Klamath/Zoan
Junjuri Jungle
2:12 PM

"Zo you are dead boy." Klamath slured as stood, he was about 15 feet away from the boys body. It was obvious the boy was dead, blood pooled around his back, his leg was in an awkward angle. But he never trusted stuff like that without proof, he shut off all other senses, smell, taste, sight, touch, and focused it on hearing. He could hear breathing, but it was as if it was under the boy, he really was confused. Then it came to him, could it have been an illusion, could he had done this to ready another attack. Klamath was already prepared, already softening the ground under him just in case.

Unfortunately, Klamath had no more time to contemplate it. The boy had suddenly jump up, and grabbed both of Klamaths' wrists, rendering him unable to fight back. A shadow pointed at his heart. How? How? A commoner, a peasant, capable of such a feet, his leg destroyed, his spine almost revealed, this was impossible. Rage was etched into his face, utter disgust for such commoners, they were ugly, nasty, trash, they did not deserve to live. Klamath would crush every single one of them, even if it meant his life, he hated then, hated them, hated them, like ants they needed to be crushed under foot, like a toddler they needed to be though respect he would wipe them from the face of the earth.

Suddenly, everything came to a stand still, Klamath felt that everything was going slower then a mile a minute. It was the same for the boy, there perception of time had been slowed. They barely noticed the Headmaster walk right up to them, he was in slow motion also. His Mind Wielding was so powerful, so honed and skilled. He forced there bodies to separate, both there bodies backing away from each other awkwardly. They were not in control of their own body's, it was all Zoan's doing. "All students report back to the start please!" His voice was loux, extremely loud, it was heard throughout the jungle. "That is enough you two, I should had dealt with it myself." He said despondently to Klamath. "As for you, good job." hour said to the boy, "Klamath, carry him back it he cannot walk." "Yez Headmazter." Klamath slured angrily. Zoan simple nodded and walked away, he was going to end this know, and do it his own way.

Akio had a blade of shadow at his heart yet it went no where, rather it was like the world had slowed to a crawl in a way he didn't even know was possible. Some part of him recognized it as mind magic but he had never met a wielder able to do this before, especially with two powerful wielders with strong wills. The culprit son reveled himself however as Zoan walked into view. Akio himself could be considered an exceptional mind wielder but this was a different level of practice and skill. He knew the man could be here very well to kill him but he couldn't bring himself to even be afraid, he only wanted to witness a new form of power he never had seen before, and open up a new world of where he thought mind magic could go.

When his body was forced away from Klamath his thoughts broke however and he hissed in pain. When he had made his shield he had been far more worried about protecting his vitals so his shield had been slow to cover every limb and his leg had taken a hit from a rock before protecting itself. It was broken in 3 places and his back was a shredded mess of gravel. He had won the fight but he wasn't even worried about him anymore. He had found a new wall of power to rise up to. However his leg was giving problems, he had leapt forward on his good leg and had put all is force on it but stumbling back he had put some weight on his leg. He nearly fell over but shifted his center of balance so that he didn't fall. Zoan ordered him to be carried but that was one insult to his pride he wouldn't stand. His body was a wreck but he still had some power left. "Don't underestimate me so much headmaster." He said in a way that could be considered a bit cocky in his current condition but under that was a tone of respect, he respected Zoan's might.

Bringing his hand back and created what looked like a thing, floating barrier of darkness and sat on it gingerly. He dulled his senses with his own mind energy to lessen the blinding force of pain. Even as Zoan walked away he was floating a foot or two of the ground carrying his body, knowing he was probably being for more gentle then Klamath would be with his body. He looked at him now, if it wasn't for Zoan then he have had his heart pierced, they both knew that. He was the winner of the fight. Even without that fatal wound he had a deep cut on his shoulder and his stomach wound spilling blood on the forest floor. He was surprised he could walk. "I would get yourself treated unless you plan to die from blood loss." Was all he said to Klamath before floating off to go find someone. He found Amitis in short order, looking like he had be threw a war and held out of his hand. "I could use some of that soup now." He said simply as he looked at her, he was pleased she kept the food safe because now his huger was ravenous.

