Ray Heart (Completed/Finished)

Kyrian would suddenly be hugged by the Bloodhawk, even though his tone was cold like he was busy, the Bloodhawk was happy to see his friend was safe and somewhat sound " Kyrian! You little healer you! I'm glad you are safe, I thought they got you too. " Kaz placed the healer back down with a wide smile on his face. The Bloodhawk looked back at the Yeothal gang and saw Nyxus, he pointed at the lizard man then looked to Kyrian " That one is also a friend, he's not hurt but in case he does get hurt. " Kaz explained as he leaned into him " I don't think he's from here either. " The Bloodhawk whispered just as he looked back at Nyxus before looking back at Kyrian.

~

As Kaz was finally healed, he stood up and clenched his hand into a fist, seeing he was able to once again and smiled " Finally! I can punch people again and use my cursed powers again. " Kaz put his hand out and tried to conduct electricty through his fingers but saw and felt he was unable to. Kaz looked indifferent like he wasn't surprised " Well that's not good. " Kaz growled, his eye twitched a little like he frustrated and angry.

Just as Kaz tried to activate his powers and was unable to, the doors opened again and that was when Verity and Solomon walked in. " Huuh! Pretty lady. " Kaz whispered when he saw Verity, he hadn't seen her in a couple of days, he remembered she said she was going to go find the red skinned woman from the other night. Oh yeah, Kaz had to go get a job from her after this. His eyes moved over to Solomon where Kaz sighed, almost as if he didn't care for the man, but Kaz saw how he fought the first night when Kaz appeared in this city, his magic was very volatile like his. He would love to fight him in a magic battle to see who was better and stronger. Kaz moved forward through the crowd of Yeothal's gang just as another gang appeared, or whatever they were.

Some sharp dressed man and his gang of black garbed men, Kaz snorted and clenched his fists, they didn't look like they were dressed for a blood wedding. They looked ready to fight. The Bloodhawk smirked as Yeothal began to berate the man and weapons were drawn, Kaz hopped on his toes and shook his body out, getting his muscles loose and ready. Then suddenly a number of men came from the shadows and began to fight, suddenly all Kaz could hear was the sounds of battle. Blood splattering, bones shattering, muscles ripping, metal slamming through flesh and bone. Screaming of men, bodies dropping on the floor. It was all coming back to the Bloodhawk.

Kaz had his teeth clenched, watching men die in front of him reminded him of so many fights and battles he had in the past, mass chaos. The memories began to overlap what was happening in front of him, watching gore splatter across the floorboards in front of him. Kaz could help but smile, not a happy smile, but a thirsty and evil smile. The smell of blood filled his nostrils and it was intoxicating. Kaz was almost drooling, he fists were clenched so tightly, they trembled, his eyes looked over to Nyxus, eyes full of lust for blood. " I thrive for this. " Kaz whispered as he placed a strong hand on Nyxus' shoulder, like a brother would. " See you after the fight. " Kaz turned to find his first victim.

Seeing one of the strangely dressed men fighting a Yeothal thug, the Bloodhawk raced off immediately towards the man, forgetting about his own weapon, Kaz raised both fists and slammed his fists down over the man's head as hard as he could. When the man stumbled Kaz jumped and kicked the back of the man's knee to make him kneel. Kaz punched the back of the man's head, when he was on the ground, the Bloodhawk proceeded to stomp the man's head in, smiling as gore flew up into the air and all over him. KICH KICH KICH KICH KICH KICH. The sickening sounds filled Kaz' ears. The feeling of blood on his skin gave Kaz a adrenaline boost, and he felt replenished, he felt new.

Once this one was dead, his head turned and his orange eye looked for his new victim as he wore a sickening smile. He loved this, he thrived from death, he wanted blood. This would be the most fun he has had since leaving the tribes.

Kyrian managed to heal Kaz, before his power faded away. This was different from Kasm playing with him yesterday- as it felt like someone had forced Kasm away- something Kasm wouldn't like. Shit, that left him powerless, and somewhat useless when it came to fighting. He knew how to defend himself, and could stab someone with his knife, but he wasn't proficient in fighting- which left him at a severe disadvantage with these ninjas.

Kyrian's world narrowed, and he had two obvious goals- save his patrons, and get his powers back. His cloak was wrapped around around him, keeping any stray snow from hitting his skin- becoming merfolk here without his magic would cause his untimely demise. Most of the patrons of the church, unwell as they were had fled, but a few people were older and needed direction. There was a reason his patron loved the church- there were secrets that the church held- exits and hiding spots and bolt-holes. If Naeva and Thorne looked hard enough, the extremely old, dirty and dusty tapestry would hide a small hole they could escape the room from.

When everyone had been safely evacuated from the building, he raced after Solomon, the clearly competent one of the pair of Knights. He knew the shadows of the church, hoping to keep himself out of harm's way- that Yeothal's men would distract the ninjas as best as they could. He knew his church inside and out, and could provide the Knight insight that came from being the leader of this church, sad and decrepit as it was. He stayed in the shadows, his trusty knife in hand, a last defense if anyone chose to came at him. "Knight, I'm here to help. I'm sure you need your magic as much as I do, but if I don't get my magic back, we might all die." Kyrian said to Solomon as soon as he saw him. "If we bring the battle outside, we might gain our magic back, but I can't guarantee that could work. If possible, call for help- I don't know how long we can last on our own." Kyrian wasn't about to outright insult Verity, but Solomon was the knight to help, considering she was tossing her life away. She had a brain, and as long as a person had their brain they had a chance.

The blanket (folded) that Kyrian had given Navea last night while she was sleeping in a pew fell from her lap as she suddenly stood. The sound of battle filled the silence of the small backroom and shoved back thoughts concerning the conversation between Thorne and Kyrian, filling her senses. She tunned her ears to listen more carefully and heard the sound of nearby rooms being ravaged loudly and clear. Shit.

Just then a hard object fell from the ceiling and onto her shoulder, causing Navea to breathe in sharply through her nose. That would leave a bruise. Her instincts reacted before she could and caught the glowing green orb before it could hit the ground. She took a moment to observe the thing in her hand, looking over the sphere with wonder. Is this what they were after? A battalion of ninjas after... this? Navea wondered just how much it could sell for...

She shoved that thought to the back of her mind as the sound of a nearby door in the adjourning hallway was slammed. They had to leave now.

Another object, something heavy and sharp, fell at her feet in a clatter. She jumped backward, expecting to meet a wall at her back. Instead, she fell backward, a large tapestry catching her before she could fall into the hole behind it. Navea jumped to her feet and spun to flip up the tapestry to reveal an exit big enough to crawl through. She looked back at Thorne.

