Hello! So, I'm one of those horrible people who joined about two years back, only to slip very early on into lurker status when the roleplay I was briefly in died off. Instead of doing the intelligent thing by keeping my muse up with another roleplay, I'd fallen into a dastardly "picky phase" and suffice to say, had issues digging myself out! Now here I am after all this time, late to the party and doing what I should have from the get-go. >:L To be fair, I was still poking around here off and on occasionally and saw the changes Iwaku went through. For a while there, my oh~so~simple mind found itself very intimidated! But now the set-up is once again way more familiar and easy enough to navigate.
Nonsense aside, my resume is filled out for the most part so you can get the basics of what I'm interested in listed there. Because I've always seen myself as a team player, I like OOC chats just as much as IC ones. Getting familiar with my partners is always a perk and the last thing I wanna do is make someone bored out of their mind. I've become more of a fandom kinda guy in my recent years, but I've always liked the creativity linked to original plots and characters. I do both, but I'm slightly more picky with mixing the two (CCxOC kinda stuff). I'll write just about anywhere that isn't a chat room/instant messenger.
....One day I'll have to sit down and make a list of all these things so I can actually search for people instead of hoping someone will just spring out and spam my conversations. :L
Annnd now I'll start talking a bit more about me as an actual person, because contrary to popular belief, I am not an inanimate object even if this profile has been sitting here acting like one. Forewarning, we might end up with a room full of crickets.
If you don't feel like sticking to my username or even shortening it for that matter, my real one is Ren so that works all the same! I'm 23 years old, and to spare hundreds of innocent lives from what is guaranteed to be monstrous fits of road rage, I've decided to go this long without a license. That means I get to be the lazy ass who hitches rides from the unlucky folks I know, go me~ I started writing pretty early on, so I have roughly 12? Years of on-and-off experience, but I've still got truckloads of spare room to learn new things so there's always that to look forward to. I can ramble. Like, a lot. If you get me started on a topic I like? Ho-boy. I enjoy fiddling around with making edits in Photoshop, though so far I'm a failure when it comes to drawing my own digital art from scratch. I read a LOT of fandom-oriented content in my spare time, there's the occasional gaming sessions, and anime is a thing; subs, dubs, whatever works. I have a major case of OCD, and it likes to pop up all the time at random intervals in my life to wave hello and ruin my concentration. Running is nice, swimming is fun, and now I've exhausted all the noteworthy things about myself I never normally talk about.
What the hell. Here, have some useless, incoherent paragraphs. 83
