Jay took his sword back and promptly responded, "Nope. When I mean classic sword I mean just a plain sword. No dust. No nothing. Yeah a bit strange for these times but I like. Its simple and I like it."

He sat back down and leaned back.

"Now Oshea Creed, that's how you say it?, since we are showing off weapons, why don't you show me yours."

"Ah, this." She began, choosing to disregard the comment of allowing Oshea to flirt with her if she was as good as Violet thought.

Bora unclipped her weapon from her belt and pushed a button for the blade to unsheath itself. Violet would be able to feel a sense of coolness to it due to the mist radiating from the blade itself. But, unlike Violet, Bora preferred to any additions to her weapon a surprise until the time of combat. She'd rather remain a surprise to a potential opponent rather than give away all of her combat techniques. "Do not touch the weapon, but you could say your prediction is on the right track. Your weapon is far larger than what it looked to be at first glance.. You didn't seem the type to carry such a thing."

At first August was amazed, that was pretty impressive, he snapped again, it was back. But how? he burrowed his brow & stared at the deck.

*Snap* The hell, what is this? How can he do that? The more he focused, the more August became frustrated at the "trick". There must've been something beyond what he was seeing, he's seen magic tricks many times before, even read a few books on them just to make sure he wouldn't be surprised. But he's never seen something like this, it was obvious he wasn't doing it in any way August had read about before, that wasn't it. Was it magnets? Did he magnetize the cards so he could pull them out at will? Yes, his semblance must be polarity.... he puts out a different charge whenever he wants a specific card. Hah! I'm so clever, August thought to himself. Wait, no.....that can't be it Still, maybe something involving his semblence? If it was, then it was a rather subtle semblance. "Hmm..." He snapped once more, bringing the three of hearts back once more. Hell, seriously....

August looked at Chance impressed, taking a step back to allow someone else to have a turn, crossing his arms as he continued to stare at the deck & try to puzzle out what the hell Chance was doing to it. He heard a girl calling out from the back of the group, he turned back but didn't see anyone past the crowd.

@Jessica2477
"Yea most don't think a girl like me would be a sniper but something about taking out an opponent from 100 yards is rewarding" she said disassembling the weapon again....

"Cool mist... Something tells me you're weapon is not exactly like the ones I remember anyway so tell me about you and your sister what reason do you guys have for coming to beacon and how was sanctum?" She asked

@Ramboing
Creed thought for a moment as he was taken back by the fact that Jay didn't even use dust....

He opened up his jacket and removed 2 silver orbs and made them levitate in his hand
"I usually don't show people but you showed yours this is my weapon silver dust magnetized to a special polarity that can merge together" he said as the two orbs merged into a larger orb.

Rose was sitting on the plush seat, near the back of the Airship. She was busy with her own personal business, not noticing anyone else around for those few minutes. She heard that Beacon Academy is a great school... but they wore uniforms, and she hated uniforms. She moved her hair down over her shoulders, playing some little cartoon game or something on her phone. The Faunus was really nervous about going to a school that wasn't Shade Academy, they would probably have different rules and different class styles... which would be sooo FUN to learn. She would miss Vacuo a little, but it was definitely time for a change.

Standing up, with Graceful Fusion, her Glass Sword, strapped over her shoulder, she went over to see what the card guy was up too. She was impressed with his card tricks, she wondered what else he could do with it... she might have to analyze his fighting style soon enough. She wanted to be the next volunteer... seeing how fun it looked, but she would be polite, for a change, and wait until after the other girl had her turn. "I wonder how he does that... soo pretty." Her eyes grew big in excitement and eagerness.

The dude sleeping in fetal position on the plush seat of the Airship, was named Marcellus Ellington, and he had a long day yesterday. His parents wouldn't let him leave without saying goodbye to the entire family... which consisted of maybe 40 people, so he was up all yesterday writing letters and telling everyone he'll miss them. His family can be pretty dramatic, it wasn't like he was leaving Vale... but they didn't care. Marcellus had his arm resting on the window of the ship, his face nearly plastered against that same window. He wound either wake up soon, or would be woken up.

"Ahhh..." Guess waking up was a better option than being woken up. He rubbed his tired eyes, looking around at everyone else. His vision was still a bit blurry, so he didn't really get a good look at everyone around him. He had his legs folded on the couch, now his head was laid back against the window. "Beacon... can't wait..." He yawned one more time, getting up to stretch his tired bones.

