Hidemi couldn't remember much what happened after his test was over. He remembered being picked up by someone and being placed on a chair in front of the stage, where the last student was performing their test. All he could remember from that last test was a lot of yelling going on with the student on the stage before losing consciousness. Waking up in what appears to be in a nursing bed, Hidemi took a look around his surrounds to grasp his location. Realizing that he nearly broke his arms during his test, it was surprising that his arms wasn't in terrible pain anymore. It seems the doctor, or nurse rather, took care of the problem while Hidemi was resting on the bed.

Bringing his arm up to his eyes, he looked at it with sadness in his eyes. He faintly remembers when he was delivering the final blow to the metal square as an all or nothing attack in hopes of clearing the test, he felt the tip of his sword hit a wall of some sorts while slashing through most of the other layers, similar to the other times when he was trying to cut through a stronger layer with his quirk. It was then he realized that he most likely failed his test to simply cut through the thick, multi layered metal box. He probably looked bad in front of his classmates that they would laugh at him for not passing the test, hell, even his mother would berate him, calling him a failure once again for not completing a simple test like this.

Gripping his hand into a fist tightly, Hidemi could feel the rush of blood going to his head as his anger began to rise. He couldn't do anything right. Couldn't even pass his first test here. While it was possible that this test might've had a different objective that the teacher was looking for, it's still a test and he was told to cut through it and he didn't. He was about to punch something near him out of spite of his failure, before stopping for a second to breath in. There's no point in getting angry over it right now. He closed his eyes. Until I get results from the teacher, who knows if I initially passed the test or failed it. Hidemi looked up to the ceiling for a bit, trying to calm down and think rationally about things for a bit. Once his anger has subsided, he got up from the bed and stretched his body.

Hidemi noticed there was quite a few people here other than himself. There was a older guy, who seems to be the nurse here in this school and a boy talking to him, looking at him closely, he seems to be one of his classmates, Setsuna, if he remembers correctly, and the other side had four girls talking among each other. They too were his classmates and not really classmates who would talk to him normally. Hidemi considered leaving the infirmary now that he has mostly recovered from the pain and heading to his room to discuss more about his plans for the school, but it would also be important to get to know his classmates too. I mean they could probably care enough just to see how he's doing, but considered he hasn't been all nice today, that could be a problem for him.

After some thinking about what to do next, he decided that since its the first day, it would be wise to learn more about his classmates too and help them understand some things about them, if he can make it work. Can't believe I talked myself into this. But if it will help me in the future, then it's something I shouldn't ignore. Can't allow pettiness and pride to take over right now. He shook his head for a bit and walked towards the group of girls talking among each other, since the boy seems to be preoccupied with the nurse at the moment. As he got close to the group, he stood straight with his feet together, and gave the group a polite bow as he bent his waist down to them. "Good evening ladies." he greeted to the group as he finished his bow and flashed them with a rather genuine smile, hoping that the girls would be open to his greeting, even if some of them don't like him at the moment.

Suddenly the Infirmary was very much alive, with the pale beauty and blonde fellow from her own testing group arriving first. Offering a drink and some comments, she quickly jumped to cleaning Ramiris up, offering a drink and soon after asking the pair to help her with removing the rags. Curious on that bit she assumed it had something to do with the quirk and in not touching her... A bit confused, Misoka reacts to the order of events quickly.

"Ah thanks!" Taking the drink, she quickly lays it and the cooked burger down, helping with the towels as she spoke. "Ah, but of course! All for the entertainment of others! Plus playing dead with my quirk could prove pretty useful!"

Nodding her head to the rest she chuckles. "We could run the haunted house for the UA this year no problem I bet! Also your quirk was pretty neat! I might be one of the few who could touch you, sorta.. Still though..."

Watching as Setsuna walked away for the nurse, he didn't seem to be in too bad of shape, was he just wanting to talk with the Nurse who ran medical or was he some sort of Tsundere, too proud to admit to needing help?

"We all should go out some time in the evening for shopping yeah? The Monster Girl Squad, we could even bring the missing normies! Hahaha!" She says, making a light joke at the expense of the couple who weren't here and didn't have outlandish quirks or appearances as they did. "Huh wonder if any of us are close in clothing sizes... Ah don't mind me! Short of a couple hobbies I do like fashion of a sort and shopping!"

Having finished in helping Imma with her rag, her original target makes his way over, he was being a bit more friendly than before at least. Winking a little at him in return she says mockingly; "Ah! If it isn't my Killer! Hahaha! Well you seem to be doing well, here have this! You were hurt as well, so might as well give you something as well.. The Drink is mine though.." Taking note she wasn't sure if Imma had brought one for him as well, though given all else, the spare one was likely his. Smiling lightly at Hidemi she didn't seem to harbor any ill will at least.

"Well unless that one is yours?" she says pointing at the spare. In turn she places her own drink down and tosses the other wrapped burger to him lightly, maybe he didn't mind such food at least. "Go ahead, my treat. You do seem alright now at least, yeah?"

Getting through all the events that took place, she smiles at Takagi a bit, curious how that one would take the offer of a shopping trip and the whirlwind of events.

Miss Alucard cocked her head at her teacher. "Hm?" she mumbled through a mouth full of bloodied meat. What on earth was he talking about? Her little sound could be taken as confirmation over confusion, which is probably how he took it. She was only strong enough at the moment because there was gud fuds in front of her, and she needed it to regain her strength. Not to mention that crafty nurse had sneaked her some foul-tasting medicine that had helped! Her nose was irritated by the smell of the medicine.. -smelled like icky veggies! But what could you do.

He mentioned the results of the test... Thinking about it, only made her wince, pained in her cranium. She couldn't recall anything about her test! What had happened?.. Oh well, maybe he'd tell her tomorrow like he said!

"Nn! I love ssteak! Porkchop, too!" Ramiris perked up at what the Dullahan said. "It'ss Alucard, actually!" she corrected nicely. She made to try to recall what happened, leaning back, blood dripping from her mouth and fangs, reddish eyes up as she thought. "Hm... I remember being called up.. Um.. I think..." She tried to remember what happened. She thought perhaps she remembered something coming down out of the ceiling?.. Then a bright flash entered her mind, and she hissed in pain, clutching her head. The blue-haired Vampire immediately gave up. "~N~nope, nothin'!"

Initially it was kinda annoying, to be interrupted in the middle of feasting. But then she realized something.. She was getting cleaned up? This reminded Ramiris of her maids who would do the very same! She perked up, spotting Imma's bare midriff, and licking the remaining blood from her lips that had coated them red. The girl's first inclination was to clean up Ramiris, that was perfect! "Imma! I knew it! You'd make an exccellent maid! I have the perfect maid uniform, too! It expossess that yummy tummy of yourss! It'd be perfect! C'mon!"

"Monsster Girl?"
Ramiris contemplated, looking at the group of girls around her. Was she a monster? Her next question would sort of leave credence to that. "Do you have Blood Juice??" Ramiris asked Imma, smiling brightly and expectantly. When it appeared that didn't seem to register with the duo, her mood deflated and her smile diminished. "Hmmm~mmmnhmm.." she mumbled, staring at the opened drink set before her. It was the next best thing, she supposed.. taking a small sip of it.

Then someone came up. A boy. Ramiris couldn't help but notice his seemingly proud, noble-way of bowing and conversing. It was probably imperceptible to the commoners around her, but the Alucard girl definitely noticed it. He was subtle, but in that moment of him bowing, she saw her father. It wasn't the same, obviously. This boy was trying to express a bit of humility before the girls. Her father never did such a thing. Any time he bowed, it was purely for show. Her proud father would never let even a shred of his dignity go. His bows were purely to seem amicable to any other rich-types who happened to be visiting. He always always always retained an air of superiority about him.

For a moment, it was slightly off-putting. Then she got over it, when Ramiris realized this boy was just being polite, and not mimicking her father; a man he couldn't possibly know. She smiled dazzlingly at him as she had been taught to do so, properly bowing as best she could in the hospital bed with her hand upon her chest. "A pleassure, gent! I am the great Ramiriss Thheressa Alucard, Ssovereign of the Night! Blood Queen, and heiresss to the Alucard esstate~!" She seemed to have enough energy to recount her full 'title'.

Ramiris perked up at something she managed to catch. "Fasshhion?" she repeated in a very eager, enthusiastic tone to her voice, while glancing at Misoka, eyes flashing their bright fiery color. Her mind filled with lengthy, elegant, extravagant gowns, heeled shoes, and various lacy hosiery and underthings. Most of it was restrictive clothing. All of which the noble girl was very intimate with. Stuff she had largely been forced to neglect since becoming a U.A. student. You'd think she would've gotten annoyed with all that, but after living a lonely existence in a castle, such lacy things had become the norm, had become sort of a friend. She missed them, not that she didn't take the time to wear such things on her own time, even here. Still, at the mention, it definitely caught this noble girl's attention. Although, unbeknownst to Ramiris, this probably wasn't the type of fashion Misoka had been talking about.

As the pair arrived at the infirmary escorting the food, Takagi was glad to see that Ramiris was fine, practically jumping out of the bed when she smelled the burgers. Chuckling softly at the girl's question, Takagi replied despite doubting that she was focused on anything but the taste of her food.

"...A hunch... I suppose," Takagi mused, then turning her gaze to the homeroom teacher of whom was still present.

The results would be shared tomorrow, and they would all have some free time for the moment, not that they didn't deserve it. Takagi didn't find her test to be all that particularly stressful, just a basic examination showing off her level of control and application skills, but then there was Ramiris who gored the stage and Hidemi. In all honesty, Takagi was surprised at how well the girl was feeling considering the showing and that she could remember naught of it.

Noting that the teacher had vanished once again, Takagi simply shook her head, not questioning it. Doing so would likely prove more tiresome than the exams were. Now was the time for rest, and sure enough just as the teacher had vanished, Imma had appeared with drinks in tow.

Nodding and taking one of the drinks with a thank you, Takagi covered her mouth to stifle a giggle as she watched Imma clean Ramiris' face. She was quite the messy eater; it was like watching a mother and daughter. After parenting the vampire, she turned to Misoka, apparently having not met prior, though like everyone else she remembered the bit back in class.

It as well caused Takagi to recall her little stunt in the locker rooms, causing her smile to morph into a slight pout.

"Yes... one could say that..." Takagi murmured to Imma's observation about Misoka being a prankster as she opened the energy drink and took a sip.

However, that soft scowl changed once again into that of slight confusion. She could see the monster thing in Misoka or Ramiris, not that they were scary or anything—or one of them. Either way, she couldn't recall a mythological legend pointing to a woman that hit people with their hair. The closest thing was that damn ghost girl coming out of the T.V.

Glancing over to her side, some parts of her hair began to move and weave as Takagi tried to think of what it fit most. Either way, one thing was for certain, she would not be going anywhere near a haunted house, especially not with Misoka around.

"...I can't say that I have anything planned... I was playing today by ear," She replied, perking up at the Dullahan's suggestion of shopping. "That actually sounds pretty nice..."

Soon after the suggestion was made, Takagi noted the other near-death experience of the day making his way towards them.

Hidemi, formerly the brooding boy who gave not even a care when Misoka's head came flying off, had actually approached them first, giving a polite bow before addressing them. Takagi found it a bit odd being the partial target of that greeting. It was polite but almost—overly polite. The girl tried to maintain a level of manners and speech, but not to that level. Then again, he was from one of those rich families like Ramiris, wasn't he?

"Ah, the other sleeping beauty is awake," Takagi mused aloud, watching as Misoka gifted him one of the burgers. "I have to say, the both of you bounce back quite quick considering... You don't have a slight case of amnesia as well, do you... Hidemi, yes?"

Sure she expected the school's nurse to have something prepared, either a quirk or otherwise, for when students got hurt but this still had to be a record.

And then, sure enough, the conversation took a turn back to maids, Ramiris' very, very long title and now—Imma's midriff.

