RP's over IM's/Skype/etc?

I can't find a darn thing on this, and I apologize if it was stated somewhere but; Is it okay to advertise for wanting a roleplay over an instant messenger of some kind rather than one running on Iwaku over threads/pms?

Yes I'm aware of the 'circumventing' rule regarding minors and sexual roleplay. I plan to post this request on the libertine request thread so only those 18+ can view/respond.
 
As long as you keep libertine requests in the 18+ section, it's no problem. We have members who mainly does chat roleplays through skype or roleplays in google documents or through e-mails. As long as rules are followed on the site and you're not trying to get underaged kids to cyber with you, there're no problems.
