Every few years, a Grand War is held between the five City-States of Vasha, meant to train new Elites and keep the City-States battle-ready. The animal Callers of Lucia, the healing Clerics of Josephine, the magic-wielding Elementals of Miranda, the mind-warping Psychers of Rochelle, and lastly, the noble Chaos Knights of Tristan. It's almost time for a Grand War to begin, and to prepare, the City-States have exchanged trainees between each other. Squire Knights from Tristan, Minders from Rochelle, Ringers from Lucia, Priests from Josephine, and Slingers from Miranda. These trainee groups don't usually get bigger than two from each City-State, but there are some special cases. Rare, but there.

Let's follow one of those special cases, shall we?

The Grand War starts in three months, and these rookies need to learn to work together before they can become proper Elites.

This is gonna be my first attempt at a large scale RP. I'm expecting a minimum of 10 players, but there's always room for more. The usual rules apply, but there's a couple that I'd like to point out specifically:
  • Please be reasonable with your character. Nothing ridiculous like defeating an entire room of warriors with ease or killing someone in a single stroke.
  • Please don't leave the other players behind. If we have to wait for someone, we'll wait for them for about a week before they get dropped. If you think we should wait longer, just mention it in the OOC.
The character skeleton will be put up tomorrow, but if you're interested, just chime in with a placeholder!

Here's the Character Skeleton:

Name: (Obvious.)
Age: (16 and up, please.)
Gender: (Let's keep things balanced if we can, but no preference here.)
Hometown: (Which City-State are they from? This determines which rookie class they fall into.)
Skills: (What can they do with their powers so far? Nothing too complicated, please.)
Specialty: (What does your character specialize in? What do they prefer to use? This can be a favorite weapon, or a favorite skill, or just a general thing.)
Appearance: (Self explanatory. Either a picture or a well-written description. The outfit in the picture won't matter, so don't worry too much about that.)
Personality: (Self-explanatory.)
Aspirations: (Goals in life, goals for the Grand War, etc.)
Strengths: (What are they good at?)
Weaknesses: (What are they bad at?)
Background: (Some context information about who they are and why they're the way they are)
Other: (Anything else you feel like adding.)

Depending on how many players we get, I may end up making different skeletons for each rookie class, but for now, I'm keeping it simple.

Here's descriptions for what each class of Elites can do:

Chaos Knights are the Elites from Tristan. They wield Light and Dark magic in tandem and are experts in mixing physical and magical attacks. They're the most soldier-like of the Elite Classes, and are usually found on the front lines.

Elementalists are the Elites from Miranda. As the name suggests, they use powerful elemental magic based off of the Western Cardinal Elements. Stronger Elementalists are capable of mixing their elements and creating new ones based on the elements used. Elementalists are also front liners, but tend to stay behind in the formation so they don't get hit.

Callers are the Elites from Lucia. They can communicate with and summon various animals depending on what they want and what they need. Typically, summoning wild animals is risky, so Callers usually have a few trained animals waiting at the camp. Callers are usually scouts and informants on the battlefield, avoiding the main conflicts.

Clerics are the Elites from Josephine. Healers, first and foremost, there's not many Clerics that also invest in offensive Holy magic. The ones that do, though, can outmatch Chaos Knights in terms of pure magical power. Clerics are rarely found on the front lines.

Psychers are the Elites from Rochelle. Powerful mind readers and mental manipulators, Psychers are rarely found on the battlefield in general, with most being interrogators and couriers. Those that do fight, though, tend to be fairly competent fighters, being able to read their opponent's moves before they can be used. Extremely skilled Psychers can dominate battlefields single-handedly, though this takes decades of experience to pull off.
