Rebirth of a Gang

Three years ago, the Tanaka gang ruled in the small town of Rosedale.

And the strangest thing about them, was that barely any of them have graduated highschool. Yet, they wielded weapons, used lethal force against rivals/anyone that'd be foolish enough to get in their way.

But, during a week where highschool was off for break, they caught wind of a new rival gang causing trouble. And while they knew of the rival, they didn't know of the soon to be threat to their lifestyle.

But that was nothing, compared to what they were going to encounter next.

An elite police team, known as "Taskforce 24". Called in by Rosedale's police department, in hopes that the team would be able to stomp out the gangs in Rosedale. Said team would the architect of the downfall of the Tanaka gang.

After calling a truce in order to deal with the rival gang, who were starting to become a bigger threat than the Tanaka gang. Even bordering on terrorism. Needless to say, they were doomed. Since they not only had a powerful gang, but one of the most skilled police's task force working with said gang.

With the threat of the rival gang gone, the Tanaka gang hoped that the truce would help them with being excused for some of the crimes that several members committed.

But, these hopes were stomped out, when a large number of police arrived at the front door of their main hideout. In order to escape, some of the members stayed behind, so that the leader and small escort could get away.

Their fates unknown. Escaped, arrested, or worse.

Fleeing from safehouse to safehouse, they were soon corned.

The leader of the gang, Natsume Tanaka, asked one of the members, Ryder Rowe to enact a plan that had been talked about a few months ago while on the topic of the future.

The plan was known as the "Lonesome Road." Where one of the members, known as Ryder, would distract the police, while the gang fled the town. By any means necessary, even if it meant death...

Before telling the rest of the members to enact the plan, "For pastures over yonder." Basically telling them to escape, and go their separate ways, into hiding.

With a sufficient amount of firepower, The gang member went to battle with the police.

Starting with opening fire upon the police department, not wanting to actually kill any, but enough to catch their attention. Using his knowledge of the city, and his driving skills. He led the police on a wild goose chase while the gang fled. Taking a few hits from the police's pistols.

After receiving the all clear from Natsume. Ryder changed his route from all over the city, to an abandoned warehouse. Where he limped inside.

The police were about to storm in, with the taskforce taking the lead. When Ryder detonated enough explosives to set the building alight, and keeping police at bay. Using the secret access tunnel that led to the outskirts of the city, Ryder made his escape. But not before detonating the last of the explosives. Effectively making it look like he had gone out with a bang, than a whimper.

Unfortunately, as part of the plan. He cut all communications with the gang. Traveling as far as he could away from the town. He went into hiding. Using a fake name, and taking small jobs to make end's meet.

Which ended three years after the event, as Ryder received a text from an anonymous source.

One that told him to head to where the ashes of the Tanaka gang had settled.

Natsume was the one that brought Remi to the gang. Natsume usually doesn't show a lot of affection but she does care of the girl. She's one of the first ones she called when Natsume decided to restart the gang again.

Ryder Rowe | Friend:
Natsume met Ryder when he ran into her car with his motorcycle. After that, she offered for him to join the gang. They became friends and grew closer as time went on. She felt a bit bad to cut ties with him after they had to leave, but she trusted him in doing an important job.

Misheru Tachibana | Friend:
After Misheru joined the gang, Natsume and her became friends. Natsume treats her like family, just like the others. She wants to protect her and make sure she feels like she belongs with them.

Kiri Tanaka-Yori | Family and Friend:
Kiri is Natsume's second cousin, however, Natsume has grown to like the girl as a younger sister. She cares about her and wants to protect her no matter what. She also wants KT to know and understand that she will always have a home with Natsume.

Natsume has learned how to fight well, thanks to her uncle. She has taken over his Dojo and even teaches now. She isn't the best with guns since she started learning them at age 18, but as time passes she had gotten better. Natsume is the leader of the gang so she has skills that she needs to be a good one.

Quirks:
Natsume is usually very calm, however, if there is something that sets her off, she is terrifying. She is dangerous and may have some sort of mental disorder that makes her a bit crazy. She also becomes even stronger.

Bio:
Natsume was born to a prestigious and wealthy family that didn't want her. Natsume was an accident, however, because her parents didn't want to ruin their reputation in society they didn't get rid of the child or put her up for adoption when she was born. But, that wasn't a good thing for Natsume. They didn't take care of her very well. They did a good enough job when she was a baby but when she started to get old enough, she had to do everything for herself. She had to cook, wash her old cloths, so on.

