It's been years since I last role-played and would like to get back into the swing of things. Here's a little bit of info

ABOUT ME
  • I'm from Hawaii so I'm sure our time zones will be very different.
  • I'm 29
  • My go-to rp venues are: Private threads. PM. Emails. Google docs.
  • If you're into face-claims I enjoy anime
  • OOC chatter is my jam so if you're friendly let's get to chatting about random stuff lol
  • Looking for a chill rp consisting of 2-6 paragraphs.
  • When reaching out to me, please have an idea of what you would like to rp/discuss.
  • I haven't roleplayed in a while but if you're curious about my writing style in the ancient days when rp was my life, here is an excerpt:
Being young, being so naive and foolish all at the same time had the potential to concoct a poison that muddled the mind and tainted the soul. It shifted one's priorities at times and even misguided the heart in what truly mattered the most. Skylar was a victim of such. He loved Yaoi for reasons no one could come to understand, and yet he adored and cherished his girlfriend as if she was the missing piece of a puzzled future he thought he'd never solve. They overlapped each other, mixed and intertwined into a jumbled mess of confusion that made it hard for him to determine what was of the utmost importance. It was difficult. Being able to balance the two and keeping his life with the Reapers in tact made it seem like he could never take a breath. It was like he was drowning, straining for air and struggling to resurface only to be pulled down when unforeseen circumstances literally knock the wind right out of him.

"Akira"

Hearing her voice suffocated him and it was as if time itself cease to exist. Was he in another dimension? Was the world itself splitting to make way for a great void to consume him? Whatever had cause the sudden shift in reality, Reina couldn't avoid it. His heart hammered in his chest and the fear of getting caught had him involuntarily clinging onto Akira for dear life. He hid behind the tall male like a shy little rabbit and buried his face into his best-friend's sleeve.

It wasn't fair!

Akira didn't have a body to hide behind! He couldn't just crawl into the same hole Reina attempted to seek refuge in because Abigail was right there, staring at him, waiting ever so patiently for a greeting. Talk about pressure! "Yo~ Bibi! I didn't know you were going to be here?!" Having excelled in all his courses relating to acting, Akira easily sounded like he was genuinely surprised. He even looked around the room as if excitingly searching for someone. "Never thought you could convince the Almighty Skylar to come to an event like this. I mean, can you imagine how sour his face would be when you're not looking." Akira laughed , for the sour face he spoke of was the only expression he ever received from his dear friend. "But it's so nice to meet you Mimi! Can I call you Mimi? Sorry, I just like shortening names because it sounds like were close friends, and seeing as you know Bibi here, I'm sure we won't have a choice but to be as close as two peas in a pod."

God, Akira's friendliness was nauseating. Reina would've commented on the need to regurgitate his breakfast if he wasn't being forced into the spotlight. "Oh, and this little gem right here..." Akira was pulling Reina out from behind him. He didn't want to be seen. Reina was so adamant in hiding that it nearly took all of Akira's strength to pry him out in the open. "This is Reina, my kid sister. Isn't she just adorable!? If she wasn't my sister, I'd marry her!" Akira had pinch Reina's cheeks to not only keep him in place, but to turn his little frown upside down. "You should have seen her when she was a child. She made all the little girls jealous of her cuteness. Ah! She's so cute!" Reina wanted nothing more but to punch Akira, strangle him, put him in a choke-hold and snap his neck for that ultimate finisher. But she couldn't. How could she when he himself could be pushing up daisies at any moment just looking at how drop dead gorgeous Abigail was.

Reina thought she was always beautiful. but to see her literally dressed to impress was so jaw-dropping that Reina couldn't stop staring, let alone form a coherent sentence. She was just looking at her like a grade A creeper, his eyes boldly scanning her from head to toe as if undressing her with her eyes. 'Why the ******** did I cancel our date again?' He mused regretfully just thinking about how good it would've felt to have Abigail in his arms. The urge to hold her was so bad Reina almost went for the embrace, but stopped himself when he realized he was wearing a garter.

Damn.

But wait?! Why the hell was so much leg showing when Skylar wasn't there to protect her. She was his delicate flower! And guys were actually looking at her in a way that made him want to punch everyone in the face. '******** Yumi, I bet this was her idea! Always trying to get her to hook up with someone else.' It was no secret Yumi hated Skylar with ever fiber of her being. Every time they so happened to walk pass each other in school, it always felt like she was giving him the coldest glare that could very much turn hell itself into the Arctic.

"Aren't you going to greet them, Reina?" The prompt inquiry snapped him out of his thoughts and forced him to look at Abigail with cheeks flushed. How does one 'word' again? Did he have to open his mouth first to speak? Or think then speak? How does the process go?!

"I think you...um...pretty ...you look pretty...like um...um....like a model?" Was it time for him to punch himself in the face? Because Reina was sounding pretty stupid right about now and he wasn't sure if Akira's idiocy rubbed off on him or if Abagail was just that pretty. It was obvious the latter was to blame so Reina was forced to lower her gaze just so he could introduce himself. How pathetic. "Name's Reina." That was the best he could do. If anyone was expecting more than that then the progression from there had to be put on hold because security guards were now approaching them.

