Eastpointe High,

Home of the Eastpointe Bears, may be one of the best public high schools in the area, both in sports and academics, but it's also a school that has been rocked to the core by injustice, intolerance, and just simply ass loads of bullying. After years of being rejected by the school faculty, the school's GSA finally got started in 2005, and lasted openly for about a year before it began to fade and eventually became a sort of "underground" club that met barely four times every school year due to complications with school staff, and harassment form other students. Only two years ago did Eastpointe graduate and former GSA member, Charli Monroe, resurrect the school's GSA from the remains of the harsh pounding it received. Now the Club is alive and buzzing, but not, of course, without a few issues.

Um… sex? Okay heavy petting is ALRIGHT. But as soon as oral or penetration comes into play you either fast forward or take it to private.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT:

This WILL NOT be solely a ROMANCE roleplay (Though, with highschool, it's just kind of there so... yeah there will be a bit a romance, but that's not this RP's sole purpose)
This WILL DEFINITELY NOT be a YAOI or YURI roleplay (because most of these are tacky and sappy and I don't know but this will not be one of those)
Characters DO NOT have to be GAY, LESBIAN, BISEXUAL, TRANSGENDER*, ASEXUAL, PANSEXUAL, INTERSEX etc. etc. to be apart of this RP.
This will simply be a roleplay a couple of teenagers in a --put most frankly—controversial highschool club that each have their own issues and problems and lives and whatnot.
This is realistic fiction, people. Two guys or two girls don't meet one day in real life, talk for a minute and then fall unconditionally and irrevocably in love with each other and then fuck in the same night. That just doesn't happen.

One last thought:

It is a fact that gay guys are a little bit over played in many highschool/teen roleplays. Please don't take advantage of this RP just because you would very well like to play a gay dude. We're trying to make society more aware of the rest of the"LGBTQIAP(etc.)" community besides the L and the G and maybe even the B.

Personality: Emmett usually keeps to himself, but he's a really good listener, a natural helper and a born gentleman. He's one to stand for what he believes in and he won't think twice about defending others, though he has difficulty with defending himself. He believes firmly in the club and will do just about anything for the GSA and it's members. He's very chill, very down beat, and he's very down to smoke the smoke the occasional joint.
Biography: Born and raised in Eastpointe, Emmett (Born as Emery) lives in a very "normal" middle/upper class family. His dad is the owner of a popular local bakery, and his mother works there as a financial analyst. Emmett's an only child and he's parent's won't let their only "daughter" be anything other than just that. He did come out to his parents but after the huge fight that became of this, the whole family acts as if it never happened. Em hasn't had the strength to bring it up again, since. He feels more than just a bit trapped and he feels like he's at a transitional standstill.

The Defining Moment: In third grade after some boy scouts came and spoke to the class Emmett asked his mother if he could join. She instead put him in the girl scouts. Em went the first day, put on the uniform and later came home, and cried in his room for the rest of the day.
What others should know about them: Em gets quiet and stony when you ask him about his body, his gender identity, or anything pertaining to the fact that he's transgender. He's working very hard to change the name of the GSA club, because he doesn't think it applies to the rest of the community.
A Secret: He knows of the affair that his father has with another woman, and in fact this is the second one. He doesn't want to tell his mom and be the one to ruin his parent's relationship.
Guilty Pleasure: He collects batman comics and toys. He's a big fan of the DC universe.
Why they are in the club: As the president, He thinks transgender rights, understanding and awareness is really important, but he can't seem to get himself to discuss it in the club.

Personality: Mark is a big, dumb football player. He likes being with other people a lot, and is generally very friendly. His humour is quite crass and he can seem insensitive to lgbtq issues that he doesn't understand, however. Mark isn't particularly suave and smooth when it comes to romance, due partly to inexperience, but he has a big heart and just needs a fella to fill it.
Biography: Mark moved to Eastpointe with his family when he was seven, so his dad could get a bigger office. His family weren't all that rich, but his mom had high aspirations and (after realising her son really wasn't that clever...) enrolled Mark in several, expensive sports clubs, hoping it'd do him good. To an extent, it did, and when Mark joined the high school, he was quickly scooped up to be on the sports team with the promise of a scholarship. It was not so good however, as Mark's grades quickly began to slip with sports and friends taking up his time.

