Joanne Dalton stands at 6'1" and weighs 147.4 pounds. She has black hair tied in a single braid, with a brown headband to keep it out of her face. Joanne has a triangular jaw, and a round nose with a small bulbous tip that slightly protrudes. Joanne also has a bit of an overbite that really shows when she grins; in addition to that, she has a gap in between her two front teeth. A small beauty mark rests on the underside of her jaw, right next to the position of her larynx. She also wears bottom-frame silver glasses and a necklace cord around her neck with three flat Blue Shards hanging from the center. She has a fluctuating conversational voice that generally rests on the sweeter side, and a powerful singing voice. She doesn't have on makeup or nail polish (she tried it once and never tried again after she ruined the work she had done by playing basketball right after applying cosmetics). Joanne constantly smiles unless something concerns her; however, she retains her jovial personality no matter what happens.[/BCOLOR]

Joanne has average-breadth shoulders, extending about half the width of her head in either direction. Her chest isn't all that big, but Joanne really doesn't care. However, because a lot of her height is in her legs, she simply can't find a pair of jeans that covers all the way down her ankles, so she's given up trying. She also wears basketball shoes and can shoot hoops pretty well (although it's just a hobby). Proportionally, her torso is a little bit shorter than an average person's, but her arms and legs are proportionally correct. Joanne's hips flare out slightly less than her shoulders, and her rear is more or less average-sized. Her calves and thighs get their tone from her basketball hobby. However, her arm strength doesn't match her lower-body strength, and as such, when she plays basketball, she prefers to take shots closer to the basket. When hucking Poké Balls, Joanne doesn't hurl them very far, which makes it a little bit dangerous to try and catch the more vicious Pokémon such as Druddigon or Beedrill.[/BCOLOR]

Joanne's regular apparel consists of a low-cut V-neck T-shirt, usually in pastel colors, and one of three different pairs of jeans, as well as the aforementioned basketball shoes. Her socks vary in color; sometimes, she wears pure white socks, sometimes, she wears colored or patterned socks, and sometimes (generally when she's tired) she mismatches the colors. (Occasionally, however, she might do this on purpose if she's in a particularly good mood.) On a sunny day, she puts on a visor (so she doesn't have to go buy a pair of sunglasses). On her right wrist she wears the wristwatch her dad gave to her on her sixteenth birthday, a week before she set out to participate in the Sveri league. She wears a gray, single-strap, dual-pocket backpack with a fiberglass six-Poké-Ball rotating holster attached in place of the mesh side pocket. Bio: Joanne Dalton has learned to make the best of life. Even though her father remains a long way away, in the Kalos region, due to his work, she finds a good role model in both her father and her mother. She has learned the value of loyalty to partners, friends, and family, and plans to treat her new Poké-pals with the same respect that she would give any fellow human. Joanne always finds a way to remain jolly and pleasant, and serves as a major positive influence on her peers. She believes strongly that a Pokémon isn't measured by only one thing, but through every aspect of the Pokémon, weighted heavily on its relationship with its Trainer. When Joanne becomes upset, however, she tends to cry a lot (another reason she doesn't wear any cosmetics). When nervous, she scratches the back of her neck and her eyes dart from left to right. She also tends to become more of a chatterbox than she usually is. She follows basketball and plays it for recreation; back at her home, her local park had a rec center where she would shoot hoops with some of her friends. She loves literature and reading, but cannot stand (or understand) mathematics higher than algebra; Joanne tends to think more abstract. One of her tics is saying "I believe" before making a statement; another is chewing on her braid.[/BCOLOR]

Joanne was born to parents whose heritage was mostly native Unovan. However, don't talk tribe garbage to Joanne: she takes offensive comments against minorities like her very seriously. Prior to arriving in Sveri, her life in Unova was generally normal. She lived in Virbank before moving to Nacrene when she was seven, and is a fan of Brycen. Her father's business is in Kalos; he works a division of the Poké Ball manufacturing facilities, one of the subsidiary branches of the Laverre plant. However, her father remains loyal to his family, and even sends gifts such as free Timer Balls and the watch Joanne got for her sixteenth birthday. He promised to take the family to Lumiose City one day. Joanne, in the meantime, grew into a healthy young woman, standing tall and proud of her nature. She helped her mother around the house, and she loved visiting Lenora's gym and reading the books. She received her Klink and Corphish, Piper and Jeff as household Pokémon when she was 14, and mostly used them to help out her mother (and to reach the cookie jar atop the refrigerator, back when she was still short; Piper helped her with that). Now, she begins a journey with her Pokémon to learn about the different ways of life in different parts of even the same region.[/BCOLOR]

