However, our main attraction of the night will be the formal declaration of Princess Amelia Antionette Leauve and Prince Edwin Alexander Leauve's eligibility for marriage! The prince and princess have turned sixteen years of age, and the king and queen seek suitable bachelors and bachelorettes of fine background to wed the young royals.

Perhaps you shall be the one to win the hand of our beloved princess, or capture the heart of our valiant prince...?

Hello everyone! I've got a fine roleplay that I think everyone will enjoy!

As mentioned in the invitation, this is a ball centered around the idea of winning the hands of Princess Amelia and Prince Edwin (both played by me). But that mean you HAVE to try and win their hearts? Hell no! Do you have to be a noble? Pfft, no. Be of nobility, or be a humble servant, in attendance only because of duty, but most importantly, have fun! Perhaps tonight you'll find true love...?

Rules!

Now everyone should know these by now, but I'll go over it again for fun's sake, and to add in a few things of my own!

1. No godmoding or powerplaying. Come on now, people.

2. No sex. We can get a bit touchy feely here and there, but any smut you're thinking about can stick to pms, thank you. This is a place for everyone to play around in.

3. "Can I do MxM/FxF here?" Why the hell not? The prince and princess aren't picky, so why should you be? :P

4. Drama is wonderful! In the plot. Try not to fight or I'll have to boot you out. ):

5. Have fun! :D Just be sure to fill out the correct character sheet and we'll get this show on the road, shall we?

Royalty: Sophia Louise Weiss -played by Haruka-
a fairly large kingdom located north of Illiend.Half of the kingdom is covered in a clean white coat of snow,while the other half is a rainbow of flowerbeds.The kingdom is known for its tall ice palace,a.k.a the kingdom's main castle,and its eternal winter on the other half of the kingdom.

Noban
Royalty: Ranir Bervezli Aestolij
In the country of sand, a land that goes by the name of Noban is ruled by a bloodline so ancient they were believed to have been born from the sand itself. Rich in the art of foreign trade, oil reserves, and the superior craftsmanship of valuable minerals into jewelry, decoratives, and clothing, it could be said that the kingdom is rather well off. The city is set within walls stretching tall and far all around, encircling like an embrace that protect its denizens from the harsh weather they often received and of attacks.

Tralindale is a very large kingdom which specializes in growing both regular produce but also magical produce. Tralindale ships produce to any kingdom and believes in sharing in their wealth and happiness. They are a very magical community that praises the arts and beauty. They believe in having everything aesthetically pleasing and lovely to the eyes.

Royalty: Prince Hreza Birai'man

Nagali Kingdom in the Swamp Regions
The Nagali Kingdom is located in the murkiest, swampy regions of the land.
The people their are generally close knit and don't
take well to outsiders. They aren't openly hostile,
they just don't warm up to others easily. However the Nagali Royals
are working to mend this, by sending one of their own (Andrezja!)
to hopefully find and wed a partner at this ball.

Baladd
Royalty: Princess Yevgeniya Skopin-Shuisky
Far, far away in the north of Illiend, past Xirillia and even the Grand River of the Maine, lays the tiny kingdom of Baladd, empire of pure ice and snow. While the famous Xirillia is bound to beauty with its splendid architecture and flowers beds, Baladd's endless winter is rougher, harsher, a Zero Degree Living Hell some people say, which condemn the country to a poor population. Specialized in weaponry, logging and fishing, the people of Baladd are in constant war for control over the territory, may it be with the local tribes or the ice monsters, but remain in fairly good terms with the other kingdoms due to their political and commercial relationship.

Syphas
Royalty: May De'Beaumont amd Evan De'beaumont
Syphas is located near the grasslands. The kingdom is large and summertime is the best time to visit. Syphas is brimming with gardens and fields, warm weather and clear skies.
Syphas' main trade source would be fine silks and fruits and vegetables.​

Status: Princess

Age: 16

Species: Human

Sexuality: Pansexual. She just wants some love.

Personality: Amelia is a reserved girl, but don't think she's just a delicate little wallflower. She's hot-headed at heart, and has quite a temper at that, so try not to get on her bad side if you can help it. When she's calm, however, Amelia is a gentle soul, who prefers reading a book and lounging with her pets rather than talking to people. The only real issue she has with the idea of possible ascension to the throne. She's still pretty ambitious, though, so one shouldn't expect a trivial matter like that to get her down. Amelia believes herself much more capable that her twin when it comes to politics, so those seeking her hand may see themselves standing beside a future queen.

