Angel snickered and readied her now two long swords, which resembled katanas more than anything. This was her favorite weapon out of the three. It had mobility and percision. It was deadly.

She tensed her body when something orb shaped fell from the trees. It hit the ground and exploded with a pourous sound, leaking a sickly green gas. Why couldnt these nosy students stick to their own fights? She growled and lifted her left hand. This would surely drain a lot of her energy, but she didnt have time for this.

She locked the little egg into a pocket of space. It sucked the air from the little thing, and prevented it from going any further. Angel looked into the trees and caught a glimpse of the cuplit.
"Here. Have it back."
She growled and lifted the pocket up until it was level with the tree canopy, and squeezed her hand into a fist. The pocket exploded, and the gas spread out up into the layer of thick greenery. There. That should take care of any lurkers in the trees.

Turning her attention back to the boy, she offered him a sour smile and took a half bow.
"My name is Angel Gregarious. I am going to be killing you now."
Her image seemed to flicker, and she was gone. This boy could use the shadows, which made him dangerous. Shadows couldnt be bent by gravity, but the mind could certainly be swayed.

Angel focused on getting the boy to see her moving quickly than she actually was. This was supposed to confuse him, and she needed him confused. It would make him less able to use his shadow manipulation. She turned in midair and shifted the gravity around her so he didnt hear her touch the ground behind him.

She raised her swords and used the air around her in the shift to propel forward, katanas pointed at his heart.

Galen Morket, "Spirit of Darkness"
Galen's eyes could clearly see the girl, Angel - and wasn't that name ironic - moving towards him, ready to attack, and yet... His shadows told him differently. Despite her landing making no noise, he knew the moment she did due to the fact that her shadow was in fact, his shadow.

He couldn't stop the smirk from curling up his lips as the fury of battle ignited in his blood. It was his one true release, the reason he fought even when there was no need for it. Spinning around, he let his own two blades crash into hers, only he made sure that the edges of her blades came down on the flats of his, making sure that they slid off without harming him or his blades.

The resulting screech of metal upon metal surely would attract attention from the others in the forest, he thought as he used the shadows to dart away from Angel in order to give him time to think. Despite her own intentions, Galen had no intentions of killing the young woman. She had potential, her powers were great and her mind sharp. In fact... He grinned as an idea struck him.

"Say, Miss Gregarious, you have potential. I'm sure that together, we could bring this world to its knees. What do you say?"

Meg tried not to roll her eyes at Juke's reaction when he realized there was someone above in the trees, but she couldn't keep an amused smirk off her face. Was this person really a wielder? Would he be able to survive in a jungle without being taken for a fool by others? Hmm...

"Well that's lucky, because neither am I," she replied quietly, judging for the moment that he was telling the truth. If not, well, a sink hole wasn't anything hard for her to make. "It's good that you think that, cuz honestly, I'm not about to try and kill anyone." That was for the person above as well, as Meg figured from Juke's reaction, she would already know that Meg knew of her.

She was just about to answer his offer to show off- well it seemed like it!- when the girl from the tree seemed to almost hover down in the duo's midst, subsequently making it into a trio. Meg stared at her a moment, unsure what she was wielding. Immediately she was on her guard, her hand on the slingshot at her waist. Even as she listened to what the girl, or rather Sylver had to say, she was looking her over as she had with Juke. She seemed rather young, probably in her early teens. Meg sighed inwardly. She wasn't really a mean person, she could hardly deny the girl help... they were really on the same side, right? And if she tried anything fishy, Meg would make sure she learned something of a lesson.

"Well," she finally said, looking at the two. "If we're gonna be hanging out together, I think the first thing we should do is get away from all these people bent on killing others and head for somewhere safe. We can plan what we wanna do after that, whatcha say?" She raised her eyebrows, looking at the two.

It seemed that Juke's meager attempts to keep his intentions hidden didn't blow over so well: the white-haired spy dropped down from the tree and introduced herself as Sylver. Juke spotted two different emblems set into her gloves; she was a dual-wielder. Interesting! The thought that she might be a threat didn't occur to Juke. He'd decided that it was best to give everyone a chance to prove their alignment before settling on a bad impression or even lashing out. "Nice to meet you!" Juke said jovially to the girl. He had to admit, she was kinda cute in a cuddly teddy bear sort of way, and he could already hear the metallic clanging noises of some kind of swordfight off in the distance. All the more reason to team up with someone sooner rather than later.

