Raining Blood

Euphoria filled his body, the sweet taste of her blood radiating in his mouth. Her body had gone limp; her laboured breathing was a sign that she was still alive. Barely. He laid her down beside her brother, then wiped the blood off of his chin. As they laid there together, Vincent looked at them, smirking. Their care for each other was nauseating. Pathetic, he thought, how could they even think that they had any hope of escaping from here alive? With that thought in his mind, feeling invincible, he took the key to Brian's collar out of the right pocket of his pants, and unlocked the collar.

Brian slid down the wall, unable to hold himself up in his weakened state. His only thoughts were of his sister's well-being, and he quickly wrapped an arm around her to comfort her.

When he wrapped his arms around her her body was gently convulsing her lips were parted and slightly blue. Breathing was very labored he would have killed her if he didn't stop drinking right then. She was completely limp in his arms if it was the rugged and short someone would think she was dead. She might as well be he had drank a lot what was keeping her alive probably the thought of her being right next to her brother. Her head fell against his skinny stomach but she did not wake up it would be a long time before that.

Brian struggled to stay conscious, his sole focus was on keeping his sister safe. He drew her closer, trying to keep her warm; she had lost a lot of blood and was starting to feel cold to his touch. The last time he had had to comfort her like this was the night that their parents had died. After several minutes of holding his sister, Brian lost his battle against unconsciousness, and fell asleep, his sister still in his arms.

When Brian finally woke up, his sister was still asleep in his arms. Vincent was nowhere to be seen.

His sister never moved from where she was laying her body so weak. By the time he woke up her color was returning and her breathing was not so labored. At least she was doing better a soft moan escaped her lips when he moved she was still very cold though. In the cellar where they were staying was very cold. But she managed to find warmth with her brother right beside her gently she moved her head closer to the little warmth he gave off.

He felt his sister moving, and looked down at her. She looked cold, and wearing that red dress probably didn't help. He carefully took his shirt off and offered it to her, it wasn't much, but at least it was better than nothing. "That'll help keep you warm."

"How are you feeling? I know it's dangerous trying to escape, but we need to get out of here. I don't want you to go through the same hell that I've had to go through. Do you think you'll be able to walk on your own?"

Hesitantly she took the shirt and covered her body with it as best she could. Her head was still spinning and she did not think she was able to walk. "If we move around the house he will capture us. He'll know." They would have to wait till morning when he would probably be asleep because of the sun.

"That sounds like a solid idea. Let's just hope that he doesn't come back down here and lock us both up again before sunrise." He held her close. "Try and get some rest, we'll need our strength for the morning." In a matter of minutes he had fallen asleep again.

Before he finished his sentance she was asleep again this time for a couple of hours. It was true that she would need all of her strength and she was starving. So the strength would have to come from sleep right now. She was snuggled closer to her brother and was a bit warm.l

Morning was a long way off, and Vincent had spent the last several hours wondering what he should do with the two of them. He could just kill the boy and be done with it, but that might potentially kill the girl's will to live, and the blood never tasted as good when that happened. That's when it dawned on him - he could turn the brother, and together they could torment his sister. Perhaps they would even find another plaything for him. Yes, that was what he was going to do.

He left the balcony that he had been standing on, and walked through the living room. The house was absolutely massive inside, full of furniture that was covered in cobwebs from years of disuse. He made his way downstairs, in to the dank cellar. They were asleep. He lifted the girl off of her brother, waking her up. "You're going to want to watch this," he said, grabbing Brian, lifting him up and then biting down hard on this throat. Brian let loose a terrifying scream, something that he hadn't done in a long time. Before he sucked out too much blood, Vincent cut open his own wrist and pressed it to Brian's lips, forcing him to drink his blood. Supernatural strength started to flow through Brian's veins, and he wanted more. He kept on drinking the vampire's blood, devouring as much of it as he possibly could.

When he woke her up she wanted to go back to sleep she was feeling a bit better but was still weak. Her color was back and her breathing was fine but weak. When she saw him bite down on his throat she scream she tried to get to him to stop Vincent from drinking from him but nothing worked. The movies she watched about vampires she knew what was going on with the blood going into his throat it would change him. "NO please stop." She called out trying to get over to him and made it a few inches. "Brian stop it please don't drink the blood." Her hands gripped the floor as she tried to pull herself towards her brother. "Brian pleaes." She cried out she had just got her brother back.

