After the Fall of Beacon, Vale was in disarray. What happened, who caused it or even what occurred was unknown. It was simple; one day, everything was normal, the next -- destruction and misery. It was as if the memory of everyone within Vale had been altered to completely erase any knowledge of whatever occurred. It has been two years since then and the situation is just as dire.

Communications to the other Kingdoms are down and anyone who manages to leave Vale is never heard from again. As such, a Coalition has formed -- former criminals, students and even established Hunters and Huntresses have come together to defend the people of Vale from the danger that lurks in every city, village and outpost. The Grimm have become far more dangerous and coordinated, and crime hasn't stopped which has left the Coalition running ragged without an end in sight.

Until recently, that is.

Set within Vale, it would be simplest to consider this RP to be a Post-Season 3 AU. Or rather, Post-Vytal Festival. Diverging from RWBY Canon, the Vytal Festival went off without issue until, all of a sudden, Beacon was in ruins and Grimm were overrunning the Kingdom. Students from every Kingdom were trapped within Vale and any attempt to escape was impossible. With no communications available, people were forced to come together to try and survive however possible.

Set two years after The Fall, our characters would be members of the Coalition, the only active peacekeeping group within Vale, tasked with a special assignment to get to the truth of The Fall and restore communications with the outside world. Due to the nature of the Coalition, our cast of characters are allowed to be a diverse ensemble. Some may have been Beacon students while others may have come from another Kingdom and some could even be established Hunters and Huntresses or people with darker, seedier backgrounds. The Coalition brought people together under the banner of survival, and for the past two years most people have worked together for that goal.

Though, there's still been a few more opportunistic individuals and groups.

Our cast would be an ensemble, comprised of these various individuals from various backgrounds. Some may have a preexisting history with other members, while others may simply be meeting their new teammates for the first time. Regardless, under the guidance of The Coordinator, Operation SWRD is officially underway.

Boomstick

Boomstick is a bit overloaded in it's design. The weapon has two separate forms. The first is a dust powered energy launcher. By locking in dust cartridges into it, the element that is launched is changed to it. There isn't much more to say other than that. However, her weapon does have an alternate form, where it splits in two pieced. The upper half condenses into an electric guitar and the lower half boxes itself into an amp. The guitar and amp are connected by the incredibly strong chord allowing the amp or guitar to be thrown or swung without fear of it breaking. Furthermore, the chord can be detached if needed, leaving the two seperate. Sunny typically keeps the amp strapped to her back, and the guitar is used as a bludgeoning weapon.

Sunny's semblance is not difficult to understand though it is quite an annoying one. Simply put, her semblance lets her amp up the sounds she makes. Sunny uses this, often times acting as either a method of distracting or a method of intimidating. Her semblance can be enhanced with dust, allowing her to exhale the element of the dust.

Personality
Sunny is a brash and bold soul who spends her time trying her best just to enjoy herself. Even when she is working or fighting, she makes sure what she is doing is fun for her. Being a bit of a daredevil and thrillseeker, she often times takes steps to make fights more interesting, much to the chagrin of others who might be with her. Even so, she is not afraid to handicap herself if it suits her mood. But when that does not suit her mood, she supplements it with overkill. Major, major overkill. Sunny can be loud and crass and this has a tendency to push people away. And this is the part where you expect me to say she's a nice person once you get to know her.

Brief History

The short story of Sunny was that her mother was a famous musician and huntress with a similar disposition as her. Her father tried his best to keep a handle on her, but seeing as how she was so alike her mother, he never was able to. Still she loved her father even if she listened so rarely. She never got to know her mother however, as she died during a hunt not long after. When Vale fell after the Vytal festival, Sunny couldn't find her father. She still keeps her normal demeanor, but tries to avoid the topic.

Description: Twin Long-Barreled Handguns with Folded Blades on the underside of the barrels. When triggered, the blades pop out and curve while the handle straightens out and elongates equal to the length of his arm. Upon transforming, Muspellzheimr becomes a Pair of Sickles, reminiscent of two scythes. The trigger can be compressed to release the blades, a chain keeping them tethered to the actual 'handle'. Said handles can be attached at the bottom to turn it into a dual-sided scythe. Muspellzheimr can be loaded with Dust, and when used as a medium for his Semblance, he can release powerful shots, akin to shotgun blasts, that are augmented by whichever Dust is in use.​

Born and raised on the streets, Noire is a man who has been forged by hardship and come through a bit more jaded, a bit more aloof and a little more than entitled. Noire is a person who finds it hard to empathize with others, having been through his own struggles, he naturally expects others to be able to deal with their own issues. His mentality is that of 'it's a dog eat dog world'; the strong survive, the weak die. It's as simple as that. You either have the conviction to take what you want or you allow yourself to be walked over.

