RIP Wes Craven

Last night Wes Craven passed away from brain cancer. This saddens me because I love Nightmare On Elm Street and I think Freddy Krueger is the best horror villain of all time. I also highly enjoyed Scream. Why must we continue to lose such talented people this year?

Or DID he die of brain cancer. I have watched Wes Craven's New Nightmare which is about how Krueger is actually real in the sense that he's some kind of evil dream force that kills people and is going after the actress from the first movie and her son and there's the scene where she goes and visits actual Wes Craven and he talks about dreams and storytelling and Freddy has been made real.