"...A maid uniform that exposes skin... somehow I don't expect that particular costume to be all that appropriate..." Takagi said with a sigh, still she smiled at the prospect of a fun little shopping trip. Takagi had hoped to make a few friends by coming here, but she didn't expect to already have a small group to go on fun excursions like that.

Kazuo had taken a second to run back outside. Once there, he took a picture of the sign on the front door that included the map of the building. He was annoyed they had placed it there, but it wasn't his place. Besides, the likelihood of unsavory characters getting on school grounds, barring special circumstances, were slim to none. With a map in hand, Kazuo was gonna take his time exploring, just as he'd said. He wanted to take this time to get a handle on the layout of the building. He'd explore each floor in its entirety, with two exceptions. First, he would avoid all rooms that weren't his according to the map. Second, he'd avoid girls only areas of course. Kazuo thought it'd be important to have a good idea of the layout just in case it was every necessary, but he was just having a quick look. He didn't plan on taking too long.

Kazuo found the bathrooms, outfitted with laundry machines, perfect, he could do his own and not have to worry about paying for it. One expense that wouldn't be added to his plate as his mother had worried. He went from the top floor down, to the kitchen, maybe he could make something to eat later. He checked out the dining area, and then finally made his way to what appeared to be the living... recreational... study... the common room. He began to walk through when he saw someone... tall. Kazuo remembered him from class.

"Eli?" He walked over to the couch and hopped over the back in order to sit beside his classmate. "That's your name right?" Kazuo smiled and held out his hand. "I haven't always been the best with names, and I figure learning sooner than latter is a good idea," he continued before holding out his fist to bump. "You're quirk was pretty awesome man. And your moves weren't half bad," he paused remembering the end of Eli's trial. "How are you doing by the way man. Any pain?"

Imma Routes

"You really want to go out for a girls night," Imma was immediately caught off guard with a blank stare at Misoka who had humored her monster girl joke. Slowly she felt herself holding back a rush of excitement as she gently coughed, and smiled at Misoka with a nod in agreement to the idea. They were then joined by the appearance of Hidemi who walked over, and oddly gave them a bit of a overkilled hello. It was then Misoka motioned if not the last drink was for him, and in response just like Misoka had done with the burger Imma threw the drink to the boy.

"Yep brought one for you as well, and pleasure to meet you," Imma responded in kind before being pulled back to Ramiris as the vampire pointed out how her actions were very much to spec of a maids. Well she wasn't wrong, but just like last time Ramiris then added in a pervy setup outfit in regards for the girl showing just a little bit of midriff.

"Yet again I think I'll pass Rami I would rather just stay more of a friend then a worker," she sighed chuckling at the girls repeated offer. Takagi seemed to mull over something, but was quick to rejoin the conversation as the group continued to get along quite well. Though that gave a Imma a chance to return to the stranger note earlier said by Misoka.

"And how do you believe I could actually touch you without consequence," Imma asked quizzically.

The silence was nice for a bit. Since getting to school, it seems to have been one thing after another but, I guess that is what happens the first day of school. Didn't think we would be doing full on drills though. As Eli laid on the couch, eyes closed, he just, took in the relief of laying down for a bit. He would probably head off to get food here soon. Did they say anything about a cafeteria? The silence was broken though by Wolf chiming in. "Well, well. Let's see if you will actually talk with someone for a change." Eli was confused by this remark, that was until a young man sat down on the couch he was laying on and began to talk to him.

Eli sat and listened to the boy talk. He seemed friendly enough and Eli did need to start to know his classmates. That is what any good hero would do, right? Eli bumped the fist that was held out for him. "Yea, my name is Eli. If I recall correctly, your name was...Kazuo?" Eli was hoping to go off of memory with the name. He felt like that was right at least. The boy mentioned Eli's shoulder and he chuckled a bit. "Oh..yeah, it's fine. It will heal up great. A bit sore at the moment but no real damage." Eli thought back to what the boy said about his quirk, "Yeah..it's not every day I get to let Wolf out. Let alone run and attack as we did. We are out of practice it would seem to we gotta work on that for sure." Eli was doing well it seemed. He hadn't ever talked to someone his own age outside of Kozu and Wolf. Oh. Speaking of Wolf.

Eli ducked into the small area of his mind where he and wolf talked. "Would you like to come say hi?" Wolf replied, "Awe...thought you wouldn't ask. Figured you keep me locked up." Eli rolled his eyes.

Once the conversation was finished, Wolf manifested his head out of Eli's back so that he was now looking over Eli's right shoulder. Wolf looked at the boy and gave him a wicked smile. "Well, hello. I am Wolf. Eli's best mate and companion." Wolf gave the boy a minute to process everything. "I am so very glad that you came to talk to him. He is very bad about making friends it would seem. I don't even want to know what he will be like with girls..." Eli blushed a bit a the comment.

(for clarification: Wolf is out. Just his head though. Looking over Eli's right shoulder.)

Handing the burger off, Misoka turns her attention back to the other girls in the room, nodding her head in thought before addressing them all one by one. Though it didn't seem to be fully in the order in which they spoke, rather as responses came to her mind.

Looking at Imma first, the girl chuckles a bit with a shrug. "Sure, why not? Hmm Maybe just us in the monster girl group, you know, talk to the teacher and maybe one day in a couple weeks or whatever have a big school outing and split into a few easy to manage groups..they might agree to that, otherwise we all can hang out here in the school stores and stuff.. Wonder how they handle breaks.." Pondering that she shifts her head over to Takagi and Ramiris speaking in turn. "Ah, But what is Alucard backwards?" "Huh? It sounds nice? Well alright then!"

With that her attention shifts back to Imma, nodding in turn. "Depending yeah, what I've seen of your quirk, I should be able to, that's not to say I'm immune, and there are a couple others that might can.." Thinking on her reaction and words it seemed it was indeed a Medusa like quirk, Misoka could likely fight her, but the question was to what extent, even if her muscles went limp she could still swing parts at her, well that would be a surprise for later, wouldn't it?

"Let's just say it's not so easy to stop my parts when they are moving about, as I don't use senses like most to move them."

Looking at the group, she smirks a bit at Ramiris with a tilt of her head before holding her hands up to the side. "Slit pupils and red eyes with scar around her neck, a woman in bad need of sunlight, a girl who is easily spooked yet looks like she should be the one climbing out of the TV, and you as well.. It seems like as good of a name as any huh? And it's not appearances that makes one human.. So just smile, we'll be here for a couple years eh? Also I'm just going to call you Ramiris, the rest of that title is too much for me to remember!"

Setsuna stood, holding his hands in his pockets and stretched his back as he waited for an answer. Of course soon Ryoko turned around at the touch of the Setsuna's finger against his shoulder. He was met with the sightof several students, one being the pink-haired young one who was asking him for medicine. "If nothing's broken and you're not crumpled on the ground, then you don't need medicine," he told him bluntly. "Rest is the best remedy, after all."

Setsuna frowned, and then let out a sigh, "Augh, fine... I guess I'll head back to class." Setsuna turned, and then immediately rolled his eyes. Sure, a bit immature, but it's not exactly like he was asking for the blunt treatment he was given. Setsuna thought for a moment, and considered how he might respond in the same situation... I'm a teenager, I don't want to feel guilt yet. And deciding to postpone his serious thinking about the golden rule began heading for the door. Before he exited he said back into the room, "Oh, uh, get better soon... all of you." He awkwardly trailed off at the end, unsure how to finish off the conversation and exit appropriately... and so he just sunk out of the room.

Walking through the hallways quickly Setsuna found himself back at the classroom, where he decided now would be a good time to wait. Setsuna took a seat in the chair he was assigned and rolled his eyes again, Sure is a poor teacher we have... though in a way I feel like this might just be a fun year. Setsuna smiled, thinking that even without friends he could still find a way to have fun. More than anything the teachers would be interesting enough.

Sitting back in the chair Setsuna tried to ignore the intrusive thoughts about his past friends that had come back. It had been a long time since he had even talked to them. Did he even still have them on his phone? That was pretty early on when he had begun accepting who he was, but he was pretty sure they would still be friends through it... he hoped. Another big sigh escaped Setsuna, "God, I sure do know how to bring down the mood for myself."

A most hype collab between @Childish Grumpino and @Azurian Dream

‘Early dismissal’ isn’t exactly a concept Asuga is super familiar with. Her experience within the music industry was one of long rehearsals and exacting standards set by her dear old dad, so for Mr Yoshimoto to just turn around and send them away several hours early isn’t something she’d been expecting. Not that it’s an unwelcome decision, she has to admit. Already she can feel the onset of a tension headache, one of the more common side-effects of using her quirk in a more aggressive capacity. The opportunity to go sit somewhere quiet, maybe get her stuff unpacked in the dorms (assuming her sister had managed to deliver it on time) and relax a little is one that rapidly grows in appeal.

With a shrug at the teacher’s dismissing of the class, she quickly returns her guitar to it’s case and herself to the changing rooms. Rapidly, before too many of the others can join her. Soon enough she’s back into her uniform and has her guitar case slung over one shoulder as she sets off out of the gymnasium and off towards the dorms.

Unfortunately, it seems she’s not alone in her jaunt.

There’s other students, sure. Unfamiliar faces from other classes, other years, even a few faculty members kicking about. But there’s one mop of blonde hair not too far ahead of her that she’s seen before, another member of Class 1-A, and even if she hadn’t she recognises some of the names he appears to be muttering under his breath as he walks towards the dorms. He’s just finished closing up the journal he’s been writing in when Asuga falls into step next to him, observing the boy with a raised eyebrow.

“So do you make a habit of muttering about class-mates, or is that some new strategy you’re trying on for the school year?”

"Heh, more so to remember you all from the get go," Allo smiled with a tilt of his head toward Asuga as she got into step with him. This had been a bit unexpected, but in honesty it was perfect chance to talk to Asuga without bothering her. Besides she had started the conversation, and hell a nice conversation on a walk home was always relaxing.

"I double as a support tech in truth. So I gotta be aware of what you can all do, your style of combat, and how your quirks sync with potential upgrades," he impressively spoke in one breath as he motioned to her guitar case.

"Like take for example your gear. I need to know how to fix a Fender Stratocaster American model," he spoke in example.

"Or better yet how to incorporate better resin or finish so that it doesn't suffer to the elements. Albeit I surmise your probably attached to that particular model so I need to research which factors keep parts to keep it what it is or find the molds so I can make improved parts," he added halting as he flipped his pen expertly around his fingers before stowing it into a small compartment on his notebook. Once his onslaught of noting, and idea's fumed down he turned back his attention to Asuga.

"On the side your rather talented... like way talented. You have a air of musician to you. So instead of the musical life why the spiral of the hero," Allo asked rather blankly.

Arching an eyebrow, Asuga feels herself nodding in what might be something approaching approval before she can stop herself.
“You got a good eye for guitars, I’ll give you that. Or at least for Strats.” She shrugs her guitar case further up her shoulder, focusing her attention on the path ahead of them again. “Not that I’ll be letting you take this girl apart, just so we’re clear.” Growing quiet for a moment, she turns Allo’s question over in her head before finally settling on an answer that she’s comfortable with giving. “Music was what someone else chose for me. I chose this for myself.” She gestures ahead at the campus.

Her head turns again to regard Allo, expression half-frown and half-quizzical. “What about you? You got that boy scout look about you. This the family business, or something?”

"I just know my "instruments"," Allo chuckled in thanks of the nod she had let slip out giving her a genuine smile for the compliment. Watching as she slung her guitar further up her body almost protectively, and as he had guess that very guitar was important to her. Her answer to his last question though strangely sang to him in understanding even if in a different manner. He mulled over her turnaround of the question his wasn't as hardened into reality... and in truth his reasoning was a bit lame said aloud.