"Yeah, that sounds great," Juke said with a nod in Meg's direction. "Here, let me make this jungle a little more fun!" With that, he tugged off both his wielding gloves and tucked them halfway into his pockets, then removed his denim jacket and draped it loosely over his good shoulder. His fiddle-forearm was now on full display for the others. Grinning, he flicked open the latch on the palm of his longer glove and retrieved his bow from the long, thin pocket sewn in. "Someone start clapping!" He adjusted his wooden elbow to sit at a right angle and launched right into a jaunty tune, tapping his foot along with the beat.

Veris had never imagined that these students would be so strong.

Not long after Veris had continued on from that tree, he was nearly decapitated. As he moved swiftly through the bushes, making sure to stay low, he heard a woosh sound come from behind him. Veris ducked just in time to avoid the blade passing over his head and clearing the foliage away. After letting out his breath after a few seconds, he got back up shakily, looking at the ground where the character passed him. Patches of grass spaced apart were now blackened and burned, as if her every step was death-filled. Veris let out a shudder, making a mental note not to mess with whoever that was, but continued on, making sure to keep the path in his sight. Now that there was a path cleared through that jungle, some other students may have the mind to follow that path, so Veris kept watch to monitor that.

Then he heard the explosions. They were faint, obviously fairly far behind him, but he wondered what could make that. He imagined a fire wielder - he had seen such a spectacle by a performing fire wielder in a tropical city he had visited once. Veris knew there was likely a conflict going on, and knew to stay away from unnecessary conflicts. While he could possibly create allies with the victor, he would more likely be burnt to a crisp - or worse. He picked up the pace, bending a little water into his mouth to stay hydrated. The last thing he wanted to do was pass out.

He didn't come far before he noticed a girl standing still, suspiciously in the path carved by the one who nearly killed Veris. He assumed this girl was the one who carved that path, and Veris made a larger attempt to be stealthy. Staying low, he continued onward, moving slowly and quietly, before another figure appeared in the clearing the girl was in. He seemed to appear from nowhere, as if... he appeared from the shadows. I see, Veris thought, He's a darkness wielder. He had heard of these - they were definitely rare, but he wasn't entirely surprised one was here. He was clothed in all black - fitting, Veris supposed. He slowly backed away from the fight, moving to the right, so he could continue towards the exit. As he was doing this, the two began to fight, and Veris was glad to not have stuck around. Not long after, once the clearing was out of sight, he continued in the direction he had begun before. When he was certain that no one was near him, he decided to take a break. Luckily, a small bush with some berries was nearby, so Veris grabbed a couple and chewed them. I certainly hope these aren't poisonous, he thought afterwards, chuckling. How funny it would be to die right here to poison, rather than a fight with a wielder. Veris continued to rest, drinking a little water as well.

To her relief, the two that was underneath the tree seemed friendly. Especially that Juke guy. He was introducing himself as if they met on a market, in a bright and cheerful way. Sylver didn't have that much of a problem with it, she could accept most types of people along as they're not too extreme. She imagined that certain other people would get annoyed by this guy though, perhaps dark wielders, or more of the serious type. The girl named Meg, on the other hand seemed more aware of her surroundings. She as in a defensive position with her hand on something that seems like a weapon. Although she didn't attack, she seems to be the peaceful type who won't pick fights.

Clang!

Unlike certain people...Sylver thought as the sound of metal clashing together ranged though out the forest. Looks like there are some Miss and Mister anger issues out there. It was probably the best idea to leave this place where there are quite a few aggressive wielders roaming around, and find somewhere safe. Or better, get out of this jungle. Meg seems to have the same thought.

"If we're gonna be hanging out together, I think the first thing we should do is get away from all these people bent on killing others and head for somewhere safe. We can plan what we wanna do after that, whatcha say?"