Description/Picture: Marco Rodriguez is about 5'7" with a lanky, skinny frame, about 105.2 pounds, and an air of mischief. His shoulders are quite broad, albeit with a lot less meat than your average 17-year-old. However, Marco doesn't seem to mind his light weight, always saying "I'd rather be as quick and small as the crafty Sableye than a mucho gordo Hariyama!" Marco's muscles are pretty defined, mostly because there isn't much fat to cover the definition up. His hair is wild and messy, sticking up, down, and around in places in triangular chunks of hair. His thick eyebrows arch high then low, curling up slightly towards the brow to give the impression that he's always smirking. Marco's eyes slant away from the nose, his tear ducts pointing slightly towards the middle of his brow. He has peach-colored skin that tans easily, and he has quite a few peeling calluses on his feet that he picks when he's bored and barefoot. When Marco grins, it's an impish grin that suggests that he's either going to be your friend or swipe your wallet (though he would never DREAM of doing that usually).
Despite his skinny figure, Marco's proportions remain normal, but his fingers are pretty long and deft. He has long fingernails that often have a bit of dirt caked underneath them because of the time he spends outdoors in Route 4's sandstorms. (Alright, fine, a LOT of dirt.) He has a scar on his left bicep after a little scuffle he had with a wild Mandibuzz on the route. He flaunts this to girls, joking that he was strong and quick as a Hawlucha. Being slender, however, Marco also has large knobby joints. His bones, however, are strong from his love of la leche.

Marco wears either a collared shirt with the three top buttons unbuttoned, or a U-neck T-shirt. Marco has both long and short pants, but because it's cold in Sveri, Marco won't find much use for his shorts. His sneakers are red, worn-out, and dirty on the soles, with frayed laces and broken aglets. (According to Marco, however, they're easy to run in.) He doesn't have socks, as he's never really felt the need. He carries around his retainer case in his pocket, and has a small blue backpack. He has contact lenses.[/BCOLOR]

Bio: Marco Rodriguez: if you went down his neighborhood and asked anyone at all about him, they'd always have some funny quote or story to share. Marco gets by through his wit and sharpness of tongue, always having something funny to say. (Thankfully, he's also very aware of the "when-to's.") Marco has always been scrawny, so he found that a reputation as the neighborhood funny-man would keep the bullies away from him. Girls think his personality cute; yet, he doesn't have a girlfriend. He makes extravagant, exaggerated movements and facial expressions. He watched the Colbert Report and the Daily Show. When nervous, he does this odd thing where he places his thumbs on the back of his neck and presses lightly.

Marco lives in the sandy expanses of Route 4, preferring to stay nearby the dusty desert. He has a cousin in Orre in prison who was a former Cipher Peon, and whose Victreebel the wardens allowed him to keep for good behavior. Marco calls his cousin every week. In regards to the rest of his family, he lives with his father, who helped with the construction of the homes on Route 4. His dad is always tired, so Marco must take care of himself. However, that leaves him without much of an influential father figure. Perhaps the most important influence his father had on him is his industrious, hardworking nature, and his desire to provide his Pokémon with the attention he never could have.[/BCOLOR]

Description/Picture: Stands at 5'8", weighs at 121.4 pounds. Her hair is chestnut-brown and straight, with two clumps sticking out like antennae from the back of her head. The gaze of her narrow, steel-gray eyes seems to cut like a knife, and her smirk suggest that she's looking for a way to take you down. Her small nose curves upward a little bit, and she has simple, round, metal earrings. She has thin, arched eyebrows and long eyelashes.
Lucy has a slender neck upon her shoulders. Her body is toned because she trains herself with her Pokémon; she's still rather stocky in the upper and lower halves, while her waist draws inward.
Lucy wears cargo pants held up with a belt, as well as a polo that's usually a dull color. She has combat boots and black knee-high stockings with white stripes. She carries her flute case separate from her bag.

