Episode One:
THE MENDICANT ORDER

ship.jpg

"Four-score and seven hours... and now we shall begin."

The Firestorm Class Escort Ship, Elsinore hung in geosynchronous orbit of the Deltes Asteroid, matching its fickle twists and turns. Its dorsal chambers were less than a hundred feet from the surface of the rock. Ship and asteroid spun like silent dance partners in the dead of space.

Three and a half days ago, its sister ship, the Cobra Class, Wittenburg, had jumped to warp following completion of a mock training exercise with the Elsinore. Under the direction of the Most Reverent Envoy of the Adeptus Mechanicus, the Wittenburg had detonated a torpedo in its wake that would produce a fake warp signature... the illusion of a dual jump.

And since that moment, the Elsinore had hid behind the Deltes Asteroid, concealed from the prying eyes of their target... the Shrine Planet of Cloister.

BFGComicSection2C_tif.jpg

On the cavernous bridge, stood between the myriad light of stainglass windows and Imperial standards, the Captain pocketed his antique timepiece. Smoothing his naval jacket, checking cuffs and collar, he clasped his hands behind his back and cleared his throat.

"By the Emperor's leave, prepare to end Symphony Delta Nine."

On the other side of the command lectern, the Flag-Lieutenat snapped to attention in ceremonial garb. "Confirmed. PREPARE TO END SYMPHONY DELTA NINE!"

"Prepare to end Symphony Delta Nine!"

"Prepare to end Symphony Delta Nine!"

The call was taken up by runners and vox-casters, passing along the great hallways of the bridge. As it echoe into the distance the Captain gripped the lectern, his face lit by the eerie glow of awakening systems. "Pray silence the Choir of Night."

"PRAY SILENCE THE CHOIR OF NIGHT!"

"Pray silence the Choir of Night!"

"Invoke the Choir of Fortitude."

"INVOKE THE CHOIR OF FORTITUDE!"

"Invoke the Choir of Fortitude!"

choir.jpg

Half a mile below, in the cathedral-sized vaults beneath the engine room, one choir of serfs fell silent while another began, a low chant giving way to sharp and righteous song. There was drumming in the deep, rousing thunder as the engines rose from their slumber. The ship shook and lurched, like a beast rearing at its leash.

On great chains overhead, ordinance was swung into loading breaches and fuel-lines opened. In every crevice of the ship, orders and holy mantras were recited.

The Elsinore dropped from the shadow of the asteroid and swooped towards the bleak and barren shape of the planet below. Its underbelly burned against the atmosphere, a blazing star that would light the sky of Cloister this night. It was a dead planet, with nought but a single group of structures built years ago by the Black Templars. But the Space Marines had long departed and now their bastions were inhabited by a Mendicant Order... a community of pigrims living on prayer and charity.

They would never know what hit them.

The ordinance bays of the Elsinore opened, dropping the house-sized demolition charges into the atmosphere. Five of them in all, the explosives rocketted through the atmosphere and tore towards the surface. Then the planet shook as five mushroom-clouds blossomed in perfect shape.

And then, from the launch bays, emerging through a mist of censer-smoke and adorned in holy oils, the Aquila Lander craft dropped. The tiny vessel was rocked by g-forces as it fell from the Elsinore and crashed through the atmosphere.

It spiralled and spun, corkscrewing through the eye of the firestorms, down, down, down into the heart of corruption, carrying its cargo of Imperial Agents.

And in the old chapel of St Drusuus below, the Cult of the Evertore knew they had nowhere left to run....

Scene Sample:
I'm still in shock, oh, by the hells, Angela is going to be dead!!! Halfway through the party, Sybilla showed up, carrying something in a basket. Our mistress had a glimmer in her eyes… Something was not right. She looked very sad, and suddenly Mistlyn started to cry...
I didn't understand, until I saw what was in the basket...It was my son, my beloved James... only..... He was barely breathing! Our poor angel, why would she do something like this? Why, Iuido, why? That damn stupid bitch Angela did it, I know she did!

Now, she's going to pay…I felt the rage in body increase, my motherly instincts are telling me to defend my child. Angela has no idea what passion she has just unleashed.

I then turned to my husband, "Joshua , how can this have happened? How! It's not fair, it's just not fair!! She got no more that she deserved...Why did she hate me, us... Joshua , help me!"

