Propaganda - Influence a Nation!

I want to try my hand at Nation-ish rps, in this case, it would be a sole nation that would be the battlefield, each player starting with a minor politically inclined group in a vintage world where posters, newspapers and radios are the way to go to spread ideas. Of course, each group only start with the ability to start rumours from ear to mouth, with each convinced citizen gathering revenue for your cause, and thus more means to convince the unwashed masses of your group's noble ideals.

This would be a seamless endeavour, with actions leading to gains or losses and taking as little time as an hour to a full week to take place, each person having a main leader character that would issue orders and take action. I'm thinking of a Trait and Skill system to keep things simple. I would keep things tidy by issuing results and show the change wrought upon the as of yet nameless Nation, and would love to get some feedback, if you have any! :)