"Nah, moms a weapons contractor for the USA, and dads a salesman," Allo answered as he wondered what the half frown was for. Though for now he would have to wait for reason as he continued.

"Simply put I just want to help people as best as I can. I guess I am one of those people that if I see someone in trouble I can't resist running towards it to resolve it," he answered full heartedly with a big grin.

"Guess I am a idiot for that, and ya to much of a goodie good. Yet just like you I just want to be me you know," he asked Akane as he placed his Notebook in his backpack.

"But most of all I want to build things that will protect those that protect other. I want to lead those kind of people to save as many people as possible whether it be disasters, or villains," the blonde turned around walking backwards as he pointed at Asuga.

"I want to protect you... and those like you cause you give your all, and ask for little back well most do I wont lie some do it for the money, and fame," Allo shrugged as he continued to walk backwards.

Asuga pulls an expression that might almost be a smirk.
“So definitely a Boy Scout, then. Gotcha.” She continues to watch Allo as he walks backwards, her expression shifting to something more quizzical. “Big heart and big dreams, and enough talent to make it this far. So now here you are, making a go of it at UA High.” She looks down again, re-adjusting her guitar case. “Saw a lot of guys like you, back when I was still touring. Big dreams to match their talents. Guys who could make an instrument really sing. But they didn’t have the savvy to last. Didn’t know what it was they were getting into.”

The almost-smirk is back on her face, now. “They all made one fundamental mistake, see. They thought everyone felt the way they did. That everyone was in it for the love of the craft, for the music, to make something beautiful. So they didn’t manage to spot the predators. Not till it was way too late. Not till they’d been eaten up and spat back out once they weren’t of any further use.” Asuga shrugs. “Music industry isn’t all that different to professional heroics, Boy Scout. It’ll eat you alive as well, if you let it. So if you’re a fan of taking notes?” She nods towards Allo’s notebook. “Put this one down in big bold capitals. Spot the sharks before they spot you. Cos not every villain saunters around backlit and wearing a cape.” The almost-smirk seems a little warmer, all of a sudden. “Free advice from a music industry escapee. You’re welcome.”

"Heh, a boy scout I an," Allo responded as he smiled at her genuine remark. Not for it's value of knowledge, but for its truth in Asuga's character by no means was she in it for the fame or glory. Much like Allo she was in it because its who she wanted to be. Yet at the same time she knew the whole of the job it was still in fact a business with the potential to devour those who were uncareful, and trusted to much.

"Guess I'll have people like you watch my back then," Allo winked playfully as he finally turned around as they had reached their destination... the dorms. Of course he would need to set his bed, but he had a idea for everyone to enjoy,

"Well I'll catch you later, oh and Asuga. Thanks for the free advice," Allo chuckled as he saluted her with his notebook before heading into the dorm making a beeline for the kitchen.

Asuga watches the boy dart off towards the kitchen with a roll of her eyes.
“I'll be charging next time!” she calls after him.

