To recap in the exact same words: Romance is one of the most roleplayed genres on Iwaku, if it isn't just the most roleplayed genre in general. And given the whole Love Fest that's happening for this month, I think it's safe to say our community loves love.

So, let's take a moment to give some appreciation to our original characters and their significant others. I asked for wnyone interested in participating to grab their roleplay partner/s and the characters they brought together in harmony, or disaster, and put them in the spotlight with this Ship Interview. With the two main ingredients gathered, they answered a list of provided questions.

These ships were not exclusively romantic, but some romantic, others friendly, and some mayhaps fake. All that mattered is that the characters selected have a relationship.
Along with showcasing these interviews, many (all) will be read live by @myself and maybe some surprise guest volunteers. So join us on:
  • Friday. February 21st at 7:30pm CST.
  • Saturday. February 22nd at 2pm CST.
Thank you to everyone that completed an interview! Without further ado, here are the submissions!

1. What were your first impressions of each other?
Raina: "Ha! I thought he was just another muscle head honestly. He puffs out his chest and everything!"
Hunter: "Well I don't hear you complaining when you get to see them." Hunter chuckles and winks at Raina. "Loud and obnoxious but good-looking is what I saw."

2. Who made the first move?
Raina: "Depends if you start counting at the time I asked him out for drinks."
Hunter: "Are you kidding me? I swiped her off her feet. She stood no chance." Hunter brags and puffs his chest out.
Raina: "Never believe a word he says."

3. Who gives better hugs?
Raina: "Hunter by default. I'm not much for hugging, and I'm pretty sure casual touch is his love language, even if he won't admit it."
Hunter: "This is stupid," Hunter scoffs and looks sideways with a pout. "Okay well, maybe I do. Occasionally. Okay, maybe more than occasionally. That's all you're getting!"

4. Who's the better cook?
Raina: "Depends. Do you prefer your food to be edible without a side of burnt?"
Hunter: "Well I…fry some eggs every once in a damn while. But Raina's kitchen's where the party's at! Sometimes with a side of fire. Okay. Most of the time."

5. If you had to describe your love story in emojis only, which ones would you pick?
Raina: 🏋‍♂️🥱🤬😈🍫🔥
Hunter: 😡😤🙄👀🤔😏💦

6. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Raina: "Ha, as if you need to ask. Me of course!"
Hunter: Hunter turns to Raina and cocks his eyebrow. "Say what now? Me and you outside, babe. Let's see what happens."
Raina: "Babe? Really? Now I'm really coming for you."
Hunter: He is visibly excited about the idea, sitting with a grin on his face. "Come and get it, love."

7. How do you handle disagreements?
Raina: "I don't handle disagreements well at all, so terribly."
Hunter: "I walk away. I prefer getting pissed off elsewhere."
Raina: Yeah, giving each other space seems for the best.

8. What's something you want to do as a couple that you haven't yet?
Raina: "Nothing says date night like teaming up to take someone down."
Hunter: "Kick some serious ass together. We're pretty good together, aren't we?"

1. Did you click at first, or did it take time?
Glesni: "To be perfectly honest, she didn't seem to be the person I'd like to know." She sighs. "I admit, with the heaviest of hearts that I may have been wrong."
Raina: "Ha! I'm pretty sure she doesn't like me one bit. I mostly hung out on Land anyway so it wasn't like I was sticking around for it either."
Glesni: "You're not that bad. Sometimes."

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
Glesni: "Bratty, spoiled, and entitled, just like everyone else in this cursed family."
Raina: "A doll. When I was a kid, I was convinced she never had a mind of her own. It was like she allowed everyone to tell her what she thought and she went along with it! Pissed me off to no end."

3. What's the sweetest thing your cousin has ever done for you?
Glesni: "She supported me when it seemed an entire world turned against me. She may be a handful, but she is reliable… And this is going to get into your head now, won't it? Great…"
Raina: "Oh yeah, I'm bragging to the boys about it! I bet that compliment hurt. She thinks I'm reliable. Probably the sweetest thing I'm getting out of her."
Glesni: "It is now…"

4. Do you have any traditions?
Glesni: She thinks for a bit. "Hm. I suppose we bicker a lot? But perhaps we're developing an unhealthy gossip habit as well."
Raina: "Listen, what Caleb and Hunter don't know won't hurt them."
Glesni: She chuckles and winks at Raina in agreement.

5. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Glesni: Clears her throat and responds insecurely. "Not me, surely."
Raina: She gives the camera a look and points her thumb at Glesni.

6. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Glesni: "Our lovely family," she responds quickly with evident sarcasm.
Raina: She just sighs. She doesn't feel the need to comment further.

7. How do you handle disagreements?
Glesni: "All I will say is her shouting range is very impressive. I should really work my way to it."
Raina: "I'm learning it's better to walk away."

8. What's one dream you share for the future?
Glesni: "I think she will agree when I say that we both want our family name to be known and respected for kindness once again. Dacian Carrow's deeds cannot be forgotten and I will see to it."
Raina: "...Yeah. I change my mind. This is the sweetest thing she'd do for me. With me? Whatever."

1. How did you first meet?
Caleb: "In a pleasure house after one of my matches.", turning to look at her with a challenging smirk.
Glesni: Waves her hands around. "That is an oversimplification. I-It was just a random place. But yes. I suppose," she mumbles as her eyes wander. "It… It was in the pleasure house."

2. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Caleb: "It could only go one of two ways really. Either hate each other's guts or fall head first. Took a while to realize which one it was." Chuckles as he thinks on, "I am pretty sure August had a betting pool going on for that."
Glesni: "I know this will get into his head really fast, but you honestly can't expect a girl not to take a look and like what she sees. It's unfair, really," she chuckles with a tinge of blush. "I did try hard for it to be the former but look how that turned out."

3. What were your first impressions of each other?
Glesni: "An idiot. Also surprisingly capable and obviously good-looking, I guess."
Caleb: "A Princess. One that could have fun but put you in your place without being a Sky stuck-up."

4. Who made the first move?
Caleb: "Well, she was taking forever and I decided to bite the bullet. Worst thing that could happen would be to make August sad when he finally lost a bet."
Glesni: "And we really didn't want that to happen, yes? We care about our friend a lot," she winks at Caleb conspiratorially. "As always, it was August's fault," she jests.
Caleb: Shrugs in an effort to appear innocent. "He takes his bets seriously, he does."

5. What's the moment you realized you were in love?
Glesni: "To be honest, I think I've always had a bit of an innocent crush on him, but." She pauses to reminisce. "It was when I realized that he was still there for me no matter what we were going through that I knew I would no longer see him as just a good friend."
Caleb: "I don't think there is an instance where I wouldn't step in for my friends, but the way it felt." pauses to hold Glesni's hand. "Yeah those feelings would not come to the surface if it was August or Raina."
Glesni: She gazes at him fondly and squeezes his hand.

6. Do you have any traditions?
Caleb: "You mean besides teasing each other?", stares in the distance thinking.
Glesni: "Oh, how romantic," she teases. "We also tend to just enjoy each other's company. Even without doing anything in particular. I am perfectly comfortable enjoying the silence with him."