"I have the green thing," she whispered. "Let's get the fuck out of here."

She crawled into the hole on her hands and knees and quickly began to make her way through. Navea had long since defeated claustrophobia, so this was no issue. But fear of what could lie at the end of the tunnel made her breathing just a little bit difficult.

Well at least the priest had healed his wounds so they weren’t constantly aching. The feeling of the room seemed to change as Kyrian left to address the newcomers to the church. Thorne took the time to stand up and watch through a crack in the door as the priest went out to address the new arrivals. Things seemed to ramp up even more with even more new people, these people seemed to be after something, but Thorne couldn’t quite make out what the conversation was about. The only thing he heard in the exchange was the word “orb” before his entire stockpile was ejected from his dimension. Thorne quickly dashed to the side to avoid getting crushed by his safe full of money. His other weapons also spilled out, but he quickly picked those up and put them in their respective holsters on him. He also took the time to quickly switch out his mask and cloak, along with tossing an extra cloak to Naeve. “Take this, hopefully it will make it harder for them to recognize us,” he said. He then went into the tunnel with her, not questioning the existence of an escape tunnel in a church. “And don’t lose that orb, or it won’t just be us who will be in trouble. I don’t know what they want to do with it, but I was told that it is something people have fought wars for,” He finally informed Naeve.

After sighting some familiar faces and meeting some new ones, Nyxus was plunged into another conflict, yet again. After the entrance of another shifty man, Yeothal's hostile response to them, and the sudden appearance of strange men clad in dark clothing, the church had shifted from a tranquil place of worship to a bloody battlefield. Nyxus watched dumbfoundedly as the two rival gangs clashed, seeing the men who rescued him slaughtered like cattle. Death would surely befall him if he did not act quickly.

His accomplice Kaz seemed to be more delighted in the face of this skirmish: Nyxus watching him brutalize the closest enemy. The sudden shift from childish naivety to bloodthirsty violence was off-putting, to say the least. Nyxus couldn't match such savagery, but he was not going to stand around and end up like his fellow escapees. With a sudden burst of vigor, Nyxus drew his sword with one quick motion, eyeing a target just ahead of him. He reached behind himself with his free hand and undid the buckle to his small knapsack, pulling out a plump Ethercap. In one gulp, he hastily consumed the glowing fungus and waited for the surge of arcane power to course through him.

But it did not come.

Nyxus did not feel his power flow throughout his draconic veins, nor the beloved feeling of tranquility filling his mind - the only thing he felt was the cruel wintery gusts and the bitter taste of the Ethercap on his tongue. Nyxus' eyes went wide with a mixture of confusion and disbelief: never has an Ethercap failed to unlock his abilities. Eventually, he began to recall a strange weight to the air before the clash started: it was an oppressing feeling that didn't weigh down on his body, but something settling within him; his magic. He originally dismissed it as a side-effect from not consuming an Ethercap, but it all became very clear: his magic was being suppressed. Nyxus did not notice any mages enter the church - there was something around here blocking him from tapping into his abilities.

Finding that source was a worry for another time; there were still enemies approaching him. Nyxus figured he wouldn't be of much use without his magic: his body was not sturdy enough to withstand a barrage of attacks from these new threats. A quieter, more subtle approach would benefit him in his current state. The harsh winter winds paired with the snow would make a perfect veil for him to sneak away from the frontlines and towards a better position.

Using the snow to conceal himself, Nyxus crouched down and began to move away from the center of the commotion, making his way over to the opposite side of the church. His grip tightened on the hilt of his sword as he moved past crowds of shouting men - the tell-tale sounds of clashing steel filling the air.

House of Kazm

Verity's heroic and diplomatic efforts fell to not. In the chaos, few could hear and even fewer gave credence to the words of one pleading beast folk. However, her words did have an effect. Some of Yeothal's men and the stranger's ninjas were drawn in by Verity's presence amidst the fighting. Some of the men saw her as a knight that deserved just as much of their vengeance as the scar-faced man. The bunny woman's racial agility and eldritch knight training spared her the worst of it, but she received some bruises and a ripped skirt for her troubles. Able to narrowly evade most of the mercantile attacks, Verity had to choose her next course of action as her enemies approached her again. Meanwhile, the ninjas that had came in behind her and solomon decided to spectate rather than get involved for some reason.

Kyrian's efforts were not in vain, but they were also not as helpful as he hoped. While the church was riddled with escape options like a sieve, the structural integrity of the old cathedral showed its dark side. Some exits were collapsed or too caved in for use by the larger parishioners. Some tunnels actually collapsed mid-use, crushing the would be escapees. Others were viable forms of escape but were no longer secret due to portions of wall or roof exposed the interior. The result was for as many as Kyrian 'helped', he also doomed. If they weren't killed by a fall, getting crushed, or spontaneously ninja'd for trying to escape, some of the escape tunnels led to the sewers from which few were ever heard from again...

Eventually Kyrian would regroup with Solomon on a higher level. Creaky wooden planks serving as floorboards over spots where the stone flooring was failing made some of the footing unstable. They had little time to adjust or greet each other when Solomon discovered what he was searching for. It was about the size and shape of a potatoe but had a paler coloration and rougher texture. Solomon would recall seeing a massive chunk of this stuff embedded in a hunk of stone mined from mountains in the human region of the world. Anticyte. Solomon, alone, would know it was this material that could be find in trace amounts in Knight handcuffs to block supernatural phenomena. It was claimed to have been in much more abundance in a bygone age and used to wage war against the gods or some other threat to humankind. Depending on how it was laced into other items and materials, it produced various effects revolving around nullification. Certain fae and undead ceased to exist in concentrated amounts of the mineral. The potato object Solomon was witnessing was a more fragile and more concentrated form of the material. It would be easy enough to destroy if Solomon could get his hands on it. The force of a hammer or throwing it against the stone walls of the church would likely cause it to crumble. In its crumbled state, it would not have nearly the same potency. However, Solomon also had a sour realization. It would take several such anticyte potatoes to nullify the whole church. Likely they were scattered all over the building and they wouldn't necessarily need to be in the building either.

Before Solomon could make a move on the potato and begin the arduous process of hunting down as many as he could or otherwise, 2 ninjas dropped down from the rafters with blades drawn. They closed in on Solomon and Kyrian. Behind them was the potato resting on one of the crossbeams about 3 yards up from the place Solomon and Kyrian stood. To Solomon's left was broken railing that looked down on one off the church wings' ground floors. Battle was taking place down there too. to Solomon's right was stone wall and the occasional side room. Behind Solomon was Kyrian and further behind Kyrian was the stairs back to ground floor.

