She opened her locker and chucked her books. She slammed it shut then locked it.

She took another route since she'll see that guy again. She went the other way and entered the library.

He stayed asleep for quite some time until he got woken by the bell.

She grabbed a lot of books and started poring through them.

Jake laid in the back of his truck staring at the sky in a deep thought

Riley Tensil was skating through the school parking lot since he started tomorrow and wanted to scope the place. His teal colored wind blown hair tucked into his grey beanie . He smiled as he saw no one there and pulled out his guitar and started playing his favorite song acoustically andsang."Oh misty eyes of the mountain below-" he started and sang on.

She was looking up in the sky when she heard someone singing. "Geez, now I'm wondering why do I keep coming to school" she muttered to herself.

Chuquita made her way through the school parking lot, her head moving along with the music coming from the neon green headphones around her neck. Her first day of school went fairly well. Though her classes were not that interesting, she still had a bit of fun on her art and music classes. She was glad that she had most of her classes with some of the friends, she made last year, so she didn't need to worry about making new friends or feeling lonely in her new classes.

She remembered how difficult it was the year before; she had been the new girl in school and in town. Some of the kids in the school already knew Spanish very well and that helped her a lot, to understand her classes; but still, many wouldn't talk to her because she seem unapproachable due to the fact that she didn't talk much. However, they came to understand that she didn't talk because she didn't want to, but because she couldn't speak proper English. Coming from another country was difficult but she quickly adapted and once she learned that language everything else was a 'piece of cake'.

As she walked along the few cars that were still parked, -probably from the kids that got detention on the first day, which was not surprising considering how troublesome some of them were- she remembered that she still hadn't called her mother to come and pick her up. Quickly taking out her phone from the pocket of her black and green hoodie, she started to mark her mother's number. As she was about to hit the call button, she heard what sounded like a male voice singing. 'Am I hearing things...?' Forgetting about calling her mom, Chiquita -or Shorty like many of her friends call her since Chiguita means Short in Spanish- followed the voice and as she came around one of the parked car, she stumble a guy with teal colored hair covered by a grey beanie, who was playing guitar and yes, he was the one singing. 'He has a nice voice...'

Now that she was closer, she recognized the song he was singing and couldn't help herself and started singing along. "Keep careful watch of my brothers' souls...And should the sky be filled with fire and smoke...Keep watching over Durin's son..." Losing herself to the song and the tune of his guitar, she didn't notice that she was getting louder and that the guy could probably hear her voice. Though, it's not like she would care, since she sang everyday through the school hallways, her headphones always blasting music into her ears.

As he sang the song he started hearing background vocals . They sounded amazing and added more feeling to the music. As the song ended he got up. He saw a girl standing in the distance. He walked over to her.
"Hey im Riley."

Brendan returned from home, he went to get his inhaler, and took some of his medication.
He parked and noticed people standing in the parking lot.

He parked and got out, hoping he wouldn't bother anyone in their conversations.

He put on his leather jacket and started walking slowly.

Maria heard two voices now. She peeked to see a girl singing. That girl again, she thought. She was about to go back to her lying down when she saw that guy who gave her soda. She followed his walking with her eyes.

He looked down, trying to avoid people.
He had upset 2 people already, contact didn't seem the smartest option.

He hated the fact that he could never find any friends, but it was easier this way he thought.
That way he wouldn't have to hurt anyone when he'd have to leave again.

She observed he looked kinda sad so against her better judgement, she called him.

He looked up and shook his head, and just kept walking.

She was disappointed he didn't want to talk to her. My fault to begin with. She laid down herself again and just stared at the sky.
