Predator: Eyes of the Demon

He took her hand and turned his back to her, which placed her on his back. Iron Side then worked fast and jumped up through the sky light again, giving him a good view of what lied below. What he thought was police sirens tunred out to be fireman a few blocks over, but at least it brought him to his senses, as well as the girl.

Iron Side looked around for anyone that might be watching and saw nothing. With a few sure feelings, Iron Side took his chance and started jumping the roof tops. Eventually this girl would start pointing him the way to her home, but he just hoped that when this was over, his elder would nt penalize him.

"Um... Can you just leave me here?" she said as they jumped into the housing district. "I know my way... My granddad's home is just down the street. I'd rather not show up on a... Whatever you are." Adri laughed a little, not knowing what else to do. Honestly, she wasn't sure if she was even awake at the moment. She really just wanted everything to end.

She could tell that her laughter was frantic and hysterical, though she wasn't sure if the creature could tell.

Iron Side understood fully what she was saying, but knew not to just put her down anywhere. She could have a run in with another gang and make another slaughter he'd have to deal with. Too many deaths in one night would raise suspicion greatly, so it was going to be his way or the highway. Which to her would proably feel best.

Iron Side immediately came to a stop at the housing area of Baton Rouge. He saw multiple poeple driving in and out of their homes, so most likely the girl lived around here. Helooked over shoulder at her and waited for her to poiunt the rest of the way.

"Come on... Put me down, the house is right there!" she said.

She pointed to her grandparents' house, just a few houses down from where they were. "I can walk from here!"

Iron Side could see thousands of heat signatures in the area, this definitely showed that people lived around here. While the girl's words just sounded like mumbled noise, until it was processed through his mask. Her house was a few more jumps away or if came to mind she could walk. Thing about it was he was just jumping, he never showed her how high up they were. And when he walked over to the edge to see a fifty foot drop, he knew he could make, but it would scare the shit out of her. It was a risk to take though. Iron Side turned himself invisible, then jumped.

"Oh my god..." Adri muttered. She shut her eyes and buried her face in the being's shoulder. "Come on..." Adri didn't want to look around anymore. She was feeling slightly nauseous and she really just wanted to pass out.

Adr made a silent promise to herself and others to never go out on her own and get into trouble.

The Devil's body felt no shock or worry from the jum, so he didn't understand why the girl was freaking out. Although he was doing an easy task, that didn't mean his clan would approve of this so easily as well. Iron Side had to think closely on how to make this woman believe he was not real. And the easiest way would be to knock her unconcious. At least until morning. And when morning would come, so would judgement of his outragious event which is now in motion.

He made a quick sprint behind a car, then used his thermal vision to track her foot prints. The hunters held many visions that made them even more of the perfect killers, that they already are. Her tracks lead from a blue house at the window of the upper level. If he remebered from scanner her with nuero vision, she was a young teenager by the coming age of 17 or so. He was quick to start climing upward and into her room, making a loud thud as his feet touched the floor.

Afterwards, he started hearing footsteps coming up towards them. Which meant her over-seers were coming to investigate the suspicous bang. He was smarter this time, he quickly grabbe the girl's shirt and tossed her on her bed. Then he backed up against the wall and turned invisible before he could be seen.

"Ow, hey!" Adri said as she was thrown onto the bed. She sat up quickly, just as her grandma opened the door and peeked in.

"Is everything alright?" she asked. "What was that sound?"

Adri turned red. "Huh? I'm fine, but I... I uh... Kicked my backpack off of the bed and it dropped louder than I expected," she lied. After all, how could she tell her the truth? First, she had left without permission, then she had met a... Whatchamacallit-giant-scary-guy. She COULD say that. If she wanted to end up in an insane asylum.

Her grandma left again, leaving Adri to look around her room startled. She said and laid back on her bed. "For God's sakes... What the heck was that guy?"