Amitis could hear Zoan's voice of course, just like the rest of the students would be able to. However, she didn't move, staying put where she was. She didn't feel it right to go anywhere, not after watching the fight and seeing the results. There was also the fact that she had noticed others watching and stalking. What if they tried to attack? There was no trusting anyone else. She was however a little surprised that the race seemed to have been interrupted and ended by a fight. Was it because of a teacher was involved. One thing she knew for sure anyway was that her former torturer was as much a recruit as she was and that Klamath seriously seemed to hate his guts. She guessed that was normal, and she was surprised at herself for not feeling the same. What she felt was awe and respect. Here was someone who knew much more than her.

"It's here," she said, turning to where she had safely stowed away the pot so that no rumblings and earthquakes could get at it. She took hold of the pot and brought it forward, setting it in on the ground between them. Even as she did she noticed the state of his body. She wasn't sure if it was her place to say, but she decided to say it anyway. "You're hurt. You need it taken care of." She could help in that at least, if help was sought. Otherwise, she would simply do as ask or observe. It was what the clan had taught her anyway. Even if she had failed and run away from them, the rules that they lived by were still instilled in her. She had been bested and as such, she was to serve and learn from the one who bested her... until she grew stronger anyway.

Veris had only begun to walk away when he heard the booming voice from behind him. It seemed to emanate directly from the fight that just took place. Is it the Earth/Lightning Wielder? The voice told them to proceed to the clearing where they began this mayhem. It was the headmaster's voice, unmistakably, so Veris threw the first thought out. Wait a second, Veris thought. Why is the headmaster, of all people, intervening? The darkness wielder provoked the teacher... but why was he out here in the first place? Not only that, they were being recalled less than an hour after the supposedly 48-hour event began. Something fishy is going on here, Veris knew.

After some time of walking, he came across the clearing where he knew the woman and the darkness-wielder fought. Behind this was the trail so nicely carved out by the woman who nearly killed him. Well, at least I know where I'm going now, Veris thought, and stayed low in the bushes alongside this trail, like he did before. He didn't want to be the first at the beginning - that would draw attention to himself. He decided to move somewhat slower, to give others a chance to arrive first, and hopefully get a better look at some of the students. When he had the clearing they started in in sight, Veris stopped, climbing to a high branch camouflaged by the foliage around him. It would be difficult for anyone without above-average observation skills to see Veris - which he knew meant the teachers, of course. He was only hiding from students, to observe.

Today was the first day of the semester which meant the first years were taking their initiation test. Mat remembered this test, he barely made it through. He certainly was not a powerful wielder, especially since he chose not to use his Void element to its fullest. Only a few people knew he was void from watching spars and word of mouth, though every teacher knew. It was all a simple trick, really, by using the Mind element he was able to make his Emblem seem less like a void emblem and more like a water emblem. His mind element was weak, natural of a void wielder, but it was a trick so simple that only people looking for it would notice the illusion. Other mind wielders might not even be effected which was the entire reason there were people that did know he was void. It was a small secret, and not a very well kept one, but as long as he kept his illusion up and only used the water element, he'd have a tactical advantage by surprising any opponents with the sudden use of a different element.

Mat had taken a peak at this years first year students and noticed many diverse elements and with such a density of people it was also hard to tell who was powerful enough to make it alive. Still, the initiation had been in play for quite a while before Mat, even from outside the jungle, could hear the headmasters booming voice. Everyone heading back to the start? That was an interesting occurrence, what must have happened to cause this? Having never witnessed this happen himself, he could come to no conclusion and chose not to think too much on it. Time would tell the best stories, and for now he'd wait. Not much sense in stressing himself over something he wasn't even involved in. To be on the safe side, Mat grabbed his blades, first the left, then the right, and snapped them down, ready to be released.

Some people had considered his weapon to be a stealth weapon, but this could not be more wrong. The blade was both long, wide, and thick. Hiding such a weapon would be difficult, let alone hiding anywhere and releasing it in secret, with the amount of pressure on the blades release it was quite a noisy release. No, this was no stealth weapon, but it was a perfect fit for how Mat chose to fight. Because of how it sat on his wrist it had good leverage to block any physical blows with a backhand, and wielding two of them meant it was easy to create an opening. He loved his weapons, and he maintained them well, they worked just as good today as they did when they were made. The downside was its weight...Granted it was light for its size due to the metal it was made of, but it was still a rather large blade made with a metal that certainly was not the lightest in the world. The standard steel cutlass was lighter, though not as good at piercing chainmail.