My mind started to reach with a mixture of anger and depression; a feeling that I have not felt in months…. "Eve, I know, my love, my sweet...This so not right, it goes against all the faye tribes. Angela was just born bad, and..." He stopped when he saw my face, the glow disappeared, they were almost demonic like, I would guess. "Eve, are you ok? Oh, shit! I've seen that look before." "I know you have.... Joshua , let's go!" Oh, shit and a pile of it, my eyes must have that wild look in them, because Joshua didn't dare try and stop me... I stormed down the several flights of stairs from Mistlyn's flat. The nasty red paint that was peeling off the walls, seemed stick to the wall as I passed. Joshua followed close behind me, in my blind rage, it was Mistlyn that would have to look after my child as he struggled to cling to life.

Like a hawk hunting its prey, I soon found the degraded faye basking in her 'glory' in Central Park. The trees gave off moaning creeks as I passed. Nature seemed to feel my rage. Angela was lying on the ground staring up at the stars. She had a dark smile on her face as my blade neared her face. "Oh' Angela dear, we need to talk, NOW!" She shot up, "About what, lovely Mrs. Eve?" Angela replied, having almost as much sarcasm in her voice as me. "Did you get my present? I thought I'd come to see that you received it, but then again, why should I have bothered? It would have been better if you had let Malden raise that little brat, eh? But darn, it looks like the Elder race will just die completely, what a shame. More like a relief!" She added, her voice like thunder...

"Oh, that's what you think is it? If Joshua and I do die, you will all die, although some of you would deserve it!" I shouted several times over. She may have a voice like thunder, but I have one like that of a raging storm... "Good-bye, Angela ! You never were fit to love anyone!" Her eyes widen as she felt the cold blade enter her weak and frail form.

"What....Noooooooooo!" I then noticed that it was not my blade that pierced her, but a large faye. He was dressed in a charcoal cape, he had some body armor on, but nothing too flamboyant, just a simple black paint scheme. "Tsk, Tsk. Now, harming a child to get personal revenge. Only a true coward would do something like that." He slapped her lifeless face, "Now, you will be judged by beings even higher than us."

He then raised his giant form over me, "So we meet again, Miss Eve. Such a pity, that a pretty girl like her had to meet a fate of a common criminal. But it is my duty to purge the world's of such evils." I looked at him with my normal fighting stance, "Why do you keep following me around? I know that you are the same being that I have meet several times now. Who the hell are you?" The faye then smiled, "You can just call me Mr. Mainz." He then tipped his hat, to reveal a head full of red hair. Soon he just walked away, his very annoying leather boots squeaking with very step he took. Joshua then came running to me...I was crying and laughing, and I don't know why! I'm just a mess. Mistlyn was already busy making something to help me...Oh, they both love me so much....

I collapsed near the closet tree, "James…. Where is he?" Joshua sighed, "He is back at my home. He has sustained a collapsed lung, and luckily, by using an old Forbidden Beast spell, he should be alright." Misty jumped when she noticed Angela 's body laying in the grass, "Eve! Please dear god! Don't tell me…" I interrupted her, "Shut up. No, I didn't kill her. Some grey clad freak calling himself, Mr. Mainz, did." Mistlyn rolled her eyes, "Eve, don't start giving out bull crock now. Mainz is the surname of Elrik's band, he had no sons, so his bloodline died off with him." Joshua put his hand over Misty's mouth, "Come now. We have more important things to worry about." He helped me to my feet and then helped me back towards Misty's flat. The red head stood there for a brief moment, "Ah…. We aren't just going to leave that thing here are we? Hello? We have a dead faye here. Oh fine." Mistlyn then pulled out her little magical stone of the forest. Soon the body of Angela disappeared into the earth. "Not exactly a duty that this poor talisman should be doing…."

As we reentered the flat, Sybilla was keeping a close eye on some strange, almost poor, looking man talking to James, "I see, well that would be an amazing feat, not even Grandmaster Guy could have handled that." Since I was no mood to deal with more freaks, I did what I do best and yell, "Who are you? Another freak that likes to follow us around?!?!" Mistlyn then gasped, "Grandmaster Dedrick? What are you doing here? If I knew that you were coming, I would have cleaned this place up." Dedrick stood up, "Hello Lady and Lord Silverstien, your son was just telling me about the journey that you have been going on." Joshua bowed, "Sir, what brings you here?" The Grandmaster smiled, "Well I am hear to give you some good news." All three of us stared blankly, "Oh… Well, yes. I have been able to track her. The biggest problem is that with my last check, Val is still well over 15 hours away, but that is by the use of a car. I doubt that Mistlyn is willing to pay for that much gas. Anyways, if you start on your journey soon, I can tell you that Valoreto is located in a small town, but her movements are strange, she never seems to stay still."