The Defining Moment: He had a couple innocent elementary school crushes on a few boys in his class, and as he grew up he kind of figured out what that meant.
What others should know about them: Years of sports means Mark is a tough fella, not one to get into fights with. Mark isn't overly aggressive, but is easily riled up by crowds.
A Secret: His dad has an alcohol problem.
Guilty Pleasure: So-bad-they're-good movies
Why they are in the club: He wanted to get to know more people in a semi-safe environment

Appearance: (So maybe it's a little self absorbed to use my own face, but I can't find the type I want her to be. I'm not exactly it, either, but it'll do.)
I have a simple wardrobe. It mostly consists of skinny jeans, cheap knock off vans in various colors, v neck t's and hoodies. I'm a teenager. I'm not supposed to know how to dress like a person yet. Sue me. And maybe I'm a little chubbier than the cheerleaders, but who wants to cuddle up against a pile of bones? Nobody. At least, not me, and that's a good enough percentage of people that I'll take it.

Gender: Girl. Bitch. It depends on whether you ask me or the guy I got partnered with in Chem lab last week.

Nickname(s): A lot of the more jockier guys think it's fun to yell out "Hey Lezbo!" when they pass me in the halls. Some of the girls like to call me that when they stage whisper behind their hands as well. The less disgusting humans call me by my name.

Grade: Junior. This is my greatest downfall. I am nowhere near close enough to graduating from this pit of despair.
Sexuality: I'm rather firmly bisexual, though I do have a soft spot for broody guys.
Personality: I'm bubbly and full of sunshine, obviously. But really, I'm nice enough as long as you aren't a total jerk. I like playing video games and singing in the shower and playing with dogs. I like swinging in parks and getting giant slushie drinks. I like the occasional house party supplied with ample booze. I like to daydream about what life will be like once I'm out of this dump.
Biography: I was born in this town, raised in this town, and if I'm lucky, I won't die in this town. I'm one of those stereotypical "intelligent by birth, slacker by choice" kids that hates their mothers. And I guess I don't really hate her, but if you met her, and if you're from this town you probably have, I'm sure you can see why I find her infuriatingly annoying. Her favorite color is pink and like, oh my god, those jeans would look so good on her. She likes to pretend to be involved in the PTA so the other mothers can see her new dresses, and she leaves passive aggressive notes on our neighbors' doors when their yards aren't up to par. She hates that I don't "dress like a girl" or have a new boyfriend every week. But anyways, I'm ranting. I really need to get better at that... Back to me. So, I hate my mother, my dad's alright, and I've been in this god forsaken town my whole life. Right. The high school is the bane of my existence. It's full of bigots and assholes. The normal human population seems to be the minority. Most kids decided they hated me when I got caught kissing this girl my freshman year at some guy's house party. Before then, I guess I was moderately cool. I mean, I was a freshman at a house party, that says something about social status, right? Not that I cared about social status, but I've always liked partying. I guess that's one thing I have in common with my mother. Now, because of the kissing a girl thing, and my never having had a boyfriend, everyone assumes I'm this raging lesbian. It doesn't help that I have a boy's name. That's half right, I guess, but I like guys just as much as girls. I mean, sex is sex, and I don't see why you can't just fall in love with whomever you want. We're all the same.
People they have come out to: I sort of came out to everyone in the school when I was caught kissing that girl. I think her name was Maddy? I really don't remember. I don't even think she goes to my school.
Important people they have not come out to: My parents haven't been told. My father probably guesses it, and I'll probably tell him eventually, but if I don't have to, I'll never tell my mother. She would freak. Her with a freaky lesbian daughter? Oh the tragedy.
The Defining Moment: I had never even thought about it until freshman year. I mean, I always knew that I liked boys and girls (at least as soon as I started liking anybody in that way), but it didn't seem like a big deal to me.
What others should know about them: You should all know that there's a good chance I'll pretend to hate you, but as long as you're a decent human, I don't actually despise you. You should also know that I really like holding hands, even if we're just friends.
A Secret: I am fatally allergic to bullshit.
Guilty Pleasure: People. I actually really like people. Just not the people here.
Why they are in the club: I'm in this club because it's nice to be in a group of people that don't discuss how I'm the big bad lesbian when I walk by and actually talk to me like a normal person.
Most meaningful song: Seaside by The Kooks. My dad used to play guitar a lot and this was his favorite song to sing to me. He doesn't play as much now, and I really miss it.