For now Mat would wait for the first years to come out of the jungle, maybe if he stayed in earshot he'd get some information as to what happened.

Aurellia
Jungle-Starting Area
Mood-Enigmatic

Aurellia stopped at hearing the booming voice and half snarled before reeling herself back in froma spiraling mindset after that satisfying kill. She turned just as the man she was curently fighting swung. She noticed it and stepped out before spinning the blades she had around and slicing one of his arms off. The man let out a howl as Aurellia began to laugh "It looks beautiful.. a peice of art! Let me decorate nature more!" She said in a whacked out way before driving the sword into his chest and then kicking him back. The man fell down onto the ground but she hesitated on continuing. She felt the pull of somthing and shook her head as the sanity she yearned for snapped back. She cursed before turning and running.

After a short time she burst out into the starting area and gazed around. Her blades still coated in a beautiful splatter of blood that seemed to glisten ever so slightly in whatever form of light was out there at the time. She just held them up and watched it before leaning down and wiping them off in the grass not caring if the other first years like herself were watching. She had killed and it brought her back to a time before she had these swords. But, whatever was going on made her mind spiral. She loved it all and it drove her crazy. It was almost like a rage... but it wasn't a rage. She could hear voices and she loved it. Most people would think that would be a form of insanity but, sanity to her... was for the weak.

Finally she stood up and holstered Twin Eyes on their back holsters before sprinting over to where the others seemed to be conglomerating a short distance away. She wasn't to bubbly but when she was in a good mindset she wanted to know what was going on. But, when she was upset or her mind was slipping once more it was best to avoid here at all costs. It was unknown as to what she would do and when she would do anything. Her personality was like lightning... it was random and it never strikes the same move twice.

[Mood: Confused]
[Interaction: Galen]
Angel stopped as Galen did, straining her ears to see what he meant. There was,for sure, a rumbling deep in the earth. She opened her mouth to agree with him when a static filled the air. She whipped around to see the Headmaster approaching them. He was a mild weilder, but she could automatically tell from the lack of heartbeat and breath that it was just in her head.

What? Return to the start? Odd. As soon as the image flickered out like a dying flame, she took off. She didnt wait to see if Galen would follow. She knew he would. They had to get back to the start. What if it was a test? What if it ended where it began? They needed to be one of the first few there.

Galen Morket, "Spirit of Darkness"
Galen also saw the image of the Headmaster come towards them and proclaim the end of the test. Was this about the fight that had happened near here? A darkness wielder and an earth wielder? What could be so special about that match that the Headmaster had to call a stop?

Instead of dwelling on it, Galen sprinted after Angel, using the shadows of the forest to help him catch up to her and stay by her side instead of in front of her like he had before. However the prolonged use of his powers was beginning to tire him out, since he had never used them on such a scale for so long a time. In fact, until he knew he was coming here, he had tried not to use them at all. After all, in his experience, all they resulted in was death or deciet, and he wanted neither.

He took the stew with some eagerness though his face remained composed. He was a bit surprised even threw all that she had managed to keep the food in a ready to eat condition. She mentioned his wounds and he could only shrug, which hurt. "I don't know how to take care of wounds very well other then stopping the bleeding and setting the bone. My leg isnt bleeding though i'll need to set the bone since its broken in 3 places and the gravel and dirt did better job than i could ever do at sealing the wound on my back." He spoke the truth, while his leg was bent awkwardly in more than one places and the skin was a mix of small scratches and many, many bruises it wasent so bad that something needed to be sealed. His back was shredded but while it had been protected from the greatest damage of rock it had been plastered by dirt and crushed rock which seemed to be imbedded in his back and soaked up the blood and prevented it from spilling on the ground. "If you have a better idea ill welcome it however. But whatever we do we must do quickly since we have to go back." He pointed out.