"Whatever." I said, as I pushed the man out of my way to get to James. "And about little James…." Another voice mentioned as two more weirdoes came out from the kitchen, "The High Counsel of Uke wants him out of harm's way. Thus, it would be for the best." A female faye, with black hair mentioned. Behind her was a boyish looking faye, who seemed rather embarrassed to be in the same room as us. He mentioned, "Yes, Miss Tamara is correct. Hello, I am, ah…. Jack, yes…" I was about to say no, when Joshua nodded his head, "I will have to agree with them. Although, I don't want our son to leave our sides, the Uken Order is very powerful, the Y'ieth wouldn't dare to enter there." I frowned, "Fine, but I want to come back to us as soon as this frackin' mission is over with!" The Grandmaster and his two followers smiled. That night we would have to make our goodbyes for awhile, James would be staying in the Capital of the Northern Kingdom, Uke.

Xin's Resume

Kidnappable?: Please please please. I need more RP to be doing!
I am Seeking: I'll do one-on-one, but I really prefer larger groups whenever possible.
Playing Habits: I can guarantee I'll probably look at all the RPs I'm in just about every day, unless I'm on some kind of trip. Whether or not I post after looking, though, is dependent on numerous factors, some of which I'm not even aware of, but all the same I consider myself quite consistent.
Gender You Prefer Playing: I consider both equally valid; characters come into my head with gender as part of their identity and it would be kind of weird to switch it up on them.
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Magical, Fantasy, Action, Adventure, Fantasy
Non-Favorite Genres You'll Still Play: Sci-fi, Romance.
Genre You DON'T Like: I can't play a pure-realistic modern RP. I just can't come up with good characters and writing for it. I'm not a huge fan of horror, and I don't do same-gender romantic relationships, to the point of refusing to even call them by their Japanese euphemisms.
Playing Style: Depends on the ideas I have, and whether I'm supposed to be in charge of the RP or not. I'll usually ask permission before doing anything terribly plotsy to someone else's RP.
Plot Candies: Battle scenes and character development. Also, I won't always do it, but if I can slip a werewolf or something like a werewolf somewhere into your setting it's generally good for my chances of joining.
Character Stereotypes: I'll try just about anything once, and I never really know just what sort of character my imagination will cook up next. That being said, I do like playing fairly intelligent characters, and also enjoy playing well-aligned characters or people with good in them.
Character No-Gos: Again, no same-gender romantic relationships--see above.
Random Notes: I like humor. Being all serious and melodramatic and tragic all the time kind of turns me off to a story. Also, I tend to censor my own characters' cuss words, which I guess is a little weird.
Scene Sample:
Marketplaces are always busy in the early afternoon, regardless of the day of the week or what town it is. It hadn't taken Karyn very long to learn when one of his previous masters had him pick up components or supplies: If you wanted to buy anything, and weren't crafty enough to get a good deal out of a crowded shopkeeper trying to keep up with an ever-growing crowd, pick just about any other time to buy it. This city was bigger than any he'd been in before, so the difficulty was multiplied. Fortunately, the young half-elf wasn't here to buy anything.

It was awfully loud. All of the yelling and bartering and conversation managed to blend together into a wall of noise as he walked in the street that made him constantly aware and weary of his 'superior' hearing. Surely in a crowd like this there would be a wizard who would take him! Karyn had not seen a mage's tower or study anywhere in this town, but he was beginning to think that an apprenticeship under a sedentary mage wouldn't be as interesting as a traveler anyway.

The trouble was that he wasn't quite sure what a traveling mage looked like. Those he had tried to be apprenticed to so far had all been sedentary, elderly, and wore large robes that would be impractical on dusty roads or in battle, so he was sure that wasn't what he should look for. When you come right down to it, there just isn't that much in appearance to separate a mage from any other man or woman except when they are in the act of casting spells, and the marketplace was hardly ideal for that.

After awhile of looking, and being yelled at to buy this or that or to get out of the way--for everyone was in a great hurry, it seemed--Karyn found a good wall nearby and leaned back on it, deciding to see whether anyone would be curious and idle enough to ask him what he was looking for, or whether he would just get lucky and notice a mage somewhere. He noticed after a few seconds that he had a tail, hanging limply behind his legs, but decided they hid it well enough for the moment.