Kaz's blood bath drew the attention of multiple ninjas, ones that did not seem to have trouble dealing with an unarmed opponent. Other than the ones Kaz got a hold of, the rest merely danced in and out of range of their blades to slice at Kaz over and over again. Kaz was was now suffering wounds that made his previous stint at the tavern look tame. Other than the blood loss which was quickly mounting, some of the slices he received were deep enough to mess with his ability to move his body like he intended. If he continued fighting like he was, he'd like get debilitated at the least, regardless of the bodies he stacked before then. Fighting with Bob and the other Mercantile, he wasn't all on his own however. The rest of the men were still putting up a fight with a majority of Yeothal's elites still holding their own. Bob, in particular, slung his hammer with a speed unbecoming the weapon. Ninjas continued to fly left and right if they got to close. Meanwhile, Yeothal squared off directly with the scar-face, both men using their swords while taunting or swearing at each other.

Nyxus was fairly unsuccessful in his stealthy escape. The battle had spread out quite a bit and there wasn't nearly enough snow coming down in the cathedral to hide his flight. However, the ninjas in this area were hanging back for some reason. Instead, Nyxus just saw and handful of mercantile men ganging up on Verity or having a staring match with the ninjas. Too afraid to fight. Too afraid to run. Nyxus would see some other shadow warriors handing in the wings near the exits nearby. They had weapons drawn and ready to pounce any who gave them reason to.

Naeva and Thorne were able to get properly equipped from Thorne's exposed stash, however, it was time they did not have. As they started making their way into the secret tunnel, one of the ninjas burst to the room in time to witness their exit. He immediately whistled for allies before giving chase. The narrow tunnel was decrepit, cold, and downward slanting. Single file as they were, looking back was nearly impossible and turning around was out of the question. They could only press on in hopes the tunnel took them in a more advantageous place than where they were. The tunnel tremored as they crawled. It might collapse at any moment. Meanwhile, the ninja was gaining on powerless thorne who was not as fast as naeva and even less so in his weakened state.

Kaz was able to grab another one of these sleek black dressed men that got too close while fighting another one of Yeothal's men. Kaz grabbed some broken pew leg that broke off from others fighting amidst the chaos. Kaz raised it high and slammed the broken wood down on the man's head, breaking skull as blood splashed up into thr air. Kaz raised the leg again and slammed it down once more as he was able to crack through the skull and into brain. Gore splashed on Kaz' face and body, his smile wide and intense, his eyes wide as they stared at the mess in front of him. Kaz was enjoying his time so far, then he felt a faint pain in his back, then he felt warm liquid flow down his back like water.

He turned and felt his back feeling the blood and seeing one of these stupidly dressed men with a bloodied edged sword. Kaz looked at him and growled, in his bloodlusted state he could barely feel the pain now, didn't mean it didn't annoy him or agitate him even more. If Kaz could he would burn these stupidly dressed fools into ash and bone. Kaz moved forward feel another across his chest, this went in deeper than the day previous, Kaz growled feeling the faint pain and the warm liquid spill through his clothes. Now he was getting angry. The Bloodhawk took a step forward and dunked as a sword slashed above his head, Kaz knew it, they reacted as he moved! Kaz' hand reached out and grabbed the arm holding the sword. The Bloodhawk pulled him forward and with a agape mouth and the ninja now in his grasp, he clamped his teeth down on the throat of the ninja and tore into them like a dog with a slab of meat. Kaz tasted blood and his ears filled with the screams of the doomed ninja. Kaz held his arm to prevent him from attacking, and since Kaz was having a higher pain tolerance, small hits wouldn't do much to him. Kaz then finally having enough, ripped the throat out from his bare teeth, blood showered into the air as it rained down on top of him, soaking him in the iron scented liquid. Kaz dropped the dying ninja as he held his throat, with widen eyes like he wasn't expecting to die.

The Bloodhawk spat the flesh down at the ninja before he felt another slash on his arm. Kaz almost roared. He was getting sick of this shit! These fucking cowards! " Fucking COWARDS! " Kaz roared, in the corner of his eye he saw a quick flash, Kaz was able to back up to dodge another slash that was aimed for his neck now. The Bloodhawk then stepped forward and kicked the man between his legs when he assumed a stance that left him open for such a attack, the ninja doubled over leaving him open for a attack. Kaz moved forward and kicked the sword out of the hands as his hands grasped the man's head, thumbs slammed into the eye sockets of the ninja as now he could only emit screams of terror and pain, blood squirted out and onto Kaz, he could feel his strength returning again like previously! The Bloodhawk digging his thumbs deeper and deeper as he drove a knee up into the stomach of the ninja to make sure he didn't do anything. Kaz then, having control of this ninja with his thumbs in his eyes, pulled his upper body down with his head while bringing a knee up and slamming it into the jaw of the ninja, he felt something cracked as Kaz let the man go and kicked him away. Whether he was dead or not, the ninja was out of the fight.

Now Kaz backed up as the ninjas began to choose their times to strike, Kaz showed he wasn't no pushover, he could take a few slashes and cuts and retaliate back if he wanted to. They may have been trained to kill but they certainly weren't trained to take a hit or try to get away from someone like Kaz. Kaz grabbed one of the ninjas Swords as he backed up into what was left of Yeothal's gang, and Bob! He was still alive! Good, he needed to find Nyxus and Kyrian, make sure those two were still alive.

Kaz hated using weapons but with his powers not working for some damn reason, he had to resort to this. This wasn't home anymore where everyone used their hands and abilities and weapons were optional, this was a totally different place where weapons were always used and fists hardly. If Kaz wanted to survive this, he needed to use their methods of fighting, as cowardly and pathetic it was, it was the only way for Kaz to achieve his goal. Or if he wanted to try and achieve that goal at the least.

The Bloodhawk watched the ninjas try to close in on him and the others, when any got close, Kaz would quickly dodge before delivering a deadly strike with either a stab through the chest or a slash across the throat. Just because Kaz used his fists didn't mean he didn't know how to use basic weapons like a sword. Or a pew leg. " How many of these cowards are there? Kol-lash Detet! " Great, now Kaz' Bloodhawk language was spilling out. Kaz' eyes looked around trying to find Nyxus or someone he trusted in a fight, while yes, Bob was someone he liked, he didn't know the brute and that could be a problem. Or Kyrian! Where was that damn healer! He disappeared just after healing him! He hoped he was okay, Kyrian could be a bit skittish and kinda weird.