This mentality, which has been ingrained in her since his youth, is what's guided him and kept him alive. He is a fighter and survivor above all else; quick on his feet and with a strong mental fortitude, he displays all of the traits one would suspect of someone forced to grow and survive mostly on their own. Quick-witted, he's capable of talking himself out of trouble, but his remarks and comments can sometimes land him in hot water with people who don't take kindly to his words or attitude. When that occurs, he isn't afraid to get his hands dirty. Noire is a scrapper – a fighter. When backed into a corner, like any dog, he'll bear her teeth and lash out at anyone who threatens him or his.

Brief History:

The bastard son of a Hunter and a Faunus, he spent much of his youth in an orphanage until he struck out on his own. With a checkered past, he eventually wound up within Vale at Beacon Academy. He was given a chance to do something with his life by one of the Instructors who came across him, and for two years he steadily proved himself as a capable Hunter-In-Training and showed himself to be dedicated and grateful to the opportunity afforded to him. After the Fall of Beacon and the Vytal Festival, he didn't hesitate to join up with the Coalition, becoming an 'official' Hunter. For the past two years, he's done what he's could -- hunting both Grimm and Criminals to maintain the haphazard peace.​

She uses twin katanas called Heaven's Judgement, that when combined by their hilts can serve either as a large, double-bladed sword, or, as a bow that she can fire arrows from. She has some arrows that are infused with dust, and are able to do different things. Her ice arrows, for example, don't really harm the enemy, just immobilize them by freezing.

Her Semblance allows her to feel some things others don't, like other people's auras or incoming attacks. It doesn't do much in the way of sensing Grimm though, unless she's already engaged in combat with them and "felt them out", due to their lack of Aura.

Style: Speed/Technique - Slayer

Personality: She always strives to be a positive change in the world, be it fighting for Faunus rights, or fighting the Grimm. She's kind and optimistic, although she does often feel helpless in the face of the world's evil. She often doubts herself, never sure if she's on the right path, and she can sometimes get lost in her crusade to save this world, leading her to questionable choices. She adores all that is dark and mysterious, seeing some odd beauty in the unknown.

Brief History:

Born in Atlas to a family of Faunus, she often had it hard, growing up, having to deal with cruel humans and their prejudice. She endured, however, and with her resolve to fix the world, she applied to Atlas Academy, where, to her surprise, she was accepted. The years before the Fall of Beacon, she worked her hardest to become a Huntress, and she excelled at her studies. When she heard the news about Beacon, she knew what she had to do, and she was determined to do so - she had to go there and help however she could.

    Note:
    Albus has never been able to manifest a semblance and even his control over his own Aura is lacking, as he has barely enough control over it to activate dust with it. However, what he lack in a semblance he make up for in a versatile arsenal.
  • Weapons:
    Agartha is a firearm styled to look like an old-school flintlock pistol, however while its casing seems old it the weapon itself is a high-tech firearm capable of holding much more bullets than a regular flintlock pistol could and multiple dust cartridges - three at a time - and easily switching back and forth between them. Agartha also has two specialty firing modes:

    Caspar Shot - Located within the barrel of Agartha are four little blades that, when a button near the gun's trigger is pressed, slices the bullet so far that once shot, it will break open into four small fragments. This is often coupled with the use of some form of dust, which usually results in a short ranged dust explosion.

    Max Shot - This is a simple overclocking of the gun, making it incapable of being used little more than one or two times in quick succession. A Max Shot of Agartha simply means a bullet traced with multiple types of dust. These are drawn from two, or even all three, of the slotted in dust cartridges and traced onto one bullet.

    Acerbatus works very much as Albus' fall back plan should his enemy come to close for combat with a rifle. They are two twin daggers which each have a small revolver pistol crafted onto their handle. However, Acerbatus are very simple weapons, lacking any transformation abilities or even the capability to use dust.

  • Personality:
    Albus is often defined by his lust and greed for knowledge, his drive to learn anything and everything paired with his surprisingly good memory has made him into the character he is now. He tries his very best to learn everything he can about the people and places around him and tries to use that knowledge to do good, both on a larger and smaller scale.