He took his stew and started eating, using magic made him extremely hungry especially after not eating this morning. Magic used energy whether it was the energy of the world or his body. Mind especially took a lot of mental power and personal energy and he was always hungry after using his powers seriously. Never the less he contemplated the abilities he saw earlier. That man Zoan was no joke, he had never felt anyone with power of their mind like that. That other teacher was strong too, but no where near on that level. His outright magical power is not when made Zoan a threat like that person he had felt long ago but his pure mastery over his single skill. Just from such a short time in his presence he already realized how he could use his mind powers in ways he never thought of. He finished his soup and looked at Aimtis. "I didn't ask this question earlier but why do you feel so concerned about my well being." He said looking at her.

@Greenie

"I know a little," Amitis replied. It was mostly what she learned from her mother however, so it was old knowledge, but she was confident enough as she would often have to take care of her own wounds and broken bones while training with the clan. She looked over Akio, the usual emotionless look on her face, taking in the sight of his back as well as his leg. She decided that it might take more time than needed however, especially while setting bones while the patient was eating was obviously a bad idea. She shook her head and leaned back against a tree. "It will be better to leave it as is otherwise we'll be late."

She was a little surprised when she heard his question. She would have thought he'd already known. Obviously she had been wrong. She rubbed her shoulder for a moment, recalling the illusion dagger that had been stabbed there not too long ago. "I was bested and my life was spared," she finally said in a simple tone. "So it's only right that I follow you and do as you bid. You are, in simpler words, my master. I shall do as you ask. If you don't wish for such allegiance then I will find my own way. However, until you say so, I will stay, learn, and serve." It would make sense to her if he rejected her service. She was a failure, unfledged, and was clearly weaker than she had thought. More than anything, at this moment in time, she wanted to learn. She yearned to become stronger, to prove she could be more than she was.

@Greenrust

Before the dust had even faded, Sylver already flashed into a tree beside the crater. By lowering the gravity to a bare minimum the speed she reached was almost unmatchable. She thought they could live, but she forgotten to take account of the battle they were just in. Sure enough in those dust colds and blinding lights, soemthing that she couldn't see went on. Curiously will kill, but she was confident. Not one would attack her after a battle like that, even if they would she could fend off those attacks since they were weakened a lot.

She placed a gravitational core into the tree she was standing on, and the tree started to gravitate some of the dust towards it, giving out a clearer view. They were defiantly not alright. Not dead, but not alive either. It was hard to tell, with all the dust, blood and bits of stones littered the ground. Then the air froze, it was quite like a airtight bubble that Sylver has created before, but this felt more to the soul. It was not only her mind feeling it, but also deep down, the sensation lingered. The headmaster appeared, and ordered the race to a stop.

She expected this. Somehow, she felt that the situation with a teacher fighting a student is way too serious to be excused just like that. She still wanted to know why did it happen, and what did that student do. So she was there, likely in danger, but satisfied that she did it. Still, in case of something actually happening, she could always just flash back to safety.

With the thought in mind, she hopped down the tree. Her hair was levitating a bit due to the low gravity around her. After clearing out the dust with a few blows of wind. She can see the student who was fighting. He was hurt, like, very very hurt. Judging by the pool of blood that is. A young lady was there also, she had a really odd hairstyle, it was half white and half black. Sylver wondered if it was natural or not. Half hopping and half hovering to the two, Sylver was curious, how did he get into that fight, what had he done, and most importantly, how powerful he was.

Sylver smiled as she thought about the thing she could learn from him, and maybe the girl also. "Geez, what happened...?" She asked the girl with the half white half black hair as she dropped from the hights. It would been better to ask the young man himself, but annoying someone who is badly injured didn't sound like something that nice.

@Greenie

He looked at her and considered what she said. He couldn't train her ability itself since they didn't share a wielding ability but there was a lot more you could learn from someone even if they didn't share a type. He was used to traveling alone since leaving the empire and that made him hesitant to try and bring anyone with him, especially someone who may slow him down. But at the same time he found himself thinking he could use the company and having someone to help with some of the more mundane tasks could help him. He had a following before back in the empire, a gang who respected his strength if nothing else. Was she like that as well? Somehow he thought not, he had already said she could go so it must be another reason. He simply looked at her for awhile before reaching over for the pot and pouring himself a bit more stew. "If you want me to teach you then you must obey my orders to the letter. I won't teach someone who wont follow on my orders." He said simply taking a bite of his foot and finishing up his second serving. He was about ready to suggest they leave another student appeared asking what had happened.

