Running Where

Scotty watched as the man had come in only for a short amount of time and left. The man had kept a firm eye on him, but his actions seemed suspicious enough. He frowned and shrugged. He could have been another one of the small-time thieves that come in every now and then to scope out the place before coming back for more.

"No body is stealing from my shop," Scotty grumbled as he wiped the counter down.
 
Rune finally got home as he fell into his bed wearing nothing, but his boxers as he looks up at the ceiling. "You did something good sadly Ku might get arrested" he sighs softly. Arron pulls up in a black sports car getting out wearing a suit with a dark blue tie his hair was slicked back as he locked his car and walks into the shop seeing the older gentlemen as Arron walked to the counter. "Hello my good man could you help me with something?" Arron asked with a grin on his face.
 
Scotty watched as the slick sports car pulled up and raised a brow. He had the occasional rich guy come in before, so this was probably like any other as the man came in and approached him in need of assistance. "No problem," Scotty responded with a smile. "What can I help you with?"
 
"Well you see I'm looking for this DVD with this porn star in it I forgot her name, but I'll tell you what she looks like and maybe you could help me" Arron spoke. "Well she has dishwater blond hair and green eyes you can get lost staring into oh and boy does she have a hot temper" Arron then smirked as he reached into his suit pulling out a pistol holding the gun aiming it at the man's head. "I remember her name now it's Kurureenu and were is she old man" Arron chuckles softly as he had a mad look in his eyes. "I know she here and my boss wants that bitch to pay if not with money then that body will work in our clubs"
 
Scotty listened intently, his mind on helping his customer before he noticed the stranger pulling out the gun and pointing it at him. The man looked between the lavish man and the gun, slowly raising his hands. "Now look here..." he muttered. "I don't know who you are talking about."

If I play dumb long enough, he might be able to let me go. Even if he shoots me, Reeny can hear it and get away before they find her...
 
Arron looked at the old man and smirked. "You know I wanted to shot you, but I think I have a better idea" Arron chuckles as he pistol whips the man heard enough to knock him out as Arron jumps over the desk and gets the old man out and looks around seeing kinky straight jackets as he opens one and uses it to tie the man up then finds a gag ball and outfits the other with it as he walks out back to his car opening the trunk getting out a gas tank. Arron then walks back in as he starts to poor the gas onto the old man and the store floor. "Hmm something is missing" Arron thought as he looked around and took all the batteries out the smoke detectors . "Good now to smoke out that rat" Arron reaches into his suit pulling out a light as he sparks a flame and throws it onto the old man engulfing him in flames as Arron walks out getting into his car and moves it a block away
 
Kurureenu sat in the safe room, playing solitare with a random deck of cards in the room as she waited for time to pass. It wasn't long, though, that she started to smell smoke and the stench of many things burning. The woman set down the cards and stalked to the door, feeling it and feeling that it was warm. She frowned. This was the only exit out. She glanced around the room, grabbing the shirt she had come in with and wrapping it around her hand before carefully opening the door to a cloud of smoke.

The girl dropped to the floor, coughing to try to clear her lungs as she crawled around, squinting around to try to find Scotty. "Scotty!" she hollered, crawling around the counter to see something that was... shaped like a body... Kurureenu covered her mouth, feeling the urge to vomit but supressing it. She needed to get out...

Not through the front... she thought, heading to the back of the store and exiting, coughing and hacking. She walked across the alleyway, leaning against the wall heavily as she felt the effects of the smoke going through her. I have to get away... But I have nowhere else to go... she thought, pushing herself away from the wall and starting away from the building, tears stinging at her eyes either from the smoke damage or from the loss. She wasn't sure.
 
Rune couldn't sleep as he got up and walks to the window as he saw smoke coming from were the sex store was as he heard sirens as he quickly threw on pants a shirt and shoes as he ran out of his building and down the near by alley for a short cut to the store. "Ku please be safe" Rune spoke as he ran. Arron sat in his car as he heard sirens. "Dammit to hell she hasn't run out the front" he sighs as he places his head on the wheel. "There was a back door FUCK!!!" he yells as he starts his car and drives to the back.
 
