Basic Plot: Two years after their grand marriage, King Kaelen murdered his wife, Queen Melanie of Cella, and overthrew the parliament to become an evil dictator. Upset with his radical changes and harsh law enforcement, the younger heirs to the neighboring kingdoms got together to try and stop him. They discovered a magical crystal that sent them back in time, giving them one chance to reverse Kaelen and Melanie's marriage. The princesses and princes must do everything they can to change the Cella's dark future by changing the past.

King Kaelen was the prince of a neighboring kingdom. He came to the Kingdom of Cella to meet with the Princess Melanie in prospect of marriage.

He spent two weeks in Cella and the princess fell in love with him.

Plans for their marriage were arranged. The entire kingdom rejoiced.

Cella was in political turmoil with its neighboring allies at the time, but the marriage put down their arms to celebrate a new union.

Within another two weeks, they were married.

It was a quick procession, but everyone assumed they were happily in love.
They were. At least, princess Melanie was. Three days after their
wedding, the Queen's body was found in the royal chambers, death
by suffocation. The entire society was thrown into chaos. Even neighboring
kingdoms were confused by the blasphemy.

She was a kind, noble Queen, one that worked for peace and stability even when she was a princess;
loved by all, and as such, her funeral was nearly as grand as her marriage.

When the King was revealed to the be the murderer, Cella was thrown into further instability. He began a new dictatorship,
free of the parliament and free of alliances, killing nobles and citizens alike, creating an era of bloodshed and fear.




It was months after Queen Melanie's funeral that the neighboring kingdom's heirs, threatened exile by King Kaelen's new
plans to cut down on any kind of betrayal, escaped and met together by her grave.

Vowed that they, together would overthrow this evil ruler
, but by what means?

As if to answer their pleas, they discovered a crystal necklace laying upon the dust on her gravestone, glowing red.

Sent back in time, only days before Prince Kaelen's arrival, the heirs must now find a way to change the past to alter their dark future.

The majority of this roleplay will take place in the past;
occasionally, there might be a skip to the present/future & then a return to the past, depending on the story-line.

The characters will start out already acquainted with one another.

Once you post your character sheets, please take a moment to see whose best friend, whose rival, whose brotherly figure, or whose confidante you would like to be.

In this way, we will start without introductions.

the playing field is varied, but the major characters will be Prince/King Kaelen, Princess Melanie (in the past, only), and the heirs to the neighboring kingdoms.


  • [*=left]Prince/King Kaelen is a villainous character. You may change his name if you wish and give him background for his motivations towards dominating the world. Some say he may have been possessed by an evil spirit, some say he willing sold himself to darkness. It's up to you (: His magic is up to you as well, though I would suggest human manipulation and mind control techniques.


    [*=left]Princess Melanie. You may also change her name if you wish. She can only be played in the past, without any knowledge of her future, unless told to her by the time warriors. Her decision to marry Prince Kaelen must be changed in order for her to live, but she simply cannot change her heart unless a greater catastrophe puts her attention elsewhere. (i.e: she will not fall for anyone else, because the fate lines have decided that she will love Kaelen, whether he accepts that love or not. Once the time warriors realize this, they must choose to postpone the wedding, cancel the wedding to kill Kaelen himself. By all means, he.must.not.become.king.)


    [*=left]Heirs of the Neighboring Kingdoms. customization is totally up to you, can be of any age, any kingdom. while time travelling, you will have magical abilities.

Question: I'm assuming all people are human. And im confused as to what the Princesses and Princes sort of relationship thay have with King Kaelen Kingdom? Are they his vassals? His allies? Yup, the assumption of all people being human is correct.

I'll set it up this way, then, to clear things up: Let's say King Kaelen ruthlessly brings the other kingdoms, who were once allies, into his control. And I'll add this to the top posts so that everyone can benefit from the explanation. He wants to exile the heirs because while their kingdoms are under his power, there is a possibility that the young princes/princesses can change that fact.

Hmmm..
Well, to be an assassin, you could be one of two things;

1- a heir to a kingdom of assassins, who has been trained as one.
2- & this I just realized might actually be pretty cool, an assassin working for King Kaelen.
We could assume that Kaelen, when he first came to woo Melanie, brought an entourage with
him, which included undercover assassins who meant to kill anyone who got in way of his plans?

Kingdom Description: the kingdom is known for there agriculture. With few rumors of the uncivilized traits of the men and woman, happy go lucky adventurers and idealists and romantics. estria has long summers usually fair weatherd though, when taking a walk you see many rolling hills, the land is large but the people are few, usually fund in small clusters of towns scattered here and there. this kingdom is really nothing special.