    And while he usually has a devil-may-care attitude and lives by the motto of 'Live and let live', he is very pragmatic, believing that the ends always justify the means. He is willing to do anything and everything if he believes that it is for the greater good, whatever this greater good may be.

    Brief History:
    Albus was originally an orphan after his home was ravaged by Grimm, when it happened he was barely older than a year old. Due to his young age at the time of this event, it has never truly effected him way too much. He was always used to growing up in an orphanage and if it had not been for some of the workers at that orphanage telling him when he had asked, Albus would not even have known that his former home had been attacked.

    When he grew older it was his intellect and skill that managed to get him his way into Atlas Academy, despite his apparent lack of a semblance and almost complete inability to control his aura. He was one of the most studious students of his year, doing his best to pull through despite him lacking a major part of huntsmen and huntress training. Once he heard of the fall of Beacon his curiosity and unending greed for knowledge led him to stay in Vale after the attack on the Vytal Festival, for one to help the citizen and also to find out why such an attack happened in the first place.

Large dual fans which Camellia can use as shields and weapons. They hold small switches for dust usage, lining the ends of the fans' blades which the wielder can then use for a short or long distance elemental attack. At the bottom of the fans' handles are retractable cords that allow the wielder to throw then yo yo the fans back if necessary. They also allow for the fans to work like grappling hooks if skilled enough.

The fans double as twin machine pistols.

Semblance:


Camellia's Semblance allows her to create clones of herself that attack at a fraction of her strength. These clones share the same mindset as her, and the real Camellia can change switch between visions. Camellia carries extra Dust on her to give to her clones' weapons for stronger elemental attacks if she can pull it off.

The clones themselves are pretty fragile and can break with a few strong hits. When they are defeated, they erupt into pink flower petals that can temporarily block the opponent's vision long enough for a follow up attack from Camellia, or give her a head start to run away.

The most clones Camellia can make is 10, but she's learning to make more.

Personality:

Very sweet, soft spoken, and polite, Camellia is a young woman who her parents raised to be the "proper young lady" of their corporation. At one point, she lived and breathed corporate life but as of now, she is working to take back her life and discover who she is. She is an "actions speak louder than words" type of woman that rather than just saying she will do something, she goes and does it. Camellia is also a fan of giving nicknames to people she meets and tends to be rather creative with what she gives people.

Growing up, after witnessing the disgusting behaviors of the rich and entitled firsthand, Camellia goes out of her way to make other people happy when she can; this includes Faunus. She refuses to ever behave like a pompous princess.



Brief History:

Camellia is the daughter and heir to a wealthy weapon manufacturing corporation located at the heart of Atlas. She was given the princess treatment and raised to live and breathe for Zuval Corporation. Due to how she was treated at a young age, Camellia behaved as one would expect of a rich little girl. She was spoiled rotten, a total brat, and would treat her maids and butlers like garbage. Camellia had believed that the world revolved around her and she could never get in trouble. One butler in particular tried to talk some sense into her, but she ignored him at first believing him to be wrong.

One day, however, she witnessed the disgusting behavior against Faunus. She felt bad for the Faunus receiving the treatment, but didn't think anything of it until she saw her maids look at her with the same contempt that the Faunus looked at the humans who mistreated them. A look she never forgot and horrified Camellia. She realized then and there that people didn't like her nearly as much as she had first thought, and that the butler was right. Camellia didn't want to be one of those people to mistreat others. She wanted to stay away from that behavior as much as possible, and with the help of the butler, she was retaught from the ground up regarding behavior.

Her behavior to this day is thanks to the butler who did his best to put her on the right track. Camellia thanks him every day with a higher pay and sometimes calls him "uncle."

The life of corporation and seclusion soon began to take its toll, with the Huntress lifestyle becoming more and more attractive. Camellia wanted to help others, but there was no way she could do such a thing being holed up in an office all day. In secret, she paid a Hunter to train her in combat and help her purchase a weapon that would be suitable for her. Only when she was accepted into Beacon did her parents realize what she was doing. Believing this to be a "phase," they allowed her to go and fully expected her to return crying about how being a Huntress was too hard and she wanted a cozy job behind the desk. To their surprise, she continued attending and even joined the Coalition after the fall of the Academy. They are now threatening to disown her if she does not return home soon.