Kidnappable?: Yes, but I'm a bit picky with my RPs.
Playing Habits: depends on my workload, but I should be able to make at least two posts a week. If I get back into it, maybe more.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Female
Favorite Genres: Fantasy and Historical
Genre You DON'T Like: Sci Fi
Playing Style: Passive Supportive-I like to work with the crew to take the story deeper, exploring all aspects of the characters over the course of the story, a tapestry woven from several side stories integrated perfectly with the main story and seamlessly with each other.
Plot Candies: Romance, side stories, magic
Character Stereotypes: It's not a matter of what I like, it's what I can do and what I hate doing. Asides from my No-Gos, I'm open to try anything at least twice.
Character No-Gos: macho characters, badasses, high maintenance characters
Random Notes: I am a little rusty for not having RPed for a year or so.
Scene Sample: Will put one up as soon as I find/make one good enough.
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: RP (status)
Valkyries' Last Stand (registering)

Kidnappable?:
Kind of. I'll gladly hear your ideas/invites, I just might not join. Always ALWAYS open to help at the very least.
Playing Habits:
I can post pretty often but I tend to get busy with school. I'll let you know ahead of time if I'll be absent.
Gender You Prefer Playing:
Experienced with both.
Favorite Genres:
Horror, fantasy, sci-fi, steam punk, yaoi, yuri, neko, apocalypse, sexy... I'm open to anything.
Genre You DON'T Like:
Kay, I lied, not ANYTHING. I don't do high school, furry, or mecha. I also prefer to not participate in anymore mass RPs, as they stress me out tremendously. Too much reading, too many demands...
Playing Style:
I can do anything!
Plot Candies:
Bloodshed, romance, plot twists, life changing experiences for characters.
Character Stereotypes:
I have a variety of styles... I don't like to play the same kind for every RP. I like to try something different and apply some of my different personalities to it. Looking at the trends of my current characters... Males are dorky but badass, while the females are broken up inside but still smiley on the outside, or tomboys. Like I said, I have a variety when it comes to characters. I'm eager to try anything.
Character No-Gos:
I have yet to find a character I wouldn't play. I think I just won't play furry anthros, those are kinda gross.
Random Notes:
I'm a college student, be patient when I request it. ;)

Kidnappable?: Feel free to dump your ideas on me at any time. :D I'll read them and look over them, and if I feel like I can or want to join, I will.

Playing Habits: I'll post, at least do my best with it, no longer than a few days after the last post. Still trying to get better at posting quickly.

Gender I Prefer Playing: Usually male, but I'll play female if it seems to fit the plot pretty well. :3

Favorite Genres: Fantasy, horror/gore, medieval, and anything that seems to catch my interests.

Genre You DON'T Like: Not a big fan of romance type rps.

Playing Style: Either is fine, just depending on the Rp.

Plot Candies: Love me some bad-ass killing sprees. :3 Wars, a new world, something based entirely on a new race, demons. Adorkable little school-girls with a bad-ass attitude for killing. :3 (<<< Haven't done an rp with something like that in a LONG time.)

Character Stereotypes: Gunslinging bad-ass, the insane person, the real smart person of the group who doesn't show or act like it, the dumb-ass alcoholic who has a potty mouth and no manners who ends up being part of saving the world or something, the young genius, and loners that pack a punch.

Character No-Gos: Sob-story, whiny females, annoying little brats who like to hog the attention, and characters in relation with that.

Random Notes: I have an open mind to things, so feel free to share anything with me. Whether you don't like my post and want me to change it, or you don't like my character or some sort like that. Don't be afraid to tell me these things and I'll be sure to try and fix whatever you want me to fix. <3

Kidnappable?: Sure
Playing Habits: Availability is pretty high right now. I'm used to posting frequently.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Male preferred.
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, sci fi, modern, horror and magical.
Genre You DON'T Like: None really. If I can understand it and enjoy it I'll do it.
Playing Style: I'm generally aggressive, but, since I'm pretty rusty I'll probably be passive at first till I get my feet wet so to say.
Plot Candies: I enjoy action scenes. Wether it be dueling with swords and magic or a full scale war. Warhammer 40k is my current obsession so that would be a big draw in for me.
Character Stereotypes: I play a wide variety. But my favorites would have to be shoot first ask question laters good guy or a really villanous bastard. Psychotics too.
Character No-Gos: I'd have to say the whiney sensetive type.
Random Notes: I'm rusty, but really excited to get back into online roleplaying. I can play a wide variety of character types able to fit into most plots.
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: None.