It seemed like the only reasonable thing to do currently. Leaving for somewhere safe, then progressing. Although Juke seems to think in a somewhat different way. He took off his jacket, and exposed that odd looking arm. It was obvious that the arm wasn't there anymore, instead it was replaced with some sort of a string instrument. Sylver never knew much about instruments, since her home town didn't have many of those. After that he pulled out a bow, maybe it was part of the instrument, Sylver assumed. A tune came out. Just like about instruments, Sylver didn't know much about music either, but she enjoyed it. It wasn't bad in any sort of way. OK, maybe expect when you're in a jungle trying to hide from enemies. That didn't matter to Sylver though, her gravity and wind duel force field was still strong around her. If she wanted to, she could launch herself back into the treetops in a flash. She didn't know how Meg thinks though. Everyone seems so uptight about the race, but in the end is it even a race?

A little smile cracked on Sylver's face, as the music and clanging of weapons echoed though out the forest. She gave out a little applause, but there are other thing to be done now.

"So, 48 hours, we only have about 47 left now."

Angel kept her blades upward, her body tense and coiled, ready to spring. She narrowed her eyes. Team up with this fool? She was better than him. She could bring him to his knees with both of her elements if she desired, there was no need to team up with such a thing. On the other hand, however, it was a better option. They could mow down these students faster than a single person, and their elements could create mass destruction. Maybe having this kid as an ally would benefit rather than allow for a disadvantage.

She lowered her blades, but her grip never loosened. Angel watched him with her pale eyes, turning her chin upward. She brushed her long hair from her face, which was now trying to stick to her neck and cheeks from the humidity. They were a likely pair, and anyone who dared challange them both would surely defeat them with ease.

"Teaming up requires trust. I will put my faith unto you, however my trust will be allowed only at a later date when I believe it is right to do so."
She slammed the hilts of her sword together, the metal clanging and fusing to eachother. Instead of staying as a broadsword, the blade folded and clicked until it became a dagger the side of her forearm, which she put into the hilt at her waist.

"We have wasted enough time. In order to be the first ones, we must go. Try and keep up, Yes?"
Angel didnt bother with his name. It wasnt important at this time. The only thing important was getting past that finish line as the first ones. Only then will their names be remembered, and feared, through the school.

Angel adjusted the gravity around her body as she took off, bending the trees and branches so they didnt dirty her clothing. She hardly bothered to check if the Darkness Boy was following.

Lao
Junjuri Jungle
12:54 PM

Lao finally stopped flinging balls of blue fire when he assumed that the student below had enough. It looked like the student hadn't put up much of a fight, which slightly sadden and excited Lao. He really did not want to fight them, he would have much rather stomp them to the ground when they were not ready than fight them. Lao assumed that made him look like a coward but what did he care, no one was going to question a second stage fire wielder. "Hope I didn't hurt them to bad, I want to hurt them not murder them." he mumbled to himself as he scratched the back of his head. They were nobles, he could tell by the emblems on their backs. Lao had a hatred for them, he himself knew that is hatred was biased, but he could not help but bunch them all together when he saw them.

Lao made a move to jump of the tree but a something smashed into his rib cage. Lao was thrown onto the tree, his breath was forced out of his lungs, he felt light headed for a few seconds before falling onto the forest floor below. He struggled to gain control of his body for a few more seconds before getting to his feet, he glanced at the unconscious bodies of the nobles, they could not have attacked him, the direction of the attack was all wrong. Lao raked his hands through his hair and frustration was etched into his face. How could he have allowed someone to get behind him, and attack him like that? "Power, if I had that, more of it, that would have never happened." He mumbled to himself despondently.

Lao noticed the clanging of swords, he could also here rustling in the bushes. Lao decided that the immediate threat was in the bushes. He stood in his spot for a few more minutes, hoping to get another sound from whoever was in the bushes. He barely noticed that the clashing of swords had ended, all his senses were focused on the trees and the bushes. He could hear voices, and then a clap, Lao frowned, was someone clapping for him. No, they would have reveled themselves. "Hey! You can get out of the bushes now." He yelled indignantly, finally having enoug

Sylver was the first to notice that the young man out by the stream stopped attacking and was glancing at them, or at least she was the first to react. He likely knew that they were there, the amount of noise they were making was too much for no one to notice. When she peaked out of the bushes again, she can see bodies of students lying around the stream.

Well, I guess we should really leave now.

It was apparently too late, the young man out there had already yelled at them to come out of their hiding. Okay, now this was bad. The sound of weapons grew nearer and clanged more loudly than before. This was bad, really bad.