He looked at her, only turning his head as not to aggravate his spine. For someone who was badly injured he seemed rather relaxed and didn't even seem to be feeling the pain from his wounds. She was talking mostly to his new student ((a bit strange to consider it that way)) but he answered first. "You would think that asking the combatant might be easiest way to get the story." He seemed amused more than anything else and he turned the darkness platform to look at her. At this point he didn't care for hiding his powers, he was still partly on a battle high and anyone who had been watching for even a moment would be able to tell he was a darkness wielder.

"I was precipitating by this races rules, however it seemed the higher ups weren't happy with the fact i was killing nobles." He had his blade again at his side, he had picked it up before leaving the area. The blade was important to him and had sentimental value. It was also the only thing he took from the empire when he left that he still owned. "They sent that teacher Klamath. I won the battle though Zoan saved his life. Though i don't know why he is calling us back." He said eyebrows narrowing as he thought about it, was he planning to kill him in public as an example.. He found himself wondering if he should actually go at all, though not that he had much of a choice, in this condition he couldn't escape. They would simply drag him back and do it anyway. "Were getting ready to go back." He said slowly as if deciding something. "You should go back as well, come with us if you wish." He said simply as he got ready to go now.

Mateus Steadman
As students poured out of the forest, Mat was unable to gather much information. He was older than probably all of the first year students which likely made him give off a more unapproachable feel than he had intended. Perhaps it would be best if he initiated the conversation. The first student to catch his eye was one who seemed to be a young girl with purple hair, definitely younger than he. Her weapons of choice were blades identical in shape, he was able to get a good look as she wiped off the blood in the grass. She was in a fight, maybe she even had something to do with the cancellation.

Adjusting his glasses to make sure he could see clearly, he approached her. "Well, you wouldn't happen to know what happened that called this out early, would you?" He questioned her. Almost instantly he used his mind magic so that if she were to look at his emblem she'd see a water emblem. Should anything transpire and she thought he was a water wielder he'd have a slight edge over her. "I'm just asking because I saw the blood yet no visible injury on you, so I'll just assume whatever happened, you won." His blades may have been ready to be released, but as of right now, he didn't plan on releasing them at all, attacking him here would be unwise. Then again, maybe he was giving her too much credit. Still, he was at ease.

Crystal Blanchette

Crystal returned Meg's scowl as she went back down to the forest floor "Bear with it if you want to survive. It's a sleeping gas released within 500 meters. It's not much but it will help you to get started."
she stated and began to walk away from the group.

"If I stay with them, there's a huge risk that I'll be dead" she mumbled to herself and jumped back up to the trees, feeling a strong presence around the area.

"Shit." Crystal muttered under her breath as she heard the booming voice. She was barely enjoying herself when the race was stopped abruptly. Sighing to herself, she came back down the trees and focused all her wind on her feet, shooting past the trees and students as fast as she can and finally became one of the first few to arrive.

She was starting to get bored about everything. All the killing, fighting. It was just too much for her. She was about to walk to a bench when a boy and a girl caught her eyes. Walking towards them she cannot help but watch the boy with curious eyes "I assume you're not a first year?"
she asked, her voice filled with awe and amazement.

Crystal always holds a great respect towards the seniors of the academy, especially those who learned and survived the harsh teachings of the school.

She then looked at the girl with purple hair and blood "Can you tell me what happened inside? I barely got any information before we were ordered to go back"
she stated, waiting for the girl's explanation.

Before the girl he approached had time to respond another person had come to confront the two. She picked up that his age meant this was not his first year, which made him smile. This one had darker hair, skin just as pale, and brilliantly blue eyes. "Yeah, this will be my last year here." He responded. "My name is Mat, short for Mateus." She seemed friendly enough, at least to him.

It seemed she wanted information as well so he tried not to make conversation too deep since the two wanted the same thing. For now everything seemed peaceful enough, so he reached first for his left and pulled it back. A click could be heard as the blade caught onto its catch, and soon after a second could be heard as he pulled the second blade back as well. Now there was no way they would release unless he did it manually.