"My sister and I come to Beacon just like anyone else. I can't imagine someone would go to a Hunter Academy to become an artist." Bora said, putting her weapon away then reached into her bag to eat some of her snacks. Bora was beginning to feel socially awkward since the start of the conversation but pushed it down. She was trained to answer when spoken to and wasn't good at keeping conversations going. She was raised to be a Huntress, social skills wasn't all that necessary when with a team. All they had to do was tell each other commands and what they were planning...

Sunil was still hopping up and down, waving her hands as much as she could. It got to the point where the younger sister had taken off her shoe and was tossing it up into the air, catching it, then tossing it again to get the performer's attention. If this didn't get attention, she would be ready to scream.

@Jessica2477
"I meant what made you wanna become a hunter but I understand... Well seems like my cousin is ok and I can see the academy in the distance we should arrive shortly ..." She said getting up to go to see the magic show but before she left she turned to Bora with a serious face "Oh if you do happen to get on a team with my cousin don't fall for the act he's ummm wow he's suppressing a lot of pain and anger just letting you know" she says then walking off

Violet wanted to be a hunter like her dad but when her Aunt and Uncle died and Oshea eventually had went to shade and sanctum and when they got news he would go to Beacon they got Violet enrolled to look after him.

"I meant what made you wanna become a hunter..."

Was there really a choice in that matter for her?

If only she could say that this family line of work was not something she could choose against. At least not at this point in her life. She already went through her years of training; giving up this path now would be devastating for herself and her family.

Being the first born in the Winterval family really sucked sometimes...

Bora continued to eat her snacks, keeping what Violet said in mind. That is if she did get paired on a team with Oshea. If not, then at least she could hope for the best for him. As of now, she was kind of lost in her own thoughts. Now eating for the sake of keeping quiet.

Chance scanned the crowd with an inquisitive amber gaze, looking for his next assistants. It was at this time he noticed the shoe bobbing up and down in the air, as if someone was throwing it. The young magician smirked at that. Might as well...

"Okay, can we please have..." he gave his semblance another subtle kick, using the natural pause to tune everything else out for a second without arousing suspicion, "Sunil and Rose? Are you ladies in the audience?"

"My name is Chance. It's certainly lovely to meet you both today~" he introduced himself, shaking both of their hands gently. "Would you like to play a game? Let's see who between you has keener senses..."

He shuffled (or at least appeared to) his deck as he spoke, casually asking them casually, "Have either of you ever been to a casino? I'm assuming not; both of you seem like upstanding individuals. Anyway, there's this game called Two Card Monte that we'll be playing today." Chance searched through the deck and pulled out the four Aces. He showed them to the girls as he continued to explain, "The rules are quite simple: I give each of you two cards, mix 'em up a bit, and then you have to guess which person has which cards. Whoever's more accurate wins. Simple enough right? Let's play~!"

Chance put the Aces back on the deck to free his hands. He grabbed one of each from the volunteers, so that they're open. "Now watch very carefully. Blink and you might miss something." He began to deal out the four cards to the girls so that each had two in their hand. He then began swapping them around between them. "Are you watching?" he asked rhetorically. Every now and then, he would show them an Ace and wink, "In case you blinked~"

After about ten seconds, Chance was satisfied. Each girl had two cards in their hand face down. "Now then! That's enough switching and trickery for now. So, who has what? One at a time please~"

The magician gave them time to answer, then nodded. "Very interesting responses. Are you okay with what you said?" Once they both confirmed their answers, Chance smiled, "Alright, turn your cards over and let's see who wins!"

They were Queens.

@Infin1teZer0

Sunil nearly lost it when the guy called out her name. But then she remembered, 'Oh right! My bag!'

Her bag was the prettier one of the two, and there her name was written on it with some glitter glue and puffy stickers. If anything, it was pretty noticeable, so she decided that that was how the guy knew her name. Either that or someone was talking about her specifically and he overheard.

"Yay!" She squeezed through the crowd quickly while trying to put her shoe back on, her height making it obvious as to why she had to throw said show.