Personality: Socially uncomfortable and awkward, she really wants to make friends but she just doesn't know how to begin doing so. In her heart of hearts, she'd like to think of herself as friendly but with how uncomfortable she is in most social settings, she usually comes off seeming quite the opposite. She makes mistakes and is sometimes too blunt when she talks to people but then she fails at saying what she really means to say.

Biography:
Born to parents who were strict, though not so much that they became the parents that all the other kids feared. They did, however, demand excellence from their only daughter. Everything about her was to be perfect, because they see her as perfect. They never meant to make her feel stressed, as they would often tell her when she would cry over not getting perfect scores as a child, they just could see her potential and wanted her to realize it.

Not that this has made it any easier for Bea, since her disapproving parents still refuse to let her go out to the mall and waste time if she has anything less than straight A's. It was at their insistence that she skipped a grade, too. This has led to a stunted social life for Bea, since all of her time is usually spend studying or working on homework.

When Bea entered high school, things got harder for her and way more confusing. With new hormones starting to perk up, she ended up with crushes on some of the girls and some of the guys except she wasn't quite sure if she was right about whether or not these were crushes, since she was getting crushes on girls. When she went to ask her parents, they got paranoid and flustered and perhaps a little angrier than was reasonable (fortunately they didn't know that she wasn't just asking about tingly feelings towards guys but girls too). They told Bea that they absolutely forbid her from dating anyone and told her that her thoughts were impure and licentious.

Now, with the club and everything, she hides her secret social life from her parents and tells them that she's studying instead of going to clubs. She's only ever been on one date with a guy, but she kept it super secret from her parents and the guy thought that she was weird for acting so nervous, anyway.

People they have come out to: Explicitly? Nobody. But she'd really like to do that.

Important people they have not come out to: Every girl she's ever liked and her parents.

The Defining Moment: When one of the girls she'd actually made friends with her sophomore year hugged her and not only did she get that happy, bubbly feeling but all she could think about was getting more hugs from her.

What others should know about them: Doesn't dislike people, actually enjoys the company! Just shy, honest!

A Secret: Sometimes takes stimulants or ADHD drugs before tests to get better grades.

Guilty Pleasure: Going dress shopping, she loves to try on the beautiful clothes that she would never really wear.

Why they are in the club: Bea really wants to come out to someone, but she's too afraid to tell her friends because she worries she'll lose the few female friends that she has and her parents are really strict.

Most meaningful song: "Dance" by Motorhead. It's mostly out of longing and she listens to it all the time, she wishes that she could feel that free and just let her cares go for a while.

Her main love is drawing, she loves to sketch and take in the beauty of the world around her. She believes in people, and still has faith in the world to be better.
Biography:Rein grew up in a small town in England, she often was looked at oddly from the people of England because of her attire, no body really accepted her for who she was. She loved different things, and she never really fancied any sports but her interests were always drawing and music. She loved the color black and always dressed differently from the other kids when she was young, even her parents didn't understand why she wasn't like all the other girls.Her mother a Doctor, and her father a veterinarian, they met in high school when her mother was "Captain" of the cheer leading team. When ever she tried to share her idea's most thought she was just silly, so she kept her thoughts to herself and in her drawings, and poetry. When she turned 14 her family moved right outside Eastepointe High school, and often when she spoke to others her accent proved where she came from. Even now at the age of 16 she remains rather quiet, having the tendacy to keep her thoughts to herself, only afraid to show them to others because they may think she is just silly.. Her idea's of fun are not like those of others, and she has few friends that she trusts in highschool now, her main goal is to get through this with the help of the this club she discovered, as she feels welcome there.

What others should know about them: She is rather strong hearted, and if you get on her bad side she will tell you. Not afraid to call anyone out, and has the tendency to meditate in the forest alone.
A Secret: Her parents do not accept her.
Guilty Pleasure: Reruns of old fashioned movies.
Why they are in the club: To help strengthen her to not keep her ideas to herself.

Yes, that was my complete intention. I'm glad you got that xD.

But anyway, mostly keeping in touch with Emmett and discussing plans for meetings, but since the Presidents are known school wide, to be the presidents of the club, they would most likely get the most shit from everyone else. Emmett and Tyler and Rein should be pretty familiar with each other, also.

EDIT: Thought The ranks are respectively President, Vice president and co vice president, they're all really equal positions, honestly.