Sylver can clearly see how much pride the young man in front of her have. She knows many people, commoners, weilders, and people with many different backgrounds who has this sort of pride. This dark, heavy and suffocating sense of pride. She didn't like it, maybe it was because of her young age, but Sylver had never really had that of a strong sense of this pride and dignity herself. She preferred to be free, without a burden that one gives themselves.

"You're sure sadistic. Also reckless." Sylver smiled. "But your strong."

"Good job on that, noble or not, anyone is weak. Although being nobles will never make you any stronger."

Sylver heard the story, it seemed odd. The higher ups are obviously biased towards noble family. This made her wonder how would life at the academy go.

"And also, throwing your life away isn't strong." She said quietly as she hopped onto a tree and left the scene.

Aurellia

Aurellia looked around as she heard someone speaking to her. No! Not only one person but two people speaking to her. She looked around as she began to grin rather.. disturbingly. She forced the thoughts down and took a deep breath. She closed her eyes and concentrated on calming thoughts and eventually as one of them reached her she had calmed herself enough to act the part. She then let the two talk even as she heard questions come her way. She felt like laughing for some reason and purposefuly kept her mouth shut to keep that exact thing from happening.

Finally, when she gathered herself enough to speak she managed a regular smile "Oh, Uhm.. yeah.. I killed two people." She stated blatantly as if it was nothing and just a passing thought. She shrugged "They came at me to I decorated the forest with the beautiful patterns of their blood landing on the ground. Did you know that blood spatter is never alike." She suddenly blurted out at the end. She shook her head realizing that is not how she was to act around others. She was taught better by her adopted family and she owed them to much to start regressing to how she was. Come to think of it... it all start when she..

She reached her hands up and gripped the hilts of her blades and she shook her head. It couldn't be the blades... they were just beautiful peices of artwork that made her lightning elemental affinity stronger. "Oh, I am a first year and uhm... I don't know what happened inside. I just came across two people who attacked me and like I said, I killed them so it could have somthing to do with it being called... I didn't know killing was illegal." She said innocently. Her eyes darted about as if studying their features. The boy seemed to be a water user but he seemed off. Somthing screamed to her but she couldn't put a finger on it. It also all seemed distorted.

As if everything around her was abit whacky.. unorganized but it was beautiful in her eyes. The stupidity of it all rang true to her and she basked in it messy brilliance. She finally snapped back into her senses and began to laugh before covering her mouth. "Im sorry.. Im abit... Well you call me insane but my answer to that is that sanity is for those that are to weak to grasp the reality of all of our situations.. We all have to be alittle crazy to forge our own paths.. Don't we." She said rather philosphicly. She then turned to them both "My name is Aurellia.. My real last name is.. well.. I don't know to be honest. I have been an orphan as long as I can remember... I never kenw my mother or father. So, it is nice to meet you Mat" She said and extended her hand.

If he were to take it he could feel somthing odd and off about her. As if things were not always together with the girl. Her eyes spoke of her true nature and she was far from completely intact in her mind. She fit her elemental lightning like a bark to a tree. It was random but instead of the expected shock.. there was nothing but a tingling sensation. Like somthing was lost in translation. A enigmatic feeling of uncertainty and sheer question.

Well this is just bloody brilliant, Meg thought, feeling a little pissed off that as soon as the group had been made it dispersed. Well then, I'll just be going then. She pulled up her the hood of her tunic and started walking off on her own, easily making paths with her earth wielding ability. She really didn't think it would be too difficult for her to reach the end of the race, maybe it was best on her own. She paused however when she heard Zoan's voice.

"Are you messing with me?" She groaned before shaking her head. Why were they all gathering at the start once more? What about reaching then end and killing even if you had to? She let out a sigh before she turned round and started backtracking until she reached the edge of the jungle, where once again she raised a barrier of earth and changed into the uniform. She then headed back, joining up with the rest of the students, looking none the different.

.....

Amitis was about to reply to Akio when the white haired girl dropped down. Immediately she tensed, a needle in her hand. This was one of the students she had realized was watching the fight between Akio and Klamath. She didn't really like people who spied on others... mostly because that was what she did. It came with the trade. She remained quiet as her new teacher spoke with her; it wasn't her place to speak anyway, unless this girl was going to attack him. Then she'd speak in other ways.