Weapon: Hidden Eight
Categorized by weapon makers as a "Machine Pistol Dust Saber" (or M.P.D.S.), the Hidden Eight's default appearance closely resembles that of a MAC-10 SMG, and operating roughly the same, focusing more on the quantity of ammunition fired rather than the quality of aim. Like many other firearms, the Hidden Eight can use dust rounds for elemental shots, but the true purpose of this feature comes once the weapon has transformed into its alternate mode. By folding the weapon into itself, it becomes the hilt of its saber mode, which creates a beam of pure dust once the trigger is pulled; however, this dust beam has a limited life, forcing the user to expend additional rounds of dust ammunition to prolong it.

Unlike many one-of-a-kind weapons, crafted for a particular hunter or huntress, the Hidden Eight was a mass production weapon that was quickly discontinued shortly after its introduction to the market due to its various flaws.

Semblance: Kibi-dango
A disturbing ability from most accounts, Momo can "tame" the creatures of Grimm, although it is uncertain whether she is able to gain their consent indirectly or forcibly overwrites their wills and personalities into something more subservient. The creatures converted can be visibly noted as their colors take on their inverted hues, with black fur becoming white, white plating becoming black, and red eyes and markings becoming blue. Once turned, these beasts act as pets and guardians to Momo, following her orders while willing to sacrifice their very lives to protect her. While there seems to be no visible exertion in maintaining whatever hold she has on her tamed Grimm, the process of conversion itself completely exhausts her, making it unfit for combat use unless in the direst of circumstances.

Personality:
Due to her upbringing, Momo is highly mistrustful of others, preferring to interact in public with a facade of friendliness and cheer save for the occasional snarky retort should her mask crack. In truth, she is loyal only to herself, finding nothing of value in friendship and comradery save for those she can manipulate for her benefit.

Brief History:
Everything changed the morning she looked into the mirror and could not recognize the face that peered back. For so long had she lived for the benefit of him that her personality, her will, her dreams; all had been erased at the behest of another. Was there anything beneath the mask she had crafted to appease them or had she never lived in the first place?

She had been deemed the useless child; the dim shadow of the shining light that was her brother. Her parents, a lackluster and a failure, chose to live vicariously through his successes and when it came to the consequences, the hardships, the disappointments, and the punishments, she was to be their sin-eater. The greatest cruelty was being tricked into believing their lies, that she deserved all of this, that her sacrifices were worth it in the name of love and family.

If he, the beloved child, the favorite, knew that his life had been built atop her back, he did not show it. Unfortunately, ignorance would not spare him in being the target of her wrath once she could no longer contain it. In most cases, he needn't worry, for he was the skilled one, the talented one, the superior in combat and tactic, but nothing would have prepared him for the revelation of her semblance.

"Didn't you once tell me that I was a friendless loser? Well... I made some friends."

When he next woke, he would find himself in one of the many hospitals of Argus, alive in one-piece, but forever broken. She had taken back her freedom and dreams, even if it meant bleeding out the last bits of blood that connected her to her family, and possibly, her humanity.

Inspired mostly by the myth of Momotarō, with some references to the peaches of immortality in Chinese folklore.

6'0", with a lean build with toner muscles in some areas, he has a tattoo of the number "33" in simple black inking on the back of his left hand. It is usually covered with sleeves or a glove.







Weapon:

Fragarach

A zweihander that can split into long, thin duel rapiers. The entirety of the blade is hollow and is one large dust compartment, with a trigger built into the hilt of the sword(s). The sword itself is extremely ornated, colored pure white with a clear reinforced glass streak down the middle of the blade(s) displaying the dust type and supply inside.

In zweihander form, it is capable of close-range combat, with the ability to fire off powerful dust shellings in melee range. The combination of two long dust compartments allows the user to choose which dust compartment the shelling sources off of.

Its duel rapier form is its default form, slender blades more used for fast-paced hit and run style attacks, though it is primarily a mid-ranged weapon with its ability known as Fragarach: Whirlwind, a slashing attack that launches dust simultaneously, extending the range of the slash to more than close combat range.

The final long-ranged form is of a double-barreled, musket-like rifle, with blades still present, acting as a bayonet. This is the easiest form to reload the extremely long dust compartments, and it shares the ammo from the compartments with its melee forms.

Blue/Green in hue, though one may occasionally catch it flashing a Red/Yellow-ish tint

Oracle Trance

A semblance that grants user unparalleled battle precognition, allowing accurate predictions of enemy movements, attacks, and in some cases even change in terrain and tactics. The precognitive information becomes more accurate as the user gains more information about the situation. Despite its powerful utility, it drains a large amount of aura very rapidly and provides enough information to induce sensory overloads. In order to control these drawbacks, the time of a single trance is limited to 90 seconds, less if the user's aura supply has already been depleted.