7. Who said "I love you" first?
Glesni: She raises her hand with a smirk. "Guilty. In my defense, it was in the heat of the moment. I didn't really think it through."
Caleb: "And in my defense, I have been told I have the emotional maturity of a peanut. I tend to not say things, but rather think they are obvious based on what I do." Shrugs guiltily.

8. Who's the better cook?
Caleb: "Probably me, but only because of experience."
Glesni: "Cooking isn't something we're encouraged to pick up in the Sky. But I am learning. It's actually quite fun when you have a good teacher," she smirks at Caleb.
Caleb: "I tried learning from the best. We really need to get you to study under Grandma Yilmaz."
Glesni: "Oh, goodie. She will be impressed with the amount of things I don't know."

9. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Glesni: "Oh, the poor guy stands no chance. And he knows it."
Caleb: "Assuming August and Raina don't somehow manage to join the fight? I will be too distracted to properly defend myself." Gives her a teasing once-over. "Yup! Totally hopeless."
Glesni: She chuckles victoriously. "What did I tell you? He isn't even trying to deny the fact."

10. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Caleb: "The aftereffects of the Ovens exploding.", swallows hard.
Glesni: She encourages him by laying her hand on top of his. "It was a hard time for many. But I am glad I was able to help at least one person. Perhaps the one that needed it the most."

11. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
Glesni: "He taught me that being vulnerable with the right people can only work in my favor. I handle other problems with a much calmer mind. And he reminded me who those people were."
Caleb: "Besides stopping me going down a very slippery slope after my Ovens injury? Sometimes tackling issues in a broken-fixed mentality is not the best solution and you have to stop and take a breath to get out of it."

12. What's something you want to do as a couple that you haven't yet?
Caleb: Side eyes Glesni with a wolfish smile, but says nothing. He whistles instead.
Glesni: Turns tomato red while trying to keep her composure. "C-careful what you wish for, O'Neil. You might get more than you've bargained for." She returns a cheeky smirk.
Caleb: "The story of my life and for once I will not complain."

1. Was it friendship at first sight, or did it take time?
August (GC): "Time to get used to, she is an Embryo with the personality coming from Hell."
Raina (GC): "I saw him once and then suddenly I was seeing him all over the place. We got closer over time"

August (Circle): "I honestly don't even remember how it happened."
Raina (Circle): "Ha! As if I have a better memory."

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
Raina (GC): "That he's good at what he does."
August (GC): "She doesn't belong in the Sky."

August (Circle): "I honestly expected her to combust."
Raina (Circle): "I got the impression he wasn't one for remaining still for too long."

3. Who made the first move?
August (GC): "That is hard to say. Raina probably snapped at me first."
Raina (GC): "Eh... do we have to bring up ancient history?"

August (Circle): "Raina, but not out of kindness."
Raina (Circle): "As if I do anything out of kindness."

4. What's the moment you realized you were friends?
Raina (GC): "Hell if I know. At this point he might as well have always been there. Like, yeah logically there was a time where we weren't together, but we've been friends for so long it's irrelevant."
August (GC): "Probably when Caleb and Raina started their weird little rivalry. Could also be when she kept on returning like a cat."

August (Circle): "When she wrote me back."
Raina (Circle): "My first and only Pen-Pal. It felt cool writing letters to someone. Even got secretive at one point just to mess with Kyler. "

5. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
August (GC): He thinks for a long hard while, glancing off at Raina before giving it a shrug. "Probably all the coffee she brought me. Maybe the time she punched a guy for me, even if it lost me some good business."
Raina (GC): "Oh man, a lot! Sharing his grandparents with me, saying I don't belong in the Sky... and that guy deserved it!"

August (Circle): "Definitely scaring the bullies, secondly the coffee."
Raina (Circle): "Bailing me out, and not just out of jail."

6. Who would win in a pillow fight?
August (GC): "Wanna bet?"
Raina (GC): "I thought you wouldn't start a losing bet?"
August (GC): "I also know you can't bear to take a swing at me. Besides, Caleb and Glesni will be joining."
Raina (GC): "I am so taking Caleb out!"

August (Circle): "Raina. She has an army of siblings. I only got one, and a delicate one at that."
Raina (Circle): "Me, hands down."

7. How do you handle disagreements?
August (GC): "She blows off her steam. I sigh. The next performance starts and we're good."
Raina (GC): "I don't handle disagreements well..."

August (Circle): "We stop writing and then randomly send out an invitation to hang."
Raina (Circle): "We ghost each other until I can't deal with the silence. It's convenient when things pop up and I can start talking to August again."

8. What's one dream you share for the future?
Raina (GC): "Does wanting each other to meet our life goals count? No? Then finding a foothold in this fucked up world we live in."
August (GC): "I hope Raina manages to stay alive until age claims her."
Raina (GC): "Why is my mortality suddenly a concern?! You know what, don't answer that."

August (Circle): "That she gets to spit into the face of life for as long as she can."
Raina (Circle): "...I'm just going to say not dying."

1. How did you first meet?
Caleb: "We grew up together. I don't even remember a time he wasn't around betting against me."
August: "It was a beautiful day… Joking, our families practically adopted the other."

2. Who made the first move?
Caleb: Eyes August with a smirk. "Wanna bet?"
August: Towards the audience, "he always loses," towards Caleb, "loser pays for tonight's drinks."

3. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Caleb: "Mixing painkillers in my coffee and managing to make it taste decent!"
August: "Nothing says 'I love you' louder than a cup of coffee without the mud of Pariah Bay, doesn't it?"

4. Do you have any traditions?
August: "Yes, winning bets."
Caleb: "And trying to escape Elderly punishment if caught."

5. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Caleb: "Well I can't cry on command, so if there is a bet involved, it depends on who you betted against."
August: "It depends on who dies, otherwise I never start a losing bet."

6. Who's the better cook?
Caleb: "Grandma Yilmaz of course!"
August: "Out of filial considerations I cannot disagree. My taste buds also agree."

7. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Caleb: "Assuming he has been up to any subterfuge…. Me. But don't bet on it."
August: "I have the advantage of a sibling and Raina."

8. How do you handle disagreements?
Caleb: Huffs "See, this is where I say we are practically family, so we don't argue, but the reality is: I can't compete with his wits. So I just dramatically get over it by punching someone in the ring, making us some money in the process."
August: "He knows he is wrong."
Caleb: "No, you just like to dance around my points."
August: "You can't parry them."
Caleb: "No but I can punch them!"
August: Turns towards the audience "and this is why he loses."

9. What's one dream you share for the future?
Caleb: "Paying off our debts and having some measure of financial security."
August: "Be debt free, move our families out of Pariah Bay into a better life."

10. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
Caleb: Tapping his nose, "Co-conspirators."
August: "Investment."