Kidnappable?: Sure, depending on if I like the RP
Playing Habits: Am on every evening, so when my turn comes, I usually post.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Male
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Scifi, Some Modern, Yaoi stuff ok. Occasional furry
Genre You DON'T Like: Aggressive war stuff, school life
Playing Style: Passive-aggressive
Plot Candies: Stuff that causes usually antagonistic characters to come together and develop friendships. (I admit, I am sappy sometimes. The occasional romance is not out of the question
Character Stereotypes: Quiet, deceptively powerful guy that's been hurt and is dealing with a tough past.
Character No-Gos: Asshats, Boneheads, Monkeybrains….you get the idea
Random Notes: I am bisexual, so that comes through in my characters.
Scene Sample: http://space-kitten.org/iwaku/showthread.php?t=2378
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: A Desperate Race, and the OOC for Worlds Collide 2.0 Not a great lot, but thats what it is….Also now in The Mirror of Dreams and the OOC for the Clans of Raeym

Kidnappable?: For the most part, it may be more effective to use a fishing rod and bait.
Playing Habits: I can post once ore twice a week
Gender You Prefer Playing: both but male is more common
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Scifi, Modern
Genre You DON'T Like: Romance or daily life
Playing Style: both but I'm aggressive more often than not (If you think I'm pushing the plot to much or you think that such is immanent just warn me off)
Plot Candies: anything where my character can be "supper human", have some sort of special ability, ect.
Character Stereotypes: anything thought I have a hard time with the crazy people
Character No-Gos: a naive or ignorant character is beyond me
Random Notes: I'm really good at thinking up strange/original names of people places or things
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In:
Living in the land of Boo
To Slay a Dragon

Meh, why the fuck not. I haven't made anything yet.

Kidnappable?: I'm open to ideas, but fair warning, I'm a tad picky so you'll really have to grab my attention for me to say yes.
Playing Habits: I'm around at some point everyday
Gender You Prefer Playing: Born a dude, die a dude.
Favorite Genres: I don't want to give this blanket coverage. Again, get my interested and I'm probably up for most things
Genre You DON'T Like: See above.
Playing Style: I like to be a mix of both passive and aggressive. If things are going at a good pace for me, I'll roll along for the ride, if things start slowing down, you bet I'm gonna try to make something happen.
Plot Candies: I don't really have anything like that.
Character Stereotypes: You can usually expect me to play a character that knows his way around a sword if the RP in question allows it and it fits with the theme. I've been also wanting to try a sort of "Outside looking in" kind of character. I'm sure as hell not above playing a villain who interacts heavily with the story and characters involved. You know. The kind that'll try to wipe the floor with you if you run into him.
Character No-Gos: When I'm in to RP I'm in to do it seriously most of the time. Don't expect me to play any incompetent lackeys, idoits, or joke characters in general.
Random Notes: Said it before, I'll say it again. If things get really slow, expect me to start looking to other people and ask "What the hell, man!?" If that doesn't work, expect me to be talking to GMs trying to figure out ways to kick start things. I join RPs to try and have fun. Not wait two weeks to be able to post again.

Kidnappable?: I suppose, so long as we have a safe word! (Pumpkin)
Playing Habits: Once a day, but if I'm in an RP I will be constantly checking to see if people post.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Male
Favorite Genres: Horror, Survival, Puzzle, Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Drama
Genre You DON'T Like: Romance, Smut
Playing Style: Passive, I enjoy adding my own story into the mix, but I have bad luck with trying to lead others in a story.
Plot Candies: A great plot that doesn't take away from the roleplay, but also isn't so open that the players don't know where to go. I live for the character conversations and friendships they create, as well as the backstabs and betrayals.
Character Stereotypes: I enjoy playing a classy, handsome individual who is very to himself. Loyal to whatever side he's on, but isn't necessarily a good/bad guy
Character No-Gos: I love character romance in RPs, but I absolutely will not get involved in them.
Random Notes: -jots down scribbles on a Post-It and shows it to the person reading- If you can understand this... I'm feel sorry for you.
Scene Sample: (Using New Vegas as a reference tool for the room)
The door to the schoolhouse creaked open, and the light from the outside barely lit the open space in front of me. Turning on my flashlight I scanned the room, but the only things I saw were turned over schooldesks and broken floorpanels. My heart racing, I could swear I heard a subtle scuttering sound. I flashed the light all around me, stepping backwards a few steps further into the room. I pulled my revolver out of it's holster and pulled the hammer back, unsure of what I had stepped into. A loud crunch underfoot caught my attention and I fell offbalance, landing on a sideways desk.
My flashlight rolled away from me so I hurried to grab it, quickly shining the light on the object in front of me. The purple-red fluid seeped out and slowly dripped through the floorboards, the body laying limp and broken in front of me. My eyes widened and I struggled to stand, but I knew there was no escape. The scuttering I had heard before became much louder now and I stood in place, frozen with fear. I slowly pressed the gun to my temple and took a deep breath.
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: It's been a couple months, so I'm gonna say... I'm starting fresh!