Its ability to make long term predictions are unstable and only manifest in the form of precognitive dreams on occasion.

Style:
Endurance + Sembalence // Tactician

Personality:
Extroverted, well-spoken and charismatic, Arsen is the definition of a social butterfly, an opportunist and sometimes hedonist, he has a perpetual smile in nearly all social situations. That cheerfulness is sometimes eerie in certain situations, as he can be harsh, cunning and manipulative all while keeping the demeanor. Despite being polite and friendly towards everyone, Arsen does not seem to have anyone particularly close to him. He himself does not seem bothered by this though.

Brief History:
Presented as the heir of his father's military-joined weaponry design lab at the age of 16, Arsen's childhood remains largely unknown to everyone around him, the only information that he had disclosed himself was that his mother was a mistress of his father who died in childbirth. It appears that his father did not want military influence on his heir, as the boy's skills as a huntsman were developed through a privet education system instead of any academy.

However, his combat prowess, backed up by a powerful semblance and unnaturally large aura reserve, allowed him to comfortably compete with academy-trained hunters and huntresses. Other than combat abilities, Arsen had proven himself to be a capable family head as well, having attended the 40th Vytal Festival despite his father's mysterious assassination just weeks prior. Though his reasons to remain in Vale and letting his family legacy fall into disrepair after the Fall of Beacon is difficult to deduce.

Arsen's father, the founder of Morel Technologies, one of the lead competitors of Zuval .Corp and a developmental site for the Atleasian military was a successful, innovative and brilliant man, being a skilled hunter in his own right during his youth. Despite that, his own son and daughter were lazy and spoiled, without the talent nor diligence to inherit any of his legacies. This drove the aging man to crisis and despair, leading to the creation of the "Successor Children" project.

Conning, bribing and sometimes straight-up hiring women to convince children for him, it resulted in over 40 half-siblings who were all potential heirs of the corporation. Obsessed with his own experiences, the father not only educated these children to be heirs but also trained them to be hunters and huntresses from an early age. It soon separated the talented from the...less talented.

Arsenikos, No.33 in line, had the powerful semblance of precognition, yet he was limited in usage of it due to its massive drainage of aura. Being only able to hold his predictive trance for about 12 seconds at once. Desprit to take advantage of this power, his father privately evoked the experimental aura transferring technology Atlas was developing at the time. This proved to be a slippery slope as the stronger successor children being allowed to siphon aura from the weaker ones became the norm over time. It left many too weak to pursue the life of a huntsman, some even died, others fled.

At age 16 Arsen became the last one standing of the original group, he was named heir and was briefly sent to Atlas Academy as proof of the superiority of his father's corporation, where he was often unsettled by the new environment. It was a few years later before Arsen found out what the events of his childhood were in reality, he chose not to disclose them to anyone. Instead, he simply opted for killing his father and masked it as an assassination before heading off for the Vytal Festival.

Description: Magnetic Modular Sword. In its base form, Axis is a greatsword. The blade is the length of Alizarin's body, with the handle being the length of her forearm. When the trigger is pressed, the blade breaks apart, revealing the real Axis is more akin to a katana. The 'greatsword' was comprised of several other blades (ten in total) that are magnetically linked to the katana and are controlled by a glove she wears on her left hand. Due to its nature, when not in use, Axis typically 'floats' against her back.​

Brief History:

No one knows anything of Titania aside from the fact, by all rights, she doesn't exist. Many surmise, due to seeing her fight and the way she carries herself, she is an Atlesian Operative. Aside from that, she is one of the Founders of The Coalition, though she rarely assumes a role of leadership. However, she has been placed in charge of spearheading Operation SWRD.​

Appearance

Bez stands at a height of 5'9, with a slender build that does not relay the 219 lbs that constitute his muscles, bones, scale, claws, and tail. His teeth are shorter and rounder than other humans, and as such, there is roundness, a drawl to his speech. As Bez's eyes are placed more to the side of his head than the front, he habitually cocks his head slightly to one side when he talks with people; the sideways glance, combined with his monstrous face and unblinking, yellow eyes, gives him quite an intimidating glare. His tail is not prehensile, and usually more of a bother than anything else, preventing him from using certain chairs and always getting stepped on by assholes. He's considered, on more than one occasion, to simply cut it off. He regularly files his claws too, keeping them blunt enough that a handshake won't draw blood or anything gruesome like that.