"Excuse me, Ms." A burly male accompanied by two other officers who looked just as serious as the first lifted Reina's attention from the floor. They glared down at him with an authoritative air about them that would have been met with one of Skylar's infamous smug responses: "You are excused, now what the hell do you want?" But he held his tongue. He had other combative tactics at his disposal after all, and that meant he had to act as girly and defenseless as his ego would allow. He formed a loose fist in front of pouty lips and batted her lashes as eyes shimmered with tears on the verge of spilling. "Y-yes, is something wrong officers?"

"We have received complaints that you physically assaulted a guest." The most intimidating officer of them all had motioned toward the said guest who stood from afar still nursing the wrist Reina had nearly shattered into pieces. "We ask that you and your party hand over your convention passes and leave the premises immediately." Like the most pathetic anime character one could think of, Reina cried. It was a good thing he had decided on wearing waterproof mascara because the 'water works' was pouring out of him by the gallon. "Y-You don't understand officer. I-I just wanted the book from an artist that literally changed my life for the better. Having the opportunity to see her today and getting one of her exclusive books meant so much to me that I just lost it. I didn't mean to lash out like that but they are not only obnoxious jerks who don't belong here, but they don't deserve to lay their grimy hands on the manga I spent hours in line to own."

He hiccupped, he sniffled and cried. Reina even covered his face with his hands in an attempt to hide the shame that was a hysteric fangirl losing his s**t over a manga. He did everything to convince the men to let him off with a warning, but despite his Oscar winning performance, they still insisted that he hand over his badge and leave. "Please calmly follow us as we escort you off the premises."

This was pissing him off. Why weren't they being swayed by his girlish charm?! He had let go of his pride for ******** sakes! He thought that would have soften up their hard-press gazes; but no; they were as heartless as ever. Reina had done a complete 180 once he realize the damsel in distress route wasn't going to work. He glared daggers at the bastards who discreetly chuckled from a safe distance. They smirked and that smug look on their faces had set something off in him that almost made Reina go on a murder spree.

"How does it feel getting your a** nearly handed to you by a girl?!" Their victorious grins disappeared within seconds upon hearing his harsh remark shouted across the room. Reina wiped his tears away, his pride and arrogance slowly returning to him. "Fine." She said sharply at the officers who wasn't phased by her attitude in the slightest. "I'll go, but my friends didn't have anything to do with the ruckus I apparently caused. I'm solely to blame so leave them out of this."

"I'll leave with her." Akira offered but Reina shook his head in refusal. "Just enjoy the con, big brother. I acted without thinking about the consequences and I should be punished accordingly." He smiled sweetly. "Besides, you need to get all the posters and manga on my list, remember?"

Maybe this was for the best. Perhaps leaving before Abigail unraveled the truth of his identity was a blessing in disguise. It was that thought alone that encouraged him to take off the badge and exit the room without incident. But before he left, he looked back at Abigail just so he could appreciate the beauty that was the girlfriend Skylar didn't deserve.

PROMPTS

► You just got bitten by a [demon/vampire/other supernatural being] before I could kill the damn thing. And here I thought my night couldn't get any worse.
► You broke my heart all those years ago. The least you can do is hire me and give me this job of a lifetime. (Kind of prefer a kpop cordi-oppa/stylist x Idol/manager or something along those lines.)

► I am a formidable demon from the fiery depths of the underworld, so stop summoning me you puny human!
► I hate you, you hate me, but we're the most popular cosplayers in town and our fan base want a photobook just the two of us. So let's just do this small trip to different places and conventions, do that yaoi shit, get some cash and be done with it.
► Surprise! We got you an android girlfriend. *opens box* Another surprise, we ordered it wrong and it's actually a dude robot. No refunds!
► So. instead of trying to get a real date, you want me to cross-dress and be your plus-one? Okkayyy, but to let you know, you'll owe me two huge favors!
PLOTS

Supernatural Being x Cursed Human
Muse A's grandfather made a deal with the devil in order to save his daughter's life. He signed a contract, didn't bother to read it over and now he's faced with the consequences of his desperation as the demon warned he'll soon collect not only his soul but the soul of his grandson once the old man's life comes to an end. There was nothing he could do to revert a deal that had already been signed in blood. So in yet another fit of desperation, he did his research and was successful in summoning Muse B (insert demon/angel/any other supernatural being), in order to bind Muse A's soul to a being who had two choices: Protect his grandson or die with him.
Officer x Preternatural Human
It was ordain by the government officials of the justice system that those who possess preternatural abilities were to be executed without question. A was a part of the special task force who rid the world of what many referred to as anomalies. They were equipped with state of the art gear and weaponry to fight against them. But when they realized weapons weren't enough, A was thrown into an experimental program that paired him up with B, a preternatural human who agreed to kill his own kind.
