Heya! My name's Duck, or Mr. RocketDuck if you prefer. Pleased to meet you all!
I started RPing way back in City of Heroes (good night sweet prince), and after that I drifted through various games and IRC rooms, never quite finding a similar sense of community. So far I'm really impressed with what I see here, so I'm excited to get started! I especially like the "Roleplay Resume" concept, and I humbly invite you to check out mine.
Most of my experience is with single partner chat RP, single line or 2-3 paragraphs rapidly back and forth. I'm most comfortable in that format but I'm eager to give forum/group RP a try. Honestly I'm a little overwhelmed with the options here, so if anyone has suggestions for getting started, I'd love to hear it.
Sunshine and beaches or shade and air-conditioning?
Oh man, beaches, no question. Don't get me wrong, Netflix on a comfy couch in a cool dark room is awesome, but... I'm from Wisconsin. A beach on the Gulf of Mexico is my version of heaven.