Mega Flute--A chrome-plated flute with a Key Stone embedded in one of the keys. The corks are in good condition, and there are no dents. Lucy keeps a tuner in her case as well. The frenetic music she plays triggers Mega Evolution, and aggravates her other Pokémon, raising their offensive stats.
Bio: Lucy's mindset is very competitive-based, unlike her cousin in Johto. She thinks in terms of stats and calculations, and has a strict regiment of training for her Pokémon. She is rather snarky and sarcastic, and makes biting remarks to her competitors, win or lose. She doesn't have many friends; most of the relationships she's had were rivalries. She's aggressive in personality, but has a varied battle style and a preference for Steel types.
Born in Viridian City, she had always admired the strength of her town's Gym Leaders—both Giovanni and Blue—and strove to be as strong as—or stronger than—they were. On a visit to Johto, Lucy had witnessed her cousin's defeat at the hands of a Trainer, which is why she doesn't respect her all that much. She has applied to Smogon University of Pokémon and has studied the tier levels. There are just some Pokémon that she laughs to see in battle.
For some reason, there was one move she could never make her Pokémon master: Return. No matter how many times she tried, the move remained weak. She had to keep overwriting it with stronger moves. Because of that, she doesn't like Normal-type Pokémon, and resents people who use them.

Bio: Devin tends to be very introverted. He doesn't make much of an effort to talk to people, not because he doesn't want to, but because he doesn't know what to say. When people do get close to him however, he is very kind and never wants to see them hurt. His introversion is probably why he loves Ghost-Types so much, as they tend to have gone through many of the things he has.
Devin was born in the Kalos region, though his parents were ethnically from Sinnoh. As a child Devin was introverted, though not as extremely as he is now. Growing up he tried to talk to others but always messed up with what he
meant to say and what he
did say, this lead to him becoming even more introverted and is what made him who he is now. He lost confidence in his ability to choose the right words and as such, became very quiet. When he came of age to become a Pokemon Trainer, the first pokemon he received was a Shuppet that his father [who is a pokemon breeder] had bred. Devin and the Shuppet grew very close, as Devin didn't need to speak to show his affection toward the pokemon. Now the only time Devin speaks freely is when he is talking to his pokemon.

She is very competitive when she is in a battle and while shes training.
Hannah grew up on a ranch with her mother father and 7 brothers her mother was a nurse and her father was a trainer and all of her brothers because trainers and she is following in her brothers footsteps. She worked with her mom at the hospital ever since she was young and learned different ways to heal pokemon while using herbs and such. She also found out recently that her father didn't die in a fishing accident but that he was murdered.
Sida is very shy and carrying towards those that she thinks have similar personality to her and those who don't lie. The people that lie a lot and are cold hearted she wont waste her time on. She is also very shy towards people that she dosnt know and once she gets to know them she is very bubbly and has a very cheerful personality unless somebody brings up her father then she will sink into a depression that she will slowly crawl out of.