Kaz then noticed that Yeothal was fighting that scarred face man, that stupid looking man. Kaz wanted to slash that man's eye out! He could be leading these damn ninja's, kill him the rest disperse. Hopefully. Maybe. Hard to say with this damn city and whatever fickle entity control this life. Kaz got too comfortable and careless as his shoulder was slashed from the side, Kaz gasped in pain and clenched his teeth " I'll rip your fucking throat out! " Kaz quickly stabbed his sword where he felt the pain come from and his sword met its mark, through the side of another ninja that tried to turn and run away. Kaz grabbed the shoulder of the man and pulled him in, their back against his chest, with a sword sticking out through their side. There wasn't much they could do with a angry bloodhawk controlling them. Kaz smiled, hopefully this next scene of violence would scare anyone that tried to come for him next. Kaz' hand grabbed the throat of the ninja and squeezed down, fingers entering flesh as he felt blood on his fingers. He gripped something and ripped on out the throat of the ninja as blood protruded out of the agape hole of the man. Kaz dropped the throat and pushed the man forward slightly as he picked up the sword they dropped as he left the previous sword within. Kaz smirked, that blood made his strength return again, he felt anew, his injuries only stung now, " Bobby boy! What's the plan? Doesn't look like Yeothal will have a gang soon! " Kaz chuckled at his own joke. Kaz' eyes watching any of the ninajs that tried to get close to them, any that would, would get blocked and slashed by Kaz. They needed a better plan of attack, Kaz wasn't sure of how many he's killed so far. But he hoped the fighting wouldn't end yet, there was still such he could do!

As Kaz raised his sword up he felt his vision almost drop then return to normal, he felt light headed suddenly and looked up to watch the ninjas again, Kaz lost a lot of blood, it was hard to tell since he was covered head to toe in that same liquid. The same life force. He felt like he was at full power but the loss of blood began to weigh on him again, looking to his arm where he got slashed, he saw the cut was deeper than the one he previously got the day before. Kaz knew the loss of blood would slow him down even if his Bloodhawk blood gave him a advantage to always keep fighting, eventually after enough injuries a Bloodhawk will go down. Their bodies were hardy but not indestructible, Kaz would fight as long as he needed to or could.

Verity

Verity had managed to gather the attention of some of the crowd, but it was far less effective as she'd hoped it to be. Worse yet, she'd been forced to start evading attacks from the Yeothal gang. She was surprised that she was feeling a fair bit more annoyed by it than she should be. Maybe being magic-less was getting on her nerves. “Really? After I was nice enough to warn you guys that you were putting yourself at risk of being betrayed, you attack me for trying to stop us all from slaughtering each-other...?” She wasn't planning on trying to dodge them for long, as that'd be too much of a risk, so she'd need to try to pacify at least these folks sooner rather than later.

She then spotted Yeothal facing off against the scar-faced man. It was the perfect opportunity. “How about this; the enemy of my enemy is my friend. You guys hold off those ninja's, I try to back-up your leader. The rate it's going, none of us will survive if we don't work together.” She was hoping some of that could get trough to them. If anything, just having them temporarily stop trying to murder her would be enough, as it'd allow her to try sneaking up behind the scar-faced man.

From the fact that Yeothal was holding off the scar-faced man on a seemingly equal level, she knew the scar-faced one wouldn't be able to keep his eyes off of Yeothal without taking severe risks. That meant she'd have an opportunity to sneak up on him, especially if his goons would keep the ninja's busy one way or another, of if she'd be underestimated due to simply trying to talk earlier. Some of them might not have even noticed she carried some daggers underneath that fancy fashionably ripped dress of hers, one of which she took out as she tried to approach the scar-faced man with it.

Were the man unable to spot her, she'd ram the dagger through his back at the first opportunity. If he did spot her, she'd simply keep his attention on her for a bit, allowing Yeothal to attack him from behind instead. Either scenario would work out, hopefully, as she was starting run out of options.

In front of a whole group of ninjas, Kyrian was sure he would be drowned out. In front of two of them, maybe he could get some sort of clemency from these ninjas for everyone- even if it cost him his service- or his life. He had to try, before he had to start stabbing for dear life- he valued his life, but it was his goal to get as many people out alive as was possible. All he had time to do was send a look to Solomon- a 'Hurry the fuck up' look before addressing the two ninjas who looked ready to attack them. "Why would your leader waste resources by attacking this church? If you knew enough about the church to attack it, then you know that the boy, his friend, and the orb are most likely gone by now, as this place is riddled with passages and exits. I heal everyone. That's why there was a mix of everyone in the church- Knight, criminal, ordinary people, and those with issues the other churches refuse to help. I saw Yeothal's gang attack you first. Though you did surround my church, they struck first. I can give you this promise, and my past actions will back me up on this. I will heal your people, if you vacate the church now. Before you try to kill me, ask yourself this- why would you waste a resource as valuable as a willing healer? Though you are a skilled folk, you are getting hurt as well. Most of those in the church have no quarrel with you. Leave the church, and those who you have no quarrel with, and I will heal what's left of your group. It's always good to have a god on your side." There was no malice behind his words, no lies- an honest attempt to bargain with the only chip he had left.

If the ninjas attacked Kyrian, he would stay on the defensive, trying to give Solomon enough time to find what was taking away their magic. His knife would be out and present, and it would be a fight to the death, as Kyrian would use whatever skill and knowledge he had to fend off these two ninjas. If not, he would go with them willingly, hoping to buy Solomon time by being the distraction anyway. If they knew anything about his god, then they would know that Kasm was kind, but wasn't a goody-two-shoes deity like some of the others.

@Ur Degaton @Novama

Solomon looked at the two ninjas before backing up to let Kyrian handle them. He gave the broken railing a glance before looking around for any loose debris to use. Some of the floor stones were cracked and loose, while a few chunks of the broken railing were also small enough to pick up. He grabs random detriment consisting of wood and stone, hurling them at the chunk of Anticyte in an attempt to knock it off the wooden beam. He missed most of the shots, but he wouldn’t give up. One of them was bound to hit the railing, and that would be all it takes to knock it off. That is, if he isn’t killed by ninjas first, but hopefully Kyrian could hold them off long enough to make the lucky throw. If push comes to shove, he would need to scale the building and physically obtain the anti-magical trinket.

“Do not let me die, or we will all suffer.” He said, glancing back at Kyrian and the enemy.