The best thing that Sylver figered to do was to revile themselves, better that getting a fireball to the face anyways. Taking a breath, she looked at the other two, not knowing how would they react. "Oh boy, looks like the boy out there know that we're here." Without waiting for a reply she kicked off of the ground hard, just like how the other space weilder girl did. Sylver has to admit that it was an effect way to travel short distances, it was even faster for her because of the wind element she has. A few tails of wind draged behide her as she landed beside the stream, across from they young man.

This was when she realized that she's made a terrible mistake. She had no plan, or anything to take on a fire weilder. Trying to calm herself, Sylver glanced at the pebbles lying underneath the streams. Slowly she rosed them up a little, trying her best to make them not too visible. A layer of frost gathered around the stones. Comet showers were beautiful, and also destructive, even the smallest stones dropped with the force of space will cause mass destruction. Sylver was young, but not weak. The wind still tailed behind her, gentaly rustling the bushes and trees.

"So, this is, um, not too great. How about I don't hurt you, and you don't hurt me?"

Sylver glanced at the bodies on the ground again, they seem to all have a odd symbol on their back. She didn't have one, and neither did Meg when she was still in her uniform. Juke didn't seem like he had one. What did these symbols mean again? Sylver thought, now sort of regretting the fact she didn't litsen to the speech at all.

Meg was about to tell Juke off for suddenly playing the fiddle but stopped, not wanting to seem bossy. She was just worried that someone else might hear and decide to attack them. It was a nice tune though, and it was refreshing to see someone enjoying the lighter things in life. Her green eyes fell on Sylver and saw that the young girl seemed to be enjoying the fiddle as well, even clapping along. Meg smiled slightly but refrained from doing anything else, a little anxious to get moving to someplace safe.

"That sounds lovely, Juke," she said. Even in her nervousness, she had to admit it was a nice tune and she wouldn't mind hearing some more when they were in a more secure place. She then turned to look at Sylver and nodded. "You're right... we need to get moving. Water's good to be around, but not with all that ruckus-"

That was when she heard the shout from the man. Before she could stop Sylver, the girl had already revealed herself. Meg facepalmed and shook her head. "Aiyayay," she muttered to herself before looking to Juke. "I don't know about you, but I don't feel right leaving her out there alone with Mister Fire. I'm going after her." She let out a huff before she stood up straight and walked into the open, pushing a lock of hair behind her ear before looking at the man. She didn't say anything, however.

Galen Morket, "Spirit of Darkness"
Galen didn't understand why he felt this fierce emotion at the fact that, in his mind, he had bested the female before him. She had accepted his plan with no prodding on his part, she hadn't managed to even scratch his blades with her attack, and now she was retreating from him. But he still didn't understand why he had challenged her in the first place. He had never spoken this much to another person in so short an amount of time, until this girl... Angel. Once more giving a smirk at her misplaced name, Galen proceeded to activate his powers once more and slide through the shadows after her.

She clearly wasn't stopping for anything - perhaps in the hopes of leaving him behind - and he could only smirk as he boosted his power usage and appeared beside her, flickering through the trees as though he weren't solid. Which, in those moments, he wasn't. "You aren't going to get away from me that easily." He said softly to her, hiding his grin as in fact he increased his speed, darting in front of her as he began to lead their charge through the woods.

He caught sight of a couple of people as he flew past them, along with more than a few bodies bearing the mark of a noble upon their uniforms. He would have to keep in mind this apparent vendetta against nobles, seeing as his little Angel (he smirked again at the thought) was in fact of noble birth. He couldn't have someone break the new toy he had just found. And it was such a good toy as well!

"Thank you, thank you," Juke laughed, giving a little bow before restoring restoring his outfit to its original condition, once again covering up his wooden arm. It certainly looked lumpy under the jacket, which had to be tailored for him so both arms could be completely covered, but it was hard to tell what exactly lay underneath the sleeve and wielding glove unless you knew. "This baby's gonna need a lot of aftercare once we get out of the jungle," he added, chuckling. "The humidity isn't good for it."

Suddenly a voice came from the clearing beyond, catching Juke's attention again. What had been going on over there again? Oh, right, those two were getting whupped by a fire wielder. Hey, was he the one causing the explosions earlier? That would explain it better than someone having bombs; Juke's father was a fire wielder and had used such explosive techniques before. So, if that were the case...then that guy would have to be a big jerk!