Sunil paid attention to the whole act. She was a woman of speed and her eyes were keen on everything fast. They had to be! Otherwise she would be smacking into everything while she ran! But this guy... Chance was his name. He managed to perform this trick even while Sunil was paying full attention to him. By the end of the trick she was staring at him in awe, incredulousness, and fascination. "Hey! How'd you do that!? And don't give me that "A magician never reveals their secret" malarkey! It couldn't be speed! What was it? Something up the sleeve? Hair? Collar? Pockets? Pants? Rigged deck? Maybe something involving some finger strength? Or your Semblance or something? Maybe some super cool illusioner stuff tied on your wrist? Or some fancy invisible pocket protector we can't see? There's always a way Mr. Chance!"

Rose couldn't believe her eyes... how did he do that. "Ummm... how did you, what did you?" She tried to guess how he did it, but everything came up blank. She turned to Sunil. "Do you know how he did that? That was... amazing!" Rose started to clap, she needed to know his secret. "Okay... I bet it has to do something with you Semblance or something... but what could it be?" She wanted soo badly for him to tell her what it was. "This is crazy... and exciting." She smirked at Chance. "You're sneaky... and someone I need to watch out for." She handed him the cards. Rose had guessed a King and a six of Hearts, so she wasn't really close at all. Rose started to giggle at how loud Sunil got, it was pretty hilarious to witness. "Someone can't appreciate good entertainment I guess."

With a last loving stroke of the oilcloth, Dahlia was finished. She really wanted to give her weapon a few test swings, but the middle of a packed airship wasn't the place. Packing away her axes, she looked out the window.

She could see Beacon! Dahlia was pressed against the window in seconds. The architecture! The space! Ahhhhhhhh! This was happening! In a matter of minutes they'd be landing!

Her gawping done, Dahlia slumped back into her seat, her feet hammering out a drumroll on the airship floor.Looking around, she saw a large crowd had formed around one cluster of seats. It was too tightly packed to see what was going on, so Dahlia cheated a little. Pulling Aura to her feet, she dashed up the side of the wall, hooking her hands into a luggage rack. From her unconventional vantage point, she could see the card tricks as they were performed.

"Well its certainly an interesting buch to say the least." Mardi for his most part had been staying back while the passengers walked about and introduced themselves to one another. He had to admit being around so many people did make him a tad bit nervous to outright interact with anyone in particular so he instead began to busy himself by doing what calmed him the most: Checking his weapons. Stealing away to a more private corner of the ship since most people had taken interest in the little magic show happening, Mardi pulled out his gauntlets that were modded to make them match his flair. "Okay boys lets see if we can figure out more about you." Going off into his own little world he began testing them out, in a safe manner, to see what kind of results they can produce.

@Iroh

"Wow nice. A bit too fancy for my taste."

Turning from Creed, Kay looked put the window the see Beacon in the distance. He turned back to Creed and pointed out the approaching view "Hey look we're almost here. Dang.... Its even cooler in person."

Rias had been sitting in one of the far corners of the airship listening to her music through a set of earbuds. She glanced around at the different people as most of them were watching the magic show that was going on board and there were some that tried to stay by themselves. She took not of the guy across from her as he pulled out his weapons and began practicing. She had to admit he was pretty good and decided to talk to him. With that she paused her music and pulled the earbuds out. Her wolf ears wiggled a bit before she stood up grabbing alphas sheath and letting the strap over one shoulder. She walked over to the young man, being careful not to get hit by him. "Hello" she said waiving one of her clawed hands in front of him to get his attention.

Venedrict hadn't even sat down since he got on the airship. He was bouncing from place to place, full of energy as usual - especially so, since he was finally getting his dream of going to Beacon. He'd trained hard for nearly the whole of his life to get here, and now, he was on an express airship and on his way.
Face nearly pressed against the windows, he watched intently at the scenery beneath them - Beacon Academy! They were so close! So damn close! He was so excited he could barely focus, and there was a big grin constantly on his face. The grand arches, elegant spires, fountains and gardens, it was just like in the pictures, but somehow so much better, maybe because it was all real, all in the flesh. Probably.
As things rarely did well, something drew his attention. A small crowd had gathered around a few people, and he could just see someone flipping cards around in his hand. He seemed to be doing... magic tricks? Awesome! Ven loved magic tricks!
There was just one problem. He couldn't get close enough to see, not properly, and barging into the crowd held no success. That was when he saw a antlered faunus girl... running up the wall. Well, one guess what her semblance was. She could walk on walls! That was so cool!
Seeing her do that gave him an idea, and he drew one of his fu taos. Firing it out, the hook at the end alone was launched and hooked onto another luggage rail, and once it was secure, he pulled himself up, and then used the plants in his clothing to hold himself in place. He could see the card game -or maybe trick- going on from here, and there was also the faunus girl beside him.
Smiling, he decided to greet her.
"Hey there! I hope you don't mind me being a shameless copycat?"

