BASIC
Name || Oddball
Location || Mainframe
Format || Sprite
Designation || Firewall
Key Tool || None
Weapon || Gun
Secondary || None

Written Appearance: Oddball is tall and muscular, even for a sprite, with a squared build and an even squarer jaw. He has short, spiked black hair and a red tinge to his skin. He is usually seen wearing a combat jumpsuit due to his firewall duties. Underneath his equipment, his skin is marred with glitching erosions and gashes, where battles with viruses, hackers, and other malcontents have left their mark.

Personality: Oddball, despite his name, is disciplined, orderly, predictable, and stoic. In a phrase, he is good soldier and takes his duties very seriously. He is also extremely intelligent and knowledgeable about the inner workings of Mainframe, its laws, and the seedier side of the system. However, he has all the charisma, charm, and humor of a chipotle enema. He hates hackers and viruses for their ability to disrupt the natural working order of Mainframe. He particularly despises the surviving followers of Megabyte.

Biography: Oddball began life as an analytical sprite working within the Principal Office. As an analyst, he was constantly studying the schematics and inner workings of Mainframe. Then, Megabyte came. While Oddball studied combat data, damage reports, and other pieces of information coming in from the adventures of luminaries such as Guardian Bob and the renegade Guardian Cadet Enzo Matrix, the analytical sprite never took to the field. Until Megabyte took over Mainframe. During the war, Oddball was forced into the role of scout and frontline soldier, as his accumulated studies of Mainframe's layout and infrastructure made him essential in navigating through enemy territory. The war left many scars on Oddball, both mentally and physically, and left him with a burning hatred of viruses and other malcontents.

After the war, Oddball had his designation reformatted from analyst to firewall. In many ways, he was like one of the Guardians, defending Mainframe from threats. Unlike Guardians, he was trained to ferret out malware, hackers, and viruses rather than destroy them. He put his prior analytical training to use as a detective, information gatherer, and spy - constantly searching for threats to the system on behalf of the Principal Office and the Guardians. If the Guardians were the sword, Oddball and the other firewalls were the eyes.

I believe binomes were all upgraded to sprites, according to the RP details.

@Razilin - this is correct. Because Binomes don't exactly translate to the written word so much as they do the show/comic, we opted that all Binomes in Mainframe have been upgraded to Sprites following the system update.