1. How did you first meet?
Adelaide: "Was it at the Academy or at the Rosier mansion?" she muses, turning towards her partner, "either way, it was through the acquaintance of my brother, if he had been any more talented there would have been no need of you."
Virgil: He smirks softly, recalling the event. "I believe we've first seen each other at the Rosier mansion, yes. I was a tutor to the respected Mister Rosier. Adelaide was impossible to ignore, even back then, I have to say." He turns around and observes Adelaide fondly. "She was the bright one of the family."

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
Adelaide: "Albert spoiled me, he said that you were insufferable, arrogant and vain. After our first encounter only insufferable and vain remained."
Virgil: "I have my moments, admittedly. But perhaps there's a certain charm in it you've grown so fond of. What would that say about you?" He chuckles and pauses to think a bit before giving his response. "She was a well-behaved young lady. Deprived of expressing her passions and talents but eagerly striving for them nevertheless. I always found beauty in her stubbornness… And gave her a push."

3. What's a moment you realized you were in love?
Adelaide: Adelaide reddens, her mouth falling open and closing once more before furrowing her brows. "I have never been…" she starts, her cheeks flushing and not only for the obvious lie, "I can't recall," Adelaide continues, feeling herself growing hotter.

"Perhaps right now?" she manages.
Virgil: "For the longest time, I thought that it was the moment that I first held her in my arms for a dance. I wished for us to keep dancing in the aftermath of it as well." He pauses with a smirk. "But I truly began to think of her in such a way much sooner. Quickly after she had settled into her role as my assistant. The first time I met Adelaide hiding behind Miss Rosier."
Adelaide: "All the way back then? That has been years back. I never noticed." She grows thoughtful, remembering everything that passed. "Even as Albert?" she questions, "I always thought you were awfully kind to him, or rather me, much kinder than his stories made you out to be."
Virgil: He nods affirmatively. "Albert's persona was an awful reminder of what I thought I'd lost." He falls in thought for a moment. "You know, I was supposed to summon you in for work that day. I have decided that, for once, I can do things on my own to not inconvenience you. Days after the fact, Albert was the only thing I had left."

4. Who said "I love you" first?
Adelaide: "Virgil, for certain," she states, "if not in the least obvious way."
Virgil: "There comes a point when continuing to ignore the obvious is an insult to the heart. Still, I always had a potential rejection in mind," Virgil notes. "It affected the way I approached the issue. Do I wish I'd been more direct sooner? In hindsight, of course."
Adelaide: "I might not have pretended to be Albert had I known, or mistaken you to love my brother instead."

5. Who's the better cook?
Adelaide: "Virgil, unfortunately. Where he learnt such an uncommon skill is beyond me."
Virgil: "But Adelaide compensates it with the incredible tea-brewing skills. It never tastes quite as majestic as it does coming out of her hands. I was only fortunate to live in a food-loving household. I find it to be an unfair advantage in this case."

6. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Adelaide: "Probably Albert. Most likely Albert. Both in and after life."
Virgil: He nods lightly with a solemn expression. "The consensus about our engagement was… not in our favor. Mister Rosier only happened to be the loudest of them all."
Adelaide: "Albert didn't like the stories he heard. I agree, they were not in your favour."
Virgil: "I'd like to think that I would have protected my sister the same way. For that, I cannot blame him."

7. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
Adelaide: "He challenges me. I can be my truest self around Virgil. There are few who manage to pick me apart like he does while forcing me to think around the clock and reach beyond my usual understanding. Virgil truly is the best partner to have if you wish to be intellectually challenged at all times."
Virgil: "And what I seem to be to her intellectual side, Adelaide is to my emotional side. Her presence alone makes any issue seem a lot more manageable. I've spent a long time building thick walls on a flimsy base. Addy was the one to show me a better way of dealing with myself and others. Against all odds, I've opened up to the idea of sharing my burdens."

8. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
Adelaide: "Faith."
Virgil: "Reliance."

1. How did you first meet?
August: "In the music room of the Academy. She heard me play and joined in."
Glesni: "And inevitably made it sound so much better," she chuckles and sits up confidently.

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
August: "Musical, cultured, intelligent."
Glesni: "Interesting, witty, a bit reserved."

3. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
August: "Be the second brain of the group."
Glesni: "Yes, our wits are heaven-sent for the rest, aren't they? It's exhausting," Glensi drifts away briefly. "Anyway! I will forever be grateful that he decided to be my friend. Right. It sounds pathetic, but he is the one I'd dare call that. A true friend."

4. Do you have any traditions?
August: "Worrying her."
Glesni: "Parenting him to no avail."

5. Who would win in a pillow fight?
August: "I have a sibling, and Raina."
Glesni: She scoffs. "I am not sure about writing me off like that. I beg to differ!"
August: "Yeah, maybe Caleb can take on Raina."
Glesni: She blushes notably at the mention. "Th-that's not what- I am perfectly capable of taking down my cousin on my own!" She huffs and crosses her arms. "I could pillow Caleb as well. Any day." She blushes harder with realization. "Th-that sounded… Pillow fight Caleb any day. Shut it!"

6. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
August: "Raina."
Glesni: Speaks up at the same time. "Raina."

7. How do you handle disagreements?
August: "Usually we talk them through. Sometimes we argue."
Glesni: "He often puts me at my wit's end first. You know, for good measure. Then, I become annoying enough that he decides hearing me out is easier."

8. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
August: "Give me more breathing room as another functioning mind."
Glesni: "I've allowed myself to relax from my regular worries. I now only worry about 'the gang'," Glesni emphasizes it with a thumbs up and a sardonic smile.
August: "Mainly Raina and Caleb. They tend to worry me as well."

9. What's one dream you share for the future?
August: "To get rid of the system of privileges and class that we have been born into."
Glesni: She nods in agreement. "It brought nothing but pain and hindrance. So many more amazing individuals deserve a fair shot and we will do what we can to make it happen."

1. How did you first meet?
Pyre: "The Sky through the Academy. He never got rid of me and I am too old to remember where he picked me up."
Virgil: "It was a difficult time for me starting at the Academy as a less-than-welcome addition to the staff. This man right here showed me it could always be worse," Virgil smirks cheekily.
Pyre: Beaming in pride "I am never welcome anywhere!"

2. Who made the first move?
Pyre: "I definitely annoyed him first."
Virgil: "He walked into my office one day and refused to leave."
Pyre: "He doesn't want me to!"
Virgil: "Admittedly, I still prefer seeing his face over many others. I suppose that counts."

3. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Pyre: "It is yet to come, I can feel it!"
Virgil: "Oh? So we are simply skipping all of the times I had your back? Very well then. Likewise, one of these days, I just know I will finally be appreciated."
Pyre: "V gets to aggravate Branok through me. What greater joy is there?"

4. Do you have any traditions?
Pyre: "The ash and coal tavern down the city centre."
Virgil: "On that note, it's been a while, old friend. Do you think they still know our usual?"
Pyre: "It's been a while for you. Bertha still scowls at me."
Virgil: "I got some time this week's end. We could arrange a little date."

5. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Pyre: "Me. Confident."
Virgil: "Me. Absolutely."

6. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Pyre: "Me. Chap has the patience of a saint after all I have put him through and I am forever grateful. Shall be abusing that kindness for a long, long while."
Virgil: A small smirk dances in the corner of Virgil's lips as he maintains an otherwise stoic face. "Fortunately for him, he is a friend worth the inconvenience. We've been tackling issues in abundance for the longest time. It is impossible to choose only one instance."

7. How do you handle disagreements?
Pyre: "I usually fart. I also never listen."
Virgil: "The best case scenario is he ignores my advice in the most aggravating way, then proceeds to ask me to help. Of course, I cannot make myself reject a senior citizen in need."

8. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
Pyre: "I am his worst habit. Next to smoking."
Virgil: "I've developed patience and tolerance I never thought I'd have."

9. What's one dream you share for the future?
Pyre: "That he will find a nice babe to settle down with and make me an uncle and maybe an heir of the Pyre imperium!"
Virgil: Virgil contemplates his response briefly before shrugging with a smirk. "I suppose we are going to go with that. I don't have much say in the matter anyway."

10. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
Pyre: "Fire."
Virgil: "Problematic."

1. How did you first meet? ☆
Halo: Oh! It's actually quite the gorgeous tale. I was putting on an exhibition in Black City two years ago. Perhaps some of my best material, so I'm somewhat proud of the fact that that was Jax's first impression of me. [Halo immediately goes silent because he needs to look at Jax for approval.]
Jax: It was a lovely exhibition.
Halo: [He beams as though this is the best news he has heard all week.] Yes, and so I was escorting guests about, signing pieces and whatnot when he caught my eye. All alone, so pensive, so artful, a sight of beauty without even needing an artist's hand! I had to introduce myself. And would you believe Lady Fate? He'd meant to be escorted himself, by some lucky and decidedly irresponsible fellow who did not decide to show up. Since I am both lucky and very much unwilling to let such an opportunity pass me by, I gave him a tour of my work. [He nods very sagely even though no one else is saying anything.] By the end of the night, he'd absolutely tied knots with me around his finger. I offered him a small token of my affections and the rest is history, I suppose. [Insider knowledge reports that this was supposedly a gold statuette of a butterfly worth a frankly disturbing amount of money.]

2. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time? ☆
Halo: I've had many loves and none are ever the same. To say it was at first sight would most certainly be magical, but I'm not even quite sure how to categorize it… But time has sweetened it, most certainly. If I had not been in love with him at first sight, perhaps it was on second sight. Or third. It has nurtured itself over our time knowing each other, more than I can put to words.
Jax: Not at all. I don't believe in love at first sight and I certainly wasn't in love with him. [Halo looks mortally injured but is listening very respectfully. Jax very kindly gives his hand a life-bringing squeeze.]

3. What were your first impressions of each other? ☆
Halo: I believe I was drawn to him because… Perhaps he seemed lonesome? Not that I believed that he needed me, but I thought that I could be of use and that he could be another light, another connection in my life. I thought he struck the line between being both charming and quiet in a way that I appreciated.
Jax: I knew it was his exhibit and was grateful for the attention, but he was uncomfortably eager and overbearing. And overly sentimental. He revealed early in our interaction that he was too trusting, but at the time I was grateful for how unreasonably generous he was. It wasn't the worst date I've had.

4. What's the moment you realized you were in love? ☆
Halo: Love comes to me quite easily. I don't know that there was a specific moment, but one day, before one of my flights off to somewhere else to rest my muse, Jax bade me farewell. I found myself thinking at that moment that I didn't quite want him to do so. I wanted him to stay. I wanted to know that he would be there with me. Leaving aches, as it always does, but it was… Different, feeling as though I did not want to know the world away from him.
Jax: When I thought I lost him, when I imagined my life without him and felt lost at the idea of never having his affections again. [Jax smiles with soft, profound affection.]

5. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you? ☆
Jax: He never gave up on me.
Halo: That's quite unfair… I can't think of a better answer than that. [Despite pouting, he looks smitten.]

6. Do you have any traditions? ☆
Halo: I've always had a love for letters, even if they're considered old-fashioned these days, what with texting and all. When I'm off somewhere, I make sure to pen something for Jax and send it off. Sometimes, he even surprises me and a letter is waiting for me by the time I arrive. It's ridiculously adorable. Oh, and every May 11th, which was our fateful meeting day, by the way, we return to the exhibition hall at which we met. The art on display always changes, but the magic does not.

7. Who said "I love you" first? ☆
Halo: I believe I said it on our second date. I'm not very ashamed of loving with wild abandon.
Jax: I've never said 'I love you' to anyone before Halo.
Halo: I am a very special boy indeed. [Jax sighs.]

8. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie? ☆
Halo: I do enjoy a good cry. Sometimes, films simply paint too beautiful of a narrative for me. Surely, you jest, if you say that they aren't worth a cry…
Jax: I don't know that I've ever cried at a movie. Certainly not a romantic one, at that.
Halo: … And that is okay… [He only seems somewhat disturbed by this revelation.]

9. Who's the better cook? ☆
Halo: I make a delightful crème brûlée. Every dish is a work of art before it is a meal, no? And I find gold flakes to be a lovely addition to a platter! Jax makes my favourite breakfast, though.
Jax: We have very different styles of cooking.

10. What's a challenge you've overcome together? ☆
Halo: Jax once stopped me from wiring 10 000 dollars to a sweet woman I'd met online being threatened by the mafia. It certainly was challenging… Apparently, she was a catfish. I've learned that term. It's quite sinister…
Jax: Halo is prone to seeing the best in everyone.
Halo: It really is a shame she wasn't being threatened by the mafia. Er. Well, that she was being dishonest, I mean.

11. What's something you want to do as a couple that you haven't yet? ☆
Jax: We're planning to get complimentary tattoos.
Halo: I designed them! [He, for some reason, has a copy of his mock up in his pocket. They are half-matching moth designs.] I am beyond excited. I've quite a bit of ink to begin with, but the idea of sharing one with Jax has been exhilarating.

12. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be? ☆
Jax: Sincere. [Halo can't seem to pick a word.]

1. How did you first meet?
Finlay: Well... I suppose that I was lonely enough and in a rough enough place preaching at my local parish that Erasmus was made to show up in my life. He was originally just moving in to be my roommate since rent went up crazy, or so I thought. I had no idea what was in store... hard to imagine you are living with an angelic embodiment of love. I just thought he was touchy feely, and a little provocative to match...
Erasmus: God assigned me to him to help him embrace his sexual and romantic needs, so yeah, I showed up at his door under the guise of being interested in his roommate ad.

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
Erasmus: Oh, Finlay was very meek and repressed. It was painful seeing him like that. Oh, but I also thought he was utterly adorable and incredibly sexy.
Finlay: Oh! I wasn't that meek! I thought Erasmus was very knowledgeable, though he was more on the... eccentric side? I suppose.. he did a lot of weird things which I guess now was like, him flirting. I guess maybe I was a little dense...