Kidnappable?: yes very i love people contacting me
Playing Habits: im on off and on but should be able to post often
Gender You Prefer Playing: Male
Favorite Genres: fantasy and anything doing wit the supernatural
Genre You DON'T Like: none that i dont like
Playing Style: passive
Plot Candies: swords, magi-science, vampires, reaccuring nemisies, skill and battle based
Character Stereotypes: spoiled born rich blade wielding arrogant semi-dick lol can use guns loves dual weilding and dueling martial arts r a plus very up close and personal fighter
Character No-Gos: none
Random Notes: just want to play
Scene Sample:
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: none at the moment very new here and to online rping and not too experianced at role-playing either

Kidnappable?: Yes, yes and please yes...
Playing Habits: I can get on everyday and sometimes if Im lucky more than just once. If Ill be away or if Im ill I will let other players know.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Male, Female, or Both. I dont mind
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Scifi, Modern, Magical, Horror, Romance, Yaoi, Furry, I do it all. No pun intendid.. well maybe.
Genre You DON'T Like: I dont like tons of rules. I cant remember them and cant rp with dice rolls. I hate that and get confused. I also dont like oneliner's that kills the moment. A wall is fine, I can match it. I hate being corrected and hate when a char goes whack O with the limits of the rp. I like an rp with no limits. Off the cuff fun. I hate a killjoy. And... AND.. NO SPIDERS!!
Playing Style: I tend to play somewhat Passive chars unless they are made very angry. I can do an aggressive peron but things have to be just right for that to work. Either way I try really hard to stick the char and give them all I have to make them real. When it comes to a GM type thing, I like to work as a team and throw ideas around. I think its more fun that way and more ideas help things move along.
Plot Candies: The things I really like are details, loop holes that trip up the story and make things juicy with scandal and heartbreak. Wild twist and turns that make a person think, what the hell? Romance rp's are best for this I think. I love action and fun. Cute mishaps and lots of over all fun. Im okay with Guns, pets, hot yaoi action, kidnapping, schoolwork, explosions, aliens, nightmares, food fights, smashing mail boxes, breaking hearts, pouring salt on snails or tapping thier eyes and watching them go down. I love snakes and cars, hot rods and even tractors. Sure whatever, bring it on.
Character Stereotypes: I like playing a kind person thats had a tough time in life, much like myself. I like to play someone that is trying to over come som part of life that just really sucks. Ive also played a friend to someone very rich and even been a maid. I like being someone that can learn and grow and enjoy the journey. Im not to good at playing some hardass char. Its more fun to be someone goofy and shy trying to figure things out. Cute but shy, male or female, these types are fun for me. They are so loveable that they find themselves in hot water by accident. Ive had one char that was a male hero a sample of him is below. He is new and never been used. I would like to use him but have yet to find the right rp, he is a furry.
Character No-Gos: I dont like being queen or some sort of ruler. Im not good at that. I dont like being really stupid or a pawn. Being a sub to the point of bondages is to scary.
Random Notes: just no bugs, no spiders, wasps, ants, bee's nothing creepy crawly, yuck. NO way.
Scene Sample: The night had long held a tight grip on my duties as a protector of the royal family. Never had they trusted another soul with the lives of their children and most importantly that of their only daughter, Alyana. Her grace and virtue were one in the same and as far as the royal court was concerned she was my only charge. Born into the line of service and duty I knew no other way of being. Since my childhood on playing at her side my protective nature blossomed and now here I am, some years later at her side still. My story is not so much as one of my own but one of her life with mine strung along in the details that never surfaced enough for reality to claim. Hilo, her companion, Hilo her protector, but never Hilo her chosen lover, or even her friend, I was I was never given that title out loud.

Goodness gracious, what happened? I filled one of these out a long time ago! Did you guys kill that thread? >( Anyway... I uh... noticed that I haven't submitted one of these in the last two years or so and thus I do not have one currently on file... Ooopsie.

Kidnappable?: Indeed, feel free to ask me.
Playing Habits: Every day, if all is running smoothly.
Gender You Prefer Playing: I don't care, I choose the one that seems in the minority usually.
Favorite Genres: Modern/Fantasy
Genre You DON'T Like: Mecha :P
Playing Style: Either, depends on what the story needs.
Plot Candies: Active players?
Character Stereotypes: Devoted girl; charming womanizer.
Character No-Gos: I'll try out just about anything, but so far I don't really like: man-eating women and shy men.
Random Notes: I will complain and threaten to start raping characters if my character is waiting on people to post for a very long time (aka weeks).
Scene Sample:
Tinde awoke to pain, not mild pain that might make her wince but the kind of pain that made her think that she was being ripped apart. There was a ringing in her ears, a soul-wrenching sound of feral misery and she wanted to make the noise stop, until she realized that the sound was welling up from deep within herself. Tears streaked her dirty face with uncanny veins of pale skin beneath the grime, her whole body felt as though it were betraying her to feel such pain. Low laughter came from her side and she fought against her restraints to lash out at the sound but it was no hope.