If he could get his magic back, that would make apprehending the hostiles much easier. But alas there were more artifacts to uncover, and by then the battle may already be lost. That is unless someone can call for reinforcements. But that may be difficult with so many assassins hiding in the shadows like the cowards they are.

Walking through the chilly streets, Gattas gingerly rubbed at his ears with his good hand. Clad in his typical attire, albeit layered by some standard Eldritch Knight bearings; badges and a pair of leather pads strapping a short cape completed his uncanny appearance. He could feel the shifting of his overalls underneath the leather he wouldn't even call armor, a grimace forming at the edges of his mouth. The winds running through his beard and ears weren't helping at all when it came to comfort. He'd been tasked to a patrol the barracks, and subjugate any individuals of nonsensical purpose in appearance and intent. Tugging at his neck, he pulled lightly at the chain looped diagonally from his shoulder. Clinking links replied to every step he took, something he'll give to the blacksmiths later for "working". Looking like a common variant of a make-believing hero, Gattas just bit through these annoyances by remembering the stakes.

Looking back, the Eldritch Knights didn't give him much regard, which he took to be a good sign, when he joined. A small crew of them were even nice to him, curious to find the notorious goblin bartender serving as a Knight. Not wanting to share anymore details about his allegations, he waved them off with an excuse along the lines of his kids wanting to see their darling dad do acts of heroism. Making the world a safer place, or at least looking cool while working, seems to be a trend among parents who want to impress their kids. Although his reasons were a bit more convoluted, he still found time to smile with his fellow fathers whenever a conversation about family came up. All of that, led to this: walking in the snow alone with the job of patrolling a street that is assuredly because of its proximity to the barracks. Luckily he was still part of the group tasked with the Yeothal case, so at least he knows they'll be making progress soon enough.

Sniffing the air, he could weakly detect the scent of blood in the air. His fingers danced along his body, ready to grab the right weapon for the job should the opportunity for combat arise. He turned an alley with a wild expression as he flashed his teeth in a menacing manner. Then, all his bravado just deflates as he sees a cat eating through the innards of a fat rat. An angry bark and a throw of a rock later, the alley was left without life, only the bloodstains on white snow giving a sign of recent activity. He went back to the barracks, a stormy expression on his face that made more than a few give him some space. Not being a looker in general, the wart-nosed goblin passed the halls without being stopped.

His hand curled along a door's handle, and with a simple tug, the door opened. A blast of heat cleared all the cold in his shoulders, a roaring flame glimmering in the depths of the room. Hammerz crashed against glowing blocks of metal, pressing them to shape with each swing. Blacksmiths of all shapes and sizes worked in the room relentlessly, sweating despite the cold weather outside. Gattas squeezed himself through the garden of muscle, landing in front of a more familiar face. Without annoucement, he dropped the long length of chain in front of the smith, excitement flashing as brightly as the sparks erupting from the anvils. "
Bought me own chain, all's stoppin' now is yer pussyfootin'. Just make it ya snaggle-toothed rock-kisser, least ya can do ta pay yer tab.", arms crossed, he gave a humorous harrumph.

"
Ah know ya can do it, just cobble them thingamabobs 'gether an' shit's done.", he faced the scowling dwarf with the same amount of stubborness. Right beside the dwarf, on the floor, were random items like rusty bells, metal cups, and even small balls of metal likely used to hamper a prisoner's mobility. "Choose yer' poison, cuz ah'll be usin' them ta flip fuckers over.", afterwards, he began stuttering over trying to sound like he knows exactly what's talking about. Although the message was lost in the attempts to sound good, he was still able to relay his intention: a long chain with two heavy objects on both ends, and a couple of chain bolos. A city has rules after all, and he still can't kill, so best he could do was to remove any chance of escape for his enemies.

"
DON'T CARE WHAT YA THINK, JUST FINISH IT 'FORE YA GO ON ANOTHER BREAK TA RUIN YER LIVER!", shouting over the boisterous activity all around him, Gattas fled from the smithy with a chuckle. He trusts the dwarf's integrity, or better yet his desire to escape from debt without paying. Thoughts swirling to complement his plans, he walked to the Eldritch Knight domestic area. A skip in his step, he entered one of the rooms without knocking. The scene inside made him smile, his kids currently dealing with boredom in their own way. One cleaning, another swinging a wooden sword like one of the Knights, while the last indulging in complicated-looking books. His wife was out, talking to some friends, something something favors.

He shook that out of his head for now, choosing to focus on greeting his kids. After their complaints, he tersely walked to his daughter's side. The book's content showed an interesting collection of words, some of which he recognized. Audit? Gross income? Magical Pet Taxation? All of them made his head swirl, but he wasn't going to let that stop him from hugging his princess. She seemed to find some comfort because of the warmth on his body, leftover heat from the smithy. Still focused on her book, she luckily wasn't able to see the crumbling mask of her father, an expression of regret and apology. His heart stymied briefly, questioning itself on whether or not it a was good decision to not run back then. Moments later he buried those thoughts under obligation. He gave his kids kisses, none of whom were willing.

The door to their room closed behind him. Quietly, the old goblin sighed, and went back outside in the cold to continue his lonely patrol.

Now that he was farther from all the commotion, Nyxus could actually think of his next move. Having zero access to his abilities was a major problem, something he'd definitely need to tackle sooner or later, but what could he do now? Kaz was off slaughtering any ninjas in his path, but excluding a few wounds, he seemed able to hold his own. Most of Yeothal's men were deep in combat too, but Nyxus couldn't do much to help them without his powers. The priest and that other man, who he learned to be an Eldritch Knight, were missing. Either escaping this ordeal entirely or taking a new approach. And here he was, standing against a wall doing absolutely nothing. There had to be something he could do.

Nyxus continued to scan the battlefield until he caught sight of another familiar face. He recognized them as a person he saw back in the Cringing Cockatrice, that well-dressed beast-kin woman who was chatting up Yeothal. Nyxus remembered learning of her position as an Eldritch Knight, a puzzling discovery. Usually, someone dressed so elegantly was connected to royalty; that was how it was underground. He expected someone of the Eldritch Knights to be more rugged in appearance; the law-enforcing body of his kingdom wasn't so stylish. The surface-dwelling culture was so bewildering.

Nyxus kept his eyes on her as she darted towards someone in the church. On closer inspection, she was approaching Yeothal and his scar-faced competitor with a dagger in hand. Her intentions were clear, and she was making great progress. Still, Nyxus felt a shred of worry forming within him.