Her parents ignored her most of the time, or treated her like a stain on their family. They punished her often for nothing at all, and made her stay in her room a lot. She needed something to do so Natsume spent her time in her room reading and learning a lot of skills and knowledge. There was one place that was solace for Natsume though, her uncle's mansion. Her uncle, Ryuu Tanaka was the sole owner of the Tanaka Mansion. Ryuu treated Natsume more like a father than an uncle and invited her over often. There she would learn how to fight with him at his Dojo and help out around the place in order to get money. After she was old enough her parents forced her to pay for her own things at home, so Ryuu paid her for helping out at the Dojo.

Natsume had wanted to move in with Ryuu, an offer he had given her but her parents wouldn't allow it, still because of their reputation. Although her parents and the rest of her family didn't care about her, she did feel like she had a home with Ryuu. He made her happy.

Unfortunately, Ryuu was kidnapped by a gang and died in the end. She created her gang because she believed the police did nothing and she wanted to take over so that nothing like that would happen again. Thus, the Tanaka Gang was born.

They became the strongest, but the police caught them off guard and Natsume didn't want any of her members to die. So, she created a plan. All of them went their separate ways and any information on them was destroyed.

A few years later, Natsume finally discovered that she was the sole owner of the Tanaka mansion thanks to her uncle and with her return and power through her status now, she wants to rebuild the gang.

Natsume was the one who brought Remi to the gang. She looks up to Natsume and considers her a friend.

Remi met Ryder through the gang. She got to know him a bit and tends to supply him with parts for his motorcycle if he wants her to. She hopes that they will see each other again and be a family again.

Misheru Tachibana | Friend:
Remi and Misheru became friends when she joined the gang. They work together many times since their roles in the gang are very similar. She likes her and enjoys hanging around her.

She can easily get anything no matter how hard it seems, or how strange the item is. She knows a lot of people who she uses to get items that fellow members or friends need her to get.

Quirks:
Remi is a Chuunibyou. She asks childish usually, and believes she's either a magical girl, super hero or even villain. She tends to change it up, which is confusing as well. She will cosplay all the time and loves grand entrances even though she'll end up getting injured during them. However, those injuries don't seem to phase her as she has gotten used to it.

Bio:
Remi's father and mother meant while her mother was taking a trip to Japan. The two fell in love and her mother had decided to stay in Japan to her with her father. After some time, the two married, though it was quite faster than usual. Then they had Remi.

Remi was born as the only child to a young couple. Because of this they spent all their attention on her and gave her everything she wanted as a child. The love she felt from her parents made her a very outgoing child. Since she also got what she wanted she watched a lot of TV where she saw many magical girl anime and anything else she wanted. She already had a strong imagination but the girl decided to stay to copy what she saw and cosplay as the characters.

Her parents supported her fantasies that she made up as a kid, thinking that she would grow out of it and they didn't want to hurt her feelings. Though, it only made Remi worse and she began to believe her fantasy was part of reality. They took her to the doctor and they were told that she had eighth-grade syndrome. Although they were told to get help, they didn't and let Remi continue with her delusions.

In the end this might have been a bad idea since she is already 18 and still seems to act differently compared to most people. Her parents still let her do what she wants because they are too nice to do anything about it. Eventually, Remi joined a gang. Her strange antics made people not really fond of her and she couldn't make very many friends. It was this that caused Natsume Tanaka, the leader, to welcome her into their gang. She accepted because it fit with her delusions. Her parents believe that her gang membership is only fake even though it is quite real. She grew to love the gang and feels like there's nothing that can replace it.

She apparently knows a lot of people in order to get all the things she can get whenever asked by a gang member, whether it's weaponry or something simple like common items. She has meant these people through all of her strange antics and adventures she takes. She sometimes switches what she believes she is, sometimes believing she is some sort of super villain, hero or a magical girl even though most of the time a person with her syndrome would have one identity.

Since the police didn't see her as a threat, she simply went home and has stayed there until the return of the gang. Of course, she didn't know they would get back together for the past three years, but she always said she had a feeling they would get together again.

Bio:
Luke was the only child of a poor family that lived in Rosedale. His parents saved up every penny and dime they had so they could afford for him to attend a private school. Most of the other kids at the private school considered themselves to be in a social class above Luke, but nonetheless Luke found friends among the other poor kids that attended his school.

In highschool Luke and his friends saw an opportunity. The rich kids around them had too much time and too much money. Luke and his friends set up a drug distribution ring for the schools around Rosedale. Luke would drive to pick up and drop off the weed, molly, and whatever else they were selling because he was the only one old enough for a driver's license.