Before he could say anything, though, Sylver was jumping off towards the fire wielder, with Meg in tow. "Hey, wait for me!" Juke yelled, running after the pair out of the bushes. "If you guys are gonna fight I wanna be a part of it!"

Crystal Blanchette

A pocket of her poisonous gas suddenly exploded, spreading into the trees like wildfire. The poison wasn't that harmful, it will just paralyze your body for a few minutes then poof! You'll be back to normal again. She was supposed to be affected, but luckily she had her wind around her, protecting her from her poison.

Crystal went back to the place where she threw her ball of wind and noticed that the boy was not up the trees anymore but below. Complete utter shock took over her whole body and without thinking; she quickly went down the forest floor, trying to approach the boy.

As she said before, it really wasn't her intention to hurt anyone. She just wanted to teach the boy a lesson, but it seems like she went too far. Clanging of swords filled her ears, making her stop on her tracks. She can hear voices and leaves rustling "Two... no three... three students" she muttered and went back up top, using her wind to jump high. She didn't want to be seen by the students, which will ruin her whole plan of staying safe. But the worry and guilt was clawing over her heart and without hesitation, she watched the boy from above.

A girl approached him and Crystal clearly saw that the girl is a space wielder with her pebbles and everything. Sighing, she went down the tree and stood between the two, landing on her feet gracefully. "Okay, okay. Calm down you two. There's no need to fight" she told them, an egg bouncing on her hand as she threw it in the air and catching it playfully. "You two needs to chill, especially you, flame boy." she said, looking over him "I'm the one who sent you the ball so sorry about that. It was supposed to teach you a lesson for attacking someone innocent" she scolded and then turned her attention to the girl "As for you miss space, may I ask why on earth, are you picking up a fight?"

She knew she's being stupid for straying off of her original plan but what the heck? She felt guilty for what she did to the boy, and she would do everything just to remove that guilt in her chest.

1:00 PM

Lao whistled as he watched a white haired girl jump from the bushes all the way to the bank of the stream. She seemed to be a bit flustered for a few seconds before she regained her composer. Was he really that scary. "You know-" Lao was interrupted by another person, a girl, who he could instantly tell was an Earth Wielder. She simple walked out of the bushes and stared, "Hi." He said as he stared back. Then another person appeared, this time a boy, he was a Lightning Wielder, he could tell by the blue emblem with lightning dancing inside it.

Lao was starting to have a headache, he had only expected to meet one student, not 3. They all seemed to be ready to fight him, It wasn't that Lao could not take them, he had nothing against them. He could tell by there reactions and dialect that they were most likely not nobles. Lao scratched the back of his head, what to do? He knew that this situation had a simple solution, he was just making sure it would cover his own bases. The white haired girl had made him and offer, he glanced up at the sun, it was almost 1 o'clock, it would be impossible for anyone to get to the finish line unless they ran all through the night. Lao sighed, there went his dream of being first.

"Alright-." Lao made a move to speak once again, but he was interrupted by someone else. She jumped from the tree and landed in between Lao and the white haired girl. She acted like she wanted to keep the peace, when peace was already in the air. Despite her being that one that attacked Lao, he saw no emblem on her back that made her a noble. Lao glance at the bush again, he frowned and quickly sent a ball of beautiful blue fire at it. The bush instantly burst into flames, his blue flame bouncing around inside, it took a few seconds for the bush to completely burn. Lao smiled, there was no one outside, or inside the bush. "I'm assuming that's all of you." He said nodding at the students. "You aren't nobles, I'm not going to attack you, rest assured, you guys, should be the ones standing down." He said placing his hands in his pockets. "You won't attack me, I won't attack you." He said, emulating the white haired girls former deal.

Meg blinked after a second. "Hi," she replied to the man, keeping her distance still but deciding to be polite. Up close the man didn't seem as intimidating as he had when he'd been tossing around that blue fire, maybe only a few years older than her? The fire, of course, was kind of scary, even if she wouldn't admit it aloud. She didn't really associate much with fire wielders herself, mostly coming by earth wielders like herself. Then again, it wasn't every day that you found yourself at an academy, or rather, participating in a race through a jungle.

"No one's fighting here," she said, turning to look over at Juke before she turned back, eyes widening when she saw a newcomer girl just land between the man and Sylver. Immediately Meg went on guard, frowning slightly. Who the heck was she? As the girl spoke, it was all becoming rather confusing for the earth wielder and, like most normal people, Meg disliked confusion.