3. Do you have any traditions?
Finlay: Traditions? Well... hmmm... I suppose its a tradition since I've been more... forthright with my own feelings for Era to well.. uhm.. well, to make sure I thoroughly enjoy myself every night, if you get what I am trying to say. But, oh goodness, that is so embarrassing to say!
Erasmus: He means that we [CENSORED] every night.

4. Who made the first move?
Erasmus: Mm... depends on how you want to view it. Technically, Finn did, when he jumped into my lap and begged me to [CENSORED] him. Buuuut I did give him several pushes to encourage that happening. laugh
Finlay: I think you definitely made the first move, baby. And the second... and the third and forth.. I don't even remember that night except in little bits and pieces. We really did have fun though~

5. If your love story was a movie, what would the title be?
Finlay: laugh Well, suppose it might have to be an R rated movie, given certain things... but uhm.. maybe like Love is an Arrow Away or Love is a Prayer Away... or something like that.
Erasmus: More like "[CENSORED] Angel Puts Big [CENSORED] in [CENSORED] [CENSORED]." It would only be found on porn sites without heavy editing.

6. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Finlay: Me.. but that isn't fair! They just get so emotional towards the end, like, how are you not suppose to cry!?
Erasmus: laugh Isn't he adorable?

7. Who's the better cook?
Erasmus: Finlay! He's a fantastic cook.
Finlay: I SO am the better cook. I don't think you've even cooked once for us! I make pancakes and frittatas and all sots of stuff.
Erasmus: whispering Actually, it's me, but I've been alive for centuries, so it's really not a fair comparison. Plus, cooking for me makes him so happy.

8. If you had to describe your love story in emojis only, which ones would you pick?
Erasmus: 👼 💘 🍆 💦 ❤️‍🔥
Finlay: O-oh... oh my, I don't know if I'd use those middle ones...

9. What's one dream you share for the future?
Erasmus: Undoing the hateful and constrictive rhetoric of those who use God's name to control people so that people can feel free to live as their happiest selves.
Finlay: I've kind of always wanted a church of my own. A nice little snowy one would be nice... One where were we can love everyone no matter what, and not be as hateful as those from my, uhm, previous employment were.

10. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
Finlay: Heavenly~
Erasmus: laugh That's clever!

1. How did you first meet?
Violetta: Some years ago at the premiere of A Canvas for Longing, which I can no longer remember if it was an artistic porn movie or just a porn anymore. But it was the after party where this guy [points her thumb in the direction of her partner] comes up to me and well - I don't remember exactly what you said. I think I had drank four martinis by that point, but I thought he was slight and cute. Which is why I didn't recognize him the second time we met.
Kaius: It was one of my mother's many films.

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
Kaius: I was entirely enchanted by her, drawn to the fact that if I annoyed her enough, she could have me killed, and that her temperament might actually lead to that. She seemed challenging, and dangerous, and that delights me.
Violetta: …I don't remember having a very solid impression you. I think I just thought you were rather, hm, no. Never mind.

3. Who made the first move?
Violetta: Kaius. If you count the initial "ask out request" met with a "denied". I thought he was only interested in me for my crown. That or … well, look at me, I am so far off the 1 -10 body scale. And I wouldn't have blamed him for that, but a relationship is different from just sex. Yet, I asked him out the second time. When we actually started dating. [clears her throat and brushes her cheek with her hand as an excuse to hide the flushed cheeks]
Kaius: You are exceptionally hot, but my interest in you is for far more than that. I'm happy you gave me a second chance.

4. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Kaius: I have eliminated "problems" for her.
Violetta: He's a terrific problem solver. I made him some outfits before. I stopped sewing long ago, but I wanted everything for him to be made by my hands.

5. Who said "I love you" first?
Violetta: [Looks at Kaius] Hmm. Who could say.
Kaius: I did, not having her know how I felt hurt my heart.
Violetta: The notorious General Andreev. [bumps his ankle with her own]

6. If your love story was a movie, what would the title be?
Violetta: Crown and Command? Melting Me Softly? Something sophisticated - Oh, Something Sophisticated.
Kaius: Dangerous Love, but those are all better.

7. Who gives better hugs?
Kaius: She does, of course.
Violetta: No, you do. He's warm, and he smells nice and despite being a literal soldier, he's soft with them.

8. Who's the better cook?
Violetta: I don't cook. I don't think I am allowed anymore. . . It's for everyone's safety.
Kaius: I am a fine cook, I can certainly cook for her, but it's better to have servants do it.
Violetta: I agree. We pay them for a reason.

9. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Violetta: Me, obviously.
Kaius: She'd dominate.
Violetta: [laughs] Easy win.

10. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Violetta: Mm, we have a lot of "enemies" if you will. And we've discarded them together. But there's also been the public eye in general. He's a Darkling, I'm a Vampir, he may be upper class, but he's not royal nor noble. There was bound to be talk, disapproval, annoying parents and family chatting up your ears, making you doubt. I didn't though - doubt, that is. I never doubted.
Kaius: Selfish snakes, too. Those who tried to encourage me toward her out of perceived gains for themselves. I discarded all of them.

1. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Seth: No.
January: Love at first sight isn't real.
Seth: I wouldn't say that. I loved Rana the moment I met her… I love you now.
January: How did that turn out?
Seth: [ankle kicks January]

2. What were your first impressions of each other?
January: He is rude, and that was the defining trait in our first interaction. Disgruntled, is a good word for my initial impression of Seth. Impolite, too. Should I go on?
Seth: You weren't exactly a cup of sunshine yourself. Unapproachable, and judging. He is the type that can only fight with words, and kind of on the weaker side. Physically.
January: Words are a powerful weapon.
Seth: And so is a sword or fist or literally anything else.

3. Who made the first move?
Seth: I did…I think, both in terms of asking him to hang out with Nubs, my son, and me. And then later I asked him to go out with me or something like that.
January: Our relationship was much better by then, obviously, but it was still unexpected. Very cute, though.
Seth: I was on life support when I asked.

4. What's a moment you realized you were in love?
Seth: Ugh. I don't know. It wasn't some grand romantic moment. I just remembered laying in bed with him and thinking how I wouldn't mind waking up with him forever. And then that's when I knew. Messy hair, morning breath, sleep eyes and all, I wanted that. I wanted him.
January: Not until after I said it. I had fond thoughts, and moments of private joys around them, but I didn't put the word to it until after I had said it. Until after I had heard him say it back, and realised love could be a real thing for me, if it was with him.

5. Who said "I love you" first?
January: I did. I didn't mean to, either. I didn't even realise I had until the moment after. I thought he was going to leave me, and if I lost him, he at least needed to know I felt. I didn't expect to say that, however.
Seth: I, of course, said it back.

6. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Seth: January.
January: Don't lie.
Seth: Maybe me. Depends on the movie. It has to feel real.
January: "Maybe", I don't know that I've cried over a movie.
Seth: It's because you're cold-blooded.
January: That's low.

7. Who's the better cook?
Seth: January doesn't consider my cooking as cooking.
January: It's just reading instructions off of a box.
Seth: What about the sandwiches?
January: Those kinds of sandwiches aren't food.
Seth: [eye roll] Anyway, he can put together barely more complex things. So, I would say January.
January: Thank you.