She had already proved her skill by surviving for so long, but the tell-tale signs of battle were evident on her dress. He didn't doubt her abilities: she could've handled the scar-faced man better than he could, but seeing as countless men here were slaughtered so viciously - some of them not even spared a clean death, it brought terrible thoughts of what could happen to her. Nyxus hadn't seen a sophisticated beast-kin in so long; it'd be a shame to see one brutalized right in front of him.

Still keeping his grasp on the hilt of his sword, Nyxus lagged behind her, staying far enough not to attract the attention of the woman but close enough to provide support if need be. Finally, for once during his time in this city: he was going to be helpful.

House of Kazm

While Kaz was barely holding his own, it was apparent that the gang around him were not. Even the jovial powerhouse that was Bob was getting slower and started accruing cuts over his body. Few of the gang members that accompanied Yeothal to the church were still alive with only the oldest and most elite of his gang, like Bob, still hanging on. No one had answers. Just a desire for revenge against the people that wronged them, but now even that feeling was waning in the face of an impending doom. Without magic, to offset some of the gang's weaknesses, it was apparent the ninjas were better trained individually and as a group. The handful Kaz could put down with his barehands was just a drop in the bucket compared to the number of lives the ninjas had already claimed of Yeothal's men.

Verity was able to more clearly express to the men hounding her how the situation could be improved. Unlike before where she was ignored or not heard, this time they rolled their eyes and chuckled to one enough. With a wink among each other, they choose to follow her to where the boss and the ninja leader dueled. Nyxus was able to slip in among the group to safely tail Verity until the group stopped a ways away from the fighting. Ninjas were still around, but for the moment the group remained unmolested. The ground of the ruined church was littered with bodies and stained in their blood. The smell was foul like someone had opened up a sewer. The cold temperature only saw that it didn't get suddenly worse.

Neither her sneaking nor her offensive against the scarface was effective. Sneaking up would have been difficult on them proved more difficult than anticipated due to the open area in which they dueled. However, the situation became worse when both men saw her approach with her weapon out. Yeothal saw a knight. The scarfaced man saw another potential adversary. Rather than ignored Verity and remaining paired off, the dueling men opened up their stances to encompass her in their range of attack and defense as she was forcefully made another contender in the fight. Attackers were coming at her from both sides while her dagger was easily swept away anytime she attempted to use it offensively.

Nyxus would hear the gang members laughing and placing bets knowing this was the outcome they foresaw when Verity tried convincing them. Ninjas were also waiting in the wings. Should things started to get more chaotic, they looked ready to pounce.

Kyrian was able to successfully hold off the ninjas for a moment. One moment. It was in that one moment Solomon was able to aim and throw a hunk of stone at the anticyte potato resting in the rafters overhead. Luckily, the lobbed stone connected. The potato was jostled from its resting place and fell. The ninjas stopped long enough to watch wide-eyed as the anticyte fell past them just out of arm's reach. It hit the first floor and instantly dusted. The powder immediately getting swirled around in the cold breeze rushing through the church.

Kyrian and Solomon, alone, will feel the chaos or invasive presence once again. Magical effects and events are now possible within a handful of yards of Kyrian,Solomon, and the ninjas down to the floor and up to the ceiling. The ninjas immediately cloaked themselves in shadow and tried melting out of view.

The Knights

"Sir, there has been a fluctuation in the Chaos stream near a ruined church south of here bordering the slums."

Said a knight while their fingers traced a city map with their eyes closed. Captain Eko cut his briefing of the Yeothal Subjugation Squad short to consider the reading for a moment.

"Ready, yourselves! We move on the House of Kazm. From there we will make a move on the slums if necessary."

His stern voice was clear and commanding. The way he held himself was like retired soldier rather than a noble playing at knight. Shortly after, the squad was equipped and marching through the snow and cold to the church with Gattas in tow. Captain Eko would be keeping an eye on the new recruit during the operation.

The mission was simple: Yeothal and his gang were considered threats to the city state and are currently escapees. They have forfeited their rights to being taken in alive. For the good of city peace, any gang member discovered that doesn't immediately surrender shall be neutralized with extreme prejudice and demanding their cooperation first was no longer necessary. Captain Eko's squad was more of a elimination squad than a subjugation squad despite what the name suggested.

As the knights neared the church in the low visibility conditions due to snow flurries, they saw shadows flicker and move out of the corners of their visions.

"Weapons out! Stay sharp!"

The captain called to his men, his gut feeling prompting him more than any procedures handbook. All the nights were in heavy armor and were equipped with weapons in good repair and appropriateness to their wielder.

@slifer

Solomon could feel some of his power return to him, as faint as it may be. He could barely feel the flowing mana passing through his body, mind, and soul. He couldn’t do much with his current power, but he was no longer useless.

Turning to Kyrian, he points to the ninjas trying to escape. “Do not let those cowards escape!” He growled, sending a small, golf ball sized fireball at one of the shadow dwellers. It didn’t have much power behind it, but fire was still fire, and textiles/clothing were perfect victims for a hungering flame. The fire was more of a distraction so that Kyrian could finish them off. They needed to hurry, as there were more jammers to find and destroy. Once he was back at full power he would show these barbarians what it truly meant to be called a sorcerer.

His magic felt like water. Without it he felt weak and tired, but once he had it, it was like a wave of energy washed over him. While the uninitiated might succumb to the intoxicating affects that mana provides. He spent his entire life honing and disciplining himself to have complete control over his magic flow. This allows him to prioritize mana in certain parts of his body and “strengthen” them, if you will. This is why he doesn’t immediately suffer grievous injuries upon being attacked as he is able to form a sort of magical shield within whatever part of his body was attacked. This mitigated damage that would otherwise destroy his fragile form. Instead of a broken arm, he would get a fractured arm, and etc. but this all depended on how much force was behind the attack. If the enemy was a 6,8 tower of muscle and rage, he would have no chance of surviving if he were to suffer a physical attack.

Verity

Interactions: Kaz @Skyhunter | Nyxus @The Last Curse

It happened. Verity finally snapped. The sheer display of stupidity was simply too baffling for her to witness. “Your friends are being massacred and you're soon to meet the same fate, yet you're just standing around, acting like idiots?!?” She didn't expect much of Yeothal's gang, but this was less than even the lowest of bars she'd set for them. These morons weren't even possessing a humanoid level of intellect any-more. Slaughtering them might be a mercy, but she feared she needed them to survive the day. Sadly enough, scarface and Yeothal had also been far less engrossed in the fight against one another than she'd anticipated, which meant she was spotted pretty early on.