COLLABORATION BETWEEN

CHITOSE, KAORI, EISUKE > KAORI, EISUKE > CHITOSE, KOZA
~~~~~~~
@Mr.Scales ⚖ @Quake
As Kaori watched through each of the students go through their own trials, all that was going through his head was why his powers had backfired like that, sure he was tired and that would maybe damper it, but he used his powers for much longer without any issues. I need to work this worked out, even if it takes all night...Or forever. The boy stared at his hands and watched as the blank ink-like color turned to his beige skin tone. Well that's strange, did it go away when I wasn't thinking about it?
Each test caused some type of difficulty for the students, but the ones who got the worst of which happened to be Hidemi and Ramiris, Thankfully Ramiris looked to be okay, but not without worrying the boy. She really went all out, I really hope she's okay. What Kaori didn't know was if Hidemi was going to be okay, he really pushed himself to the limit and looked like it took an emotional toll on him. He was really nice to me, maybe when he's okay I can take a visit to him and thank him.
His eyes scanned through the rest of the students who were ready to leave towards their dorms when he noticed his favorite silver-haired twins. "Chitose! Eisuke! You guys did awesomely! You guys are going to be pros with ease!" The boy's smile lowered as his thought of the injured students was reminded. "I really hope they are okay."
Chitose and Eisuke both looked over to Kaori when he approached them. The twins had been thinking about heading back to their dorms, but when their favorite healer approached, the two of them couldn't help but smile.
"Kaori! You were amazing too! Don't forget about yourself!" Chitose spoke up first.
"Yeah. You'll be a pro in no time." Eisuke added. At the mention of the injured students, he frowned a bit as well. "Yeah, I hope so too." "I wish they didn't push themselves as far as they did."
Chitose's lips compressed a bit in thought. "I'd love to get them a gift or something, but I'm afraid of accidentally offending them. Plus, I have no idea what they'd like."
Kaori blushed immensely with the compliments given from the twins, who he appreciated opinions from the most. "Aw thanks guys! I kinda messed up there in the end, so I got to work on that a little more."
The boy stared at his hands and watched as they flickered from his unknown duel abilities. The boy paused to throw a few ideas around in his head, before one clicked. "Hey, what about like a card and everyone in the class will sign it? It's not much but it's sincere at least right?"
Both Eisuke and Chitose thought about the idea before the brother was the one to speak up first. "It's a good idea, we might not be able to get everyone to sign it on time." He told the others. Eisuke truly did like the idea, but they would only have so much time to hunt everyone down and get them to sign the card.
"I'm sure we'll be fine." Chitose spoke up, smiling. "Why would they decline signing cards for their classmates?"
Both of the twins had good points about the card, he would hope all the students would be eager to sign a card for an injured student, but he barely knew any of them.
"I think at least most of them would sign it, maybe if we can ask everyone when we get the chance?" A bunch of ideas came to his head about a card, but with too many blade puns. "I'm going to head to the dorms to get a card ready, do you guys wanna join me?"
He was already super excited to be close to Eisuke's dorm, but wished he could at least be on the same floor as Chitose, even though he understood why. "We can even try to introduce ourselves to some of the other students!"
Both of the twins nodded in affirmation, "Sure. I haven't had much of a chance to check things out." Eisuke said to the shorter male.
"Yeah, I gotta head to my dorm too. I wanna get out of this uniform and into some comfortable clothes." As she said this, Chitose fidgeted with the collar of her shirt. She wasn't much of a fan of uniforms. The twins gestured Kaori to follow, though it wasn't long before Chitose spoke up again.
"So Kaori, did you make a new friend today?"
"Or a potential wolf girlfriend?" Eisuke added with a playful smile, teasing his friend.
The was close to having a meltdown of embarrassment when they gave the mention of his interaction with Akane "Wha-What!? You mean Akane? She's just a friend and I just met her!" The boy was going to continue with his rant before he realized they were teasing him. "Oh haha very funny! She's really cool though! Plus her ears-"
He stopped himself before they would get even more ammunition of teasing. "Anyhow that was really cool seeing everyone's quirk! I can see why everyone was chosen to the school in the first place." All the students had such a wide variety of quirks and techniques that they shown in the gymnasium, which made him geek out a little bit.
Eisuke and Chitose both enjoyed seeing their friend stutter and blush. They didn't mean to embarrass him so much, but they couldn't help it. Kaori was so fun to tease~ By the time Kaori mentioned Akane's ears, both twins had very wide grins on their faces.
"I have to agree, seeing everyone's amazing quirks was pretty, well, amazing! A lot of specialists and versatility!" Chitose responded and Eisuke followed up.
"Speaking of, that sparking around your hands, did you upgrade your quirk back there? What an amazing time to discover something new." Eisuke smiled at that.
Kaori was a bit confused by his friends statement, from his perspective he only had one ability that short circuited. "Huh? I can only heal things, I mean that I know of." He began losing his attention when given the thought from Eisuke. A second quirk? All i did was heal the vines and... "You mean when my quirk backfired? That was just me overusing it."
"Ahh, sorry it looked like you might have upgraded. My quirk also did a spark around the hands when it developed from zaps to lightning, I thought your quirk might have done the same." Eisuke explained.
Chitose frowned, "Make sure not to overuse your quirk too often, Kaori. Quirks can be pretty harmful or parasitic on the body if they're pushed past the limit." She said to him, looking at him with concerned eyes and putting a hand on his shoulder. Chitose just didn't want something happening to her friend.
Eisuke gave Kaori a lot to think about, he usually only saw his hands turn black when he overused his quirk. "Yeah I'm not really sure now that you say that..." The boy once again zoned out thinking all about his quirk, when he heard Chitose start to talk and lend her hand to his shoulder. "Yeah, sorry. I just kinda wanted to put out a good first impression and didn't even realize that i was overusing it, thanks Chitose." Kaori shined a sincere smile towards his friend.
Chitose smiled back, "Good. We need our favorite healer to be healthy and happy~" She told him and took back her hand as she walked alongside him. Chitose wasn't sure if her heart could handle seeing any of her friends in a hospital bed.
"So what are you guys planning to do now?" Eisuke decided to ask the two.
"I think I'll go to the gym for a bit. I need to do my daily cardio and maybe some strength exercises." She said, then the two of them looked towards Kaori for his answer.
When Kaori first found out he was accepted to the school, he was obviously excited, but there was also some worry into if he was good enough and if he would feel out of place, Chitose and Eisuke are the ones that reassured him that he would be okay and that they would be there to help him.
"Got a paper cut I can help with." The boy joked over his obvious less confidence.
The boy was a bit surprised that Chitose was already eager to let out more steam since she already looked pretty warn out "If I even walk a block I think I might pass out!" Kaori joked and rubbed his hand through his damp hair. "I'm thinking of heading to the dorms, maybe introduce myself to a few others, wanna come Eisuke? I'd probably sit there like a mess talking to them."
Eisuke, now that he thought about it, hadn't really done much to introduce himself to his classmates. His sister had been the one doing the talking. He'd best get his voice out there unless he wanted people to know him only because of Chitose, or be forgotten about entirely. "Sure. It would be better than sitting in my dorm." He answered, inwardly coming up with conversation topics for later. It would also be in Kaori's best interest he be present unless Eisuke wanted his friend to risk embarrassing himself again.
"Great! Make sure to tell me about all the new friends you two make, okay?" She asked the two of them, then looked to Kaori. "Especially you! I have a feeling you'll befriend plenty of people in no time!"
Kaori felt relief rush over him when Eisuke accepted his invitation to join him, after today he did not wanna talk to people he didn't know alone.
"Oh thank goodness, now we can share the embarrassment." The boy chuckled and nudged at his male friend. He was a bit saddened that Chitose couldn't come with them but relieved he still had Eisuke.
"Well make sure you don't fall asleep on the treadmill, It hurts trust me." Kaori thought back to one of his many embarrassing stories. "Ready Eu?"
Chitose, seeing they were getting to her floor, separated from the two with a wave of her hand and a big smile. She would rush off to her dorm so she could get a much needed cleanse and clothes change.
"Let's get going." He gestured the shorter male with his hand. "We got this; most of our classmates seem like good company." Eisuke assured his friend. He just hoped Kaori wouldn't get cold feet last second and leave him.
As the three hit a crossroads, he looked over to Chitose to see his friend giving him a wave goodbye. "See ya later!" Kaori gave an equally wide smile and wave from the other direction.
When he heard the boys voice and followed towards their floor. "A lot of them looked pretty fierce, sure they won't bite our heads off?" The boy chuckled to himself, though felt a bit worried. "But yeah, it should be fine."
Eisuke gave him a pat on the shoulder, "We'll both be fine. You have the lovable face syndrome; I'm sure no one could hate you." He assured half-jokingly. Kaori did have a face that was difficult to hate. If his friend mastered the puppy eyes, the world would be his oyster.
Usually, Kaori hated how little he appeared to be, even last year he was mistaken as a ten year old by a stranger. "Maybe it'll finally come in handy, puppy dog eyes can be my secret weapon." The boy gave a devilish smirk. "I mean if we even get that close...before they inevitably bite our heads off."
As the two friends got closer to their floor, Kaori got an idea. "So we could go to our floor and talk to our dorm mates, but I was thinking maybe we greet the guys on the fifth floor, since we have lots of time to meet our new neighbors."
The taller chuckled at the idea. He would look forward to the day newspaper headlines spread that a Hero managed to get some Villains arrested using puppy eyes.
Eisuke, hearing his friend's idea, nodded in approval. "That's a great idea. Besides the classroom, we won't really see the fifth-floor boys that often." There was also the Boy's bath they could see them, but Eisuke was damn well certain that no one wanted to make introductions with their dick swinging free. "Let's go see if there's anyone there."
Kaori always appreciated when others complimented him, which also put him at ease with his insecurity. "Yeah exactly what I was thinking, plus we should get to know everyone if we are stuck with them for the next couple of years." What Kaori hoped for when coming to the school was a fresh start and to feel like an equal, which has become quite difficult for him.
The boys continued to climb the stairs until they made it to the fifth floor, Kaori looked at the few dorms on the floor, all looking exactly like each other. "So who should we talk to first?"
Eisuke scanned around the area, seeing their limited options. He saw one familiar face; Koza's rival was it? He knew the guy's name was Eli because of Chitose mentioning him but was he a friend of Koza's? Eisuke couldn't really remember, but there was one way to find out.
"How about the guy who made that entrance and wolf boy?" He suggested to Kaori. Those two guys probably had the strongest quirks in the classroom, and honestly, probably seemed like the best befriending options.
It seemed the twins knew more about the other students than he did, which wasn't surprising with his social anxiety. "That wolf guy was pretty intense, but was totally cool." He took a long gulp before continuing. "Wanna introduce us first? I don't think I'm there yet."
Eisuke smiled understandingly, "Of course." He gives his friend a pat on the shoulder before gesturing him to follow. He would walk up to his classmates and smile politely to them.
"Hey, sorry if I'm interrupting. We just thought it'd be a good idea to properly introduce ourselves to our classmates." He gestured to his friend. "This is Kaori and I'm Eisuke." It was better to tell them directly so there was a better chance at being remembered.
She rushed towards her dorm and picked up some clothing that she felt would be acceptable for the gym and an extra sports bra to further prevent uncomfortable bouncing. She felt hot and dirty after being put under that intense lighting; the sensation of the fabric sticking to her skin just made her all the more uncomfortable.
Chitose took her belongings and walked to shared baths, deciding to save washing her hair for when she was finished in the gym. For now, it would just be to cool down and get the drenched clothing off her body.
Once her quick cleanse was finished, she was dressed, and her dirty clothing was discarded in her room's laundry basket, Chitose started making her way towards the gym.
Chitose was honestly glad that the tests were finally over. After witnessing Hidemi and Ramiris put themselves in the infirmary, she wasn't too sure if she would be able to focus well enough. Were her classmates okay? Would they be okay after that? Hidemi's screams and Ramiris's roars still echoed within her mind, even sending a chill down her spine.
Perhaps the cards would do them both some good? Would they even like the cards? Ugh... She wished she had a "figure out what everyone liked" quirk that could help her!
Before she could walk too far, she caught a glance of her pink haired friend walking by himself. Deciding to give him some company, she walked in his direction.
"Koza, hello!" She approached him, smiling at him. "Amazing job on your test!"
“Oh Chitose! Thanks!” Koza grinned. “I was pretty great, wasn’t I?” The boy had showered, cleaned up, and had dressed down in a deep blue hoodie, acid washed jeans, and his favorite black beanie. Realizing he was being self centered, Koza smiled sheepishly.“ I saw your exam too! Gotta give you props for being able to hold out that long, over and over again! That takes something special!” For all his flashy moves and over the top attitude, Koza meant every word he said. He knew firsthand how hard it was to control and master their quirks. It was a struggle and path every single one of the students was traveling down. They were all simply at different points in their journey.
“Hey so listen! I’m actually heading to the cafeteria right now, since I sorta accidentally ate all my snacks I bought this morning. That, annnnnnd..I’m also out of coffee.” Koza held up his empty thermos, tapping it gently to show it was empty. “Want to come with? I’m sure they’ve got something you’d like as well. We can catch up on the way over!”
Chitose, hearing the other compliment her abilities, smiled in gratitude. Though she knew she could have done better. Sure she could be a cloud for about half an hour, but so what? Eisuke finished his test in 10 seconds; that would be the same as him staying a cloud for at least 2 hours compared to her!
Regardless, she was truly happy her friend thought she did well, even if she didn't share it.
"Aw, thanks! I just wish that Pro gave me more than just "turn to a cloud." I can do more than that!" She complained.
At the mention of getting food, her smile widened. She had already gotten to her dorm and gotten a much-needed cleanse. Chitose had chosen to dress in a baggy shirt and sweatpants, her cell phone and music player in her pockets. Since it was the first day, she didn't want people to get the wrong idea from the usual shirts she wore.
"Sure! Heh, how am I not surprised you ran out of everything?" She asked him.