The girl's overseers were gone, the girl was alone with him, and he now had to think of a way to make her think this was a dream. Even if he did, the girl would still have questions as of to why the dreams were of him. For instance what he was and why she was having the dream. If he did execute this, he'd need to lay low from her suspicions, as well as the authorities when he returns to make trophies of the gangsters.

Although what was the best way to get her to sleep, waiting would waste time of his hunt. And simply making sure stays asleep wasn't apart of his way. Iron Side had other afairs to attend to, so the only other option that ran through his intillect was to take matters into his own claws. Which he so rightiously would.

Still holding his cloak, he made his way over to her bedside and got behind her head. He stood about 7'9 to her, she seemed at the hight of 5'7. Which brought her weight and endurance into factor. He weighed the same here as he did on his planet, but was his strength, however, was five more than the strict human body builder. So he wrapped his left arm around her throat and his right hand over her mouth to keep her quiet. He applied little pressure to her which would cause the sleeper hold. But instead he quickly knocked her out with a hit at the head.

Adri was taken by surprise. Before she could shout, something covered her mouth. The next thing she knew, she felt a pain in the back of her head as she was knocked unconcious.

She dropped limply to the floor. Hours later, she woke up around 6 in the morning.

During the night, Iron Side was recieving a brutal trial to prove his worth again. After showing himself so easily to the girl, his brothers found this as sin to their code of honor, that kept them secret for so long. This was something punishable by death, but instead the hunters gave him a chance to redeem himself. He was to survive the night unarmed and brutally beaten, all while finding his way back to his ship.

So far the cloak of night was good for hiding his steps. He was highly wounded and was loosing blood quickly, but was still able to keep moving without losing consiousness. Iron Side was trained hard by his brothers, letting go and giving up was not an option, to do that would mean death. Death by becoming a trophy, becoming prey. It'd be a long stroll since his near fatal beating, added on by his stressing walk. How he could persist through it so easily showed what title he truely should have. And his brothers would answer.

Arriving on to his ship as it uncloaked, he got inside and used a medicom. An injectore that closes up their wounds, then placed a burning blue paste on the open wounds. It burned so much until he roared load under the cover of the factory. Once he was healed, Iron Side noticed a new armor on the inside of his armory. It belong to the Wolf ranked hunters of his people. He put the armor on and found it to be a perfet fit, as well as the mask which carried a messege.

The hunt begins....

The next night, Adri sat outside on her grandparents' porch swing. The back of her head hurt a little, but other than that, all she could remember of the previous night was the dream she had.

"Hey little lady, let's go to the club eh?" a voice said, breaking her from her thoughts.

She looked up to see a man standing on the side walk with his group of friends. There were about five total, Adri had seen them in the neighborhood before.

She shook her head, "Um... No thanks, I'm good."

"C'mon, we'll have a fun time," he persisted.

With his honor restored and new armor received, the hunter escorted himself back to his urban hunting ground. Hidden under the cloak of his invisibility gave him the perfect opportunity to grab the information he needed, in order to continue his quest. The message that came along with his mask was about the girl he had so abruptly made unconscious that night. Apparently the gangs had a small connection to her and the rest of the city, making this a job of important measure. The hunter would need to stay close to the girl, watch her from afar while gathering his information. From the top of a deli, Iron side stalked the girl named Adri with the closest of attention. Anything she did, anywhere she went alone with family was important to know.

It was morning with the sun acting like a permanent camera, never failing and never loosing sight of him. His invisibility held strong though, making him unseen by human eyes, special optics, and other surveillance nearby. Looking over the edge and kneeling down on his knee, Iron Side's mask locked on Adri, and listened in on her conversation. It was obvious that she was confused, just like he predicted she would. She seemed to have encountered a male subject of her species, who seemed very persistent to take her with him.

"C'mon, we'll have a fun time."

The hunter knew exactly what he meant, especially when he moved over to scan him with Neurol vision. He was apart of a gang called "Le Serviteurs." A voodoo gang of Jamaicans that soon broadened their horizons into other races. They were know for flaying their enemies by hanging them from the roof by their feet, then cutting out their heart in a ritual. This showed perfect opportunity for who the blame could be put on for his kills. The hunters killed the same way, only they skinned their opponent and did not partake in rituals. This put the girl in grave danger, so Iron Side for now would have to watch over her.