Personality Traits: Bold, Daring, Curious, Adventurous, Playful, Creative, Laid back, a romantic, idealistic, dreamer,
General Past: Being from Estria where everyone has fun and a general laid back feeling among the people and even the court creates children with similar traits. Angie and her maids children would always go play in the wildflowers bare foot. She never thought of herself as a princess and her friends thought of her like everyone else. Though she could not exscape her duties, It was when she was 13 that her father began pushing for her education, and for her to learn some sort of eliquance since soon she would be going off to Cella and other neighboring kingdoms for balls and possibly a husband for her to rule with. A surprising request from her parents who were lovers and married because she got pregnant with Angel and they married half for love and half for honnor to be kept and this to be a secret. When she had just turned five her mother had a son he is now 13 and the complete opposite of Angeline.
Connection to Kingdom of Cella: Angeline went to many balls in Cella, she met Melanie and they became aquantances. Angie wants to save Cella because of the fondness she felt for Melanie.

Magic: mental - illusions - can create small images to apear in another persons mind

Kingdom: Liberta
Kingdom Description: Liberta (taken from the name Liberty) is an island kingdom that requires about half a day of traveling by boat to get to. It is located in the center of a very large lake. It is known for its free willed people, fishing market, and Navy.
Personality Traits: As Eean, he is a formal and educated man. Many times he looks for facts in situations and mostly points them out to others. He rarely smiles but is never rude or mean to any unless that person is his enemy. He is very loyal to those that are his allies. As Distance, he is always cold and quiet. He might seem a bit rough to some people due to his nature. Some see him as brooding and mysterious. While fighting, he can be ruthless.
General Past: Eean was the second born son to King and Queen Resedure, but the first born child was a still-born. He was quickly raised to be an educated man so he could rule his kingdom with wisdom. His second middle name, Ophila, comes from the name of a maiden who the King had a quick affair with before she ran off. Only the King, Eean, and a few very close and trusted personal bodyguards know his second middle name. After the murder of the Queen of Cella, he quickly formed a plan to escape and avoid King Kaelen's wrath. First, he staged a suicide to make it seem as if he died and secretly paid for a grave for him to make the illusion that he died. Then he sailed away from his kingdom and donned a new persona: Distance, the Wandering Soul. He quickly spread stories and myths of a strange man who is forever forced to wander the lands in grief after giving up the woman he loved. Distance occasionally appeared on rooftops and in dark alleyways, exploding the popularity of the stories. Nobody but himself know that Distance and Eean are the same person.
Connection to Kingdom of Cella: His parents and him were good friends of the Queen, but always had an uneasy relationship with the King. He also wishes to save the kingdoms and avenge the Queen.
Magic: To help keep himself no more than a popular legend, he has the power to slightly warp the reality of a person. It is not much; it can only make it so when they catch a glimpse of Distance, it was like their imagination made up the image. It only works on a single person and it very weak at the moment due to his training never being finished.

Kingdom Description: It's a country with four distinct seasons but with mild winters, known for both agriculture and trading but also by internal conflicts, several times their kingdom has been threatened with civil war and by that hunger and bad economy. But as their bond with Cella had always been strong, both financially and socially, Shiante eventually grew peaceful and their internal conflicts settled. Shiante's royalty sees the Kingdom of Cella as a large reason why their own country settled down and as King Kaelen tries to take over the royal family will do what they can to help Cella, and the rest of the world. They are not as rich as other kingdoms and their royals wear less jewellery and decor, but has fine silk and cotton from their own fields.

Personality Traits: Kind, open, loyal, well behaved, gets cold when angry, has a tendancy to switch easily between serious and happy, she's quite deep with many layers that she doesn't show others.

General Past: Shuna is the firstborn child to Rendin and Antikka and though she has a younger brother but seeing as Shiante has no law against female heirs and so Shuna has since birth been trained as a princess of course but she has also been trained in self defence in case their kingdom will ever fall into war again. She's skilled at archery and her own bow is a gift from her younger brother and is her greatest treasure, Shuna has a basic skill with a knife as a last resort to save her. Shuna is used to be dressed as a princess but also as a normal citizen as a precaution if she needs to hide or escape.

Connection to Kingdom of Cella: As their kingdoms have been strongly connected for decades Shuna has visited Cella a few times and she knows both Kaelen and Melanie though not very well, she knows Princess Melanie better though and want to save her from her death.

Magic: Elemental Control - Air: She can move and shape air to use as a weapon or in a defense.

Kingdom: Lilia
Kingdom Description: Lilia is Known for it's "eternal winter". It snows almost all year and is quite cold. Lilia has a long, bloody history, and is famous for training brutal soldiers. Now days things have calmed down and Lila often tries to stay out of conflicts if at all possible. Its cold, harsh climate is very poor for growing things so Lilia depends on other kingdoms for trade.