Mitchell is a fairly short guy for his age who can appear as one of the people you never really notice in a crowd. Standing at about 5' 5" with locks of raven black hair that swoop to one side, Mitchell only has a few things that stick out: his creamy pale skin, tattoos, and piercings. He has several on his body, some of which can't be seen all the time, and plans to get a few more. The most noticeable ones are the single snake bite on his bottom lip [
I accidentally put spider bite in the picture!], an eyebrow piercing on his left-hand eyebrow and a solid ear gauge [
I butchered this word so bad on the drawing...] , but he does have a belly button piercing and one in the center of the tip of his tongue. Matching his black piercings are his solid black eyes that appear to be the blackest thing you'll come across. He also has a few tattoos which can be found on his neck and his left arm. Both are a mixture of patterns that are pitch black. And if you were wondering, he is pretty strong and has a few muscles, but not a full out 6-pack of abs or ginormous muscles bursting out of his arms.
As for his clothes, he tends to wear simple things. His main outfit consist of a red, long-sleeved shirt, a black V-neck sweater with a pokeball embroidered on to it, a pair of ankle high boots, and a pair of khaki pants. He sometimes wears a red or black beanie with this outfit. For his back up outfit, Mitchell wears a black shirt with the sleeves cut off that has a white splatter paint design of a lucario on the bottom, a pair of slightly baggy jeans, and the same boots he wears fro his main outfit.
Mega Item: Surprisingly on his neck tattoo. He plans to have one of his friends, who is the same guy to give him the rest of his piercings, to make him a custom piercing with the stone in it to fit the circle on his neck tattoo. He finds that having them on common items, such as bracelets or necklaces, is not unique or original. Just try not to ask him how it will get put on or poke it afterwards.
Bio: Mitchell was raised peacefully in a small apartment in Castelia City of the Unova Region. He lived with only his mother since his father left her after find out that she was having a child as the result of teen pregnancy. However, instead of her not being able to care for Mitchell as most people who knew her thought, she managed to raise him without little troubles. She was able to get a decent job as a business woman for one of the major companies that gave her more than enough money to have food for her son and the other things he needed. To add to that, one of his mother's friends gave her a Kangaskhan and a Chansey to help care for Mitchell. While Mitchell's mother was at work, the two Pokémon did their best to watch over Mitchell and proved to be very protective of him. However there was something missing: a friend. While Mitchell did have plenty of human friends, his mother thought that he was missing out on how fun Pokémon could be. True he already had two Pokémon looking out for him, but they weren't exactly the fun and adventurous type. So on a day that his mother had off, she took him out to catch his own Pokémon with the help of the Kangaskhan. After a few hours they finally caught a wild Smeargle who Mitchell nicknamed Peppy.
Peppy was a friendly Pokémon who grew to like Mitchell quite fast. He not only gave him company, but also an artistic ability since Peppy constantly drew on the walls of the apartment and anything else that wasn't super valuable. He was also the reason why Mitchell got tattoos due to that fact he would paint all over his body. However, they never did fight in Pokémon battles because of how Mitchell wanted to get a real job when he got older to help his mother out and how he hated to see Peppy get hurt. Mitchell was a very bright boy who knew lots of things and wasn't a huge fan of traveling as well.
However, about two months after he turned nineteen-years-old, Mitchell watched a battle tournament with his mother on the TV they had. She asked him if that seemed interesting with Mitchell's answer being "Its alright." She then went on to explaining how much fun it was for her when she was on her Pokémon adventure before she had him and that it was one of the greatest things a person could do. She said that she wanted him to go out on his adventure, even if it lasted only a year or two, so that he too could experience the adventure. At first Mitchell said no to the idea, but after a few months of thinking and her repeatedly 'suggesting' the idea he finally said yes to it. On the day that he left his home for another region, his mother told him to take her Kangaskhan with him so that he'll have someone close to watch out for him as well as the fact that she would send him a special gift after he won a gym badge or two.
Other: Mitchell's theme song are "Ghost" by Mystery Skulls and "Hello" by Monster Cat. He also hates body hair that is not the hair on his head since he finds it unsanitary. He likes to be clean at all times and hates getting dirty without reason.

Sometimes he can be very laid back and be in a doesn't care kind of mood. but if he is in a battle he gets very serious unless he's battling someone he really likes in that case he's in a happy mood. He doesn't like making friends unless you earn his respect or catching pokemon unless they earn his respect and vice versa. He is also not scared easily and hates people and pokemon that don't have respect.
Shane was born in Lavender town where he was raised by his grandparents because his mother and father died in a house fire. Everyday he would go to Pokémon Tower to play with the ghost pokemon. When Shane decided he wanted a pokemon his grandparents bought him a pokeball but they said that he had to catch one himself. So he went to pokemon tower hoping to catch a pokemon but with no pokemon to help him he had to think of a way to catch them. While he was thinking a Gastly that he had played with a lot came behind him and looked at what he was doing. Shane noticed Gastly and got an idea and he asked Gastly if he would like to be his pokemon and Gastly agreed and clicked the pokeball and went in and Shane named him Shade.
One day his grandparents died so he had to move in with his Uncle in Ecruteak City in the Johto region. While he lived there he went over to the gym a lot to watch Morty battle and sometimes hang out with him or talk about ghost type pokemon which they both loved. One day when he went out to catch a new pokemon he met a Wobbuffet and he tried to catch it. But since he knew little about them he didn't know how they fought so he was surprised when the Wobbuffet used Mirror Coat and knocked out Shade. Shane went up to the Wobbuffet and asked him if he wanted to join him and the Wobbuffet accepted so he held out a pokeball and Wobbuffet tapped the button and went inside and Shane named him Ricochet because of how he fought . After that Shane got a new found love for psychic types but he still loved ghost types more. He also respected Dark types after having both Shade and Ricochet lost to a trainer with a Sneasel and a Murkrow. When he turned 17 he decided he wanted to go on a journey so he asked his Uncle for some money so he could go to a new region to go on a journey. His Uncle hesitated to give him the money but he decided that Shane was old enough and he already had 2 pokemon so he gave him the money and wished him luck. Before Shane left he used his own money to buy some Leftovers for Ricochet to make him better in battle.

