Michael walked down 22nd street, feeling the warmth of the afternoon sun on his face. It was a lovely day in the city, the people went about their lives, scurrying this way and that. Cars sped down the boulevards, and honked angrily where they couldn't. Hell even the homeless people begging for change on the street seemed to have a slight spring in their demeanor as they sat at the street corners begging for change. Despite all of this, Michael was in a bit of dismay. The coffee shop he had been going to for the past few months on his lunch break had closed down and packed up shop. Just when he was starting to establish a routine it was pulled out from under him. Story of my life he thought with a slight chuckle, his head on a swivel looking for a place that seemed appealing. For no particular reason his eyes settled on a bakery. It was only a block or so away from the garage. He smiled "Worth a shot," he said out loud, running across the street towards the entrance.

[ made a IC thread for me and you. The other threads were meant for others who wanted to do the same plot with me XD ]

In Rosemary's opinion, it had been a very long and tiring day. At this time, it was the second rush our where it would be hella busy. The tables and seats were awaken by other college students who came in on time first and lounged around as they relaxed for the time being, and coffee was even spilled on her apron, slightly leaking through and staining her clothes below. The blonde was found rushing back and fourth, working quickly yet carefully and she sighed."Jesus!" She huffed exhausted, walking back behind the display as the other women took orders. She began to wipe above the glass display and couldn't keep quiet. She had to help so that the line died down at least! Tippy toeing, she yelled."NEXT!" And placed the rag underneath from where she stood, waiting for the next person as her fingers tapped over the glass.

Michael stepped into the store, immediately taking in the scent of fresh pastries. The place was filled with guys and girls about his age, and he had to remind himself that the local college wasn't far from his work. It didn't bother him that the place was packed, in fact he enjoyed the ambient noise of conversation. But college students might mistake him for one of their own and try socializing with him. The idea didn't sit very well with Michael. However since he was here he figured he might as well get a pastrie and some coffee before leaving. As nonchalantly and inconspicuous as possible he took a place in the small line at the counter which moved at about the same pace as his last lunch spot, much to his satisfaction.