Sexuality: Bisexual. He's mostly interested in the ladies, but he won't turn down a fine young man with something interesting to say

Personality: A relaxed young man, Edwin is a lot more apprehensive about settling down than his sister. He sees himself still living life to its fullest for the next ten years, not entertaining a potential mate. As such, he's known more for skipping out on his classes, duties, and just about everything else that a prince is supposed to be doing. Instead, Edwin is a man of the town - more often than not, this prince can be found roaming the streets and getting to know the people of his country. He finds talking to those outside of his status far more interesting than politics, though one might say his habits might make him the prime option for king. But that would take someone who knows how to reign in his free-wheeling lifestyle, and get the relaxed party-boy to stop and face the facts. That is, if he doesn't find someone akin to his own interests, first.

Personality: Louise is a kind-hearted girl who keeps an open hand for everyone her family rules over on.She is calm and sweet in both her actions and words,though sometimes she can be naive.Louise likes seeing new things and places,probably because she only stayed in Xyrillia and never traveled to any other neighboring kingdoms.At first,she might seem a bit shy and might even be a bit clumsy,but that's just her being nervous around new people.But slowly,she'll probably warm up to anyone.

Likes: There are few cues to tell whether something pleases Ranir or not. A fellow who'd prefer not voicing his opinions but rather goes with what the opposing party assumes makes his life that much easier. If he were to say, though, the occasional solitude where he does not need to put up with idiocy would be nice.
Dislikes: Simple- Ignorance. Many things he can at best tolerate, however, the turning of a blind eye infuriates him.

Hobbies: As the prince of the golden desert, he takes pride in the few exotic merchandise he trades for to add to his personal collection. He views rarity as a symbol of self-worth.
Habits: Being as busy as things can get around him, it isn't uncommon for servants and other nobility to find him asleep in the strangest of places.

Fears: Having grown up handling less than normal items and creatures, he has no traumatic fear to things of the physical nature themselves, but rather of those which cannot be touched. For example, dreams. As often as he can be seen sleeping, it is by no means an enjoyable pastime for him.
Weaknesses: What is it that people say about the common noble? Intelligence over brawn? Yes, Ranir could be said to be so... Or can he? After all, are those muscles we see under those sleeves?

A man who bends the meanings of words of accusation, he takes it upon himself to keep a clean neutral reputation. It is not often one finds his services unreliable- frankly, it has almost never happened. Once upon a time, however, he may have made a few slip ups or so.

["Sometimes, it almost seems like you don't even care."

"Is that how you see it? Hmm..."]

Neither affirming nor denying such comments, Ranir simply goes along with what others assume his character to be. If they say he is an apathetic monster, he will become that beast for them. If they say he is a charismatic laid-back friend, he'll ghost a smile for them. It may sometimes even seem like he has no personality of his own but rather reflects the images those around him has in mind.

"Yes, ma'am. As far as I know, I am the only Ranir in existence."]

No, that was not him cracking a joke. In actuality, that was him giving as serious a response as informing a child his sister was abducted and traded off as a slave by hunters. He is unable to read between context and takes every word literally. Ranir is a genuine lost cause when it comes to metaphors, sarcasm, and flirting.[/hr][/hr]

  • Aurelia is untamed, saucy, a little over the top, and wild. She doesn't really have a moral compass. She does what she wants but the kicker is half of the time she doesn't realize she is "acting out of line". Yes, sometimes she does mean to tease or be out of control but sometimes she honestly doesn't realize that her actions and words are "not princess behavior".
  • Aurelia is also very dedicated. Give her a task and she will do it with all her heart and passion.
  • Aurelia has a very little attention span when she isn't up to something or doing something for someone. She likes to keep busy and if she isn't busy she just kind of bounces all over the place. She can be talking about one thing and change to another subject in seconds. She may seem like she is taking a part of your conversation, but give it a minute and she will start to talk about something completely unrelated to the subject.
  • Aurelia always does something with her hands. Either playing with her hair, folding her fingers, randomly moving them, or touching people. It's an abnormal quirk that she probably has because of her little attention span. She also likes the comfort of knowing that if she can touch things then she still exists. (Do I sense character development here?)