She figured her last shot was an attempt to address the one guy she figured might at least have some shred of sense, all the while merely remaining on defence. She wasn't anywhere near stupid enough to attempt to go on the offensive against either of these men, as she knew she'd be lucky enough to just keep dodging them. She spoke to Yeothal. “Help me take down scarface there and I'll let you and your gang go for the day. Look around you. At this rate, we'll all die if we don't cooperate.”

Amidst the chaos, she'd spotted two slightly familiar faces that might provide an outcome. Kaz and Nyxus. She didn't know either of them well. If anything, she knew at least one of them was a certified criminal, but addressing them was worth a shot. “Help me bring down scarface and I'll do whatever I can to put in a good word for you guys with the knights.” She figured she'd better leave out the fact that her word probably didn't hold much weight under the current circumstances.

For now, the best she could do was to try not to get murdered. At the very least, she was still buying some time and if the gods were on her side, someone of those she'd addressed would see reason in her words and use the opportunity to get rid of scarface whilst he was still focused on her.

Kaz Bloodhawk - Looking like a unwinnable situation

Kaz could barely keep these ninjas back, he wasn't getting slashed anymore so that was good. Although having to block, parry, or dodge was getting exhausting when he wasn't spilling blood on himself. Whenever that happened he would feel his adrenaline kick in again and his strength along with stamina come back to him. It was a stalemate at this point. No matter how any Kaz killed, more would show up. Each kill was more violent than the last. To the point Kaz actually broke the sword he had been using, a quarter of the blade broke off when he blocked a attack.

The sword was now crude, sharp, and shorter. Kaz was able to dodge a attack nimbly, slashing a ninja across his stomach. He heard the now doomed man gasp like he was in shock, Kaz still had a wild smile on his face. Eyes wide, his pupils were almost glowing, the blue and orange colors popped out more with the blood that was matted onto the Bloodhawk. Then he saw a familiar figure run by in his vision, his eyes quickly dart thinking it was a enemy when he saw the lizard, Nyxus! What the hell was he doing? He was going to get himself killed! But his eyes moved farther down the room, through the blood that flew in the air and saw the two fighting combatants stopping their fight to turn on someone he was familiar with. Well someone he recognized actually.

The Bloodhawk saw Verity, she had a few bruises and her clothes were ripped, she was barely scraping by. For knights they were pretty damn fragile looking, first Solomon when Kaz first saw him at the museum, he thought the man to be fragile looking but was very capable with magic, and now Verity, fragile looking but very capable with magic. Until that magic is taken away they almost have nothing in a fight. The Bloodhawk saw that she looked to him and called for his help. " Pretty lady. " Kaz muttered as his demeanor changed.

His hand reached to the ninja trying to hold his guts in, pushing pass his hands, Kaz reached into the intestines of the ninja, grabbing a handful of whatever, Kaz pulled his arm back and released, guts and gore flew pass him as the ninja fell to his knees trying to pull them back in but it was fruitless. Kaz then raced off towards the now crowding men, holding his crude sword as he was able to dodge or block any coming ninja attacks. Kaz then sped through the crowd without a second thought or even slowing down, he slammed into a few of the men looking at the scarred face man. Kaz saw his next kill, but he still needed to protect Verity, make sure she didn't get hurt in the process.

The Bloodhawk saw one of the ninja's chasing him try to cut him off and deliver a killing blow. Kaz was able to block the attack and push his sword upward to expose his body. The Bloodhawk slammed a knee into the ninja's abdomen as Kaz leaned forward and sunk his teeth into the neck of the ninja in front of everyone. Kaz ripped the front of the throat off as he viciously jerked away, the screams that left the ninja's mouth was nothing short of earsplitting, spitting the flesh to the side as the ninja fell over onto the piling bodies. Kaz took the sword from the man's hand as he fell over gracefully almost like he was given the weapon.

Kaz stood there smiling as he tasted the blood, looking at the scarred face man and pointed the crude looking sword up at the scarred man, hoping the screams would gain the attention of his new foe. " The massacre continues. " Kaz stated with wild looking eyes. Holding the other sword in his left, burnt, hand. Having a foot on the body of the ninja he just killed. Hopefully this would also bring all attention that was on Verity onto Kaz, his eyes glanced to the beast-kin for a moment, they tried saying words but Kaz was never one for indications or expressions. But they then turned to the scarred man and Yeothal.

A cold look settled in Kyrian's eyes, as the ninjas decided to ignore his quite generous offer. He was generally a man of peace, and he did have it in him to heal. But not many people saw the darker side of mischief, the kind of fuckwittery that caused limbs to be lost, the kind that lead those to their deaths. They had come to his home, killed his people, destroyed his home. They chose this fate, and he wouldn't begrudge these men a chance to succumb to their own foolishness.

The sound of smashing rock brought an end to the coldness that came from not having Kazm with him at all times. Magic filled him again, causing him to give a sigh and a grin of excitement- as he generally didn't get the chance to ever use his curses.

The trademark golden light surrounded Kyrian, but this time it had a sinister quality to it, like the shine from a pile of gold from the view point of the most greedy of beings. He set his sight on the two ninjas, choosing a curse that would severely hinder the ninjas. Pointing at the two, he let out his magic, aiming his magic for the two ninjas. Maybe it wouldn't hurt them per say, as some of his other curses could, but it would severely fuck with them. If Kyrian's magic would work, he use the Curse of the Sloth on them. A fitting curse most biblically themed, their movements would slow, making them as fast as a sloth- giving enough time for Solomon to come to absolutely wreck the two ninjas, considering their reaction time would only become a quarter of a normal human's, only being able to move six to eight feet per minute. If he were to succeed, Kyrian would race for the ninjas, using his strength to hold them back. "Hurry up!" Kyrian would shout back at Solomon to do his job, as the magic man of the group. A part of him wanted to execute them on the spot, but a Knight was right there, and he needed the pair for proof of the bullshit that was happening in his church- well, it probably wasn't his church any more. Whoever did this would pay for it dearly. Maybe he'd keep healing the man's balls before stomping on them, over and over and over again until the man broke. That sounded like a fitting ending for whoever did this.

IF the spell were to fail, he would retreat back to Solomon, his mind set on helping the others. "I can't exactly attack them without levelling the playing field. We have to help the others, somehow in this circle." Besides, all he had was his magic and his knife, as he was at his best helping others.

