well as chat with one another between missions or during FTL travel. Within the lounge there are plenty of tables, couches and tables for those who wish to bring food or to take advantage of the coffee, tea or other drinks and snacks that are available in the lounge. Aside from such there are also some table games as well as holographic chess that some wish to play along with some alien board games that were an addition out of recommendation from others.

Nearby the lounge is the ship's cafeteria where a large sum of the crew members tend to go have their meals while some others take their meals to their living quarters or to their desk to eat while they work. Here there are multiple different selections of foods that can be chosen from, varying from both alien foods to simple human foods as well. In the back of the cafeteria is the kitchen where the chefs prepare the food and place them onto the nearby heated counter to keep the food fresh and heated as though it were just cooked even if it might sit there for a few hours.

Connected near the research/science lab of the ship by the center of the ship is the medical bay otherwise known as the infirmary. Aside from the members of the science division also coming in here to check on patients, there are plenty of doctors and nurses that come in and out to check on patients for serious or even minor injuries as well as any illnesses that might need to be treated. The medical bay is stocked with a large number of different medications that are capable of treating nearly anything from small cuts, the common cold to unknown illnesses as well as for surgery. The medical bay also consists of separate rooms for emergency situations that require the patient to be in a separate room than other patients as well as cyro-stasis pods for those who might need to be frozen while new medication or medication needs to be prepared or for any other reasons.

The research/science lab that is connected right by the medical bay contains highly important specimens ranging from planets and animals on Earth to different sorts of plants and animals from both inhabited as well as habited alien planets from all over. The lab's purpose serves as one of the most important roles on the S.S Destiny since the scientists on the ship must also figure out what types of plants are harmful to the ecosystem of planet Earth as well as how it would affect other animals that are both normal to humans as well as other aliens. Attempting to figure out the middle ground of what could be too dangerous and what was tolerable while at the same time seeing if some plants could be harvested to make new types of medicine possibly.

Located by the front of the ship by the bridge is the briefing room. From here, normally the Captain calls for either the entire crew or for those who they wish to call out for the mission. Within the briefing room there are multiple seats each one having a small data pad on the left arm of the seat extended outwards for the view of the person sitting there so that they can take a full glimpse of everything on the large screen in front of the room. From the data pad, any crew member can add in their own thoughts by using their fingers to point out anything they find of interest and make edits for their own thoughts. Also located within the briefing room, there is a button on the board that allows for whoever stands in the briefing room to speak through it and broadcast their voice throughout the entire ship through an intercom system.

At the very higher deck of the ship at the head of the ship is the bridge. From here, members of the crew such as the navigator, pilot, captain, co-captain, Ship A.I as well as any other members of the crew that wish to join gather here to take a full glimpse of where the ship will travel to. From the bridge, it is also where all the ship's weaponry systems can be fired from along with it's shields and other important systems of the ship can be maintained.

Close towards the center of the ship on the upper decks are the living quarters for all the crew members. Each living quarter is exactly the same size and mostly designed the same way with a couch, a table with two chairs, a view outside of the ship, the mattress and bathroom and as well as a counter with a small miniature kitchen for those who do not have time to head down to the cafeteria to get their food or prefer to reheat something they had not finished. Although the rooms are mainly designed the same way, anything such as the chairs and table can be moved around the room as well as many crew members tend to add decorations into their rooms to change the look and make their own living quarters have a slight touch of just who they are.

Located at the rear of the ship is the engineering room for those who wish to invent and test out new inventions or repair any kind of old technology. Quite obvious, engineers tend to spend lots of their time here though also mechanics are also known to be here to help out as well. From here many of the alien tech is usually placed here to see if any of it could ever be compatible with any human tech or even other alien tech as well. It is also located near the rear due to the fact that if anything were to happen to any of the ships coming back into the S.S Destiny or if the Engine Core would happen to act strangely, the engineering team as well as mechanics are there to be able to see to it immediately.

Although S.S Destiny is known to be a large ship that is meant to go colonize and find new planets, the ship was designed to be large enough to carry smaller ships within it such as personal ships from any other crew members that might have any. Due to it's size, the S.S Destiny can carry up to six other smaller personal ships within it's hanger in the lower deck. From here, small ships are able to be repaired by mechanics and engineers if need be as well as refueling if there is enough fuel within the ship's storage to give to the other ships.

At the very rear of the ship is the main engine core of the entire S.S Destiny. Aside from the use of Dark Matter that allows for hyperspace jumps as well as FTL travel while remaining undetected under any enemy sensors, the core also consists of alien tech that has multiple other elements that aliens have apparently found the ability to be compatible with Dark Matter without causing a meltdown.