Dahlia was starting to find hanging out at the luggage rack to be a real drag. Everyone was busy being amazed at the last trick, and the magician was sat there with a smug grin on his face. Booooooring. She didn't climb up to watch people going nuts over a trick she hadn't even seen. That made it worse! Dahlia was about to drop back down when a green haired human sprung up next to her, using some grappling hook sword and holding himself in place with...vines. Weirdo. Normal people just ran up the wall and used their hands! Normal people also weren't normally walking gardens, but hey, each to their own. Still, great minds and all...

"If I had my axe, I'd ask if you minded me pruning your jacket, but I guess I musta left it in my bag." Dahlia replied with an impish grin. "But hey, guess we both got the best seats in the house. This trip was really starting to drag." Dahlia started idly swinging backwards and forwards, the mere act of hanging still too much of a stretch for her. "Name's Dahlia Crimson. You?"

Mardi had been completely absorbed in his training pattern that he barely registered the voice of another calling out to him. He stopped just short of throwing a jab right in front of him when the young woman greeted him. "Oh why hello there. Sorry about that I just get so wrapped up within my training I just sorta fall into my own little rhythm." He looked down smiling as he pulled off his gauntlets seeing that he wouldn't have much need for them now. He noticed her ears first seeing that meant she was indeed a fanus, and that made him even more relaxed as many of his close friends had been of her race as well. "Pleasure to meet ya miss. The name is Mardi Ignacious Blackwell, or as my friends call me M.I.B." He extended his hand for her to shake it feeling joy to have found a possible friend to make getting through this whole Academy life easier.

Bora, Sunil, and Livius could see it from the window. Everything was moving upwards, which meant they were beginning to land. Sunil gave Chance his cards back and squeezed through the crowd again, happily exclaiming to her sister and their adopted brother.

"Yay! We're landing! We're here!"

Bora and Livius, who had been sitting a little ways away from them invested in his books, both got their bags ready while their younger sister threw hers on. Livius was at first their cousin, but when he was young his parents had perished during a Grimm attack. He, of course, was far too young to even remember who his parents were so he was fine mentally and emotionally. Livius was adopted to Bora's and Sunil's parents to keep him from going to an orphanage. Even though he had received the same treatment as Sunil, he trained with Bora and his uncle from afar, taking notes and doing what he could to perfect it.

Livius put his book away, grinning happily at Bora, who looked like she could care less. The airship landing caused a slight turbulence, but nothing too rough, and the doors opened.

The trio followed the other passengers out and got a look at Beacon, which looked a lot more beautiful in person. Sunil, out of the three, was losing it in her excitement. But, seeing Bora was still as cool as a cucumber to the whole thing, tried to keep her composure. Livius, seeing the two girls were calm, remained calm to not be the only one expressing how cool Beacon was. He didn't like to be the outcast. They could see that students were already heading to where they needed, which was the main hall. The Wintervals had no idea where they were going.

"Fake it til you make it, I guess." Livius said, implying that they should follow where the students were going, which the sisters agreed.

@Iroh

After taking a long look at the oncoming view, Jay turned back to Creed. "Hey looks like we've arrived. I'm going to get going now, but it was nice meeting. Hope to see you again Creed." He gave firm handshake and a pat on the back before passing Creed and walking towards the crowd of people waiting at the airship's entrance.

There was a moderate bump as the ship landed, but after a couple of minutes, the doors opened to the courtyard of Beacon. While most of the students quickly rushed into the school that awaited them, Jay stopped in the middle of the crowd, gazing at the building before him. I still can't believe. I'm finally here. After getting bumped into by other students, he quickly moved on, joining the ranks of students wandering aimlessly through the school. Wait......Where the hell do I go from here?