Without warning, the pain ceased and Tinde fell limply forward against her bindings. Rough hands passed over her body but she was too numb to make anything of it and instead lay still while tears poured down her cheeks. Her normally airy blond curls were plastered to her skin with sweat and filth, she wanted to question why she was here because she couldn't seem to remember anything, but there was no one to question. Unceremoniously, she felt herself being lifted, vaguely, as though her body and her mind were not attached.

Not more than a minute later, Tinde heard the creak of worn metal and the gentle rustling of breath. She was no longer alone, it seemed, with her tormentors. She knew, in a place at the back of her mind, that she wanted more than anything to attack the arms that held her aloft but her body screamed when she tried to do so little as lift her head to gaze around. Not that there was anything to look at, darkness pervaded her vision and isolated her from the man who was lifting her. This she took comfort in, that they weren't really touching, she was an island buffeted by the calloused skin.

A door opened and Tinde was tossed inside, landing on the stone floor and unable to move for the crushing pain of the impact. Weakly, she whimpered now, free of the grasp of fear and men.

Kidnappable?: DIrect contact in inquiry of roleplay involvment is more than welcome
Playing Habits:I check site one to two times daily without exception
Gender You Prefer Playing: Preferablly male, but well versed enought o comply with both genders in-character
Favorite Genres:Fantasy, Modern, and Horror
Genre You DON'T Like: Romance, drama, sci-fi
Playing Style: Definitively aggressive
Plot Candies: Good plot, and amazing architecture and scener.
Character Stereotypes: The mysterious and irrevocably dark tall man. the local vampiric legend, or king of the ancient castle. The Duke of Gaia towers is equally at home being the exiled prince, or dethroned monarch turned pilgrim. respectful, handsome, but never truly Evil.
Character No-Gos: Wimps, furries and over-the-top halfbreeeds ( I.E. half angel, half demon, and that sort)
Random Notes: I am a well versed roleplayer with more than 10 years experience online, and at tabletop RPG's.
Scene Sample: The night dawned like many others for Armand. the cool breeze made his hair stand on end, and his frazzled old nerves attached to his wistful young face betrayed his ancient age as he strode proud, and somber down the broken ruins of what was once a castle. He loved ireland at this tiem of year...foggy. peaceful. he looked up to the moon and smiled. " TOnight... I fancy a little song and dance with my wine." he chuckled, the shadows consuming him as he traveled to the nearest village. For what is eternity without pleasure?

Kidnappable?:Yeah, I'm fine with the invites, bring them on :)
Playing Habits: I'm on quite abit. But weekdays I'm in college, so I'll be on later during the afternoon.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Female mainly, but either gender is fine.
Favorite Genres: Modern, Romance, Horror and fantasy mainly.
Genre You DON'T Like: Sci-Fi, DNA, ect.. I'm not brilliant with those plot styles.
Playing Style: I think I'm more passive than aggressive. Yeah. Passive, most definately.
Plot Candies: Romance, Fight Scenes, Comedy, a bit of Gore isn't bad either, Mystery..
Character Stereotypes: Funny, Arrogant guy, shy sweet girl, creepy quiet guy, and bad boyfriend. I attempt to play the 'bad ass' girl in some role plays, but I either go over the top or I forget.
Character No-Gos: Attention seeking, brilliantly brainy, and characters that tend to be vain.
Random Notes: Hmm lets see.. well I have been role playing for about two years, I started on a small site, and I left with well over 40,000 posts. I write novels about my characters in the day to day lives, and add drama to stir it all up.
I'm not perfect with grammar or spelling, and I type quickly so typo's will be found every now and then that I don't see through proof reading.
Scene Sample: I will make you one if you give me the genre. I post differently for different genres and different characters you see...
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: On Iwaku? None. On other RPG's I have been in many though :)