And yes, if Bez really wants to, he's most certainly capable of squirting a hot stream of blood out from his eyes. But, outside of getting drunk before a talent show, he hasn't.

Weapon
A blacksteel axe, with a long haft, a dense blade, and a spike on the other side of the hook. It's nameless, and is the same weapon Bez pulled out from the shattered box on the night of Beacon's Fall. As far as an 'official', 'multifunctioning' Hunter's weapon goes, Bez is still discussing with technicians what exactly he wants.

Personality

Bez is a cold-blooded fellow despite his dulcet voice. He moves with deliberation, never in a rush towards any destination. With a face that is unreadable unless he goes out of his way to exaggerate his expressions, a quiet menace constantly stalks Bez, his muscles never quite relaxed as he goes through his day-to-day routine. Vigilance has become the norm for him, even before the Fall of Beacon, and though he's not looking for trouble, he keeps his guard up, his chin down, and gets his job done. Of course, Bez is still young, and though he's guarded, he doesn't think of himself as jaded. Sometimes, against his better judgment, he'll take it easy, do stupid things, blow steam, and let someone he thinks of as a friend in on his personal philosophy.

Brief History

Before the Fall, Bez worked in a warehouse owned by the Zuval Corporation, keeping his head down and his productivity up as he made ends meet. It was a two hour round trip from his small, squalid apartment to the warehouse, and he made that trip every time, no matter exhaustion, weather, injury, or sickness. Manual labour for the desperate and uneducated didn't come with benefits or sick leave, after all, especially not when your boss spouted out the same rhetoric that his boss, that half-beasts should be happy they haven't be replaced by machinery from Atlas yet, or whatever else. Bez let those words slip off his scales like rain, but some of it always seeped in regardless.

Didn't matter though. Money was money, and you needed that to survive.

Or at least, you did, until Beacon fell, and the Grimm flooded the city, and the machinery that Atlas brought in were wholly useless. There weren't enough Hunters for the amount of enemies present, nor enough guards to protect the warehouse that Bez was working in either. Some were swallowed whole, others were torn to shreds, still more were pulverized into bits. Death everywhere, and no amount of money would save you. In that chaos, Bez smashed open a crate, pulled out the first thing he saw, and let the violence of his imagination run wild.

In the aftermath, nothing remained but Bez and his pot-bellied, human boss. With an ax still smoking from cleaving through a Beowulf's skull, he looked around, noted no one else was watching, and raised his ax one last time.



Two years passed since then. Leveraging the large inventory of weaponry still inside the warehouse, Bez got himself in the Coalition, and was soon trained in the usage of Aura and Semblance. He picked it up fast, rising in competence at a rate that even surprised himself.

But maybe it shouldn't have been too surprising.

Leave it up to a monster to deal with monsters, no?

Dull brown/reddish, plated gauntlets gauntlets that extend to just below the elbow. The gauntlets each have a firearm barrel protruding out the side which can be adjusted to point at a variety of angles and loaded with dust. This allows Dorn na Beinne to shoot dust similar to how a flamethrower functions or to fire charged shots. It can also perform the duty of a thruster, giving extra force to hits or pushing, pulling and reorienting Bruno during combat.

Semblance: Bruno's aura behaves differently than others. While others' Aura will typically attempt to replenish itself when damaged or depleted, Roy's instead goes toward enhancing his muscles. The aura of others tends to focus on defense whereas his looks to offence. As his own aura is depleted in battle, his attacks grow more powerful. When his aura is depleted, his attacks are incredibly powerful, however he is as well very vulnerable to attacks due to the natural defense that Aura provides being gone. All the same, since a minimal amount of the Aura his body regenerates goes toward recovering said defense, it tends to take him longer to fully recover from wounds or injuries than others.

Brief History: A criminal who capitalized on the fall of Beacon and compromise of Vale to regain his freedom while the prison he rot in was toppled. Bruno at one point was a worry for travellers and traders on the road, and even for villages too small for the military or anyone to pay much heed to. A bandit lord who raided, stole and killed with his band of merry criminals. However, as all nuisances to society, his band was eventually arrested or killed and Bruno was imprisoned in one of Vale's most secure prisons. That is, until the fall occurred and the man used the opportunity as a convenient get out of jail free card. It's a wonder to some how he came to be in a leadership position within the coalition given his past and demeanor, however his leadership skill and the man being the equivalent of a smaller Atlesian mech allow others to begrudgingly accept the man as a "necessary evil".