"Uwah!" The yelp had been completely out of her control when the man sent the blue fire to the bush. "Why'd you do that?!" She couldn't understand what his problem was! What if there was someone there? What if it was a cute little squirrel? Even if there wasn't anyone, the poor bush didn't deserve to be burned like that! "You could've just asked y'know..." She knew she was grumbling but she was feeling rather crummy at the moment. She folded her arms over her chest, frowning. "If we wanted to attack you, we would've done it already."

Angel snapped her head to the side as the man plowed passed her. She let out a breath and allowed the gravity to return to normal around her body, touching her feet to the ground. She didnt wait to see if the man looked back to see if she was still following. In truth, she had been running to see if he would follow. He was, which meant they were running blindly through the jungle with no sense of direction.

She narrowed her eyes, listening to thee chirps and buzz of the foliage around her. Distant shouts and clangs could be heard. Some students probably found others already, which meant they better hurry if they had any hope of getting out of here first.

She called out, unsure if he was listening or not.

"We're going east right now, if I am reading the sun correctly. Do you remember where the Finish was supposed to be located?"

While all of the above was happening, Amitis the water wielder was nowhere nearby. She didn't really care for water, people, partnering up, or any other time wasting pursuit. It wasn't that she didn't think they were good ideas, but she didn't know who there was to trust, neither did she know how people would deal with her. Besides, did she really need anyone? She was a fighter and could wield water, the element that everyone needed to live.

She made her way through the forest, going, not caring to find a path that was clear of roots, branches and leaves. She nimbly made her way over and under, weaving through as she walked. Her needles were at a ready, just in case anyone thought to come close, but she didn't feel she would need them anytime soon. She was still wearing her uniform, even though the colours didn't suit her. She didn't find it a big deal; if she was spotted, so be it. She wouldn't attack if she wasn't attacked, and if someone tried to get the better of her, well, she would simply teach them how much a pointy needle could hurt.

She kept a good pace before she stopped at a tree, decided to take a break. She leaned against a tall and stout tree, pushing her two coloured hair away from her face and behind her ears. There was no point going too fast and tiring herself when there was still a long way to go. As long as she kept out of everyone's way, she would reach the end with time to spare. Smiling a little, content with her plan, she took a water skin from her belt and took a couple of sips before putting it away. She then looked up at the tree and nodded to herself. Maybe travelling above ground and in the trees would save time. Without further ado, she started to climb the tree she had been leaning against.

At he beginning of the race Akio had been in the middle of the crowd looking up at the head master. He was quite famous though he didn't look like much. Looking at him he found himself wondering how much rumors about him were exaggerated but still would be slightly weary of his abilities if they ever had to fight. Looks didn't have to mean much and you didn't become a head master of a school by being weak. He didn't know why there were all gathered out here over a mile from civilization like they were having an assembly but he could guess it was important. He kept his ears to the ground and knew war was coming with the mustering of his home country and home of the only chaos ruler. Ladria would be preparing for combat and wielders would be of the highest importance in the war. But that didn't explain why they were gathering all first year members. His thoughts were interrupted when the speech began and the crowd went into an uproar. Akio however only could laugh. A race along with a duel to the death in the forest. It would be the simplest thing to get to the other side with his powers but just fading into shadow and going threw but this. He was chuckling nearly doubled over even after everyone else fell silent but he went unnoticed in such a crowd but by the few nearest to him who looked at him strangely. He didn't even watch the match between teachers he was so gleeful.

When everyone shot off for the race he didn't go anywhere deciding what to do. If getting across was too simple then he would simply turn himself into an instrument of the test. While they were all technically wielders with powerful abilities those with weaker wills and untrained abilities would be worthless with war so close. This test was meant to cull out the weakest of the wielders as liabilities. So he would test them as well, he would turn this forest into a hunting ground and kill the weakest off before going to the other side himself. This would also give him the opportunity to find out who would be useful to him in the future. He waited for about 90% of the people to dive into the woods before he started walking forward and a steady pace to the jungle. "So the culling begins." He said to himself with a deadly smile as he entered the tree line.