Kidnappable?: Absolutely! just tell me what i could be getting myself into, I usually will agree.
Playing Habits: I am on as much as I can be, usually every day in the evening or early afternoon, depending on the day. On the weekends I go late into the night if I can afford to do so.
Gender You Prefer Playing: Female, starting to play male though. (note: I play all my males characters as homosexuals.)
Favorite Genres: Fantasy, Medival, Romance, Adventure, Comedy, etc, I'm not to picky.
Genre You DON'T Like: Horror. I just can't handle it, I'd scare myself!
Playing Style: I am passive aggressive. Sometimes I'd prefere my partner to control the story and at other times I'd like to do it myself, it all depends on what is happening in the RP at the time.
Plot Candies: Sweet sweet love! I adore when characters fall in love in my Rps. I also love when things go wrong in a funny way or when things turn to the unexpected and make you laugh.
Character Stereotypes: I like to play the heroin, the inoccent maiden, the dirty talking head strong girl or anything inbetween. My characters personalities can vary depending on plot and RP type.
Character No-Gos: Snobby girls, completely usless characters that really serve no purpose and characters that just are crude and rude. I feel that my characters are a reflection of myself so I try to avoid evil or majorly rude characters.
Random Notes: I'm new, openminded, friendly and absolutely excited to play with you guys. Hit me up any time you need someone to play.

Kidnappable?: Contact away! :)
Playing Habits: At least once a day if not more!
Gender You Prefer Playing: Female but if absolutely needed i could play a Male :)
Favorite Genres: (Fantasy, Scifi, Modern, Magical, and some Horror.. really I'm into anything :)
Genre You DON'T Like: super sexy stuff!
Playing Style: Right now, i'm really more of a passive player, although someday i hope to feel comfortable enough to be both
Plot Candies: I really enjoy having some type of constant action. Not really anything that I need to have, just needs to be forward moving (once it gets rolling of course!)
Character Stereotypes: I can play anywhere from sweet, to troubled. :)
Character No-Gos: Not really a character I could see myself not wanting to play at all.
Random Notes: I'm a little rusty on my RPing but I can't wait to start up again.
Iwaku Roleplays I'm In: none yet, hopefully soon! :)

Kidnappable?: I don't mind being contacted.

Playing Habits: More than I should be doing a day. Role play is my method of procrastination.

Gender You Prefer Playing: Female, though I can manage male.

Favorite Genres: Any but a few. (See below)

Genre You DON'T Like: "Plot? What plot?" Yaoi/Yuri, Strict Canon (I don't play main characters from things, but I'm fine with OC's in a universe).

Playing Style: Both. If I adore the plot, I'm pretty aggressive. If it's something I'm trying out but not familiar with, I'm certainly passive.

Plot Candies: Complexity and Originality, Tension (sexual and otherwise), Romance, Plot Twists.

Character Stereotypes: My most common characters are the ones you'd find lingering at school or work. Sometimes unassuming, sometimes get in your face obnoxious. I play the good girls well, and I can bring out the twisted little creepy girl, too. My males tend to be flamboyantly fabulous, or the brooding and silent types.

Character No-Gos: I really don't like playing characters who are cruel without purpose. If you're gonna kick a puppy, then have a good reason for kicking the puppy, and not just because you wanted to.

Random Notes: I can be a bit lengthy with my posts. I'm an emotional writer in that I look for ways for a person to connect with a character, and am very 'show, don't tell' when it comes to some things.

Scene Sample:

"I'm telling you, Sonnet. This is a bad place to be! Very bad!" The little Yilnorae clung tightly to the beads around Sonnet's neck, using the larger woman's hair as a shield and protection as she perched on her shoulder. Beside the human strode the sprite's companion, the shaggy black fur nearly on edge as the bond between the two was passed. Sonnet took care to note the agitated state of the canine; Soora did have a habit of becoming excited easily, but never in the months of travel had she seen Ronith as he was now. Frequently she was forced to steady herself as the beast pressed close, his muzzle seeking her hand and pressing his cool nose against her palm.

Amidst the stands and stalls, listening to both harper's music and joyful chatter, the odd behavior was easily overlooked. Clover-green eyes took in the sights with a rapt eagerness despite the tiny sprite's terrified warnings, ones that Sonnet would have ignored completely if it hadn't been for the wolf. As it was... "Soora, we're here to find Caelinth. That's all. The moment we find him, we'll be gone." Her brows furrowed for a moment as she paused, idly picking at her nails with the fingers of her other hand. "That is... if we can find him."

Soora whimpered, fluttering her filmy wings before speaking again. "You don't understand! The Wyrn aren't like us... they aren't like you or me, even though they hold both our blood in their own." She cowered against Sonnet's ear as a dark-skinned Wyrn passed close, his amber eyes reflecting the feral nature that he chose to hide at the moment. Even still, he shared a promising grin with a Wyrn girl nearby before the two disappeared into the swelling crowd. "Oh, please! Can't we go to the Hold until this has passed?"

* Sonnet, Soora, Ronith, and all other characters and races in this belong to me, and I *will* bite the hand that steals, thank you. I've had it happen before.