House of Kazm

Able to feel and channel the chaos into magic once again, the duo of Solomon and Kyrian harassed the ninjas that attempted to escape from the situation. As the ninjas melded into shadow, they suddenly slowed to a crawl in the tainted gold light given off my Kyrian. Moving slow enough to appear motionless, the little flare released by Solomon easily found its mark and set the shadow ablaze. The ninja let out a cry a few octaves deeper and several times slower as the flames slowly started to spread over the portion of his torso not yet submerged in the inky blackness. Although Kyrian was able to rush over and grab ahold of the ninjas to hold them in place for a moment, it seemed barely necessary.

Meanwhile, in the side chamber connected to the main hall, the duel between Verity, Yeothal, and "Scar" continued. Surprising all, Verity was keeping herself from being skewered while trying to negotiate with the men who seemed to have little time for her. Unable to do more than defend, Verity was little distraction to the two men who continued their duel at a furious pace. Sweat and blood started to fly as the two grew weary of their contest. Yeothal sighed, more annoyed than fatigued,

"Fine, Knight. Have it your way. Help me bury this one and I'll consider forgetting that time you nearly got me arrested,"

A loose agreement forged, Yeothal carefully moved over the rubble that littered the floor so he could flank the ninja leader with Verity on the opposing side. The threat to Verity was now cut in half and 'Scar' was in a pincer. The situation was looking more favorable, but then Kaz suddenly charged into the ring. He managed to garner the attention of everyone including some troublesome enemies from above.

Descending like the shadow warriors they were, 2 ninjas pounced on Kaz from their 2nd floor perches with blades stabbing Kaz (Kaz is under half health again and has sustained a couple puncture wounds, will need magic healing after combat to not be debilitated). Unlike Verity, Kaz was clearly a threat that needed dealt with. Other ninjas waiting in the wings looked ready to join in on the slaughter against what remained of Yeothal's men when the building was rocked by an explosion coming from another wing.

The Knights

The small squad of knights spotted ninjas shifting around in the shadows and snow fall around the church. Noting the anti-magic field around the church, the started executing maneuvers to counter the situation. One was to retreat from the church and commence bombardment. Magical attacks were instant dispersed. Crossbows were still effective but lacked the necessary coverage to hit the evasive ninjas or causes of the anti-magic field.

"Fall back!"

Knight Eko commanded of his men as he stepped forward. Ranged ninja throwing weapons whirled past or ineffectually plinked off his full plate armor as he raised a hand overhead.

"Meteor Rain!"

Quivering space overhead opened to reveal portals to space that allowed a few massive hunks of rock to pass through. Once grabbed by gravity, the rocks free fell from high above to impact the church in the general area the ninjas were making their stand. The resulting impacts caused explosions that rocketed bodies, stone, and snow into the air. The anti-magic field in the general area of main entrance and wing of the church had been subdued along with the ninja defense.

The squad of knights charged the location and paired off to finish off ninjas while keeping an eye for additional survivors.

A shred of sensibility seemed to have finally enlightened Yeothal, as he accept her offer to try surviving together rather than dying. She couldn't help remark the irony of Yeothal's statement. “For what it's worth, I was the one that actually got arrested that time.” After that, however, she was back to focusing on the fight. She wasn't stupid enough to try taking the 'lead' here, but she wasn't dishonourable enough to go back on her deal either, so she'd do just enough to make sure that scarface was forced to divide his attention between her and Yeothal, trying to stab at him if he'd ever be foolish enough to take his eyes fully off her. To her mild surprise, she'd gotten Kaz to join the fray, but he was stopped by the ninja's.

She clicker her tongue when she got shook up by the explosion. “Are they going to try blasting us all out of existence..?” She asked to nobody in particular, as she was growing paranoid. They'd arrested along part of Yeothal's gang not that long ago. Who's to say there wasn't yet another level above scarface at play that was now triple-crossing them all by levelling the entire church and everyone in it? She didn't have too much time to focus on it, as her immediate adversary, scarface, was still in front of her. She wasn't foolish enough to show her back towards Yeothal either, for that matter.

Kaz Bloodhawk - In deep shit, again, what are you expecting at this point?

Well as it had seemed, Kaz had caught everyone's attention, he did just rip a man's throat out with his teeth. " I can't wait to tear your eyes out of your skull. " Kaz had his eyes set on this scarred man, he was ready to fight again, his bloodlust had been building up after the murders he just committed. He wanted more, taking a step forward Kaz almost didn't see the men fall from above, his eyes moved up at the last second only to feel two faint stabs in his chest and back. The Bloodhawk's eyes widen as the sudden pain, these stabs actually hurt the Bloodhawk, his bloodlust began to shorten out. Two ninja's had stabbed him from behind and in the front, with smaller Swords, his chest and back.

A deep growl came from Kaz as he swung his broken crude sword back where he struck the ninja behind him in the temple of their head with the weapon. The broken sword slammed through their eye socket and into their brain where they fell over, taking the crude sword with them. Kaz grabbed the throat of the second ninja and began to punch them. WHAM WHAM WHAM Kaz' strength began to diminish rather quickly so in a last ditch effort. Kaz leaned forward and bit into the man's face, in their eye. He ripped off flesh and eye, proceeding to eat the gore. Kaz could hear the screams of the man as he held them close now, wrapping his arms around them so their could escape and couldn't grab the knife.

The Bloodhawk then sunk his teeth into their neck where he proceeded to eat flesh off of them. Cannibalizing a man in front of everyone. Kaz could feel his strength returning, blood covering his already bloodied face, Kaz then pushed them to the side as he picked up his sword again, leaving the knives stuck in his body, he smirked evilly. Kaz could feel the pain still, even though he began to indulge in his bloodlust, he felt lightheaded but the fight was not done yet.

The next thing Kaz heard was a large explosion in another section of the building, Kaz didn't dare take his eyes off his prey, the scarred man. But he did hear knights talking and yelling. Great just what he needed... But he wasnt concerned about them just yet, the Bloodhawk then stepped forward with his sword ready to strike the scarred man, focused fully on him. Ignoring the pain in his body as his eyes looked hungry for more blood, more death. Only for another explosion to rip though a part of the church, Kaz stumbled to the side with a growl, the explosion mixed with him being lightheaded from bloodloss made him stumble to the side, but Kaz still stared at his prey. This was nothing! He had been through worst, if he couldn't kill one man then what good was he? Ignoring the explosion, Kaz pushed on.

Kaz charged forward towards the scarred man with his sword ready to attack, looking to stab the scarred man. Kaz wished his powers would return, he needed them, his fire and lightning would easily decimate these cowards. Unlike the knights who had magic resistant armour, these people could easily be harmed or killed by his powers.