Kurureenu heard sirens heading to the building and glanced back, noticing headlights starting to come around the building. She thought fast, quickly jogging over to a dumpster and hoisting herself inside it, gasping when her back hit the debris underneath. She stayed down and stayed quiet, waiting for the car coming to pass.

Maybe I'm better off staying here for the night... she thought, covering her mouth and staying down.
 
Arron drove by as he stops as he looks around not getting out the car seeing the door was open as flames where coming out. "Dammit that rat got away" he sighs softly as he drives off. Rune got to the back of the store seeing the flames as he saw tire tracks hearing sirens and people talking. "Sounds like the firefighters are here good" he sighs as he takes a seat leaning on the dumpster as he was breathing heavily. "Ku..." he spoke softly. "You here?"
 
Kurureenu heard the car drive off, finally releasing the breath that she didn't even know she was holding. She heard footsteps and went quiet again before hearing someone lean against the dumpster. Who the fuck does that...? she thought before hearing her name. She rustled around in the dumpster, climbing her way to the edge to peek over and see...

The guy from earlier that day.

"I'd say how much of a pathetic sight you are, moaning on about me and all, but I'm the one in a dumpster," she announced with a smirk.
 
Rune heard a voice looking up. "Ku are you alright?" he asked with a soft smile. "Also need a place to crash you can use my bed" he chuckles softly. "Well after you shower of course" he laughs softly
 
Kurureenu nodded slightly. "I would love to take you up on that offer, but it seems that I'm a lot more trouble than I'm worth," she responded with a small smile. "I will take you up on the shower, though... I didn't expect to go dumpster diving after getting smoked out. Also... Why are you even here?"
 
Rune blushed a tad from what Ku asked about him being here. "Well I saw the smoke from my apartment and well to be honest I really don't know myself" he sighs softly looking down remembering Arron's words about what he do to him if he helped Ku, but something in his gut told him Ku wasn't bad like Arron said. Rune then looked back up at Ku as he stood up. "Need help getting out of there?" he asked as he chuckles softly
 
Kurureenu nodded, holding out her arms and accepting Rune's help to be pulled out of the dumpster. Once she finally managed to be freed from the contraption, she wrinkled her nose toward the stench that clung onto her. "I smell like a dumpster fire," she grumbled and turned her attention toward Rune. "Can I bum some clothes off of you, too? I don't have a change for right now... Might need some cash, too. I'm not sure..."

She looked down at herself, in a borrowed tank top and a pair of borrowed shorts. Both were already dirty from the fire and the dumpster. She looked like she was homeless, she technically was now. They found where she lived, put a hold on any accounts that had her name on it. She didn't even have a phone to use. She was forced to do away with it since they were already tracking her by it.

I have no place else to go but nowhere...
 
Rune smiles softly to Ku asking for clothes. "Sure you can borrow some clothes though they might be big on you" he chuckles softly looking at Ku. "And don't worry I have some cash to lend you" he grins. "Come on lets get back to my place it's not safe here" Rune spoke as he starts walking down the alley back to his apartment. "And if you don't want to sleep in my bed I have a couch you had a long day and some well needed rest would do you good"
 
Kurureenu frowned toward his offer of a place to sleep. She glanced over her shoulder and behind her, as if she would see her pursuers at any moment. "I'm not sure..." she muttered before looking forward again. "You seen the guys after me. Do you really want to keep me around that long?"
 
Rune smiles softly. "Of course I want to help you Ku I don't care I'll help keep you safe" he froze realizing what he said and that he was going against Arron as he sighs softly. "I'm sure I want to help you Ku no matter what" he grins
 
The girl sighed, rolling her eyes. "Your funeral, then," she muttered before biting her lip and glancing back toward where the flames were slowly diminishing. It seems like there's going to be a lot of funerals happening around me now... she thought. "So... Where's this place of yours anyway? Is it close?"
 
Rune smiles softly. "Well it's a few blocks away Ku so just a short walk" Rune spoke looking at Ku. "would you like me to walk ahead and give you time to think by yourself?" he asked
