It had been a bit of a long trip thanks to him, but they finally reached the lake. He stepped into the water a few feet deep until his injury was underwater. He growled slightly at the relaxed feeling and lowered his head to drink water. Moving his head up, he looked at her and walked towards her.
 
Tara waded into the water to drink. The lifted her head at Tiyrac's approach, water dripping from her jaws.
 
Tiyrac walked along her side, rubbing his snout against her scales with a low growl, in thanks for all of her patience with him. His tail also rubbed her side as he continued walking and then went to the shore to lay down once more.

A month passed after the fight that broke his leg. Now Tiyrac was back, running and hunting like before. His leg was still healing, but there was no pain or difficulties anymore. He was now stalking behind the trees at the herbivores absent of his presence, his golden eyes brightly picking on his next pray.
