I couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at this kid. His interest was intriguing. "It's funny you say that, because we happen to do a lot of ass kicking here. It's sort of our main thing. If you're seriously interested in joining, have a seat. We welcome you into our family. Like a mafia..." I trailed off as I came to that realization, and couldn't help but to imagine us as an all powerful Gay Mafia. Minus the power, of course, but a girl could dream, right? If only I could adopt an Italian accent and rename myself Vinny, I'd be set...

"Oh uh.. right. This is Emmett, the head honcho," I motioned toward him, and then back at myself and Rein, "and Rein and I are sort of his right hand men, er... women. That's just repeat news for everyone else, but, there you go. And yes, a serious answer to your question, that's one goal of the GSA. We aim to spread knowledge about and acceptance for the entirety of the gender and sexual spectrums. It's a... lofty goal in a place such as this, but we hope to do some good."

A boy had interrupted, asking about the GSA. I was kind of surprised, I guess I just asumed most people knew about us and either chose to ignore or hate us. Bealarra was about to answer him but stopped short. I debated finishing, but Emmet was a step ahead of me. I half expected him to brush us off, but to my surprise he wanted to join. Tyler explained a little of what we did and introduced herself along with Emmet and Rein.

"You know, we'd make like, the most amazing mafia ever." I suggested. "We'd be favoloso." I couldn't remember where I had even learned 'fabulous' in Italian, but apparently, I heard it somewhere. I finished off my Poptart and wiped the crumbs off on my skirt. "My name is Lucy; I'm just a member. Welcome aboard!" I extended a hand to him. "By the way, are you new? I don't think I've seen you around before."

Mark listened to Emmett and the new kid talk, and he busied himself fiddling with his waistband absentmindedly. It seemed like a lot of new faces were joining the club today, and it gave Mark a smidge of confidence. But he was pretty sure this boy was new to the school, so maybe he just hadn't been tainted yet.

Tyler was talking about the mafia, kind of. Mark didn't really get it. He'd watched Lynch Mob with his dad earlier that year, but that was about all he knew of the mafia. Oh, and that The Simpsons character. He ignored it and reminded himself to Google it later.

People were getting introduced. "I'm Mark," Mark nodded, but he decided against getting up or offering a hand.

Emmett smiles as the newcomer enters the room. He's glad he decided to join, but he also worried. This kid didn't know what he was getting into. He was associating himself with the sole group of kids that got made fun of more than the nerds. We were born into this… if this kid's straight, then he can get out… "We educate and advocate about the LGBTQ community, really…" He looks around the room and smiles. "Okay, Okay I think most of us have already stated our names so, for those of us that haven't let's do that okay?" Emmett looks over to the newcomer. "Why don't you start?"

Richard looked around and bowed comically.

"My name is Richard. It's a pleasure to meet all of you!" He straightened with a big grin before moving to take a seat on the other side of the room. He couldn't wait to meet everyone. The group seemed so welcoming, which he thought was pretty cool since people like them - he paused in his thoughts there, because even in his head referring to the community of people like that sounded harsh. He shook that out of his mind and focused on the others in the room.

Realizing that of the group, only Emmett would have even a good possibility of knowing her name, Bea shifted in her seat. She was feeling nervous, really anxious, and her mind wouldn't stop turning over the consequences of her actions over and over again. She was already unpopular enough without being a part of the GSA and now, she was just going to cement herself as one of the most disliked people in the school. Oddly, it didn't bother her as much as she thought it might. Perhaps it was because she's spent so much time being unpopular as it was that she had already come to terms with her negative status. She had reconciled herself with high school and her lack of friends, promising that it was worth the ostracizing now for a better future.

The new boy had introduced himself, sat down amongst them, and Bea couldn't help but admire his courage. This boy wasn't battling with the fact that the other students hated him for what he was but he would be singled out if they knew that he had chosen to join sides with the people that they did not understand and did not like. This was different for Bea, she had been a hypocrite and he was being brave. She was managing to guilt herself, she though, laughing inwardly at the thought.

Feeling like she ought to state her name as well, since the others had stated their names and she had only held off from shyness, Bea raised her hand a little into the air.

"M-my name is Beallara. Everyone just calls me Bea though."