8. If you had to describe your love story in emojis only, which ones would you pick?
Seth: January is too good for emojis. I will take this one over. 😒🐍👿⚔️😑🚸😅🌃🙂☺️🥵🕺❤️‍🔥🥰👪. The end, or up to this point, at least.
January: You paint a detailed picture.

9. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Seth: I mean, is it even a question worth asking? I'd win, easy.
January: I would have my revenge later.
Seth: Of course you would, Darling. The score is 15/0 as of right now, by the way.
January: Did you think I meant in a fight?
Seth: [opens mouth, closes mouth.] No, I knew. [He did not.]

10. How do you handle disagreements?
Seth: Duel. Winner gets all. Is what I would say for anything else, but it has been weird navigating that, at the start, with January. We started arguing the moment we met and, presumably, hating each other. We didn't do it as much when Nubs entered the picture, but as a couple... I'll admit I tend to be a bit overly emotional at times, but I am always honest. So, communication, I guess?
January: Communicating openly has never been a strong suit of mine, but it is the foundation of a good relationship, and is a healthier method to handling disagreements than those I was raised with. Also, you can't duel everyone.
Seth: No, not everyone. Just most.

11. What's something you want to do as a couple that you haven't yet?
Seth: Mmm. [nervous hair tuck] Marry. I know for a fact I would want to try that with January. And maybe make our family a little bigger.
January: I would love both of those things. [he smiles fondly over to Seth]

12. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
January: Iridescent
Seth: Inevitable.

1. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Florian: Oh of course. Kindred spirits, amiright?
Nicaise: Definitely. He just…
Both: GOT it.
Interviewer: Got what?
Both: [blank stare a moment, both realize a useless way to answer at once] IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW.

2. How do you handle disagreements?
Both: Betrayal.

3. What's one dream you share for the future?
Florian: When everyone recognizes our worth and beauty to the fullest.
Nicaise (going on): And lots of money and jewels and servants
Florian: [double-takes slightly like, didn't they rehearse this to look cool? Ok whatever nod, oh yea, agreed, definitely on the same page, nod]

4. Who gives better hugs?
Both: ..............................people hug?

5. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Nicaise: I had gotten one of my first gifts in the court from Florian. A gorgeous pair of enchanted earrings. They matched every outfit I have in my closet. And the jewels were imported from Sesozapa. He made them himself.
Florian: Oh yeah, that's a really good one. Alright, for my first day at court, Nicaise gave a flourishing introduction for me to his social circle at the time. It was very considerate.
Nicaise: [stares off, has no memory of this…suddenly realizes what Florian is referencing… and never meant it as an introduction, but sure as heck isn't denying it now]. I'm a good friend.
Florian: We didn't even know each other yet!
Nicaise: I am SUCH a good friend, I knew what to do BEFORE we even KNEW.

6. Do you have any traditions?
Florian: Honestly, just making each other look good in public. Is that a tradition?
Nicaise: I think it certainly counts. Oh! We like to share each other's successes. You know, kind of show off who wins this week in the amount of wins. We certainly celebrate together always. Never any jealousy. We're best friends after all.

7. If you had to describe your love story in emojis only, which ones would you pick?
Florian: 💅🫅🏻🤴🏻👏🏼🦄. Oh, I didn't mean to pick the unicorn, but now I want to keep it. So, the unicorn, too. I mean, we're mythical, right? Right.
Nicaise: Gay.[cough]

8. What's a challenge you've overcome together?
Nicaise: The enemies in this goddamn palace. No one likes to see us happy or successful. It's sickening really. I don't think I would have gotten far without Florian's support. Well, I would, but it helped. Maybe by 1.5%.
Florian: There was this one time that he was supposed to get married to some rando? I think I helped him get away. I didn't mean to, but it still counts.

9. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
Florian: I have someone to gossip with who GETS it. AND, someone to gossip ABOUT. Look, don't all friends? He does it about me, too - means he's thinking about me AND telling people about me.
Nicaise: He taught me high school academics- I mean, I of course already knew all of it! He just reviewed it with me, and it made me even better at it. I'm receiving college requests instead of applying to them.

10. If you had to sum up your love in one word, what would it be?
Florian: Slay. Oh, ew, not like actual fighting. "SLAY."
Nicaise: I was going to say "brilliant" but yours is better.
[Florian holds up his fingers in the shape of half a heart, Nicaise completes the other side. They mysteriously sparkle in their combined bro beauty.]

1. How did you first meet?
Isiah: I visited his nightclub and liked it enough to start spending a lot of time there. Eventually, my friends and I were there on an off day, and I made use of the piano. I guess Vince overheard it because he asked me to start performing there regularly. I was horrendously bored at the time, so I agreed to work part time in exchange for free drinks at the bar. It's not like I needed the money, after all.
Vincent: He was one of my most notable clients, or perhaps the most notable client I had. There were times I had chatted with him once or twice, but we didn't really talk until I hired him. And if we're being totally honest [leaning forward and whispering] I don't think I met the real him until he started yelling at me.

2. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Isiah: There had always been an attraction on a sexual and intellectual level, I think, but it was hard to distinguish love from hate with all of our bickering. [laugh] Granted, a lot of that bickering was just our way of flirting, looking back. Fostering a romantic connection took a while.
Vincent: I thought he was charming, but I didn't think he was for me. He was a rich kid raise with a silver spoon in his mouth though handsome and intelligent. I didn't bother to see beyond that until he started contesting my every move when he decided he "hated" me. Call it cliche, but I liked being challenged and I loved being argued with. But yes, it definitely took time to really build into a full fledged romance. And even harder to differentiate when it became that.
Isiah: Oh, I just decided to hate you, huh? And you didn't do anything to earn my ire?
Vincent: Why are you saying it as a question when it's a fact?
Isiah: Just because I love you doesn't mean I won't consider killing you, you know. [side eye]
Vincent: Key word "considering". [smug face]

3. What's a moment you realized you were in love?
Isiah: Well, I have this... quirk... that I spent most of my life desperately trying to hide. Revealing it would put my life in danger, you see, so it was a great source of stress for me. Nobody had ever been able to find a way to fix the problem, so I had given up on finding an actual solution. When Vince found out, he went through hell and high water to find a solution, and gifted it to me on Christmas. It was partially an apology for an awful argument we'd gotten into, but it was the nicest thing anyone's done for me. I realized then that Vince cared about me more than he let on, and in turn, I realized that I loved him.
Vincent: [squeeze to Isiah's thigh] For me, I think, it might have been before you. Long before, or maybe after, I don't know. I tried so hard to deny it at several points. I never came to a full realization of it until you chose to sit and wait with me in an empty pet clinic late at night instead of continuing your little date with your - ugh - sugar daddy at the time. All we had was juice, but you chose to sit with me. And when I thought about how happy I was with you there, I knew I couldn't lie to myself about it anymore.