It wasn't long until Luke had more money than he knew what to do with, so he spent it on what every teenage boy would, cars and clothes. By the time Luke was eighteen he had enough money to rent a nice house, and drive a custom-tuned Mitsubishi Lancer.

When the Tanaka gang formed, it was only natural for Luke and his friend's little organization to get absorbed. Luke would still occasionally run drugs for the gang, but he spent most of his time ferrying around the higher-ups of the gang and being an escape driver for jobs.

Everything was going well for Luke, until the day his best-friend Sam was caught messing around with the police chief's daughter. When Luke saw Sam getting beaten by a blue-uniformed goon, he couldn't help himself but defend his friend. Luke grabbed a lead pipe, hit the officer over the head and told Sam to run. Sam managed to escape, but the policeman chased Luke. The high-speed pursuit ended with a police cruiser smashing into the side of Luke's car.

At nineteen years old Luke was sentenced to four years in prison for assaulting a police officer, destruction of public property, obstruction of justice and evading arrest. They impounded his car, took his house, and froze his bank account. Most of Luke's prison sentence was spent learning card tricks, and building a muscular frame.

It was only a year ago that Luke was released. Since his release he has been living in one of his friend's basements selling pot to who ever in Rosedale was looking to buy, and trying to save up enough money for a place and car of his own.

Remi - Like the rest of the gang, Ryder treated her with respect. For, she did help him get supplies for his motorcycle, and weapons.[Post-Lonesome Road] Everyone in the gang overall - Ryder misses them with all of his heart. Afterall, they were technically family.
Skills: Expert driver, marksman and hand to hand combat. He knows how to fix up cars, be it with actual tools, or using whatever materials that would last until the broken part can either be replaced or fixed.
Quirks: He will always be seen wearing a mask, or helmet of sorts to cover his burn scars. Which were gained four years ago. He also uses a tape recorder to communicate.
Bio: Not much is known about Ryder's past prior to joining the Tanaka gang. But, most can assume he served in the military, due to his obvious military skills, but if you asked any of the people who know him, they will tell you that he hasn't served in any branch. Which means, someone that has been in the military trained him. Anyways, a year before joining the Tanaka gang, Ryder was just a simple delivery person. Driving around town, delivering packages for people. That is until an accident occurred on a highway, where a fuel truck's cargo spilled over the road, and a stray spark from a wire set it alight. Ryder suffered burns to the right side of his face, and along his right shoulder. Now onto the day where Ryder joined the Tanaka gang. It started like any other day, he was delivering packages, and things were going good, until thugs wanted the package Ryder was delivering. And as he was evading them, Ryder was sent flying off of his motorcycle from driving into what would be revealed to be Natume's car. He would've been shot, had Natsume not intervened. Soon after saving him, she asked him to join, and since she did save his life. He joined.

Misheru came to Lindow after the match, treated his wounds, talked and scolded him for getting so beat up. The two would continue to see each other as Misheru would watch him fight and treat his wounds afterwards about several times each month with the usual scolding. One day however one of Lindow's rematch opponents would make an obscene gesture towards Misheru in the middle of the match, following afterwards said opponent was left beaten within an inch of his life by the end. The end which was called as three other fighters had to hold him back. Post match Lindow would say to Misheru that something along the lines of..."You are my doctor, so if anyone wrongs you they gotta answer to me." The two have been closer ever since.

Lindow is known to be a very honorable person in the sense that he practically never lies or as he is more well known for; never throwing fights/intentionally losing. It goes without saying that in the world that he resides in, being so immovably honorable can get oneself into horrible situations.

Lindow has a very short fuse and has his fair share of anger issues. Though if someone he respects tells him to calm down or shut up he will generally do so immediately. (This is generally someone whom he knows could kick his ass but it is not the only thing.)

Bio:
Lindow Tadayoshi was raised in a poor neighborhood that resided deep within Rosedale by a single mother. Lindow's mother worked hard to make sure that she could feed her growing boy whom by the age of fourteen was already hitting huge growth spurts. Almost everyday after school Lindow would come home with bruises on his arms and face because he would always get into fights whether he started them or not. At the age of sixteen Lindow would lose his mother to sickness brought on by accumulating amounts of stress. On her death bed she would say these words that would forever by engraved into Lindow as he would sit at her side clenching his bruised fists..."I've raised you so that you could be an honorable man...a better man that your father who left before you entered the world. No matter what you do with those hands of yours my little "Rocky"...I know you will make me proud."