Chitose gestured Koza to come along so they could get going. She would walk beside him, hands in front of her and a cheery smile on her face. Since they were going to be seen by a group of people, she'd have to pretend perfection again.
"I'm sorry we haven't been hanging out, my friend. My brother and I were so busy preparing ourselves for UA's entrance exam that we didn't have much time for anything else." She apologized.
"Its fine," Koza replied, as the pair turned and headed down the halls. "Honestly, this summer was really busy for me as well. I took up a job bagging groceries to help out at home, and any spare time I had left was spent doing my own training. In the end I'm just glad we got put together in the same class. Even ol' Eli ended up with us. Imagine the odds of that happening."
As they walked, Koza noticed his friend's mannerisms and the way she carried herself were a bit different than earlier. Ah, of course. People. Impressions. Keeping up appearances. He let out a sigh and smiled at her, almost sadly.
"Well, I guess no matter how much we grow and develop, some things never change."
She listened to him intently, mentally taking notes for potential topics that she could bring up later. Chitose hadn't expected him to take up grocery bagging; in truth, she thought he would want to work at a cafe selling coffee beans or something. Then again, it may be for the best he be at the grocer. He might've ended up getting fired for drinking all of the customer's orders before they reached the counter; the mental image made her giggle a bit.
"Mhm, you're hardly any different the last I saw you. I am pretty surprised Eli got into our class too. Not because I think he is incapable or anything, it's just there are a lot of other classrooms he could have been assigned, but he got the one with you. Not to mention I got the class with my two best friends and my brother... This is either a rare coincidence or intentional by UA's staff." She told him. What were the chances that she'd be in the same class as her brother and most of the people she remembered from her childhood? It almost felt like a reunion!
"Speaking of Eli, are you two still rivals?" She asked him. They seemed pretty friendly when she walked into class that morning; had they stopped or were they just on friendlier terms?
"Rivals? Hm, I'd say we're more friendly competition. At least for now. We're competed so much over the past couple years, but I really didn't see him much over the summer either. In fact, I don't think I saw him at all. But you know me, I'm always one to poke fun, so I imagine that's probably what you saw when you came in this morning."
Koza took a step forwards in front of Chitose to open the Cafeteria's large double doors, escorting her inside with the playful bow and a boyish grin on his face.
"M'lady. After you."
She gave a small 'oh' as Koza explained the current standing of his and Eli's rivalry. A friendly competition did sound a lot better than two individuals at each other's throats to try and best the other person. It would also explain what she saw that morning, and since Eli didn't seem annoyed, she could assume the two of them were on good terms~
As Koza opened the door for her, she couldn't help but grin back. She curtsied at him, her hands going to her sides as if to hold up the ends of a dress.
"Why thank you, good sir~" She said, giggling at the silly antics. Chitose was aware that doing so would seem a little strange, but it was obvious she was just playing along with her friend so her "Perfect" persona could get away with it.
The cafeteria itself seemed relatively busy with different students of all kinds. Chitose, after she entered the room, scanned around in search for an empty table.
"Oh, there's a table over there." Chitose informed her friend after a few seconds of looking, "Let's get some food before someone takes it!"
'Right! Well no time to waste! I'm starving!" Koza hopped in line, motioning for Chitose to follow. As they moved through the line getting their different dishes, the young boy did his best to maintain small talk while he loaded up his plate.
"Say, have you thought of a hero name for yourself?" Koza asked as he helped himself to a large serving of rice. "I've been thinking i'll call myself Mr. Quick! Or Tempo!" He smiled excitedly, imagining the masses one day cheering on his name.
She followed him, every now and then saying "excuse me" to the people she accidentally bumped into. Once the two had arrived, Chitose grabbed her own plate and piled some food up for herself, particularly some pork cutlets. She had plans to workout later so she could eat a little extra right now.
"Ooo, those are pretty good! For me, I haven't thought about it much." She pondered the thought, "I did think about "Foggy," or "Misty," or "Mistery" with "mist" instead of "m-y-s-t," but I don't know yet. I must think on it some more."
Chitose didn't really think any of those were things she'd would want to keep hearing for years to come. Sure she could rebrand herself, but she wouldn't want to confuse people in the future by having 50 different aliases.
"Well it seems we have time. I can't imagine we'll get anything too permanent now, at least not until we've learned some more and done some actual hero work."
Sifting through the people, Koza lead Chitose to their table and took a seat.
"So our class is pretty....interesting, wouldn't you say?" he asked, beginning to chow down on his meal.
Chitose followed him, weaving through the crowd and almost getting lost a few times due to how short and unnoticeable she was. Koza's choice of fashion was one of the things that made her happy when she was in a public place with him; he was so easy to spot.
She put her plate down in front of her chair and took a seat.
"Absolutely! Everyone's quirks are so amazing too! I'm kind of intimidated by them, and I haven't even seen them spar with someone yet." Chitose pondered the tests again with a big smile. She could easily imagine everyone becoming a Pro. "Who did you think has the best quirk in the class? Besides yourself." She added the last part playfully.
Koza scratched his chin, thinking back to some of the tests they'd seen earlier. There were so many students with so many different abilities. Although one did stand out to him.
"If I had to guess, I'd say it was the dark haired girl..What was her name? Tagato? Takago? Takagi? Something like that. I mean, did you see the way she used her hair in both defensive and offensive styles? It was pretty cool! I imagine versatility is really important when it comes to being a good hero." The boy took a sip of his coffee, accidentally burning his tongue. "Ow! Hot!" An embarrassed smile crossed his face, and he gently blew on his coffee in silence.
"I mean, what do you think?"
She bit the inside of her cheek to keep herself from laughing, though her smile was still present. "When will you listen? Hehe~" Chitose had told him many times already to blow on his coffee before he drank; at this point any little burn was self-deserved.
"Right, right. Takagi I believe," Chitose remembered her test, "Yes, her ability is quite versatile! I'm sure she could also use her hair to travel great distances if she had that much control!" She imagined Takagi could use it to swing herself, catch the next object, then swing again. Kind of like a superhero from one of the comics she's read.
"Versatility is very important in a hero, yes. Sure you can be super amazing in one thing, but it leaves glaring weaknesses in everything else; something a villain can (and will) take advantage of."
She took another bite of her food, chewing as she pondered her next thought, then swallowed.
"For now, I think Takagi has a clear advantage over many of us, but I believe there's one person who could beat her. Eisuke. Now, I'm not saying that because he's my brother. The reason I say that is because if she tried to restrain him, she just creates a line between herself and my brother which he could shock her through. If she tries to fight him hand-to-hand, he only needs to touch her to administer a controlled shock... Now that I think about it, I'd like to see them spar one day! How would Takagi handle a fight when someone can counter her quirk? That would be interesting~"
Chitose clenched her teeth a bit, some jealousy arising despite giving her friend a smile. Her brother's versatility could very much take down a good chunk of the class, assuming he could land the shock.
Koza's smile disappeared at the mention of Eisuke. The brothers quirk was great like Chitose said, but the Koza wasn't really sure what to say about him. They hadn't spoken in a long time, and interaction they had was just wierd.
"Um yeah. I guess his quirk is really...something."
The boy looked away and continued to eat in silence, purposely avoiding Chitose's gaze.
Chitose noticed the other male immediately close himself off, making her remember.
'Oh shoot that's right...' She inwardly sighed. Chitose kept forgetting Eisuke was such a sore topic, and honestly, she hated that he was. His and Koza's fight was so long ago and she couldn't understand why it was still such a big deal, but nonetheless, she would change the subject to keep this from becoming awkward.
She just wished things could be like the good old days.
"Sorry about that," She apologized first then asked, "Hey Koza? You know those two students that passed out? Hidemi and, uhh...blood girl? Rina, Tina, Tami, whatever. Kaori wants to get a card and have it signed by the class as a "get well soon" kind of thing. Do you think we should add more to it? Like a gift they can eat or use?" It was genuinely a question she had on her mind, because while Tami (or was or Rami) could probably do with a steak or something, Hidemi was more of an issue.
"Get her coffee," Koza joked, his face lighting up again. "Everyone likes coffee. Well, not everyone. But most!" Koza was almost finished with his meal, so he quickly poured the remainder of his coffee into his thermos, topping it off for the rest of the day.
"Honestly, I don't really know what they'd like, but I'm sure they'd appreciate the gesture, whatever the gift might be."
Chitose grinned, happy to see her friend become happy again. Coffee could work if the individuals were as avid coffee drinkers as her friend, but there was no guarantee that they'd like coffee at all.
She was almost finished with her own meal and felt quite stuffed. She couldn't wait to work out, "Hmm... Booo, getting gifts for people I hardly know stinks." Chitose hmphed, believing Kaori's card idea may be the best bet. "Hey, did you ever see if there was a gym here?"
"I think there's one down that hall over there," Koza replied. "I haven't seen it for myself however." Checking his watch, Koza smiled.
"Well, would you look at that. Now that I'm full I'm gonna go take a nap. Enjoy your workout, and I'll see you later, alright?" Koza piled his dishes and utensils onto his tray, getting ready to leave.
Chitose piled her own dishes up and stood up, collecting her garbage to get ready to leave as well. "Yeah, of course! Sleep well, oh and it was great to see you again!" She told him, giving him a head nod of "see you later" since her hands were full.
After their goodbyes, she would toss away the disposables and start heading to the gym. She needed to get stronger and faster if she wanted to stay in tip-top shape and ahead of the game!
Hidemi Isobe
: Infirmary
Date: April 7th
It seems his rather polite introduction to the gang seemed to have been a success. Though it's unsure what their thoughts on Hidemi was at the moment, it's probably best he didn't hear it at the moment since he's still...a bit over the place from the tests and all. With that out of the way, he took the time to observe the girl's personality and quirk based of their introductions to Hidemi.
The first one as Misoka, the red haired girl with a quirk that can separate her head, and perhaps other body parts too according to the test. It seems she can be considered a dullahan due to her love of separating her head alot. Especially with the trickster personality. And because Hidemi was the one who triggered her little prank earlier today, he's given the lovely title of killer. Well this is the first time he's been called like that and certainly won't be the last. But it seems she did have something for him, a burger wrapped in plastic, obviously gotten from the cafeteria. Hidemi hasn't been one for rather cheap food, though that may be because he'd always have fancy food for all his life. But who is he to ignore a gift from a fellow classmate. His parents always told him to throw away gifts that are terrible and worthless to him, but honestly, gaining the trust of his classmates sounds like a better plan than being a pompous jerk. "Thanks." He smiled as he accepts the offer from Misoka, he is a bit hungry, maybe he'll try to eat it when he has the time for it. Hopefully he won't puke it up as it is a food he hasn't tried before.
The second one, the who whom Hidemi was weary about, and the other person who was severely injured from the test, judging by her being on the bed, was Ramiris. Or by her long title, "The Great Ramiris Theresa Alucard, Sovereign of the Night, Blood Queen, and heiress to the Alucard Estate". Again, a long and ridiculous name, but looking at the title again with a clear mind, Hidemi noticed he wasn't the only one in this class that was of a high noble family, It seems the pale looked girl was also in a rich and noble family too, and a foreign exchange nonetheless. And her obsession with maids and butlers, could it stem because she's been raised by them all her life and she feels empty without them? Did her parents become so busy that they didn't get the chance to be with her for most of his life? That could be an interesting theory that intrigues Hidemi. He's been spoiled by his maids and butler, including his own personal butler, Jiro, but he's spends more time with his parents than his servants, which is why he doesn't value his servants as much as she does. They might be from rich noble families, but the two of them have different personalities compared to each other. "A pleasure to meet you also, Ramiris." He returned the vampire's introduction with a compliment.
The third one, the girl with long, black hair is Takagi. A rather peculiar person, while he doesn't have too much information on the girl's personality, at least from what he heard from her, she seems to be rather...tricky to deal with, not just with her personality, but with her quirk. Can she manipulate the strength of her hair so that it isn't easy to be tore through? There are many ways she can use her quirk once she has mastered it. Makes for an interesting future pro hero. With her rather sly question aimed at Hidemi, he decided to also respond back to her question. "Oh don't you worry Takagi, my memories of all the test that I fully concentrated on today are still up there fine and dandy." He answered back to her question. The only test he didn't remember much of was Ramiris' and that was because at that time, he had his focuses elsewhere, trying to stay awake while dealing with the pain from his arms from the aftermath of the test. The only think he could remember are the screams and the amount of blood on the stage.
And lastly, was Imma, A girl who's quirk has gotten the most interest from Hidemi. A quirk that can paralyze a person just through touch or eye contact. While a paralysis quirk isn't anything to brag home about, the fact that it's touch based which would make sparring with her more difficult, since trying to touch her with his quirk will just end up immobilizing him. In all sense, this was good for him to learn out how to effectively attack others from a long range rather than going in close with his quirk all the time when it's not an option. She threw a can at Hidemi, offering it to him in a similar way that Misoka did, although thankfully she threw it instead of him grabbing the can from her hands and accidentally touching it and being paralyzed. After grabbing it with his other free hand, he felt a bit of a shockwave of pain coursing through his arm. Of course, his injury from the test hasn't fully recovered yet so he would need to be careful with what he does with them for a while. Looking at the can, it seems to be some kind of carbonated soda, another type of product Hidemi never tried, seems these girls have different kinds of meals than he normally does back at the house. "Same to you Imma." he replied back.