4. Do you have any traditions?
Isiah: Ever since I noticed he wasn't eating properly, I started bringing him lunch at work. It also gives me a good excuse to visit him. Sometimes I make the food myself, but other times I just buy it from somewhere I know he likes.
Vincent: We exchange poems a lot too. It started off as a 'I thought you would enjoy this' but was quickly turned into a medium of showing each other how we felt through intricately and romantically written language without the words coming from our own mouths. We still do it now too. We've even attended signings with our favorite poets.

5. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Isiah: Vincent. He's a sappy romantic, even if he'd argue the contrary.
Vincent: Isiah. He's lying. I would never [turning his head to whisper about his public face]. Just the other night he was sobbing in bed about the Notebook. So, I think that speaks volume. And then he started crying about a couple in one of those smut books he reads.
Isiah: Hey! [swat] We both cried watching The Notebook.
Vincent: I'm pretty sure I told you I had something in my eye.

6. Who gives better Hugs?
Isiah: Vincent. He has a habit of kissing my shoulder when we hug, which he thinks I don't notice. It's incredibly endearing. Plus, I love his cologne.

7. Who's the better cook?
Isiah: Me, no question. I do nearly all the cooking for us and I take a good deal of pride in it. Call me old-fashioned, but I enjoy cooking for my husband.
Vincent: Not something you'd expect from someone of his background, but I confess he's better than my original cook. And she's been cooking for years. Don't tell her I said that. Wait, this is all on record? I love your cooking, Agnes. It's all for the interview.

8. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Isiah: Vincent. If only because I would let him win.
Vincent: I win because you don't take any of our self-defense lessons seriously, darling.
Isiah: It's only because I like it when you hold me down. [flirty trill]
Vincent: Amongst many other things.

9. How do you handle disagreements?
Isiah: Communication. But really, we hardly ever get into actual arguments since we've started dating. Usually it's just petty bickering that ends in [CENSORED].
Vincent: I disagree. The real issues also end in a lot of [CENSORED].

10. What's one way your partner has changed you for the better?
Isiah: Before I met Vince, my entire life was a giant performance. I was raised in a shallow and callous world, and that made me cruel. But I was deeply unhappy, too, even if I pretended I had everything I wanted. Vincent saw through the mask I was wearing, and even if he was cruel in ripping it off at times, he taught me that the real me was worth more than the person I was pretending to be. Someone worth loving.
Vincent: I wasn't much better. Alone, harsh, stuck in my own ways. Do not make a joke about me being old right now.. But Isiah helped me with all of that, even when I pushed him away he remained, he made me more gentle than I knew I was capable of, and allowed me to view things differently, to learn that sometimes I do need help and that there are other paths. He made me look at myself and not feel ... unhappy with what I saw. I was enough for him and myself. And I couldn't be happier for it.

Let it be known Cian Latimer was rendered flustered by many of his partners quick answers and fell into quiet fondeness with his other answers.

1. How did you first meet?
Simon: I had some books and materials I needed to pick up for a magic focused assignment at my college and heard about this quaint little store with affordable prices and rare goods. And there he was at the front desk. He was much more polite to me then, when I was just a customer.

2. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Simon: shy laugh Love at first sight isn't real. That's what they say, but if it isn't real I guess it was a crush at first sight. A really powerful one. I don't know, I felt an immediate attraction to him and found any excuse I could to speak to him. Including annoying him. The love came overtime, and built with each visit.
Cian: It took time, certainly. Not too much time, though; he's far too adorable to resist for long. Admitting that I was in love with him was much harder than the actual falling in love.
Simon: I could tell. You weren't as good at hiding it as you thought you were.

3. Who made the first move?
Simon: Me. He was a scaredy cat. leaning against his shoulder playfully But I was also scared. I wasn't direct for a long time. I knew if I told him exactly how I felt and what I wanted to do with him I would be rejected. I wanted the chance to convince him here was a future for us, to build a fondness between us. There was also a part of me that was afraid that him liking me back was just my hopeful wishing too. And the moment I said anything would confirm it.
Cian: Stuck by me despite all my efforts at pushing him away. It wasn't fair to him at all; he should have given up on me. But he didn't. I'm immensely grateful for that.

4. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Simon: I can only choose one? But there's so much. he's taken me home when I was far from sober and tucked me into bed. He's made me the cutest pancakes when it wasn't even his aesthetic. He gave me free snacks at the store and turned the other cheek when he noticed one of my friends stealing said snacks from the store. Oh! I know, he let me love him. That's the sweetest thing he's done for.

5. Who said "I love you" first?
Simon: Wow, another question where I have to answer me. As I said before, Cian was emotionally stunted - repressed? Either way, his love was there, it was simply constipated. Yes, I used the correct word. But now he can say it much easier, still, a little shy but he's a good boy. [teasingly patting head (or as much as he can reach)]

6. If your love story was a movie, what would the title be?
Simon: I got it! The Day Simon Scott Stole Cian Latimer's Heart. Is that too long? How about How to Win a Guy in a certain undiclosed Number of Years? That sounds bad. Ugh. The Key to Cian's heart? I thought it was funny. A romcom special.
Cian: [snort] Love is No Mirage, perhaps?
Simon: That's a good one. We should settle on that. A limited series instead of movie too, preferably

7. Who's the better cook?
Simon: I am pretty damn fantastic. Especially when cooking on budget. But Cian makes it look effortless and fancy and stunning. I feel like we're eating out every night when we're just at home eating mac and cheese 0 but say that in a French accent and that's how it tastes.
Cian: He's flattering me far too much; I just make meals that aren't pre-packaged.
Simon: When you lived the life I have, everything he makes is fine dining.

8. Who would win in a pillow fight?
Simon: Don't let his height fool you. I have been pillow fighting since I was a child and every week with my best friend. I am a pillow fighting champion. An Olympic level athlete, if you will.
Cian: Pillow fighting champion? Pillow Princess, more like.
Simon: [blush] That doesn't count as an answer.
Cian: I'll let you have it. [smug face]

1. How did you first meet?
Nanoha: Hehe, yes, it was during the Sudden Revival: Amplified Tour, right after their third stop. I was lucky they came to Foxby! [Nanoha had stars in her eyes.] I didn't even sleep the night before… I got too excited because I got meet and greet tickets, so I baked four dozen cat shaped cookies and stuck them in a huge box and everything. They were chocolate and strawberry flavoured. With my phone number and all my socials, because I just wanted her to know who I was, I guess?
Ye-jun: It was definitely a bit of a shock for myself. At the time I wasn't very used to meeting fans because I still had some issues with my people skills so her being so excited and giving me such a huge gift was overwhelming at that moment. Afterwards, it took me a few days to really calm down and process the situation but I ended up contacting her through Discord and chatting with her for long periods of time, sometimes even into the long hours of the night.
Nanoha: Genuinely one of the best things that ever happened to me. She's so cute!
[With nothing more to add to that, Ye-jun just kind of sat there blushing and gave Nanoha a playful push on the shoulder.]