The words the girl said as she was leaving irked Amitis. Throwing your life away isn't strong. For a second a frown came on her face, the emotionless shell cracking before the seemed were rejoined once more. Obviously the girl was young and knew nothing... Not wanting to dwell to long on that, Amitis watched her leave before turning to Akio and bowing her head slightly. "I promise I will obey your orders." A late reply, but better late then never. She hid her needle away before looking toward the direction where the other students were surely heading. "I'm ready to go."

Zoan
Rohad Academy Field, Ladria
9:00 AM

th

Zoan sat upon a comfortable seat on the marble balcony of Rohad Academy, over looking the field. He had called all the students who had attended the Junjuri Jungle test hear. Zoan rubbed his forehead, that test was not his favorite, for the past 3 years he had been using that very method. With the possibility of war, King Graven ordered Zoan to give this test to the new recruits. From the very beginning, Zoan hated the test, students died every year due to the stupidity of others. This time, Zoan chose to put an end to it all, this time, he would do it his own way, and this way was much more fun.

On the field were about 76 students, they all stood upon an open, grass field, that went on for acres. All these students had a week of rest, all being transported to Rohad after the test, and treated to the best foods, tandoori chicken, blueberry Oatmeal, all in an attempt to make up for the Jungle incident. They all slept in the high class rooms, the walls were a beautiful mahogany, full bathrooms built in, feather soft, queen sized beds, all the royalties. Zoan did not care if the nobles were outraged, he knew that the commoners were bullied by the older students because they were pampered.

"Klamath, is everything ready." Zoan said as he readied himself to stand. "Yez." Klamath replied, bowing. Klamath was Zoan's right hand man, Klamath had spent the week bullied and embarrassing the commoners, especially the Dark Wielder he had fought in the Jungle. Zoan knew that there was nothing he could do, he could not force his subordinate to obey him, he could only guide him in the right direction. "Good." He smiled as he stood up. All who were in the field looked up at Zoan, silenced by the aura he released, it was not a hostile one, it was a calm and loving one, as if a mother was embracing them.

"Well, I hope you enjoyed your refreshing stay at Rohad. This is the test that will determine if you will enter the school." He whispered, although his voice actually boomed, heard throughout the campus. "The Jungle test was a failure on my part, and I apologize, you all should be able to test on equal and fair terms, without the possibility of losing your life. So, this is a test that all fourth years, fifth, and graduates did. A simple game of Capture the Flag." A choirs of murmurs could be heard from the crowed. "I'll allow Master Granta to explain in one hour." The old man said, ignoring the murmurs. Zoan nodded to Klamath and walked out the balcony, with Klamath in tow.

Master Granta
Rohad Academy Field, Ladria
10:00 AM

Most of the students had dispersed during the hour of freedom that they were given. Granta was a tall and fit man, his muscular physique was obvious under his tight black tunic, he had chocolate brown skin, and short black hair. Despite his powerful look, the young man still looked as if he was tired. Granta really was wide awake, his droopy eyelids were just him. On the inside Granta was very excited, for the past few years, he has been miserable, he yearned for this event to return, but the the King made Zoan incorporate the Jungle test.

"Alright, I will now explain the rules of the game. No weapons, only wielding, you are not allowed to kill or maim your opponents, only do what is necessary to win, but use comments sense. There are 5 people to a team, 6 if you count the Captain. Captains will choose students from a roster, then we will begin. The court is divided by in half, each side for one team, once you touch the line that divides the sides, you are on what's called enemy territory. You can create and build any obstacles you want on your side. Flags are surrounded by another white line, about 6 feet around, if you touch this line, you can no longer wield, unless you are outside the box. If you take the enemy flag, you can no longer wield, unless you drop the flag, there will be 3 rounds, rounds are dictated by the amount of times you get the enemy flag to your own flags circle." Granta explained. "That's about it, captains are.... Akio, Sylver, Genins, and Lesd. Captains, choose 5 more people, make a team name, and report to me, the then I will assign you to your opponents." Granta grunted, it was a long explanation, and it actually tired him. Granta took a seat and waited for the students to do there own thing.