Personality Traits: Dren is somewhat quiet and keeps to himself. He seems almost emotionless in appearance, which others often mistake as a cold or arrogant personality (though it's the exact opposite). Dren is quite good when it comes to magic and fighting, though he's rather inept and awkward when it comes to everyday things (and occasionally, common sense). He has a fiercely protective streak due to growing up with three younger siblings.
General Past: Dren's mother died giving birth to her youngest child, leaving Dren with the responsibility to help take care of his younger siblings. As customary for noble boys in Lilia, Dren was trained from a young age how to fight and use magic. He had little training in the way of social skills, however, leading to him being more comfortable on the battle field then a social gathering. This is also a contributing factor to why he keeps to himself and doesn't have many friends. Most of his time as a child (and even now) that wasn't already devoted to any kind of training or his family was spent riding horses or reading books.
Connection to Kingdom of Cella: Due to Lilia's cold climate, it is nearly imposible to grow crops, therefore Lilia often trades with many kingdoms, one of their major allies and trading partners being Cella. Due to this, Dren has met with Melanie many times. His major goal is to protect his siblings and the people of Lilia.

Magic: Dren uses ice magic. Due to where he lives, its most convenient. His small stature leads to him not being very strong physically, so he depends on magic and speed during battle. He's also surprisingly brutal and violent when fighting.

Cerus stands fully grown at 6'4 and weighs in around 145 lb, he has an athletic, heavily toned, and muscular body. He has a tan skin tone, and has quite a few scars covering his body from battles, but nothing to profound. His face he considers quite handsome, and it has a wolfish way about it, usually with a tilted smile. He has piercing topaz gold eyes, and black hair that his cut short on his head. He has a piercing in each ear, usually with small metal hoops in them.He has very pounced canines, a result from his wolf magic. He has tribal like tattoos covering his right shoulder, upper arm, shoulder blade, a picture of a leaping snarling wolf has been stylized into the tattoo on his right peck. Cerus has a light musk that travels with him everywhere, it smells slightly animalistic.

Kingdom: Faedon

Kingdom Description: Faedon is a country run by its nobles, but there are certain ancient laws that makes sure the nobles treat the commoners well. In northern Faedon resided mountains and in the south is forested with farmland, Faedon has a pretty even amount of natural resources, only needing to trade for some of the more exotic or rarer items. The life of a Faedon noble is filled with politics and intrigue, the Dagriel's have held the throne for some time and have done so through amazing political maneuvering, but the simple fact is that every few generations a new house will claim a throne for a time until the next one takes its place, most of the houses do not change the way Faedon's ruled or the laws and such so mainly who is on the throne means nothing to the commoners. Any civil wars are fought in open ground near no settlements, so as to not affect the commoners. Faedons military is large and rarely ever gets into disputes for the throne, there only loyalty is to the king and queen, once they have been crowned. The battles for the throne are only made using houses personal armies small grounds of men at arms.

Personality Traits: Cerus hates people that are arrogant, and those who wield any kind of power wrongly. Cerus is witty and loves to make sarcastic, or funny comments all the time, most of the time he is very light hearted, but when it is time to be serious Cerus is actually quite deep, profound, cunning, shrewd, suspicious, humble, religious, determined, and to those who show him they are deserving of it he is quite honest, honourable, and loyal. Cerus hardly ever shows his serious side. Cerus is a master swordsman, competent in unarmed combat, and a young genius in tactics and strategy, he is also very good at politics maneuvering, and knows much about etiquette and such, but having spent much time in the military he has become rusty.

General Past: Cerus was born to the King Cerion and Queen Dira, the first son and heir to the throne. He has two other brothers and three sisters, he was raised and loved by his parents, given the best tutors and he showed aptitude in many areas. He grew up fast taking on greater and grander duties for his father, finally on his sixteenth birthday he enlisted for the military in 3 short years he had risen to the rank of commander commanded his own small personalized army. When Kaelen came to take the throne of Faedon Cerus fought with many others, but having taken control of some other countries (even with good strategy and luck) it was impossible, so Kaelen captured the realm of Faedon, he took the royal couple and slaughtered them in front of all the nobles of the kingdom; including Cerus, who was a prisoner of war. He watched as his sisters where raped and butchered, and his younger brothers where tortured and killed, he was next, but before Kaelen could do so The Wolf Pack, the 3rd​ company who was extremely loyal to their Commander rescued him, sacrificing many lives to rescue him. They now make their way to meet the other heirs of neighboring kingdoms, while Cerus is still haunted, by what he saw, a burning desire for revenge is seen in his eyes.

Connection to Kingdom of Cella: Cerus only met Melaine on a few rare occasions and never actually got to know her. Cerus has been to Cella on one occasion and another, but did not know the queen very well or for that matter the country. Cerus wishes to kill Kaelen, but not quickly; he wants to cause much pain to him before he dies.

Magic: Morphing: Wolf: Able to turn into a wolf at the moment, though he is able to contact wolves using telepathy, he has yet to learn how to do only partial transformations.

For this reason, S P E R O is somewhat of an experiment in progress ,D I want to see how this set-up will work.