After giving his comment to all four of the girls, Hidemi started to feel the exhaustion from the amount of energy he used from the test, he would stay a little bit more, to see what else he could learn, but he did have a few other things to worry about first before the end of the day. Plus, who knows what these classmates might do next with him if he stayed a while longer. Time to move it before something else happens. "It was nice to meet you all. I have a few others thing I remembered needing done before the day ends, so i'll see the four of you in class tomorrow." With a short bow from his head, Hidemi left the room while listening in to the classmate's farewells, should they say one to him.
After leaving the infirmary, Hidemi looked around the hallway to get his surrounding of the place, it doesn't seem to be too far from the class he is currently learning at. He sighed, feeling a bit of relief from getting away from the girls before he got stuck on some kind of conversation he didn't want to be in. Well...That went alright...I guess. He hasn't been...very social to other individuals that weren't his parents or his servants. Of course no one at his old school would speak to him or avoid him because of his attitude back in the past. He always ignored people who weren't rich as him because they weren't worth the time, at least that's what his parents made him believe in. But now seeing his parents in a new light, it was time to start breaking those old habits.
Finally ready to call it a day, Hidemi went back to the locker to get dressed into his normal uniform attire and grab his backpack from it. Taking out the brochure where the map is, he tried to find the location of the dorm rooms form where he currently is at, after tracing a line from his current location to the dorm room in his mind, he put the brochure back in his backpack and left towards the dorms, where his room would be waiting. As he got to the lobby, he noticed a few others sitting there talking to other, not wanting to bother them, Hidemi goes up the stairs as he looks for his name, at the third floor, Hidemi finds his room and enters it.
Location: Hidemi's Room
Date: April 7th
After a rather eventful day at his first day of U.A, Hidemi was about to hit the sheets and get some rest for tomorrow, but he still had something he had to do first before getting his long rest, he still needed to plan out his daily schedule for school for after class ends, this includes socializing, training his quirk, tea time, whatever else he can think of at the time. Hidemi looked around and observed his new sleeping chambers for the next four years. There was a cabinet with all kinds of tea cups and flavors of his collection of teabags that he usually drinks. He became rather addicted to it after Jiro had him try some one day, even teaching him how to make tea when he needs it. With the amount of different kinds of teabags he had store up in his cabinet, he wouldn't mind sharing some of his tea to the others if they asked him on his good day. His queen size bed that his parents sent for him was nicely assigned to the back wall with very elegant decorations assigned to them. Everything else in the room was designed like it was made to fit a king.
Hidemi spent the rest of the day doing various activities in his room, including reading a book, planning out his schedule for the school day, and thinking about his future. He also tried to consume the gifts given to him by his fellow classmates in the infirmary, and of course, he didn't like it, but he wasn't going to throw it away, like his parents would tell him to do if he doesn't like what he was eating or drinking. Why waste food when it can be consumed? If he's going to live in this school, he's gonna need to get used to the cafeteria food one way or another. He spent the rest of his day resting up, tomorrow will probably be the evaluations of the test that was done today and he'll want to be ready when that time comes.
Kazuo smiled and nodded, confirming his name for Eli, good thing it seemed he did a good job remembering his classmates name as well, otherwise this could have been majorly awkward. He smirked listening to the idea that Eli didn’t get to use his quirk often. “Yeah, some of the laws can be a bit annoying to abide by,” he said with a slight shake of his head. He knew all too well just how annoying that could be. “It gets more annoying when it isn’t something you can exactly turn off, right?” He asked given his ability was constantly active, even if it posed no outward change.
The boy was shocked for a moment though when Wolf’s head emerged. He chuckled though, soon after gaining his composure, as the shadowy creature spoke. “You’re gonna take a little getting used to big guy,” he said before laughing at the ethereal being’s comments regarding his host. “Well, I’m sure he’ll be fine. Got the whole 'tall, dark, and handsome' thing going for him. So, they’ll more than likely come to him long before he has to go to them.” Kazuo grinned and gave Eli’s shoulder a little love tap. “And if you need another wingman, or sparring…” he paused, his attention being drawn to Eisuke and Kaori as they came to introduce themselves.
“No worries man,” He stood up and hopped over the couch before continuing, “I’m Kazuo, this is Eli, and that there’s Wolf.” He pointed to himself, then Eli, and Wolf, before noticing Kaori really. “Ooooh hey I remember you. You’re the little White Mage who was talking up my girl, Chew Toy.” Kazuo pat Kaori on the shoulder giving it a small squeeze. “You’re a cute little charmer, I’ll give you that. But I think it’ll take a little more boldness if you’re lookin to get closer to her.” He teased Kaori, giving Eisuke a little wink and a nod to see if he’d play along with him.
U.A University Class 1-A Dorm Kitchen
Night Time
Mentions: None
Akane was grateful that Kazuo walked her to the dorms. She always appreciated his company. During times of stress and frustration, or even pain, it went a long way. The wolf-girl spent some time in her dorm, resting and icing up her tail like the nurse told her to. She also chewed up one of the leaves. It tasted dry and bitter-- she had to go and drink a can of soda to wash down the taste. Bleh! I rather eat shit! But, they did make her feel better, so much so that Akane was able to leave her dorm an hour later. Maybe she could look around the dorms and check out the recreational room. She walked down the flights of stairs, her tail stiffly hanging out behind her so she wouldn’t move it abruptly. She glanced around the recreational room, taking it all in. Wow, they sure put in a lot of effort to make them feel comfortable. She noticed someone there. It was the blond boy that asked her too many questions earlier in the day.
“Hey,” she greeted half-heartedly. The leaves were making her a little groggy.
“Oh, how’s it going Akane,” Allo looked up from his glass of water at the somewhat bar stool designed chair. Kind of odd to have such an adult styled kitchen for a bunch of teen’s, but he wasn’t about to argue the minor details. His attention had been on his last conversation with Asuga. Yet now Akane the most unlikely to appear out of the blue was in full sight.
“Hopefully your tail feeling better,” he asked a bit concerned, but not wanting to impose seeing how last time had ended. He did offer her a seat across from him though as he was in the process of making a sandwich.
“Might not be as good as a store bought meat bun with a apple tea, but I do make a mean meat king sandwich,” he joked as he literally had quite a few meats, and cheeses laid out. Clearly he had a bit of a culinary knack as everything was cut from more solid pieces into thin slices.
“So transformation. Pretty kick ass a quirk,” Allo brought up as he started to put together the puzzle pieces of his masterpiece. The blonde kept his ears open to her as he walked over to the fridge.
“Super strength, high cutting nails, perfect balance of structure to the point I bet you could give Koza a good track partner,”he said as if to hype her up. Bringing over a few select seasoning, and condiments he laid them out turning to her.
“You allergic to anything,” he asked before grabbing a soda, and impressively just ripping off the lid causing a few unnatural sparks between Allo’s fingers, and the cap if Akane was paying attention. More importantly whatever he was making in large supplies was starting to smell damn good to a salivating level.
“Hey Eli if your still out there you should join us for dinner,” Allo called out as he motioned back to Akane.
“So what’s your biggest accomplishment wild child,” he chuckled before sitting down finishing the sandwiches he was making yet clearly intrigued by whatever the wolf girl had to say.
It looked like the boy was doing his homework. Akane wasn’t a fan of it, to be honest, but she had to hand it to him-- he knew what he was talking about. “I’m not allergic to anything. To be honest I’m not even that hungry,” she explained, walking closer to him. Her ears twitched softly. Even the food smelled good. But the bad aftertaste in her mouth cut off her appetite. Her eyebrows quirked when he even called her “wild child”. Wild child? What? Seriously? Her tail flicked in annoyance, trying her best to swallow her budding annoyance.
“Biggest accomplishment? Getting into UA,” she answered him as she averted her look. “I haven’t really done anything other than that. Other than winning a spelling bee that one time.”
“...Sorry wasn’t meaning to offend I suck at the joke department,” Allo responded quickly noting her agitation via her tail. Her ear twitch, however, gave him a guess on why someone who had just thrown a wrecking ball wasn’t hungry. She did however earn a small genuine laugh that he quickly swallowed not wanting to impose any further hostilities of his canine friend.
“But if you will grant me a second attempt I bet iI could at least help get that terrible medical taste out of your mouth… though you might have to “chew” me out on this,” he joked as he offered her some rather popular gum to literally chew. As he adjusted himself back into a relaxed position.
“Ya this is a rather extreme accomplishment for all of us isn’t it,” Allo responded.
Akane pouted almost childishly at Allo’s response. At least he said sorry. And he was offering her gum! One of her favorite kinds, even. Maybe that would get rid of the bad taste that hadn’t been washed away by the soda. She reached out toward his hand, taking the gum from him. “Thanks,” she mumbled before popping it in her mouth. She chewed slowly, appreciating the fresh taste of fruit that blossomed in her mouth.
“You got that right. I really wanted to get into UA. My quirk doesn’t really suit any other type of career. I can’t type a hundred words a minute with these types of hands, and teaching little kids isn’t really my forte either. I mean, look at me.”
“There is nothing wrong with what I see,” Allo honestly spoke as she requested he looked at her in full view.
“Your someone who wants to protect people right,” Allo asked as he finished up one of the sandwiches for a moment walking away from Akane before coming right back to her with a freshly cleaned plate sporting what he had advertised the “king of meat sandwiches” it had everything on it that had been sliced on the table with cheese placed in equally spaced parts.
“Your an aspiring hero at the world’s foremost hero training university so looking at you all I can say is that I see one of the elite, and most potential starting heroes. Just like me you earned this. I think you need to give yourself some more credit,” he smiled handing her the plate as he continued to the table setting up a spot for her like a gentleman offering her to take the seat before he could continue with everyone else’s plates.
“So tell me doesn’t sound like your pretty important regardless how you look?”
Akane was surprised to see that Allo made her a sandwich despite her saying she wasn’t hungry. She opened her mouth to say something, but decided not to. It was obvious the boy was just trying to be nice. To be honest, it was kind of making her anxious. Everyone was treating each other with politeness and respect. Weren’t they all competition anyway? She nodded her head in thanks, choosing to sit in the place he provided. She didn’t take a bite of the sandwich, instead deciding to chew haphazardly on the gum. At least the sandwich would be a good bedtime snack.
“I want to be a hero because I don’t want to be a villain. All throughout school I used to be the villain on the playground ‘cause I looked so scary,” she told him. “So I applied to UA so I could have a chance at being a hero and make a good name for myself.”
“Your not the only one who has experience that…. Unfortunately... it does happen,” there was a sudden tension strangely unique in aura as Allo who was a bit away from Akane right in front of the sink suddenly without warning was surrounded by the sound of the glass soda bottle shattering in his grip… well that wasn’t expected. Allo took a deep breath seemingly very agitated by the notion of someone being labeled by how they looked, or how their quirk appeared. The true thing of notice, however, was the fact Allo’s hands were unscathed in the process.
“Ugh sorry about that ended up making a mess,” the serious undertone was quickly washed away as Allo’s aggressive frown was turned back into a soft grin. Clearly the blonde had a opinion on that topic of note.
“Anywho how about we steer towards a lighter note,” he chimed as he cleaned up the sink placing down plates of sandwiches for everyone as well as a random salad incase their were any herbivores amongst the group.
“Uhhh… dont tell anyone about that if you don’t mind,” Allo strangely asked as he sat across Akane before simply waiting for any response with nothing else coming out of his chatty mouth… seemed a sore note had been hit.
Akane was surprised to see that Allo was seemingly upset at her explanation, so much so that he had broken a glass soda bottle. “I won’t tell anyone about it,” she told him. She wasn’t one for spreading gossip. Well, not that kind of gossip, anyway. She tapped a clawed finger against the table as she glanced down at the salad that had been left out. Just how much time did this guy have to make all of this stuff? Did he usually cook? “You sure made a lot of food. What if people don’t eat it all?”
“Well then me, and you got a lot of leftovers to enjoy,” Allo chuckled before starting to nom on some of his sandwich.
Eisuke was already aware of Eli considering his sister had mentioned something about a tall, broody, and cute emo boy that walked around with a "shadow fluffer" being rivals with Koza. He wasn't sure if Eli would be familiar with her, or if he knew Koza's other friends. Were Koza and this guy even close enough to discuss their other friends? Eisuke doubted it, but at least it gave him a conversation topic to bring up.
He looked over to Kazuo as he approached Kaori, teasing him about "Chew Toy." It didn't take much thought before Eisuke caught on that he was teasing Kaori about Akane just like the Fukuhara twins had been doing earlier. Seeing the wink as an invitation, Eisuke could only think one thing.
'Can "perfect" Eisuke get away with playful teasing? Absolutely. Will I take this opportunity to tease Kaori some more? Hell yeah I will.'
He patted Kaori's back, "Knowing him, he's already complimented his way to her good side. He definitely has plans ready to charm Miss Akane until she has a blush as dark as his right now." He looked at his friend with a smile. "Isn't that right, Kaori?"
Eli and Kazuo were having a decent conversation honestly. He and Wolf also seemed to be getting along or Wolf was at least tolerating him for a bit to make sure Eli talks to more people. Then though, more faces joined the group. Two other boys. One of them was the boy from the twin set that Kozu knows. Wolf's attitude changed a bit when he came over. Eli would ask him about that later. The other, smaller boy, was the kid that stood with the twins as well in the homeroom. His name was Kaori. Kazuo had hopped up and introduced both himself, Eli, and Wolf before Eli could say anything.
Kazuo began to "tease" the smaller Kaori about being a, chew toy, to someone else. Eli assumed it was the wolf girl from class. This caught Wolf's attention though as he moved his head like a snake towards the small Kaori. Wolf looked him up and down. You would think it would be weird to see just a wolf's head and a long neck coming off the back of Eli and slithering like a snake to the small boy but, no one really looked distraught. Wolf got right into the boys face though, "Well, you are small enough to be a chew toy. At least, for me, you would be." Wolf chuckled a bit at this while staring into the eyes of the boy. Eli hung his head and grabbed the bridge between his eyes. Using some energy, Eli pulled Wolf back into his body. "I'm sorry for Wolf. He can be, intimidating at times. He doesn't really mean any harm." Eli was doing his best to recover from Wolf's comments.