After a while of resisting, Adri finally gave in. The guy hadn't stopped bugging her. After all, they would just go out and have fun, what was more, he was mildly attractive too. She called in to tell her grandmother where she was going, after a brief farewell, Adri walked over to the young man.

He wrapped an arm around her, "That's right girly, let's go have fun."

Adri rolled her eyes a little, turning away. Of course she planned on ditching him as soon as she was done "having fun". He chatted along the way, his friends following closely behind, but Adri remained silent, aside from saying "yeh" or other mindless words of agreement.

It was unbelievable to the hunter for a moment, she was falling into a trap so easily. It was obvious from the tone of the boy's voice, but apparently she couldn't see it. Iron Side started questioning how a gang war could be connected to her family but shook it off after a minute. His job was to keep close and watch her, not watch her fall. If the connection was true, then maybe this would be good for his hunt, he'd be able to kill the stragglers. Taking out the grunts of a gang would draw out the big prey, making the game so much easier.

He croutched slowly along the roofs lining, stalking the group of boys around Adri. He had to be sure to strike at the right time, for if he missed his mark, the concequences would be fatal for her. And being the only link he has, she had to live under his watch.

Adri started getting nervous as they led her toward a darker district of the town. "Um... I change my mind," Adri said quickly. "I'm going home."

She turned and started walking away. Before she could get away from the group of boys, one of them shoved her into a wall harshly. "Where do you think you're going, eh?" he asked, putting a hand to her neck.

"You know," the first one said, "We have strict orders, but I think we should have a little fun first."

Like he predicted, the girl quickly came under attack from the group of males. And right on time if he had placed it any better. They had trapped her in the darker part of the town, where nobody would see them die. No one except the girl that is, but she probably wouldn't question it, as long as they were out of her hair. And as her demonic guardian, he would oblidge to her dark request of the mind. His cloak turned on and he leaped own nearby quietly, aiming his left arm bracer at one of them. Seconds later his bracer fired a net at one of them, pinning him to a wall. When he struggled to get out the spikes holding up the netspun around and started tightening the grin of the razor sharp threading.

The group of boys then scrambled quickly, looking in all directions trying to see where it came from. But the one holding Adri by the neck simply turned his head looking around, not moving an inch. Iron Side then pulled out his whip and grabbed him by the throat, then pulled him away from her. His friends simply stood there in fright, grabbing at his feet trying to stop him from drifting away by... nothing as they'd see it. When Iron Side got him he snapped his neck and threw him back to his friends.

Two down three to go. He sprinted towards them and jabbed his fist straight at one member's head, cracking his skull into pieces beneath his skin. He grabbed another by his leg and slung him against the wall to shatter his spine. Then grabbed the last one by his throat, lifted him off the ground, and stabbed him in his stomach with his wrist blades. He held him on his blades for ten seconds, then withdrawed them into the bracer and disappeared from the scene.

Adri had pressed herself against the wall as, once again, the men around her were slaughtered. She looked around, wondering if it was the large creature from the other night.

But that couldn't be possible. That was a dream, the creature couldn't have done that.

"H-hello?" she gasped out. Adri looked around a little.

Maintaining his stealth, Iron Side watched from above the girl's head, at the edge of a buildings roofing. The bodies laid against the ground from his work, not all that was left was to make them into trophies. A task only possible with Adri's absence, that way she wouldn't know anything.

(Sorry its short, I'm at school :/ )

Without a moment's hesitation, Adri turned and started running home. She pulled off her jacket as she ran, since it was stained with blood, and tossed it into the street. She ran until she was back in her room, where she collapsed inside, shutting the door.

"Something strange is happening," Adri said to herself. She looked up, her expression determined. "I need to know what though. There's no way this could be a dream, I know I'm awake."