It was shortly after this when Lindow dropped out of high school and took to the streets to begin his career of fighting in underground fight clubs. It was tough for him starting off but his natural talent for brawling would always pull him through. After some time Lindow really began to enjoy his new found profession. He was getting paid to use his fists in the fights the use to cause him nothing but trouble and he started to accumulate some friendships from the fight club scene. Friends who would cheer Lindow on during his fights and buy him a beer afterwards. But one night these "friends" of Lindow tried to get him to through a fight so that they could make some huge cash on the betting odds because Lindow was the crowd favorite. Lindow refused as he would recall the words of his mother and would go on to fight as he always has and ended up winning. After that fight Lindow's "friends" would find him in the nearby alley and they would bring their metal pipes and knives along with them, itching for some payback. Already tired after the scheduled fight Lindow would have some difficulty fighting off the three armed assailants and would suffer some internal bleeding and decent cuts but the injuries were nothing serious while as Lindow would leave his three ex acquaintances knocked out in that dark alley with nothing but broken noises and fractured ribs to show for it.

A few days later a man would approach Lindow outside of his apartment. The man was a recruiter for the Tanaka gang and he had witnessed some of Lindow's previous fights as well as the incident that occurred a few nights ago. The man would see Lindow as some good new additional muscle for the Tanaka gang and after a few moments of consideration Lindow would accept the man's offer. Lindow had a decent assumption about what he was getting himself into. People who are hired as muscle are meant to just stand their and look scary or do grunt work. Muscle isn't paid to talk; which is a thought that would creep into Lindow's mind as himself and the man continued to walk and Lindow basically just stayed silent as he would continue to ponder as he would await to see if he could make himself a name in the Tanaka gang, like how he made a name for himself in the underground fighting circuits; with the two hands that his mother blessed him with. His two fists that have brought him up from the dirt and kept him living on.

I didn't want to step on any toes by just saying this random man with this name exists in the Tanaka gang. I did have a variant history story line where near the end Lindow stumbles upon Natsume's dojo where a confrontation and the recruitment into the gang would occur. But I decided against it thinking that I shouldn't be bothering ScarletNova about it cause I would need her persmission to use the dojo and that may probably cause a relationship between the characters. Lindow should be new blood if you will to be fair and all.

In short if you would rather just prefer for the man to have a bloody name then he shall be named Danny Minamoto

She also sees her as her sister, having not have any siblings, and she is eternally grateful for everything she has done for the light blonde. It may be slightly absurd to say, but she feels that Natsume understands her mental disorder slightly better than others.

Remi Yamada (Friendly)- Misheru enjoys spending her time with Remi despite what many assumes of her. In fact, she wants to protect her from being hurt even though she does not feel the hurt itself. Although, she will admit that she finds Remi so cute that she does hug her a lot.

Ryder Rowe (Friendly rivalry)- Having heard quite a bit of the male, Misheru respects him for what he has done for the gang, despite not actually not having any obligation to. He's a good friend, but she likes to challenge him on small matters for the fun of teasing him, or even start her gears moving.

Lindow Tadayoshi (Romantic)- The two met when Misheru decided she was done with medical school for that day. She happened to stumble upon an illegal fight club a colleague of hers mentioned to her before. After Lindow's fight, he had obviously required medical attention, but no one but herself was experienced, as such, she began treating him from that day onward. Although, she does reprimands him for being a brickhead, as his defense was not too good. One day, he went a bit over the top by almost beating an opponent of his into a pulp, and Lindow told her, "...You are my doctor, so if anyone wrongs you they gotta answer to me.". From that day on, they have become closer.

She is diagnosed with multiple personality disorder. Due to circumstances, Misheru's personalities mainly comprises of three: her usual easygoing and innocent self, her harsh and merciless other self, as well as her sadistic and psychotic self.

Bio:
Misheru Tachibana was an average child growing up. This might seem ideal to many parents, no troubles whatsoever, but to her father, it was not enough. Why? Because he was the Minister of Defense of the country. She needed to keep up with the stereotypical standards printed onto children of political leaders. As a result, she was sent away to a boarding school where she was tortured almost every other day if she did not follow up to the 'grade scale' she was given.

At the age of sixteen, the light blonde was sent home after completing her secondary education early. That was about three years since she was secretly diagnosed with her disorder. After having enrolled into a well-known university, her true life began. One night, when she had stayed late at one of the laboratories to complete her assignment, a fellow student who was about to tamper with some files broke in, and that was when her psychotic self was unleashed. Unfortunately, she had not realize someone was watching her, a fellow member of the Tanaka gang. A few days later, she was given the offer to join the gang. It would not be to her disadvantage if she did not join, but she decided she was done letting herself being tied down. Ever since then, she had used her father's position as leverage for the gang and other businesses.