  • Since she is a fair she does have fairy wings. The main red ruby around her neck in her appearance photo is a special gem that she never takes off. Using this gem she can control whether or not her wings are visible. When she wants to fly or have a magical look to her she can easily pull out her wings. But when she doesn't want her wings to be showing her necklace "absorbs" them.

Personality: Lazy, tends to doze of if not interested in conversation. Likes to work at the stables, because it's easy to hide in the hay and take a quick nap, or have a little snack. Likes animals, and they usually get used to him after a while as well, despite his diet. He hasn't ever drank from humans, or other human like creatures. Easy to get friends with even if a bit quiet at times. Has a good memory and tends to notice random things because he can't focus for too long. Carefree.

Employment history: Started working at the Tralindale stables when he was twelve. He quickly go used to the work and learned to handle horses well, so he was taken with princess Aurelia's retinue to make sure the horses stay in good shape. Hopes to marry to nobility, doesn't really care where, so he could just laze around without actually doing anything. Finds princess Aurelia too bouncy for him to bother, not that he would had actually even seen her close, but why bother when rumors exist.

Nonetheless, Yevgeniya may seem snobby, look down on people and be very needy, but she wasn't born in immense luxury - thanks to her kingdom's ways - which highly contributed to soften the edges of her personality. Behind this spoiled princess facade, there is a mature, down-to-earth and witty heiress.

Yevgeniya comes from a society where the law is simple: to either survive or die. And as a royalty, she must not solely take her life in consideration, she must ensure her entire nation's survival, hence the reason why no matter your status, you must learn the fine art of hunting in Baladd. For the Skopin-Shuisky 's only daughter, everything in life is either a resource for survival or not; this is her own version of shallowness.

"Snappy" might be the actual fit when it concerns Mistress Yevgeniya. We, indeed, often reproach the lass she gets worked up for the pettiest things such as the color of the new curtains in the 3rd living room. In truth, Yevgeniya simply tends to reply with bitterness without even meaning it, then hurt her interlocutors with defensive sarcasm, which lead us to think she cares. In fact, she doesn't.

Lord Andrezja Birai'man Adviser and Best Friend of the Prince Hreza Birai'man

Age: 21

Species: Phooka
A creature that generally resides in swamps and can take the form of
a dark furred dog, horse, goat, rabbit, human or goblin.
Usually mischievous, Phookas can be quite helpful and can do strenuous amounts of work.
Concerning michief, these Phookas will invite you to ride them (in horse form) take you for a wild ride
and then toss you into the mud.

Sexuality: Omnisexual
Since he is basically both human and animal he pretty much likes them all and every in between.

Personality: Andrezja is quite kind and generally very reserved.
He only partakes in mischief when dealing with the prince or his own kind.
Despite being reserved, for this ball, Andrezja has been ordered by
the Prince Hreza to socialize and try to find a partner because he
"was getting sick of [him] moping around all the time!"

Their also many magic users in the area who use their skills to aid other.

Species: Human

Sexuality: Bisexual

Personality: Hreza is a huge joker and tends to cause more mischief then Andrezja who was born to it. Despite this, Hreza can be quite serious when it comes to politics and issues that involve his land
and people.
When interacting with others outside of his Kingdom, he is quite pleasant and flirtatious. And maybe sometimes he likes to push their buttons, but he just can't help it.
When interacting with Andrezja, it almost seems as though he is the Phooka and Andrezja is the human by the way they act.

Personality: Clara is very free spirited, and once she's gone there really is no getting her back. She is known to be rude to those who insult her or her gender. Considered independent, and does not like the royal status she was born into. But Clara is also very shy and quiet in and at public events.
Kingdom: Syphas. Syphas is located near the grasslands. The kingdom is large and summertime is the best time to visit. Syphas is brimming with gardens and fields, warm weather and clear skies.

Appearance: Long red hair, bubbly and bright green eyes. Clara is tall roughly 5'11" with very long legs. Because if the location of Syphas, she is tanned well.

Aldrin Evan De'Beaumont

Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Personality: Aldrin is a very confident man. He stay within the boundaries of royalty. Well mannered, proper, clean cut, attractive. Everything a future king should be. Very cunning but he is also very aware of others. He understands feelings and views, which also makes him a very suitable king.
Appearance: Short and well trimmed red hair with grey eyes. He is also tall standing 6'4". Long legs and very muscular. Tanned skin just like his sister.
Kingdom: Syphas, same as his sister.
Species: Elven