"We are supposed to be intimidating, Eli. We are Alphas."
"I know but come on. Just met the kid and you want to eat him?"
" I didn't say that. I said chew toy."
"ugh..."
The shy boy followed his friend as he introduced both of them to their fellow students, he remembered one of whom was the boy with the grand entrance and the other one...He wasn't too familiar with. "Nice to meet ya Kazuo and Eli.." The boy just now noticed the wolf shadowing over the dark-haired boy's neck. "Please tell me it won't bite me...will it?" Kaori took a short step back so that Eisuke was in front of him.
He was shocked that Kazuo had known his name, let alone noticed his existence, his emotioned changed to embarrassment when the boy mentioned his interaction with Akane. "Wha-What!? I was just trying to talk to people, It's not like that!" As usual, when the boy started to get nervous he began rambling. "Wait is she your girlfriend? Sorry I wasn't flirting or anything like that."
Kaori looked over to Eisuke and started feeling flustered at his comment. "No, I wasn't jerk!" Kaori gave his friend a light punch to his shoulder. "Anyway, can we go back to the wolf? I'm not sure whether I should run or hug him." The boy gave a nervous chuckle when Wolf made a comment about him being able to be his chew toy. "He's not, uh, serious right?" He could feel himself swallow a bit of air with the animal's response. "I might stand over here for a little bit." Kaori took a step back so he was a couple of feet away from Wolf. "Um anyway, you guys were awesome at the gym! Sounds like the school found their very best students!" Even after this late, the boy did realize that Kazuo called him a white mage, but also cute, which made the boy blush a little bit.
Kazuo couldn’t contain the gleeful grin that spread across his face at the turn of events. Eisuke had joined in a bit, Kaori was getting fairly flustered, and even Eli and Wolf joined in on the conversation. He had half expected this to all go sour, but he was more than happy with the results. Still, he didn’t wanna torture the kid too much. What if he came to resent him before they could actually become friends?
“Relax a bit dude,” he said as he patted Kaori on the shoulder. “I’m sure the big bad wolf here’s not looking to chow down on you anytime soon.” He didn’t seem very convincing on that as he motioned towards Wolf. Of course, that was because Kazuo had no way of ensuring that. “Although, if he does try to, I’ll help ya out. Can’t have anything happening to the white mage, am I right?” He playfully slugged the shoulder he’d been patting, amazingly light for someone the boy had seen handle the weight of two small cars earlier that same day.
“Oh, and Chew Toy’s not my girlfriend. I just know her from way back.” He felt the need to clarify to the young man, so as to avoid freaking him out anymore than he had. “Although, if that worries you, maybe I was right about you trying to possibly wanting to feel up more than the tail and ears,” Kazuo laughed as he began to walk away from the group. “Anyway, I’m gonna go chill. Don’t be afraid to knock if ya need something guys.”
With that, Kazuo made his way to the kitchen. He’d planned to make himself something to eat, but it seemed that somebody already had. In fact, the culprit was there, having a little talk with Akane. “Glad to see your wittle boo-boos better, Chew Toy,” Kazuo teased his friend before waving to Allo. It seemed there was food to spare, so he grabbed himself a bite.
“My compliments to the chef.” It wasn’t anything huge, but it got the job done. Still, Kazuo wasn’t intent on staying all that long to chat. He nodded at the blonde haired dude. “I’m gonna assume this was you,” he smiled, “mostly cause ol’ Chew Toy isn’t all that keen on doing stuff like this.” He said as he gave Allo a pat on the back. “Anyway, I hate to eat and run, but I’m kinda tired. Feel free to drop by if you want to talk or need something.” And with that, Kazuo returned to his room.
>> April 8th - Classroom 1-A <<
Interacting with: Everyone. Not even gonna tag y'all.
The classroom was bustling that morning as it had the day before. It was good to see young heroes in training so comfortable and prepared for whatever may come their way. Yoshimoto yawned loudly as he pushed himself out from yet another secret compartment, this time at the back of the classroom. What the hell was this? Did they shifted the trap doors and passageways around? How could one man remember each and every single one?
Silence fell over the room. They had all been tested just a day before. They had been pushed, and hurt; some more than others. And yet, he walked through the class without a care in the world until he reached the podium at the front of the classroom. He turned to face everyone, taking a moment to stretch his arms up high above his head before bringing his hands down on the desk.
“I’m sure each and every one of you is eager to hear the results of your ‘tests’ and find out what grades you’ve gotten for the first day,” he raised his voice almost to a shout suddenly. He fell into silence after that, scanning the room. It was like Yoshimoto’s eyes were peering into the individual souls of every student in the room. At least, that is until he broke character and laughed, waving his hand in front of his face. “Well, forget about grades. I wasn’t giving any out yesterday.” The young man took a breath before continuing, “You can consider yesterday something more like a showcase. Your trials were thought up with the soul purpose of gauging you all on a number of categories.”
Yoshimoto notioned for everyone to remain silent before anyone could call out. “Power, skill, creativity, reflexes, and control were all factors I was aiming to measure while watching you. This isn’t something that can be easily determined on an individual basis with the entrance exams after all.” Another wave of silence fell over the class as Yoshimoto stepped out from behind his desk and cleared his throat. He was much more serious now. His usual lackadaisical demeanor was replaced with a stern gaze.
“Some of you left me pleasantly surprised,” he made sure not to allow his gaze to linger on any one student, “others showed me just how much work we really have to do in order to allow you to aim for the summit where we Pro Heroes stand.”
“Kazuo, you boast incredible power and a potential for limitless growth. But you have no control over your emotions. If all it takes is a little teasing an unexpected events to shake you, you won’t last long.” Yoshimoto flipped a page on a notepad he was suddenly holding in his hand. “I can say the same of you Akane, but the bigger issue was how little you rely on you other senses, and how easily you let your guard down.”
He turned and began to walk. He had more to say. “Takagi, you’re control is admirable and clearly the product of countless hours of training. This can be said of many of you. However, you left yourself in a precarious position. Under different circumstances, no, under these same circumstances you could easily have been killed if just one factor was changed.” He had to admit though, she was most surprising. He expected her to have more trouble.
“Asuga, you destroyed the glass, but the device as well. There was no penalty for it, because this was simply a school activity. But what if it were a vital device? A hostage? Your talent is remarkable, but as it stands, you may be better off going back to selling out concert halls.” He paid no attention to reactions as he continued to pace. “Setsuna, physically you’re lacking. You were exhausted after your climb. Still, it was an impressive display of your control.”
“Eli, though your coordination with Wolf was exceptional when you knew what was coming, you were both thrown off when the situation changed. Seems the wolves have a shared issue with remaining on guard and being prepared for what may come.” He flipped through his notes on Misoka, though left little time to actually get a response from anyone. “Misoka, your lack of care for your body’s wellbeing was worrying. While you did complete your task, there were many better options available to you. This is a notion I’ll come back to later.”
“Eisuke, you seemed quite disappointed with your test,” Yoshimoto chuckled. “Was it too easy for you?” He raised an eyebrow. “I suppose so, though under any other circumstances I might have failed you. You powered the machines, but failed to do so without suffering retaliation on the part of the machine. You took the time to assess, but didn’t look beyond the surface level. This seemed to be a running trend, the reverse occurring when any of you tried to look too deeply into the ‘rules’ of your task.”
“Kaori, something happened after your exam. Apart from being clumsy, which isn’t a big deal, your quirk began to act up and you sought no council. Were this something common for you, I’d have thought nothing of it, but upon reviewing the footage and your reaction, I found that this was clearly out of the ordinary. We will be speaking later.” Yoshimoto narrowed his eyes are the smaller boy. “Chitose, the issue I noticed with you was more of a psychological nature. While I won’t elaborate for your sake right now, understand that this will be something I plan to pursue going further, with the help of your other educators of course.”
“Imma, you took a very straightforward approach towards your task. Use your quirk to get through the layer of clothing. Freeze the target. You used physical contact, a natural assumption. And yet, you could have easily frozen Takagi through another method couldn’t you?” He wasted no time in moving on. “Allo, you thought outside the box, but that can only carry you so far. You also hold great pride in your support items. It was clear to me that controlling the flow of your own energy was something we’d need to spend much more time on.”
“Koza, you eventually managed to complete your task, but throughout your chased there was one thing you didn’t seem you use effectively. That is foresight. The ability to think ahead and anticipate. It seemed almost a foreign act to you. While the control of the cars was sporadic, it was still of a human element. Your growth in the moment was good, but there is still much more we can do to avoid the slow start going forward.”
“Hidemi, you were given a nigh impossible task. Cut through a substance I knew you could not cut through. Your response was to create bigger blades and exert more force, more energy. You did so until your body could no longer handle the stress and you collapsed. You didn’t complete the task, as expected, and left yourself incapacitated,” Yoshimoto paused. He would come back to that. “Ramiris, I gave you all the information you would need. Gave you a suitable defense. And advice on how to proceed. You underestimated the power you were to face. Chose not to use the aid you’d been given. And in the end, chose not to back down. You push yourself far beyond your limit and while you completed your task, you left yourself in terrible condition, also incapacitated no less.”
“You’re both quite tenacious and willing to put it all on the line for the greater good. And yet, neither of you took into consideration the stakes. There was no penalty for failure. No fear of expulsion. Nothing that would warrant your actions. In the heat of battle, putting your all on the line is admirable, but the lack of foresight displayed, not just by your two, but by others as well,” he didn’t rename individuals as he felt it was quite clear, “was frightening. What good will completing a single task be if the hero is left unable to move? You become a burden on those you swear to protect and your comrades alike.”
Yoshimoto finally stopped moving, throwing his notepad onto the podium. “I want you all to understand that the path of a hero is one that does and will always require the ability to find a balance in yourselves, your actions, and the consequences of those actions. I want you to learn to work harder, as well as smarter. I want you to be willing to put everything on the line when needed, but have the wisdom to know when it isn’t.” Perhaps Yoshimoto may have seemed harsh. He was picking apart their flaws, and the issues he’d observed, and in front of each other no less. These individuals were their competition after all. But beyond that, they were fellow heroes-in-training, future friends, siblings, possible allies, and maybe even potentially more.
The hope was that the students would reflect on this, and begin to think about the path they wished to walk going forward. Yoshimoto wanted them to want to learn more about their quirks, their capabilities, and each other. At least, that was the plan in theory. He could only hypothesize as to what would actually come of this. “That being said. I’ll leave you in the capable hands of your next instructor.”
Just like that, Yoshimoto brought his second class to a close. The rest of the day had been a much more commonplace school schedule with which they met their other instructors and were given a better break down of the expectations and learning styles of each, at least in the most basic of manners. The class was left to stew with the message and thoughts of their teacher after homeroom. And just as quickly as it had begun, the day came to a close.
Perhaps this was not the dream start to an aspiring hero’s journey, but one thing was for certain, they had certainly arrived at the starting line. The roads they would take and how they would manage going forward rested on their shoulders and whether or not they could bare the burden was anyone’s guess. Nonetheless, it would not be easy for anyone. Yoshimoto made sure they learned this if nothing else in the days to come as he helped them begin to truly work on understanding and learning more about their quirks and their capabilities, at least theoretically, as all was conjecture from him. His determination was clear, and it was his hope that he could pass that torch to this new generation and help draw out the collective potential of these rising heroes.
Kazuo stood at the gate of school as he waited for the rest of his classmates to arrive. He yawned, looking noticeably more tired than was the usual. He was happy to know that today it seemed like he would have the day off. After roughly three weeks of intense studying, work, and training Yoshimoto had given them a curious task. The boy stood with his back to the gate, leaning against it as he remembered Yoshimoto's words from the day before.
"You've all been working so hard. You deserve a break." Yoshimoto's words rang true indeed. It had been a grueling three weeks. "But I still want you to get something out of this. So, I want you all to take this time to bond a bit. I'm gonna split you up into groups and send you somewhere to hang out." Kazuo could see the man's cheeky grin in his mind.
"Guess sleeping in was out of the question..." The student grumbled. Trying to balance his studies and training with work was becoming more and more difficult. He was already beginning to fall behind on his assignments. But what could he do? He didn't want to let his manager and coworker's down. Besides, he could already see the look on his father's face if he were to quit.
"A man is only as good as his word, Kazuo," Shigeru would say as he lectured him on the importance of following through on agreements and keeping up with one's responsibilities.
Kazuo shook the thoughts from his mind. Who was his group again? Wait... No... Yoshimoto would be arriving to tell them. Right? Ugh, or had they been told prior to the end of class. He couldn't remember at the moment. Guess there was no choice, but to sit around and just wait.
Tatsuya Ito sat calmly as one of his many live-in servants brought him a fresh cup of tea. He waved them away soon after sampling its taste. It was adequate, though he'd had better. Perhaps tomorrow would serve better. The somewhat larger, older man waited for the door to close before speaking. "You should have received instructions to ensure the operation is conducted in as smooth and efficient a manner as possible."
Over the line were two, shall we say, employees with whom he'd become quite accustomed to relying on. It was rare that they would ever fail in completing their tasks. So, rare in fact that one was more likely to find conclusive evidence of the great beyond than he or she was to find evidence of a job ever left undone. This matter was out of the ordinary though. He was enlisting their services not to carry out a personal venture, but rather to aid a gang that had begun to make a name for itself in it's endeavors. He had had the group looked into. There was much to be said about their work, and while curiosity was certainly a factor, he understood that should this group gain more power, and should their product be a worthy venture, he had a lot to gain.