The world around him looked different. He was able to see, hear, and smell things that he had never been able to before. The cellar around him was now perfectly visible to him for the first time. Blood stains covered the walls and floor all around him, and other than a couple of items it was completely barren. It looked like the only thing that had ever happened here was torture.

He looked around, sniffing the air. What was that smell? The girl looked like she was about to cry, reaching out for him. The smell was coming from her neck, where two puncture marks had blood drying around them. He couldn't tear his eyes away from her neck. Before she knew what was happening, he had run over to her, grabbed her, and was about to bite down on her neck when something stopped him.

"Not yet. If you feed on her now, you'll kill her."

The tears filled her eyes as he ran over to her and grabbed her quite roughly. The sparkling fangs went down on her neck. "Please don't." She cried out looking away from him but Vincent had said not now or he will kill her. How could this happen she was just finding her brother again after two long years and now it was taken from her right under her nose. Her breathing was hard again but because of fear this time. Tears streaming down her face she couldn't fight back.

Rage welled up in Brian. Who was this guy, trying to stop him from having a snack? He was hungry, and nothing was going to stand in between him and his meal. Letting go of the girl, he cocked his fist and hit Vincent square in the jaw, his fangs poking out of his mouth. Vincent was taken aback, none of the vampires that he had transformed before had turned on him, and that moment of inactivity cost him his life. Lunging at Vincent, Brian's fangs ripped Vincent's throat out, blood spraying everywhere like a fountain. Brian's hand grasped at Vincent's hair, and with one pull, he tore his head right off. Blood was pouring down his face as he gazed at the head in his hands. Quickly, he turned, looking at his next meal.

When he grabbed vincent and started to feed she covered her face and did not want to see the blood pouring. "Brian how could you?" She called out after he was finished and she heard the body drop to the floor. Her brother was gone and this she knew but somehow she would find a way to stop him. Tears filled her eyes as she looked up at him the eyes that held her brother were not his anymore. There was no way she could fight right now and she accepted the end right here and then by her whole flesh and blood.

Something about the way she had said "Brian" had startled him. It had the air of familiarity about it, but he was certain that he didn't know her. He looked at her, trying to figure out where he knew her from. "Who are you?" he asked. His stomach growled at him, he was still hungry, but he needed to find out who she was first.

When he said who was she she couldn't believe it and she felt her stomach twist in knots. "I'm your twin sister please don't do this." She put her hands on the floor and tried to push herself up so she could stand but didn't get much further then pushing and her back arching. Finally she managed to get to kneeling on her knees but that was it for now.

There she was, kneeling in front of him, telling him that she was his twin sister. He had no recollection of her. His eyes passed over her body, glancing at the bruises on her neck. Hunger gripped him, and he moved forward, taking her by the wrist, his fangs piercing her skin and the sweet taste of blood filling his mouth. Although he had just been turned, everything can to him instinctively. He sat there, feeding on her, enjoying every moment of it. Before long, the flow of blood turned in to a trickle. He had nearly drained her. He looked in to her eyes, and watched as the life faded away.

Again the tears streamed down her face as she cried for him to stop telling him she was his sister but nothing worked. The blood took like two minutes to get out of her system and her body fell against his chest her eyes slightly open breathing almost nonexistant. Her lips pale unnatural now she lay limp in his lap her wrist still in his hand and nothing came from her now. Her breathing labored then finally stopped.

As the life escaped from her body, the sudden shock of what he had done came to him. Even though he had been turned in to a vampire, there was still a glimmer of humanity in him. He pulled the lifeless body closes. Panic gripped him, he had no idea what to do. He frantically started to perform CPR on her, first plugging her nose while breathing in to her mouth, then pumping down on her chest. This went on for several minutes, him trying his best to revive the girl. Suddenly, he felt a pulse. It was faint, but he could definitely feel it.

The body was very limp on the floor beside him as he started CPR. The breath filled her lungs and her chest rose slightly then fell. Her head bobbed to the side slightly when he pushed down on her chest. Her pulse was so faint it was barely there but she was back for now. If he kept this up she probably would not come back next time maybe she will. A soft gasp escaped her mouth a few seconds later as she started to struggle to breath on her own. She did not wake up though. Right now her brother was the killer and she was slowly loosing hope on her living through this.
