Violent attacks from a army yet to show its allegiance have begun popping up around the group of continents this RP would take place in. War is brewing and the resent assassination of the king of the Prince/Princess's neighboring land has gotten it near boiling point. To create a alliance in the upcoming war a marriage between the Prince/Princess and the new ruler of the neighboring land has been arranged by his/her father. A knight of the highest ranking is chosen to accompany him/her disguised as their retainer.

Name: Flint Corinth
Gender: Male
Age: 26

Personality: A quiet, steely type. Flint is fearless and quick thinking, both important factors in his survival within the heat of battle. He doesn't talk much, finding most conversation pointless. Due to him spending most of his time on the battlefield he has a bad habit of thinking the worst of everyone he meets and jumping to conclusions too quickly.

History: Born of a long line of warriors Flint was trained the ways of battle at a very early age. He joined the army as soon as possible and quickly rose up the ranks. He was known on the field of battle for his unflinching demeanor and a time when his sword broke and instead of falling back, he used it until there was nothing left but hilt.

PERSONALITY
Being raised as the only girl in a family full of boys made her stronger than most females. She is unafraid to be in a fight, and often starts them inadvertently. She struggles with maintaining her composure when she is talked down to or doubted, as she is quick to anger and is unafraid to speak her mind. But she is also quick to apologize, knowing when she is in the wrong. Due to her regal training, which she did not enjoy, she knows how to be authoritative with people, her commands rarely going unheard; though she rarely uses the technique, finding it reminds he of her mother.

History
She grew up in as the youngest in a family of all boys, and so was often picked on by her siblings. Her mother forced her to go to classes to improve her etiquette, though she hated the classes. She much preferred learning about her country and exploring, taking up the bow and arrow at a young age and gaining great skill the the instrument. She was well aware of the war that was going on across the continent, and was willing to do anything to help, though she was unhappy about the arranged marriage.

The port was silent, emptied out for the safety of the royal family. Peasants were gathered in great mass at its ends, all fighting for a better view. The carriage holding the princess would be arriving soon. High standing knights stood in two lines parallel to each other, making a road for the carriage. The ship was still fairly far away, a black dot in the vast sea. The rest of the family was meant to be there already, the eldest and tallest brother, Prince Callus however, was late.

"Put the damn robe on man."

"This is ridiculous."

"Would you rather risk the life of your princess?"

"..."

"Allow me to rephrase
that. Would you rather be demoted?"

"...Fine."

Mira sat silently in her carriage, gazing out of the slightly see through curtains. She had a small frown on her face, and her ladies in waiting sat beside her in silent worry. Mira was not looking forward to the voyage or the destination, though there was nothing she could do about it. Not that she would, as the marriage would greatly help her people. She only wished that she had at least met the prince before. She sighed, calling the attention of her of her maid, sitting opposite of her.
"My lady, may i inquire as to whats put that awful frown on your lovely face."
" It is nothing Amelia. Nothing that can be helped at any rate."
She pulled back from the window as the cart got closer to the docs, leaning back into her seat and looking down at her gloved hands.

Bright. Blue. Robe. No sword. A fucking flute. Flint took a slow series of steps out of the allyway, following Prince Callus. The eldest son had long hair that was prematurely greying and a thin face. He stood next to his brothers and pointed discreetly to his side.

Flint swore under his breath and took his place, face twisted into a grimace. He heard one solider hide a snicker and shot him a deathly glance. The solider shut up. He watched the carriage approach with hate, no man should go from slicing up enemies of his people to dressing like a moron and baby sitting some princess.