When he entered the tree line he kept walking for a moment, he wanted to get out of site from the platform. The few who knew of him in this place did not know he wielded the power of darkness, only that he was a powerful mind user. However he had his secrets, he wielded the power of the darkness as well as the power of the mind. The nightmares he could create in a mans mindscape he could bring into the world with his power over the dark but in this land he had told and shown no one this yet. Once he was out of sight he smiled, this would the first time he cut lose in awhile. He started going off at a steady jog, taking long strides, before he started speeding up and running in between tree's. Then he activated his ability, he went half into the shadow world to decrease his weight for extra speed and make his foot falls near silent while remaining corporal so he could be hit and hit back. He soon was speeding threw the woods as graceful as a gazelle as he ran across the forest floor. It wasn't an obvious darkness ability as his insane speed could pass for a wind or even high level earth technique so only another darkness wielder would be able to immediately tell the abilities nature.

The first boy he saw was an older male. Akio saw him just ahead and pored on the speed to catch up. The man heard him at the last moment and started to turn but far too slowly. Without missing stride he drew his black blade Nightfall and delivered a savage side ways cut that sliced almost to his spine and opened his stomach to begin spilling its guts on the floor. The man gave a single chocked cry and fell and Akio raised off blade drawn, knowing he would be dead before he likely even left vision range. 'One.' He thought at the beginnings of his slaughter. He continued onward still he heard sounds of combat and came upon an female earth wielder and an male fire wielder dueling. The earth wielder was hiding behind a shield of earth as the fire wielder barraged it with fire balls trying to break threw. Akio made a decision and raced at the fire wielder. This time he was seen when he was still a few feet away and the fire wielder turned to retaliate. Akio's second ability was the manipulation of the mind and Akio brought that to bare now. Akio used his mind powers in two ways. One the outright torturous mind attacks they were so famous for and the other subtle manipulation meant to last for only a few seconds but much harder to notice. He attacked now making it seem like he was trying to circle the fire wielder from the right while he clocked himself for a moment from his eyes and went to the left. The fire wielder didn't notice and fired at the clone even as it disappeared and before he could even reflect on his mistake Akio had circled from the left and put his blade threw his neck from the side, all 38 inches of it like a dagger. It went in almost without resistance cutting threw his throat and spinal cord killing him instantly.

The female earth wielder screamed at the man who killed so easily and turned and tried to run. She was a pretty thing, probably no older then 16 but she was short so she wouldn't have been able to outrun him regardless. He set off after her catching her before she could take more then 2 dozen steps and tripped her while simultaneously grabbing her head and dashing it against the nearest tree were great force so that the smaller tree actually shook with the impact. The girls scream stopped suddenly as she was killed instantly by the blow when he skull caved in. 'Three.' He thought taking off again. The next pair he came up on seemed to be working together however.

They were running together, constantly looking around. It was a boy and a girl, the girl couldn't be older then 14 even being generous and the guy was an older teen. He ran up at full speed and slammed into the girl sending her sprawling. The boy cried out her name in shock. "LANA!" He turned to try to bring his hands to bare against Akio. He held a knife in one hand while another was readying to use his power only to be delivered a painful back hand that sent him sprawling. He grabbed the girl and pulled her up by her hair as she yelled in pain so that she was in front of him with a blade to her neck but he manipulated the boys sight to see that she was on the crowd with a sword to her neck instead. Far to close for safe spell casting. The girl seemed even younger close up but i mattered not to him as he held the blade close. She cried out to the boy who was getting up and her next words surprised him. "Brother!" She said in worry even with a blade at her neck. The boy turned and his voice was angry as he called out. "Let her go! We didn't do anything to you!" It nearly made Akio laugh, as if he needed a reason with this contest going on but instead he just smiled in amusement and said a simple word. "No." With a cry of rage and desperation the boy lept forward to try to stab him, or at least the him he thought was there, but the knife instead pierced his sisters body as Akio let the illusion fade away. The girl gave a single cry of shock and pain as she looked at her brother with pain and confusion in her eyes. "Brother...." She said in a whisper before Akio cut her throat knowing she was dead anyway and dropped her uncaring as the knife fell from the boys uncomprehending fingers.