"Still," he paused for a moment to take a reserved sip of his tea before continuing, "Shall review the detail before you two prepare to begin the task at hand?" He asked simply, leaning back in his seat to listen to whichever of the women he was talking to to give him a run down of the plan at hand. Their role in working with the gang as per his orders and so on.
Misoka Yamasaki
April 8th - Classroom 1-A
Listening to the instructors speech she felt a bit downcast at the mention of better ways. Her mother had often said the same, but even then she didn't understand.
"Hey! What do you mean by that!?"
Calling out to Yoshimoto he just keeps on going down the line, saying right before that he would come back to the notion, he never did.. Maybe it would be later? She hoped he wasn't one of those, you gotta learn it for yourself types. Either way the next several days would pass as they always have, the basic instructions to break them in.. With time maybe she would get those answers and while it wasn't all that enlightening the following days of training would be intense with her hijinks serving as a little bit of fun, also she and the others were able to have that small trip at least.
Interacting with: ALL VARIOUS
Gathering at the front gate Misoka was a bit surprised to hear the day before that they would be going on a trip, though a small group trip, or each group elsewhere. First to the gate with her and it seemed with the rest soon to pile in, the girl smirks a bit looking at her classmate Kazuo in turn with raised hands.
"Yoshimoto Sensei isn't seeing us off?"
Before he or anyone else could answer however a man in green hair and what looked like a police or Army Uniform, stark black, with a clipped Martial step to him, Misoka had to think for a bit who he was.. she had never seen him in the hero classes but he was on hand when Allo was going off to make something another, when the hero suits were being fitted, he also spent a lot of time in the tech room and in the computer office, well security office, she was never too sure on that.
Either way the mystery of who he was, well he was going to solve it himself, plus answer her previous question.
"Greetings Ladies and Gentlemen, I am Kawakura Hayate, or the Pro Hero Captain Hardwire if you prefer. Yoshimoto-san may or may not be joining up with you soon, however I was tasked with planning out your activities. We very well cannot have you running free, you might not return."
Laughing politely at that, it was then that Misoka took notice to the fact that the man had some sort of robot or another following him on wheels with a holographic display projector fitted to the top.
"Today a number of schools are engaged in festives and merry making... And while I am sure it may be to audible sighs and disappointing yells, your visits will be in part educational or at the least confined, don't lose hope just yet, we have done the upmost to insure these places would be entertaining as well.. While we would normally allow you all to choose, or even take you all to one place, the following itinerary has been arranged;"
Holding up his left hand and snapping a finger, the machine stops in it's traits firing up it's projector.
"The first group shall be going to the Tokyo Bay Imperial Aquarium, the following Students will be going here, Ramiris, Hidemi, Koza, Setsuna, and Asuga, you all will be going there to take part in a guided tour, it is among the largest Aquariums in the world, to give you more information, I have a special guest with us today."
@Childish Grumpino @Thaleko @EternalInfinity @Quake @Novuskai
Misoka curious as to who he meant and a little bummed she wasn't going to get to see all the fishes looks on. First however the projector fired up, showing a distant image of a huge building on a low lying island facing out to sea, a mostly peaceful scene with fish jumping time to time or birds flying into frame briefly.
And then suddenly a ghostly looking woman and a tank behind her with an overwhelmingly large number of fish, dolphins, jellyfish and sea turtles.
"Greetings, Hero Class students, I am, Neptunia, Central Computer AI of the Facility, I handle consultations, holographic tours and aid in monitoring the exhibits and tanks. We currently house over two hundred specimen types and our primary attractions consist of a large ocean tank as you can see behind me, underground tunnel tanks, dolphin performance show and in partnership with Tokyo University a state of the art medical ward and Sealab. In addition we have a underwater lab and elevator that has public access to allow visitors to gaze out at the Coral habitats and whale sanctuary. Also please visit the gift shop and enjoy our dining facilities."
To show it was not just a recording, the AI smiles a little with a wave, making eye contact as it's projection flickers briefly.
"I do look forward to meeting you all one day however, though ah, there are some parts of the facility that will be off limits and I will be giving you a tour, as part of your Hero training the site Administration has given approval for you to help out animal caretakers and human staff with a few simple tasks as we do your tour. Oh yes on that note, you'll also get to see a few exhibits not open to the public, but please I ask you not to touch anything. See you soon."
With that she flickers out as the man in black moves along to the next item on the list.
"How delightful, a bit of labor never hurt anyone and it may be a once in a lifetime opportunity, plus you'll be getting fed for free.. but ah, any gifts bought will come from your own allowances. Moving on, next on the list is five of you going to Akihabara to the Senjokuhara Mall; Kazuo, Allo, Chitose, Misoka, and Takagi. A number of schools are holding a tour there now, mostly Elementary school students in addition to the normal guests. Given your skills with children or lack their off, you five have been tasked with helping the facility of the place as needed, mind you nothing too serious."
He says quickly in case the kids think they were being worked for their break.
@Demon Shinobi @EmperorsChosen @Jessica2477 @Azurian Dream
"You'll be given staff armbands and tasked with just helping lost children or answering questions about the UA, some pros will be in the area possibly.. In addition you all will be given a employee discount and are allowed to shop or hang out as you see fit. The purpose of this is to gauge your public reactions and to encourage new ones."
Pulling up the next holoprojection a building was shown that was what one could expect of a megamall in the middle of a Tokyo district;
Followed by a woman with a book, it was hard to tell if she was a school girl or a worker, fortunately from her speaking up, it seemed she was indeed human.
"Ah, hi there all of you, I need to get back to work, name is Yoko Samatomi, I'm ahh.. I guess the book keeper for the mall, my Quirk is being able to store a perfect copy of any book I've read to recall when needed.. Either way I use this ba-- Ah, sorry! Yeah I've been given the task of giving you all VIP visitor passes, like the Copper there said, you all will get employee perks, access to breakrooms, discounts and stuff.. So many people are here we just need a helping hand. We aren't asking you to work exactly, just be useful to any lost kids or the elderly while you are here, trust me, kids tend to get lost or easily bored here.. Either way feel free to use all the shops, oh yeah! We can't sell alcohol to any of you, but yeah, see you around, I got work to do."
With that the woman kills the feed from her side, burying her face back into her book as she walks on, seemingly not even watching where she was going.
"Well.. Yes;" Being cut off in such an Awkward fashion, Hayate coughs into his sleeve before continuing.
"And last but not least, Akane, Eli, Eisuke, Imma, and Kaori, you all will be going to the Capital Center of the Performing Arts... I personally just call it The Theater, The, because it is something of a big deal. An old European style mansion that was converted into an art gallery, concert venue, opera house and performance stages by the former owner and given to the Japanese Government. It is a place where high society can often rub elbows with the more common man. It has a dining area and the two wings stretch off to larger performance venues and the backyard has an outdoor stage. The performances and venues in this place are fairly impressive and wide ranging, from traditional Kabuki, Shakespearian, to Opera and Metal.. For your break we have secured you a pass to attend any show as you see fit and a schedule shall be given to you upon arrival, a reservation has been made, however there is a stipulation.. You must attend at least three programs marked as educational, the rest of the day is yours to do as you see fit."
@Luminosity @Jessica2477 @MrStoryTeller @Azurian Dream @Mr.Scales ⚖
Keying up the projector the main entry was shown as the man clears his throat again, triggering the next.
179072
179073
"Please be on good behavior, this is partly to teach some of you how..let us say more prone to investing members of Japanese Society live in some of the venues. Food will also be provided to your for free from any of the various eating areas.
That being said to you all, the little bits we ask you to do should not be seen too unkindly, you'll be given this months allowance today, use it wisely.. Also do Remember while not yet pro's you are representatives of the UA. Do have fun and hold your heads high my Comrades, your rides will be here soon. Also there is no need for questions, use rational judgement and behave as you would in public."
With that the man turns the holoprojector off, hands behind his back as he waits to see if any of his fellow instructors would show up, as Misoka raises a hand, to ask a question.
"Can we wear our hero costumes or just casual clothes?"
Reflecting on it, this was a reasonable question.. well sorta.
"Unless your homeroom teacher says otherwise, school jersey, casual or semi formal wear should all be fine.. I would leave the costumes unless told differently."
???-???
April 28th Unknown Location - Tokyo, Japan
Two figures joined the large man at the table, passing through the door as he spoke, each sitting across from the other, given what they both did and how the acted it was almost like sitting Yin and Yang across from one another.. Though in this case the one thing both had in common was that they were beautiful women by anyone's measure, one gave off an aura of murderous intent and the other that of the down on your luck, seen it all, sort of person. Was it by design or chance? It was difficult to say.
The later was first to speak in response to the boss.
"Ah, yeah, that would be a good idea, planning and all that. But come on, let's just fly by the seat of our pants! Long ago we reached the point where we should have stopped, but lets keep going, see where it takes us!"
With that the woman extends out one of four arms to another server, getting a glass placed in her hand with a few ice cubes and a generous pour of whiskey.
"Plus mister Bossman, I think these drug dogs, failed or succeed they'll become a pretty big focus huh?" Smiling with a hint of mischief to her face, the woman knew she was beautiful, minus one slight imperfection that had cost her an eye.
Mumbling something in Russian to start with, the other woman was next to speak up, minus the feeling she gave off, the woman was fairly busty and had almost flawless skin as far as women went, wearing plaid and a button up shirt she in terms of appearance looked the most out of place.. But in terms of presence, there was something unnerving about being around the woman, that seemed to announce that she was the Hunter in the room. Not given to failing she had cut an often bloody swath across the world, or a part of it. If the other had the man's ear and trust, she had his coin for not failing to do her tasks. So long as her tastes were sated and she was paid, she would stay.
Speaking in almost perfect Japanese that had a heavy Ainu accent from the north, she accepts a cup of tea, takes a sip and immediately throws it back at the server.
"If only these people knew how to make tea.. Hey, you, you should learn to do better, hey, are you listening? Hey!"
With that the server yelps and quickly says sorry, accepting the near boiling hot liquid seeping through his clothing.
"Hey, go clean yourself, before you end up on the morticians shelf."
With that she faces the four armed woman and smiles widely. "Hey.. You should plan better yeah? One day you might lose an arm you know, Tetra, so close to Tarantula but so far off.. Hey, your arms don't regrow you know? if they did it would make a good food source. Fear not Mister Ito, a cake walk like this, my other Russian friend is on hand to help, the items we want till be gained..though why don't we kill that blue one, huh take it for ourselves."
Scoffing a bit the four armed woman, known as Tetra stares at the other and names her in kind.
"Why if you weren't such a lovely lady yourself who keeps such high standards, I would think you were some sort of murderous savage, Ayai. Also where is Sayana? I would think she would be following at your coat tails, also aren't you a getting a little too old? Your age won't last forever..why not finally become a housewife to someone?"
Glaring at her counterpart, the woman chuckles lightly before reaching into a bag she brought with her, laying it on the table.
"Hey, you know that's a good point, I should get married. Yet talking like so, you may be the one in need of getting harried."
Opening it a dish of Ainu origin was set out, minced meat of some sort, cooked with a light singe and served with diced potatoes, mushrooms, dumplings and sour cream.
"Hey, you know Sayana, she doesn't have the attention span for these meetings, or anything not tech centric.. Have some bear, I prepared it by hand, hunted it down and tenderized it in the mountains with my fists.. I brought enough for us all.."
Grunting a bit, the four arms shrugs, it was a meeting but a light meal never hurt to have during a meeting. "You know if not for the fact you beat the bear to death, between your cooking and chest, you would have no problem finding a rich suitor and leaving this all behind.."
What was to follow would be a somewhat tense meeting with a little back and forth between the two women as they listened to whatever the boss had to say, offering him a plate of fresh cooked bear...where it had came from was likely better left unknown.
The past three weeks for Koza had been tough. Sensei’s criticism of his first day had been something he had deeply taken to heart. Koza was a sensitive boy, sometimes too much, but he also knew that Yoshimoto Sensei meant well and was only telling him the truth. He had a lot to learn, and so the young boy had done all he could to learn these past weeks, spending very little time socializing with his friends and instead training alone or picking up a book to study. In his rush to learn and train, Koza hadn’t visited home either. He knew all that would await him at home was his mother, ready to berate him and his life choices. It was a sore subject for him, and he couldn’t help feel bitter thinking about it. As such, it was with an exhausted spirit and body Koza approached the rest of the students that morning, half-empty thermos in one hand and a worn textbook in the other. The dark shadows under his eyes spoke to his exhaustion, but he did his best to smile and look presentable.
“Morning guys,” he waved weakly as he joined the students and waited for their teacher. He didn’t have to wait long. A green haired stranger in unusual attire appeared, introducing himself as Captain Hardwire. It’s going to be a day, Koza thought to himself as he studied the pro hero intently and listened to his instructions. An aquarium? Cool! Koza found himself grow excited at the thought. The last time he had been to an aquarium was when he was a child. It would be exciting to revisit it, even if it was to work and help out the staff as the AI had explained. Taking a sip of his coffee and doing the best he could to wake himself up, Koza shuffled over to his group, smiling at them cheerily.
“Guess we’re a team today, huh? Let’s do our best!”