2. Was it love at first sight, or did it take time?
Nanoha: Maybe! I saw Sudden Revival's first concert by accident and… I don't even know! I just couldn't keep my eyes off of her. I loved the music and loved the band and I think just the way that she performs like… Like nobody is looking, it made me want to look even more. Something like love at first sight, I think!
Ye-jun: It's hard to say because the first time I saw and met her was when she gave me that gift and in that moment, it definitely felt like something in my heart opened up. At that moment I felt a great sense of gratitude. It might actually have been love because she looked at me in a way I hadn't seen anyone look at me before and it caused this funny feeling, kind of like butterflies. Then when I kept talking to her, that sensation I felt when we first met just became stronger and more defined, and definitely turned into love.

3. What were your first impressions of each other?
Nanoha: Ye-jun felt like such a mystery to me? She was… Kind of shy when talking to fans and her demeanor was so different off the stage during behind the scenes stuff online. But on the stage, it was like she commanded my attention! She felt that music like it belonged to no one else. I'd never met anyone like that before. That's definitely part of why she was my favourite in Sudden Revival from the beginning.

Ye-jun: When I first met Nanoha I mostly felt a bit overwhelmed due to her excitedness, but that is also what drew me to her. Despite usually feeling a bit anxious to be around people and be open, with her it felt like I could break through that wall I had built around myself and just let loose. It felt freeing and exciting and it made me want to be around her more and more. She was also just very passionate about the music of Sudden Revival and that felt great because I knew the music I was making was reaching someone.

4. Who made the first move?
Ye-jun: It was actually me who made the first move. Being able to be so open and, myself so to say, around Nanoha, it made me feel like I could make that first move comfortably. So I asked her out on a day-long date where I just wanted to spend as much time with her as I possibly could.
Nanoha: To all the other Ye-jun fanboys I see online… I won. [She looks extremely smug.]

5. What's the moment you realized you were in love?
Nanoha: I, um, actually never really dated or loved anyone, I guess, before Ye-jun. I mostly read about that stuff in fanfic or manga. But I think there was this one moment, where she called me right before a show just to ask where I was sitting so she knew which way to face during the performance… Even though she wouldn't be able to see me in the crowd, I'd be able to see her better. It wasn't even that big of a deal, I think, but I just spent the entire time with my heart in my ears.
Ye-jun: I think it was actually during one of our rehearsals where I was having a bit of an off-day and I kept messing up in my play. In that moment, the only thing I thought could comfort me was at least hearing her voice, even if just for a moment, to encourage myself to get back in the right headspace. I did end up calling her then just to ask her to talk for a few minutes and rev up the engines in my head. [She takes hold of Nanoha's hand and squeezes it a little.]

6. What's the sweetest thing your partner has ever done for you?
Nanoha: There was this one time I was just feeling super out of it. I don't even remember really everything that was happening, but I just wanted to lay in bed and not talk to anyone. I… didn't even have to invite her over. Ye-jun just knew and just came over. With snacks and everything and sat next to me in bed. I never felt so cared for before.
Ye-jun: It was when for our first anniversary she gave me this absolutely massive scrapbook. And when I say massive, I mean this thing weighed at least 5 pounds. It was filled to the brim with pictures of us, pictures of SR concerts, pictures and postcards of places we'd visited together and even the small significant things like receipts from when we went out for ice cream together for the first time and memes about us. I guard that scrapbook with my life and I am never letting go of it!
Nanoha: It's my masterpiece! :D

7. Do you have any traditions?
Ye-jun: Once a month we will come together and spend a whole day baking together. I know Nanoha generally finds cooking and baking boring but by doing it together I want to have fun with her and show her how great it can be. Of course I will always take her requests on what to make to heart and pour all my love into it! [She raises her fist and snuggles up to Nanoha]
Nanoha: Every Friday night, unless we've got work or something, we have an anime marathon where we binge something until we can't stay awake anymore, hehe. I've got a whole other scrapbook where I keep our ratings and stuff too… We really liked Durarara! And Mushishi.

8. Who said "I love you" first?
Nanoha: Me! But I kind of blurted it out. I meant it though… After that concert, where I realized I loved her, I just. As soon as she came to see me, I just said it.
Ye-jun: I had definitely thought it before then and every time in my mind I would think, "What if she were to find it all too sudden and weird?", and it would just cause me to not want to say it out loud. But after she did it so suddenly after the concert, I kind of just blurted it out back to her without any regrets.

9. Who's more likely to cry during a romantic movie?
Ye-jun: [With a smirk on her face, Ye-jun uses her hand to raise Nanoha's high in the air] It's definitely her! I am usually not the biggest fan of romance movies but when I am with Nanoha I like just being able to sit back and watch them with her because it gives me an excuse to comfort and hug her when she cries over sad or happy things happening in the movies.
Nanoha: Stoooop!!! Ahhh!!! She's bullying me! [Despite complaining, she looks smitten.]
Ye-jun: Is it really bullying if you like me teasing you?! [She embraces her fully and just clings onto her]

10. Who gives better hugs?
Nanoha: Her! She's so soft, hehe.
Ye-jun: Definitely her! Any time we wake up next to each other I just feel so comforted and she won't let me go!

11. How do you handle disagreements?
Ye-jun: I think the first thing that comes to my mind is a situation I haven't spoken much about publicly. This was a few months ago when I had to deal with a fan that was stalking me and harassing me at every turn I took. It was a very dark time because I felt scared to talk about it not just with my band mates but also with Nanoha, someone who I really trust, because in my mind, I was thinking that people might try to sweep it away as a consequence of being a celebrity. It got to a point where this stalker had figured out where I lived and had tried to break in on one occasion. That night happened to be a night where Nanoha was staying over and this is how she found out about me even having this stalker, and we ended up having an argument about my lack of communication and my lack of willingness to seek help with my problems, something that I've since been working on with the help of Nanoha. It was definitely a wake-up call I needed and I am glad Nanoha was there for me despite the argument that followed and was nothing but supportive.
Nanoha: It was… Really scary. I just couldn't believe that she had been hiding it from me. And I get that it was super scary, especially because we'd never really had something like this happen to either of us… I guess now, we're very on top of being honest with each other. I wasn't just mad, I was terrified. I'm really glad she's okay. [Nanoha, looking somewhat shaken by the memories, rests her head on Ye-jun's shoulder.]
Ye-jun: I am just glad I found someone that is willing to support me through things like this and is teaching me how to become more open as a person over time, I definitely wouldn't be where I am now without her. [Ye-jun wraps her arms around Nanoha and just rests her chin on top of her head as she sits there silently, thinking back on the situation]

12. What's one dream you share for the future?
Ye-jun: I definitely want to involve Nanoha more with the band and have her around whenever possible, but then at the height of our band's popularity, I want to just elope and run off into the sunset never to be seen again!
Nanoha: I didn't even know what I was gonna say but I like that. What she said!

Raina and Hunter forgot the biggest thing they had to overcome or are still trying to overcome: August - I don't think he will ever get over the Skunk.

@Noctis the Devious @Ritual Lobotomy

We only did eight questions, but we planned out a plot the other day that's going to make things so much worse :' D August is going to feel really justified when it happens RIP