The boy knelt down next to the body uncomprehending with horror on his face. He took her head into his hands as if just realizing she was dead and he had stabbed her let out a wordless scream of pain and grief, not even seeing the boy who moved beside him as his mind seeming to break in the horror of what he had done. "This has to be a dream." The boy said brokenly as if he was trying to make himself believe it. He was gonna be a wielder, a great hero like the golden wielder, him and his sister. Yet she was dead on the floor in front of his eyes and he could do nothing. He was still saying it to himself as Akio brought his sword down and separated his head from his shoulders. Akio looked at the two bodies still with a smile on his face and the damage he caused and the expression of horror on the boys head and the betrayal and confusion in the girls eyes. This is what made him a perfect wielder of the power of darkness. He not only accepted the violence and dark things he could do but reveled in them, practiced them, and perfected them as methods of power and torture. He himself was darkness. "Five." He said out loud before racing off to find another target. He almost missed the next person he found as she was climbing a tree. He stopped and turned to glance at her while bringing his powers to bare to suddenly bring her senses to make her feel as if a dagger hit her in the lower back and severed her spinal cord. Like all mind magic it was possible to break out off if your power and will was strong enough but that was a test in itself and it should make her fall from the tree anyway as the sudden mind dagger blow would make her feel like she lost all feeling and connection with her lower body. If she fell free the tree he would simply wait for her to get back up sword dripping red blood in his hands and if not would wait for her to turn to him and peruse if she ran.

Amitis' eyes widened when she suddenly felt as if a dagger had just struck her spinal cord. She gritted her teeth as her hands suddenly lost grip of the branch she had been pulling herself up onto. Fool, she berated herself, feeling disappointed in herself. How had she not known an attack was coming toward her? Her senses had been sharpened to their maximum whilst she was with the fighting clan, as she had been trained under assassins. Extra sharp senses and silence like a shadow was what was expected.

She had a sharp mind, however, so even as she fell, it occurred to her that to hit her at the angle she had been in would have been quite a feat... It reminded her of some of the training she had received from a couple of the more mature and initiated members of the fighting clan. Still gritting her teeth, she focused her mind so that as she hit the ground, she remembered to roll so she wouldn't injured herself. Mind wielder, she thought grimly as she tried to get her body to work some more, almost sweating with the effor.

Even as she tried to sit up, her heterochromic eyes were moving to and fro, trying to find the culprit who was using his ability against her. S***. She cussed in her mind, hating herself for getting in this predicament. There was no way in hell she was going to let herself be killed here. Her hand clenched as she pulled herself up slightly, leaning heavily against the tree trunk.

"Come on, bastard," she muttered, eyes narrowed in effort and annoyance. "Show your face."

Sylver watched as another young lady dropped from the trees, and stood in-between her and the fire wielder guy. When she asked her why was they fighting, and accused her of picking the fight, Sylver wanted to just get out of there fast as possible.

"Well, I was just going along, and saw this guy was here, trying to make human barbecue. I, and those two over there-" She pointed at Meg and Juke in the back "We were trying to hide, and it appears that we're bad at hiding."

The fire wielder in front of her seems to understand the situation pretty well. He accepted the truce offering, and also said something about them not being nobles. So this guy hates nobles? Is that why he kept on attacking students? That wasn't important now though, as in peace was restored. The pebbles that hovered around the streamed dropped back to the bottom again. Then the fire wielder threw a fireball at the bush where they were hiding. Sylver was pretty sure that doing something like that right after assuring peace isn't the best sign that this peace is going to last long. She heard Meg muttered something under her breath, it looks like she wasn't the only one with that thought. Then Meg crossed her arms and told the fire wielder that they could have attacked him along time ago. I believe you were the first one watching him. The air was still tense, and Sylver really feel like leaving the place, but having potential allies in the group, it was hard to just leave. She could probably survive without allies, but that's still hard to say.

The air in the forest was humid and has a grassy smell to it. Sylver had always preferred the cold air on mountains, but this would have to do now. The air was different, as odd metallic smell was in the air.

The tail wind and gravitational field around her haven't disappeared yet, know that ever single person here was a possible enemy it wasn't smart to dismiss it. It was more so important now that bloodshed was likely going on. Space's gravity manipulation, and wind. The combo of these two are likely the most mobile elements out there. By using it correctly she could achieve speed that no single space or wind user can achieve. Or it might even be possible that no other single or duel combination of elements can have this much mobility. Although the attacking power of this combination wasn't great, Sylver was content with what she had. She always was.

"You say, anyone smell the blood in the air? Looks like someone with worst anger issues that Mister Fireball here is around."
