Guide to Iwaku's Roleplay Prefixes To help Roleplayers find the right roleplays for them, we have a great Prefix system for organizing roleplay threads. In both our In Character and Out of Character sections, you'll see different sets of prefixes. This guide will explain what each of them means. ROLEPLAY IN CHARACTER SECTION Our IN CHARACTER sections include: Fantasy, Modern, Sci-Fi, Misc, and Mature. JUMP IN "Jump In" roleplays do not require you to fill out a character bio or be approved before you can play. As the name suggests, you can just "Jump In" and start playing immediately. Some Jump In roleplays will have an OOC where you can talk about the plot outside of the thread, but they do not require OOCs. SEE OOC "See OOC" means that the roleplay has an OOC thread and requires players to read the information. Most of these roleplays require bios or Game Master approval of characters before you can play. PRIVATE "Private" roleplays mean that the Game Master is no longer taking new characters. They may or may not have an OOC. ROLEPLAY OUT OF CHARACTER SECTION Our Out of Character section is named Roleplay OOCs. You will find all plots and applications in this area. The prefixes for this section are organized by Genre. FANTASY Fantasy and magical themes. MODFAN For Modern day settings with Fantasy themes. MODERN All Modern day settings. MODSCI For Modern day setting swith sci-fi themes. SCIFI All futuristic and space sci-fi themes. SCIFAN For sci-fi settings with fantasy themes.