Chris is a rather serious person who don't usually speak unless he have something good to say or have thought his answers through. Usually he's only ever silly around pokémon or children who he believe that everyone should be nice too. He's fair and nice however and een thought he doesn't like speaking to strangers too much he is respectful and is friendly once the ice is broken.
Chris comes from the Svei Region, and unlike many others have lived here his whole life. Here he likes wandering around in the great near endless forests together with his two pokémon that he have had almost his whole life. His hobbies besides being a trainer is Fishing and somewhat hunting for rare pokémon, however he would never needlessly hurt someone as he have a respect for all living things.

Description/Picture: Kaiten has longish red hair and purple eyes with a slender frame. He prefers to wear a hoodie at all times, even in summer and usually wears jeans and sneakers along with it. His pack generally has a book or two in it and he tends to read that along the way, sending them home as he enters town and waiting for the next one to be sent from home.

Personality:Kaiten often sees himself as older than he is, mostly because he's usually far more well-read than most. However, he does show a more immature side, often squeeing when something he finds amazing happens. He has a deep respect for both his and other's pokemon and is more than willing to do what he can to help them. There is also a bit of a flair for the dramatic for him, brought on by the fact that he has psychic powers and he wants to use them to show off. Just a bit.
History:Kaiten is the son of Sinnoh Elite Four member Lucian and the cousin of Kanto Gym Leader Sabrina through his mother. Despite being loved by both parents, growing up was difficult, mostly because of Lucian's responsibilities as a member of the Elite Four. Most of the time, it seemed like he never saw his father and as a result bonded more with his mother and the pokemon around him.
Like his father, he had an affinity for psychic types but it ran even deeper than that - he himself was psychic. Not to the extent of his cousin Sabrina by any stretch, or even his uncle but he had telekinesis and a very limited telepathy. Like his father though, he had a love for reading and it was with books, pokemon, and psychic powers that his childhood was founded on.
Growing older, he came into his powers more and more: he could telepathically communicate to those he had a close bond to and his telekinesis was powerful enough to toss pokeballs. Such was it that he was able to communicate with the Espeon that was the fourth member of their family who in her own ways, helped Kaiten develop his psychic powers even more.
On his tenth birthday, he was surprised to find his father at home waiting for him when he awoke. As Lucian began the talk that all parents eventually have with their children, Kaiten listened eagerly, squeeing with delight when his father gave him the pokeball that held his first pokemon: an Abra, the offspring of Lucian's own Alakazam and bred specially for Kaiten. The two bonded almost instantly, a telepathic flow opening between the two of them in only a short while. Only feelings at first, but it grew stronger until the two were conversing entirely by telepathy.
Over the next few years, they grew together and Kaiten took interest in the Unown of Solaceon Town and their psychic powers as well as their forms. He began making trips to Solaceon from their home in Hearthome City to observe them. The Day Care couple got to know him rather well as he would often stop to chat with them, wondering about the mechanics of pokemon breeding, an interest of his own brought on by books.
When he was thirteen, he was approached by the Day Care Man who offered him an egg that a trainer didn't want. With some trepidation that he wasn't ready, but feeling up to the task, Kaiten accepted the responsibility and when it finally hatched into a Sneasel, he was more than surprised at it but completely accepted the new pokemon. Unlike Abra it took some time for the two to bond but when they did, it was a firm friendship.
By now, his studies on the Unown had left him at the same dead end as so many others better than him had found and his knowledge of breeding was something he wanted to test; that and to follow in his father's footsteps. The Sveri league would prove to be an open invitation for that and also a chance to really go it on his own, at least, outside of his reading. In preparation for his flight to the region, he began training his pokemon under Lucian's supervision at first, the proud father eager to see if his son had inherited his own natural skill with battling.
Surprised by his son's ownership of a Sneasel, he was nonetheless happy to see that Kaiten's love extended far beyond the psychic types he had grown up with. Before Kaiten left, Lucian gave him a single odd claw, telling his son that he should let Sneasel hold it at night. It took only a second for the well-read Kaiten to recognize the item as a Razor Claw. It was Lucian's gift to his son at the start of his pokemon journey and the impetus for Kaiten to dash out the door as the sun began to set to have his Sneasel evolve.
And now, flying into the Sveri region, he comes armed with a pair of excellent pokemon and a desire to prove himself even better than his father.
