"I don't care what you say, you fucking bitch! Get on your damn knees!"

"Enemy contact." Ghost flips out his HUM and sets it to thermal. "We have six heat signatures huddled together kneeling, and another kneeling. That's probably the family. We have twelve heat signature standing on the first level, and more upstairs, number unclear. We'll hit em from four sides. I'll take front, Ace in the back, Hawk to the left, Cam to the right. Do NOT shoot the civilians. Ok. Let's move."

The whole team seemed to breathe as they move as one. Cam shifted to the right of the building, still watching their surroundings as Ace got in positions in the back.

Cam glanced up, noticing a window above and made a note of that in her head as she got ready, waiting for Ghost's go.

"3...2....1....GOGOGO!!" Ghost slams the front door open, and drops the man threatening the woman before he can react. Ace cones in from the back and helps him eliminate the remaining downstairs resistance.

Cam and Hawk catch up with them at the bottom of the stairs. "Lets go."

Cam nodded at Ghost, looking to the stairs and following close behind Ace as they ascended the stairs. Her steps, despite being swift, were silent, even if they didn't need to be. Habit. She quickly glanced around, splitting from Ace's side to duck beside a cabinet, examining the room and covering Ghost and Hawk as they came up the stairs. The hallway seemed clear, but all the doors were locked down the hallway.

"The doors are locked, so we'll have to kick them in. We'll go one by one, and stack up two to each side of the door. Hawk, with Ace. Cam, with me. Let's go." He walks down the hall, M4 up and ready. Coming to the first door, he stands beside it, ready to fire as soon as it opens.

Cam looked to the others before lining up behind Ghost, watching as Hawk and Ace lined up on the other side.
Ace gave Cam a nod and she nodded back as he gave a solid kick, the door busting open.

Gunfire lances through the open doorway. Peeking around the corner, Ghost fires into the room. "Smoke it!" Hawk tosses the smoke into the room, and it quickly fills. They all rush in and clear the room, finding no one.

They continue down the hall, repeating the process. In the last room, gunfire lances out, but when Ghost fires in, the gunfire continues. Peeking around, he sees the bane of any soldier in enclosed spaces. An ADWS. An Area Denial Weapons System. "Shit! We have a major problem!" He yells above the noise.

Cam looked to him.

"Problem?" Ace called back, staying low.

Cam shifted, trying to get any view in the room without getting herself into view. She looked back at Ghost, waiting for instruction.

"Auto turret! Dual 10000 ammo boxes! Oscillating barrels!"

Cam shook her head and Ace cursed under his breath.

"Plan?" Cam asked as she lowered her gun sligjtly, looking behind them.

Ace looked over, listening.

"I've got an idea!" Pulling a grenade from his vest, but in a way that Cam can't exactly see what it is, he puts it in the grenadier on his M4. "Fire in the hole!" He peeks around the corner, fires the grenade, and immediately pushes Cam to the ground, covering her with his body as teh explosion goes off.

He helps her up. "Are you alright?"

Ace watched him fire and quickly dove away from the door.

Cam, surprised by Ghost's movements, grunted slightly as he shoved her and covered her.

Ace slowly sat up once the explosive went off and he glanced over to be sure everyone was okay.

"Everyone alright?"

"I'm good. A little banged up, but alright overall."

"Good." Ace said calmly, looking to Cam, who nodded as she sat up slowly.

"I'm good too." She looked to Ghost. "All clear?"

He peeks around the corner and sees the turret is smoking. "All clear." He walks in, and sees the blood. "Looks like there were guys in here, just in case we disabled the turret."

Cam follows close behind. "Yeah.." She turned at a sound, only to see a can that had fallen from a shelf.

Ace followed Hawk, watching the turrent a moment before looking around.

"Looks clear." Cam let the front of her gun drop some and she looked to Ghost.

"Lets get back to the family. We need to get them out of here."

Cam nodded. She glanced at Ace, who was examining the turrent. He was looking at the sparking wires.
"This was rigged to explode if we tried to disable it by cutting wires."
He said after a moment, frowning.

"Guess it's a good thing we didn't try that. Let's not touch the wires." Ghost heads back downstairs where the family was huddled in a corner. "Which of you is the man of the house?" No one answers.

Hawk steps forward to try. "¿Quién de vosotros es el hombre de la casa ?" Again, no answer.

Ghost tries one more time. "Lequel d'entre vous est l'homme de la maison ?"

"C'est moi." A man stands up.

Cam stays only a step behind Ghost, watching the corners and windows. No more surprise attacks.

Ace paused when he saw the family, frowning a little, but not saying anything. He glanced at the door, watching a moment before looking back at the family.
