There're two columns. One of them had to be upside down, so I made the left-hand one top-side up.

Not quite sure why they did that...

It makes it easier for me to keep track of my notes. If I wrote it all in a single column, it would waste tons of space when the paragraphs weren't big enough, and if they were both facing the same direction, there would be a big eye-jump back to the top. This way, you read down the left column, spin the page, read down the right column, flip the page vertically, and the next left column follows immediately opposite where the previous-right ended.

My handwriting is supposedly nice and neat, but too small. I like writing small, it's easier for me.

Even if others say 'askl;dfhf why so tiny?'

That's for my lecture notes, anyway. If I'm too lazy my handwriting can end up looking like a doctor's.
